We visited the restaurant. The soups were delicious. Salad 🥗 - don't try it.... The service is very slow, if you are in a hurry and want to grab a bite to eat, this is not the restaurant for you! One visit is enough..... But the restaurant is cozy.

I really liked An Nam. The selection is huge and everyone will find what they are looking for here. The dishes were also very tasty. The drinks were very nicely presented.

The service of this restaurant is very very bad. Never come to this restaurant. The waiter throws the bill to us and did not feel sorry about his services at all. Please note do not come and not even think try at all for this restaurant. Especially if you are tourist and Chinese. He is very discriminate to Chinese customers. I recently visited this restaurant with some office colleagues, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the care and attention the chefs put into their work. We really enjoyed exploring the different flavors and textures. However, one downside was the service. After we finished our starters, we had to wait about 45 minutes for the main dishes to arrive, which felt a bit long. While the atmosphere was pleasant and conducive for conversation, with just the right level of background music, the slow service did impact the experience slightly. Despite that, we had a great time overall and would definitely recommend the place for the food and ambiance!

Located in the trendy Glockenbachviertel, the majority of the neighboring houses have a beautiful appearance. This impression continues as you enter. The furnishings are successful, half-height wooden paneling, discreetly modern chairs and attractive tables give the guest rooms a pleasant ambience. In addition, the cuisine tastes good and authentic. When the temperature is right, the outdoor spaces also invite you to linger. Vietnamese cuisine is generally good. It's not as friendly here as usual. A bit like in North Vietnam (socialist).

Incredible crowd, you eat arm to arm with the next table. I had dinner, and they brought me the wrong dish. They knew it and sent another waitress who didn't understand and speak any english, so I didn't bother to discuss it. The food flavor is totally meh. There are better a cheaper Asians restaurants in munich.

Egal ob Pho - Sommerrollen zum selbst basteln mit den besten Saucen oder Vit cary ......Es schmeckt einfach alles himmlisch! Im Sommer sitzt man wunderbar auf der Terasse am Holzplatz und beobachtet das Treiben, Im Winter im lauschigen Innenbereich! Den leicht verspulten Service haben wir auch lieben gelernt! Best Vietnamese food in Munich! We regularly enjoy visiting our local Vietnamese and really celebrate the cuisine! Whether it's Pho - summer rolls to make yourself with the best sauces or Vitcary...Everything tastes heavenly! In summer you can sit wonderfully on the terrace at the lumberyard and watch the goings-on, in winter in the cozy indoor area! We also learned to love the slightly spooled service! Very authentic! Best Pho in Munich!

Das An nam in der Pestalozzi Straße ist ein langjähriger Favorit von uns (Annam Grill konnte uns hingegen nicht überzeugen). Das Essen ist sehr gut! Die Pho ist Weltklasse - Beste der Stadt! Im Sommer kann man auch nett im Freien speisen. Der Service ist manchmal etwas verpeilt, aber auf eine herzliche und authentische Weise. Wir besuchen das Annam immer gerne :)

Best Pho in town! The food is really delicious. One of our favorite Vietnamese in Munich! The service is certainly sometimes a bit sloppy and the organization needs to be improved - but if you know that, you can adapt to it. In summer you can also sit outside in the middle of the Glockenbachviertel.

Top in this price range! Very good cuisine, every dish was successful, you would like to try the entire menu. (Tables are quite close together, hence the ambience 4 stars)

If I could choose service "0" I would. The food is tasty and looks good. However there are other restaurants with same taste and better prices. What I absolutely hated about this place is that we made a reservation, and as we were beginning to sit down the waitress told us "I need the table in two hours". She repeatedly told us this during the meal. And there were other attitudes that were absolutely unnecessary. Like "ohhhhhhhh no starter???, whyy?" and they were really insistant on us ordering dessert. Like the service was really really bad and you can tell it's all about money. How the customers feel, it's absolutely not in their interests.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 um 19:15 an einem Wochentag gebucht. Leider war der Tisch noch nicht frei und man sagte uns wir sollen draußen bei 8 Grad und strömendem Regen unter den Schirmen warten. Nach 15 Minuten sagte man uns es würde länger dauern und solle Getränke bestellen. Das bestellte Bier kam auch nach 30 Minuten nicht. Keine Entschuldigung, kein anderes Angebot. Die Gäste an „unserem“ Tisch sässen immer noch da. Ja sorry das interessiert mich nach 30 Minuten in der Kälte nicht. Überbucht.

