Ich war mit dem Besuch dehr zufrieden und komme gern wieder.

Wir waren zum frühstücken im Café Anders. Wir hatten das Skandinavia für 2 Personen und Homemade Pancakes mit Waldbeerenragout. Die Menge war in Ordnung auch ohne die Pancakes wären wir satt geworden. Allerdings würde ich die Produkte beim Discounter günstiger bekommen, war nichts besonders, eine Scheibe (halbiert) Kochschinken für 2 Personen 🤷‍♂️. Zum Frühstücksei wäre etwas Salz auch schön. Es gab bei Nachfrage eine Salzmühle aber ich möchte kein Topf mit 10 Liter Suppe salzen... . Kleine Salz und Pfefferstreuer wären vielleicht sinnvoll. 25€ für das Skandinavia Frühstück ist eindeutig zu viel, wenn vielleicht noch ein Saft oder Kaffee dabei wäre ok aber so, nein. Das Personal war freundlich und umsichtig und das Ambiente hat uns auch gefallen.

Das Anders Café in Jena hat uns komplett begeistert! Schon beim ersten Eindruck merkt man: Hier steckt Liebe zum Detail in jedem Gericht und Getränk. Das Steak & Fries war absolut auf Restaurant-Spitzenniveau – perfekt gegart, unglaublich zart und zusammen mit der sensationellen Soße einfach ein Traum. Dazu knusprige Fries und ein frischer Salat mit einem unglaublich leckeren Dressing, das dem ganzen Gericht noch das gewisse Extra gegeben hat. Die Trüffel & Beef Linguini waren ebenso ein echtes Highlight: cremige Trüffelsauce, perfekt abgestimmte Gewürze, zarte Roastbeef-Streifen und frischer Rucola – luxuriös, aromatisch und einfach unfassbar lecker. Jeder Bissen war Genuss pur. Besonders begeistert haben uns auch die selbstgemachten Mocktails und Limonaden. Super frisch, kreativ und geschmacklich deutlich besser als alles „von der Stange“. Man schmeckt sofort die hochwertigen Zutaten und die Liebe, mit der alles zubereitet wird. Dazu noch die gemütliche Atmosphäre, stilvolle Einrichtung und ein unglaublich freundlicher Service – das Anders Café ist definitiv einer der besten Spots in Jena. Wir kommen garantiert wieder! 🙌🍹🥩🍝

Super freundliche Bedienung mit erklärenden und hilfreichen Tipps und wunderbarer Küche und Bar Sehr gemütlich und neckische Getränkeliste

Ein gut zugängliches Restaurant mit stimmungsvoller Einrichtung, gemischtem Publikum und angenehm leiser Musik. Und vor allem: sehr freundliches Personal. Ich bestellte die Orasia Bowl und das Ramen mit Teriyaki-Rindfleisch. Der Salat war besonders gelungen, sehr abwechslungsreich und hervorragend zubereitet. Das Hauptgericht hingegen schwamm in Teriyaki-Sauce. Schade, denn die Zutaten waren frisch und ausgewogen. Wahrscheinlich trug auch dazu bei, dass ich dieses Gericht in Japan mit großem Genuss gegessen hatte. Dort achtet der Koch darauf, dass die einzelnen Zutaten so viel Eigengeschmack wie möglich behalten und so kontinuierlich zum Geschmackserlebnis beitragen. Zum Glück lässt sich das in Zukunft wohl leicht beheben.

Sehr leckeres vegetarisches Essen, hohe Qualität, ideal für ein Abendessen. Wenn möglich, fragen Sie nach einem Tisch im ersten Stock, dort ist es geräumiger.