Reserved a table the evening before for Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. When we arrived on time, we were told to wait outside for another 15 minutes. Not the best when it's raining and 11 degrees. But ok. After 15 minutes the waitress came and handed out menus. With the comment when asked that the table is not yet free and it could take another 15-20 minutes because the guests are not leaving. After waiting for 30 minutes we were cold and went to another restaurant. I understand some of that but that wasn't good service or anything else. Please do not accept any more reservations if you are overbooked. You must also inform the guests that the table will be allocated again from XX p.m.

Incredible food and excellent service!

Delicious big portions and quite a wide range of choices on the menu. The staff were quick to serve us. We didn’t see any, but would have preferred a pairing with some Asian beers.

Very very delicious Vietnamese, in general everything was very delicious... the duck with mango sauce and the shrimp noodles stand out. Incredible price-quality ratio!!! Very good price for the quality. The only thing I don't recommend because we thought it was really very bad were the Dimsum (we actually ordered a mix of dumplins and dim sum, which were quite bad, the dough was like chewing gum). I highly recommend it.

Nice restaurant but expensive with mediocre service. We paid €90 each but granted we had a bottle of wine each. Food was tasty but came bit by bit. That wasn’t a problem. Service is very slow, two or three people for the whole place. Lots of wasps, that’s not their fault! They cram the tables in to make more money so you do sit on top of eachother. Overall, a nice restaurant, not sure with €180/2 but very tasty food

As a single person, I had the choice of two tables in the traffic lane, while plenty of two-tops were available in far better locations. I’d have ordered a more expensive meal with wine, but no thanks. And the serving of pho was by far the stingiest I’ve had in Germany. Do not recommend.

Super delicious and authentic Vietnamese food!

Duck meal was disappointed but sweet potato was really good! Also I think they do not have option for pork meal.

Atmosphere was okay, but the food not so much. Springroles (the fried version) tasted old and the filling was indistinguishable. The dim sum was really soggy; just couldn't finish it. Otherwise friendly people.

I had reserved a table for 3 people at 7:30 p.m. The reason for my reservation was a birthday party. When we got there the store was completely booked. A very unfriendly employee (owner?) welcomed us and told us that we would have to wait another 15-20 minutes despite having a reservation. So that we don't "get in the way", she said that we should take a little walk (in the pouring rain!!)... ?!?! We then left the restaurant. Overall, unfortunately, a very short and disappointing visit and therefore not recommended at all! Note: the tables in the restaurant are very, very narrow, which means the noise level in the restaurant is very high!

Solid Vietnamese in the Glockenbach district. Reservations make sense, the restaurant is small. Nice ambience. Definitely not food stalls, but not overly fancy either. An Nam had been on the list for a long time and caught my eye because of the full beer garden and the good-looking food. After looking at the menu, I decided to continue with my Pho test. Not because the selection was so small, no, simply because I find between 19 and 25 euros for a main course just over it. The Pho, on the other hand, comes out very well at 15 euros. Now to the Pho, which came in a relatively small bowl with very few noodles. The meat wasn't plentiful either and could have been a little more with the broth. The broth itself was special, tasted good but didn't have a clear pho character as the sweetness was quite dominant and the fried onions overshadowed the taste a bit. I really liked the large plate with lots of herbs and sauces. All in all, average Pho and generally too expensive for me compared to Munich. However, the take-away card and online prices are fair.

Very tasty with a large vegetarian selection too. You can also sit very comfortably here. Be sure to ask about the large dessert menu!

Leider war unser Essen (Nr. 66 Ente/46 Lachs) sehr fad, obwohl es als scharf angekündigt war. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Essen bei einem Imbiss erwarten oder bei einem chinesischen Restaurant, welches „auch“ vietnamesisch und japanisch kocht. Durch die extrem enge Bestuhlung hatten wir auch keine Privatsphäre. Ach preislich orientiert man sich an die besseren. Tipp für München : Shimai oder Shami bzw. Olching: Mekong.

Best Vietnamese in Munich! Very tasty and plentiful. A joy every time.

Our highlights on a table of 5 friends were: - the Pho soup - the octupus salat - the crispy duck main dish The fifth star goes also for the outdoor tables not far from the lilac tree.

You sit a bit crammed in here, close together. The service was good and friendly and we got our food quickly. It also tasted very good and can be recommended.

We were very excited here a year ago. Unfortunately, the prices have been raised so that there is no starter other than Kropuk for less than €8.90. The pasta dishes are available for just under €20. Everything was a bit intense. But the food was plentiful and good.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed yesterday. The food was tasty and served quickly, but the service was terrible. Were asked to change tables several times and felt very unwanted. After 1 hour and 10 minutes (even though we had the table for 1 hour 30 minutes) we were asked to leave. They wouldn't even let us finish our drinks. Unfortunately that was the last time.

I haven't experienced such a failure in a long time😂, I got a voucher for €80 and used it. Then I ordered something that was supposed to come on a hot iron plate... it came on a plate that wasn't even preheated. It tasted like standard Vietnamese, so not really different... Meat was cold, tough and extremely dry all together. Then the payment: I gave her the voucher, which was loaded with €80. Then she actually comes back and gives me a voucher with 20€ in my hand😂 and after I asked if she could give me the money in cash, the answer came that it was my own fault for not ordering more. It's unbelievable how unfriendly service can be. Never again! Ps: if you delete the review I will create 20 Google accounts and give 1 star

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt!

Ansich ein ansprechendes Lokal und auch der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Nur die Qualität vom Essen passt so garnicht zum Preis. Die bestellten Speisen waren durchweg fade und geschmacklos.

Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und bei warmem Wetter kann man auch sehr gut draußen im Grünen sitzen. Der Service ist sehr schnell, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Ich war schon mal dort und war begeistert von den Udon Nudeln, aber dieses mal wurden wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen hat uns beide nicht überzeugen können. Es war alles sehr schön angerichtet, geschmacklich aber etwas eintönig. Die Frühlingsrollen mit Krabben waren etwas teigig, die vegetarischen gut. Die Hauptgänge waren beide optisch schön, aber geschmacklich einfach sehr lasch und unspektakulär. Wir sind da von vietnamesischen Restaurants eigentlich anderes gewohnt. Die Preise sind dafür eher gehoben. Für uns stimmen da Preis und Leistung nicht überein und wir werden das nächste mal wohl woanders hingehen.

I ordered Banh Khot and Banh Xeo. Both were very nice, quite fine if you are looking for something originally Vietnamese. I will be back to try other food. P/s: Even the name An Nam has a meaning, I mean historically yes. They bring us back to those name between 1858 and 1954.

This is absolutely authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Pho is spectacular. Have been to Vietnam 2x and this is identical food. Service is great ! Highly recommend..

After a long time we returned to An Nam for dinner, finding that most of all the staff had changed, and not to the better and the menu prices went up drastically. Both waiters didn’t speak proper German and nobody was interested if we enjoyed our meal. The price increase is absolutely unacceptable if you find starters at around 8,90 € and mains from 19,99€ and up and the portions became much smaller. Even during the payment process no appreciation or any reaction from the lady manager towards us. Very disappointing. Let me allow you to add, it was not a busy evening at all, although the next day was a public holiday. This was our last visit to An Nam.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Aber völlig inakzeptabel war, dass wir nach 2 Stunden um 20:30 dazu gedrängt wurden, den Tisch frei zu machen, da bereits eine Menschentraube im kleinen Lokal wartete. Dass der Tisch mehrfach belegt wird, wurde mir bei der Reservierung nicht mitgeteilt. Als ich meinen Unmut bekundete, wurde dies lächelnd ignoriert. Nie wieder!!