Das Löschen von Negativbewertungen zieht negativbewertungen nach sich ... wir waren hier zum Frühstücken, hatte vorher reserviert und bekamen lediglich einen kleinen Minitisch mit Hockern, der für 3 Personen nicht gereicht hat... Die Bedienun hat die Bestellung bereits mit recht motzigem Unterton aufgenommen. Nach 1 Stunde hatten wir noch nicht mal den Kaffe bekommen. Auf unsere Nachfrage folgte wieder Gemotze seitens Bedienung. Wir verstehen absolut, wenn man bei vollem Haus etwas im Stress ist, wäre aber auch sehr viel freundlicher gegangen. Etwa nach 1 1/2 Stunden hatten wir dann unser Frühstück, dass wir angesichts der Tischgröße größtenteils um uns herum am Fußboden platzieren mussten, einen anderen Tisch wollte man uns auch dann nicht geben... obwohl das Essen an sich lecker war, ein trauriger und ärgerlicher Tag ... zudem mussten wir feststellen, dass die entsprechende Bewertung nach einiger Zeit gelöscht wurde

Das Essen sieht zwar schön aus, aber der Geschmack ist nur durchschnittlich und der Preis ist viel zu hoch. Mein Freund hat ein Beefsteak bestellt, aber das Stück Fleisch war so klein, dass es eher wie eine Portion für Ameisen aussah, und die Pommes waren labbrig. Danach musste er zu Hause die ganze Nacht erbrechen und ihm ging nächste Tag ganz schlecht. Ich habe Rippchen bestellt und war damit ziemlich zufrieden. Der Service war nett, deshalb gebe ich 1 Stern.

Wir hatten vorab Burrata bestellt. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, die Portion sei so groß, dass sie fast als Hauptgang durchgehen könne. Deshalb habe ich auf eine weitere Vorspeise verzichtet. Als die Burrata kam, war die Portion jedoch deutlich kleiner als erwartet. Als Hauptspeisen hatten wir u. a. BBQ-Lachs sowie einen Garden Salad mit Garnelenküchlein. Beim BBQ-Lachs war geschmacklich leider kaum bis gar nichts von BBQ zu merken. Beim Salat waren nur drei kleine Garnelenküchlein dabei. Zusätzlich bestellten wir Süßkartoffelpommes. Die Teller waren zwar schön angerichtet, die Portionen insgesamt aber relativ klein für den Preis. Die Mojitos waren ebenfalls enttäuschend, da sie kaum Süße hatten. Getränke, Burrata und Pommes kamen recht zügig. Auf die Hauptspeisen mussten wir jedoch etwa eine Stunde warten, obwohl der Laden nicht voll war. Danach standen unsere leeren Teller weitere 45 Minuten auf dem Tisch, ohne dass jemand abgeräumt oder nach weiteren Getränken gefragt hat. Wir fühlten uns insgesamt ignoriert. Als wir die Kritik ruhig angesprochen haben, wirkte der Kellner leider wenig professionell und sichtbar verärgert. Spätestens als klar war, dass wir bei diesem Service kein Trinkgeld geben, wurde die Stimmung noch unangenehmer. Am Ende haben wir fast 75 € bezahlt und sind hungrig sowie unzufrieden gegangen. Sehr schade, aber für uns war es leider der letzte Besuch im Café Anders.

Wir haben uns wie immer sehr wohlgefühlt! Entspannte Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen, guter Service, überaus freundliche Mitarbeitende - perfekt für eine kurze Auszeit.

Schönes Ambiente, freundlicher Service. Zwei gute Essen, beim dritten Essen stark verbrannter Lachs unter Gemüse versteckt. Die Reaktion auf Kritik leider ebenso enttäuschend.

Das Restaurant Anders in Jena hat uns total überzeugt! Leckeres, frisches Essen, ein wunderschönes Ambiente und eine entspannte Atmosphäre sorgen insgesamt für eine super Wohlfühlstimmung. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, der Service zudem angenehm schnell. Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Abend mit unserer Gruppe und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und das Personal sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen, sowohl Hauptspeisen als auch Dessert, ist extrem lecker. An Getränken empfehlen wir besonders die hausgemachten Limonaden.

Wir waren letzte Woche brunchen. Ich bin keine Person, welche viel isst, aber selbst für mich waren die Portionen unzureichend. Mein Partner ist ebenfalls nicht satt geworden, trotz 60€- Rechnung. Zudem passt die Menge an Beilagen nicht zu den dazu gereichten Backwaren. Wer also Lust hat auf teures Essen (nicht qualitativ) und Kaffee über Tankstellenpreisen, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Resümee: kleine Portion, teuer (unzureichendes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis), ruhiges Ambiente, freundliches Personal

War schon öfter dort und essen ist immer top.

Der Service war super nett! Am bieten geht voll in Ordnung, hinten eine schöne Idee mit der warmen Oberlicht Beleuchtung. Das Essen ist gut, aber eben nicht sehr gut. Der Lachs mittlere Qualität, die Salate etwas langweilig. Der Kuchen war ok - vegane Alternative gab es, leider keine Weizenfreie oder zuckerfreie. Insgesamt solide, aber mit Luft nach oben.

War neulich im Anders essen, super Service und sehr gute Qualität vom Essen. Perfekter Abend und auch eine super nette Bedienung, immer wieder gerne!

Ein gelungener Abend. Vielen Dank. Speisen schmackhaft und schön angerichtet. Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre, das die Getränke etwas gedauert haben, aber es war sehr voll und da kann man Verständnis haben.

Wir hatten den Caesar-Salat und das Süßkartoffelrisotto. Das Risotto war sehr lecker, jedoch die Blätter vom Salat schon welk und das Hühnchen alt.

Waren im Café Anders frühstücken. Das Ambiente ist bis auf die abgeranzten Bänke im Untergeschoss wirklich nett. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Wir hatten das skandinavische Frühstück für Zwei. Die dazu gereichte Erdbeermarmelade war enttäuschend. Ich erwarte keine Selbstgemachte, aber wenn ich zu einem Frühstück in der Preislage (25,90 für zwei) Marmelade bekomme, dann sollte sie schon hochwertiger sein. Diese war es jedenfalls nicht. Auch fehlte zu dem Ei und dem Obstsalat ein kleiner Löffel. Auch passt die Menge der Brötchen/Croissants nicht zu der Menge der Beilagen, somit musste man ein Brötchen nachordern für sage und schreibe 1,90, und dann waren es noch nicht mal Vollkornbrötchen sondern Weizen. Die Speisekarten sollten mal det erneuert werden, die waren genauso abgeranzt, wie die Bänke im Untergeschoss. Da frage ich mich, sieht das keiner oder ist es egal? Da passt einfach das ganze Verhältnis nicht. Schade, denn der grundsätzliche Ansatz ist gut.

leckeres Essen, Service war okay, etwas trubelig

Man fühlt sich hier sehr willkommen, das Essen ist super lecker, vor allem die Bowls sind schmacklich grandios und der Service ebenfalls. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Der Espresso und der Mandel-Nuss-Karamell Kuchen waren sehr fein. Absolut zu empfehlen ist die Kaffeerösterei von den 'Roöstbrüdern' aus Weimar (70/30).

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Frühstück hier. Sowohl für die Erwachsenen als auch für die Kinder war es gemütlich und erholsam. Das Essen war super.

Ich war heute zu tiefst enttäuscht. Wir wollten einfach nur Kaffee und Kuchen. Nachdem wir bestellt haben, kam zunächst der Kaffee die bestellte heiße Schokolade ohne Sahne kann natürlich mit Sahne. Der Kuchen kam gar nicht. Es gab noch nicht mal eine Servicekraft, die gefragt es in Ordnung ist so dass man hätte nach dem Kuchen fragen können. Nach einer Dreiviertelstunde hat’s mir dann gereicht. Ansonsten ist das Eisen eigentlich okay. Aber heute einfach vom Service unterirdisch.

Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und das Essen superlecker! Von daher zu empfehlen. Personal begrenzte meine Zeit des Aufenthalts am Tisch und nahm meine Bestellung für die Sauerteigschnitte nach 17 Uhr nicht an ohne auf Alternativen auf der Abendkarte hinzuweisen. Ich fühlte mich nicht Willkommen. Trotzdem habe ich die Zeit in diesem Café aufgrund des schönen Ambientes, des heißen Tees und des guten Essens genossen: beim ersten Mal. Beim zweiten Mal bin ich gegangen, weil ich nicht auf die Abendkarte hingewiesen wurde und meinen Platz nach einer begrenzten Zeit hätte verlassen müssen. Diese begrenzte Zeit hätte mir zwar gereicht, aber der wiederholte Hinweis darauf war unfreundlich.