Nachdem ich bereits 2x hier exzellent gegessen habe, war ich gestern direkt enttäuscht über die beiden Hauptgerichte. Die Bethelblätter mit Hackfleischfüllung (Vorspeisen) waren wirklich sehr gut. Ich hatte das Gericht mit dem Schweinebauch, meine Freundin den Lupe de Mere (ganzer Fisch) - beide Gerichte hatten wir vor ziemlich genau 1 Jahr auch hier gegessen - leider war es diesmal ganz anders! Der Fisch wie frittiert (innen trotzdem gut. Mein Gemüse war selbst für asiatische Verhältnisse kaum im Wok, schon kalt als es ankam, und roh. Die Soße war auch komplett anders, also komplett anders, als ich es erwartet hatte - leider. Die Bedienungen höflich aber Palaver wegen kaltem Gemüse - es wäre wegen der Kälte auf der Terrasse, im Gemüse selbst null Soße, der ehemals große Pott ist auf eine Schale zusammen geschmolzen. Schade! Aber anstatt noch Soße anzubieten (nachdem ich Sie wegen dem Gemüsedrama angesprochen habe erklärte mir die Kellnerin in üblem Deutsch ich müsse das Gemüse in die Soße tunken. Die Schale des Hauptgerichts war ca. 10-12 cm im Quadrat. Winzig. Kein Platz für Reis oder Gemüse!! Ein Reinfall, ich gehe erst mal nicht mehr dahin.

Im Rahmen unseres Städtetrips waren wir im mit Restaurants gut ausgestatteten Glockenbachviertel untergebracht. Wir wollten möglichst viel verschiedenes probieren und so fiel unsere Wahl -auch nach vorheriger Empfehlung durch Bekannte- auf dieses vietnamesische Spezialitätenrestaurant. Der Tag unseres Besuchs -zum Abendessen- war ein Freitag, und es war so wie befürchtet - voll. Die überaus freundliche, für die Platzierung zuständige Dame fragte uns ob wir 20min warten können. Konnten wir! Die Wartezeit wurde uns mit einem gereichten Glas Prosecco erleichtert. Wie angekündigt wurden wir nach kurzem warten platziert und bekamen in der Folge ein hervorragendes Essen. Ambiente, Personal und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben auch gepasst. Wir haben es genossen und können dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Wirklich schmackhaftes Abendessen mit Vor- und Hauptspeisen. Hervorragender Service auch schon während der kurzen Wartezeit auf den Tisch an einem Freitagabend!

Wir waren spontan an einem Samstagabend auf der Suche nach einem Vietnamesen und hatten Glück, dass wir hier noch einen Tisch für eine Stunde bekommen konnten (auch unser Hund war kein Problem, was wir sehr nett fanden). Der Laden ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Bedienung sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir hatten gebratene Ente mit Mango- und Erdnusssoße. Die Mangosoße war lecker, hätte aber noch ein bißchen mehr nach Mango schmecken können, die Erdnusssoße war sehr lecker und geschmacklich anders, als die üblichen Erdnusssoßen, die man so kennt. Das Gemüse knackig, wie es sein sollte. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen, auch wenn es preislich ein wenig teurer ist.

Wir leben 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir waren noch nie zuvor hier. Das wird sich dramatisch ändern. Eigentlich wollten wir zum Japaner die Straße runter. Der war im Urlaub. Grieche? Neee... Also mal TripAdvisor anwerfen... Nanu - ein Vietnamese? 80 Meter entfernt? Warum wissen wir nichts davon? Kurz die Hufe geschwungen, schon waren wir da. Erster Eindruck: voll - wirklich voll. Wir hatten Glück und fanden einen Tisch für zwei. Eine Reservierung scheint äußerst sinnvoll zu sein. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich und schnell. Das Essen? Sehr, sehr gut. Einer der besten Vietnamesen, bei dem wir außerhalb Asiens bislang waren. Die Preise sind völlig im Rahmen, besonders angesichts der hervorragenden Qualität, die geboten wird. Alles in allem eine hochwillkommene Entdeckung. Sehr schön.