Nur zu empfehlen!! Super netter und aufmerksamer Service und das Essen war ein Traum! Hätte mich feinsetzten können 😁

Das Café Anders ist ein absoluter Wohlfühlort, den wir immer wieder gerne besuchen. Schon beim Eintreten wird man herzlich empfangen – der Service ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, liebevoll und stets freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die unglaublich warme und geduldige Art der KellnerInnen, die wirklich ein Gespür für Gäste jeden Alters haben. Das Essen ist hervorragend: frisch, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach top. Egal ob süß oder herzhaft – hier findet jede*r etwas Leckeres. Auch die Getränke lassen keine Wünsche offen: vom perfekt zubereiteten Kaffee bis zu erfrischenden Getränken ist alles dabei und von bester Qualität. Ein ganz besonderes Plus ist die ausgesprochene Kinderfreundlichkeit. Kinder sind hier nicht nur willkommen, sondern werden mit so viel Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit behandelt, dass man sich als Familie sofort entspannt und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Genau das macht den Besuch so angenehm. Ein Café mit Herz, tollem Essen, großartigen Getränken und einem Service, der seinesgleichen sucht. Absolute Empfehlung! 💛☕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The rib-eye steak portion could have had more side dishes. Otherwise, everything was delicious.

We were there with a large group. The food was very appetizing and presented with great attention to detail. There was a wide selection of dishes from various countries – from regional Thuringian cuisine to Indian curry, from meat to vegan (clearly labeled). Everyone ordered something different and was very satisfied. The kitchen is truly excellent! The drinks were also a feast for the eyes and the palate :) The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, and the atmosphere was stylish yet cozy. Definitely a top recommendation!

We can also accommodate special requests not listed on the menu. For example, a cappuccino with a shot of cocoa.

I wanted to enjoy a lovely breakfast with my daughter and ordered a delicious breakfast for over €20, but we were disappointed. My croissant was completely stale, and there was far too little salmon. The ambiance is great, and the service is very friendly. Perhaps the menus could use some improvement. Best regards

The exceptionally original variety makes choosing a dish difficult, but you'll always be right on the mark, as each dish is skillfully prepared and presented. Just had a drink there. I find wine prices in restaurants everywhere these days to be exorbitant. But at least here you get a decent one for the price.

We wanted to have breakfast at Anders today. Contrary to the legal requirement for vouchers to be valid for three years, they only have two years. Ours was three months overdue and therefore wasn't accepted. So thank you for NOTHING. Enjoy yourselves with my donated money.

We ordered cocktails for three people, but no one was really satisfied. The glasses were too small and had too much ice. The Mai Tai was completely oversweetened.

Excellent brunch! The produce is fresh and the dishes are delicious. We had shakshuka, avocado toast, and pancakes. Everything was delicious! Wide selection of drinks and oat milk as an option. The restaurant is very well located, not too crowded, and the terrace opens onto a beautiful little square.

Waiting an hour for breakfast isn't pleasant, especially when it's already cold. The fact that the kitchen can't keep up isn't a reason that would interest a guest. Friendliness isn't exactly a strong suit of the service. The pancakes in our school cafeteria are tastier – cold, dry, and soggy. The coffee served with the flowery coffee was more like dishwater with milk. Not sure if the cold, runny egg was intended as a hair treatment, but it wasn't eaten. This was our first and last time there and we strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Don't come, we're still here and waiting for breakfast at 12 o'clock, the prices are through the clouds, they're actually stupid, as if anyone would come here more than once voluntarily.

We were initially seated in a rather unfriendly and rude manner. The main problem, however, is the extremely long wait of approximately 60 minutes for breakfast. There were far too many tables allocated for the two people in the kitchen. The food was unfortunately cold. The egg whites in the breakfast ice cream were also very runny and, of course, cold. Furthermore, there was far too little bread/rolls for the numerous spreads and toppings. The pancakes were, unfortunately, simply terrible, especially for the price of around €9. I'm at a loss as to how they can make pancakes so thick but still not fluffy and also very dry. I would advise against visiting this establishment.

As a tourist, I spontaneously stopped by for breakfast and was not disappointed – good, varied selection, delicious food (avocado bread with salmon) and drinks (chai latte), attentive service, and good value for money. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to Anders – and unfortunately, the impression from the first visit was confirmed. The first time, the service was quite unfriendly. When we asked for a white wine, all we got was an annoyed "We have a lot – which one should I get?" instead of a normal recommendation. When I asked for a dark beer, I was also asked quite rudely if I had even read the menu. No, I hadn't – I just wanted a pilsner. But the tone was inappropriate. This time, we wanted to give it another try because the food is good. Unfortunately, there were a few things that simply ruined the overall impression: – Two items were forgotten. – There were four of us ordering two desserts to share – but we only got two spoons. That was free and would have been a nice touch. What really bothered us, though, was that when we paid, they actively asked for a tip, using the card payment directly on the machine. At our table, 15% was added – more out of pressure than anything else – even though we didn't really want to. Many people simply don't have the courage to choose "no tip" in such a situation. Conclusion: The food is delicious, no question. But the service was not pleasant on both visits – too many little things that, taken together, simply didn't leave a good impression. This was the last time for us. If the staff is stressed, they should learn not to take it out on the guests. That's simply unacceptable.

Industrial chic interior with a well-thought-out concept and unsurpassed hospitality

Great as always, but the wait for the food (about 50 minutes) was unfortunately a bit long today.

The breakfast offerings were varied, but we waited over an hour for breakfast. A few minor things also bothered us, like the very runny egg and the fact that the service was a bit slow.

Unfortunately, my visit to this café was a huge disappointment – ​​the breakfast was by far the worst I've ever experienced. The egg wasn't cooked all the way through, the pancakes definitely didn't seem homemade, and the chocolate sauce had an unpleasant, artificial taste. The hot chocolate was the only thing that was halfway decent. What was particularly disappointing, however, was the customer service. Although the café was anything but full when we arrived, we were treated extremely rudely. The tone was disrespectful, rude, and in no way professional. I've never experienced such immature behavior from the staff. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

Excellent food, great service, nice cocktails, good ambiance. The Mezze was superb and would particularly recommend the Tagliata Teres Mayor.

We had a wonderful evening at Kaffee Anders (Sunday, May 25, 2025), thanks in no small part to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. A fantastic employee looked after us with incredible warmth throughout the evening – he checked in regularly, checked on us, and always had a smile on his face. Five of us went to the restaurant today. Everything was very tidy, the service very attentive and really nice. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. A big compliment to the kitchen. We'd love to come back. 👌👍☕😋😋😋☕

Nice place, but nighttime disturbances are problematic for guests.

Relax at the bar with a drink or sit comfortably inside or outside with friends and have a pleasant chat.

A guest isn't really interested in the time in minutes they wait for a drink. Likewise, they aren't responsible for staff mismanagement. You can communicate this to a paying customer in a completely unprofessional tone, but it's tactically unwise. In short, this was my first and last visit. The colleague who runs around the place thinking he's running the Hofbräuhaus during peak hours desperately needs training. Or retraining. The food was partly okay. The ambiance too. I can't comment on the drinks; unfortunately, they didn't ask me if I needed anything else. Why should they? I was out of food after the performance, so I didn't need anything. By the way, we got something to drink at the liquor store across the street, AND the gentleman even had something left for the child. The service was a complete disaster.

We celebrated our wedding Anniversary at Anders Cafe recently, it was a very splendid and sweet experience. The staff at the cafe was very helpful, nice and courteous🥰

Nice atmosphere, delicious food

A breakfast experience that went differently than expected. The five of us spontaneously wanted to have a leisurely breakfast on a Sunday and looked for an option on Google. The ANDERS website was modern and the dishes on the digital menu also appealed to us. We then decided on the DIFFERENT one. The service staff was young and we were happy to get a table as it seemed to be a bit busier on the weekend. Our drink order was received in a friendly manner and from that point on things went DIFFERENT. The drinks took so long that I briefly considered whether I should get them myself - from Brazil. Other guests who arrived after us were served much more quickly. Maybe they had VIP tickets, maybe they were just lucky. Although the service often looked over our empty table, we lacked hospitality and gastronomic know-how. After 30 minutes of waiting, we thought for a moment whether we had landed on the hidden camera. However, this was not the case. When something finally landed on the table - no, not the drinks, but also a few ants, it was clear: everyone is really welcome here. After 45 minutes of waiting, we received our long-awaited hot drinks. A few minutes later, breakfast too. Unfortunately the portions were smaller than my patience. Overall, an experience that did not satisfy our morning hunger and we will decide differently next time.

Everything was great, great service, great selection of food and drinks, prices very ok. Everything freshly prepared. Stylish and feel-good atmosphere.

Very, very cool restaurant with great seating in the sun and in the heart of the city! Love to grab a bite to eat there or enjoy the sun with a coffee and a book! Food: More expensive, but super tasty and creative and fresh! The portions are sufficiently large and the food selection is limited, but still very broad and light (: Drinks: great selection! Whether coffee, aperitif, Sarti or lemonades! Service: fast, professional, friendly! Card payment is no problem!

Modern hipster cafe for the eco/muesli group. Strange drinks and food options, but tastes are different. Ambiance: You sit like a hen on a perch on high chairs that I only knew as baby chairs. Conclusion: Probably only recommended for people under 25.

All in all, a very nice and friendly team! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We'd love to come back :)

Great ambience, nice service, good food

We are quite disappointed with this place. We made a reservation for my birthday, but since we got there a little later due to a demonstration in the city and traffic problems, the staff was passive aggressive about the arrival time. However, when we made the reservation, we were not told that the reservation would only be valid for exactly 15 minutes (we were 17 minutes late). Then they suggested another table with a very uncomfortable environment, too narrow and with too many people in the same room. So we left. Disappointing.

We held our last Christmas party at ANDERS.Cafe. We were very enthusiastic about the service as part of the organization. Sebastian's friendly manner made the preliminary arrangements for our team event pleasantly uncomplicated. The large proportion of vegetarians and vegans in our company did not pose a hurdle for the ANDERS.Cafe when planning the Christmas menu. The very lovingly put together table buffet suggestions could easily be expanded to include a few meat-free/vegan options, so that everyone was happy with the menu selection. The food was highly praised at the celebration and even in retrospect we often hear that this was the team event with the tastiest menu. Many thanks to the entire ANDERS team! You made our Christmas party a very special day. We'd love to come back! :)

We were visiting Jena over the weekend and were looking for a place to have breakfast on Sundays. Anders was recommended to us and we were more than satisfied! The Anders offers a good selection of breakfast and drinks. Whether it's a "classic" breakfast or something more "unusual", everyone will find what they're looking for here. The plates are beautifully and attractively arranged and the glasses are also beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the location itself is also very nice. Hopefully the Anders will still be open on our next visit to Jena, because we will definitely be back!

Very good food. Just a little “different”. Even though it is more expensive than some restaurants in the neighborhood, we think the price-performance ratio is good. We'll be back.

Essen ist und Ambiente ist wirklich super, ABER der Service etwas durcheinander und dass Getränke (Bier) länger dauern, als das Essen ist nicht zu verstehen. Wir hätten gerne mehr getrunken aber 15 Minuten auf nen Bier warten bei normaler Frequentierung ist einfach zu lange.

The food was really delicious. But the highlights were others. Got a table on Saturday with a lot of swapping (6:00 p.m.). The bartender saw the thirst and poured a beer in front of the table. Hello! To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about the food at first. I'm more of a type for well-known dishes, especially schnitzel. The chef (on the evening of January 15, 2025) was very ambitious and my chicken curry was excellent. Really very well seasoned and put together. Then a crème brûlée, which was anything but run-of-the-mill. All in all, a truly outstanding taste experience! Best regards!
