Delicious food, a wide selection, and super friendly service. I really enjoyed my meal at Saigon Deli, and the interior is impressive. You can also sit outside, whether in the shade or the sun. Super cozy, highly recommended!

I like how staffs treated us, it was lovely and nice. Moreover, the food which I ordered fresh pork roll and Beef Pho…. They are just amazing, fresh cook and more important thing is the taste !! It s just made my day, the soup is so refreshing and fresh salad pork roll is superb!!

We were here for the first time two weeks ago. The food was delicious, and the homemade lemonades were amazing. The staff were all very friendly and wiped down the tables after each meal. We were allowed to stay seated even though it was lunchtime and were specifically asked if we wanted something to drink. We'll be back for dinner soon.

Beautiful ambiance, very attentive service. We went there for dinner, and our dishes arrived very quickly – unfortunately, the duck was only warm, not hot. The taste is very good; my friends like going there. Parking is rather difficult in this area – if possible, we recommend using public transport.

The interior inside is quite nice, bringing some cosy vibes. They have lots of outdoor seating so it is nice to come on a sunny day. Their food is tasty (especially bao!) and the food comes fairly quick.

The spare ribs are from another planet! Purely world-class!

The food was very okay, I only found one dish (crispy beef) a bit boring, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Otherwise a really nice shop with good service. And authentic Vietnamese food. Will definitely come back and try more things.

The dishes are really very good across the board, you don't have to wait long and the atmosphere is very nice. Generally recommended! (You should save yourself the coffee after your meal, unfortunately it's not good)

Essen sehr gut. Dieses Mal super Service, die Damen waren so nett und sind auf meine Fragen eingegangen. Aber ein 0,5 Leitungswasser für fast 5€ ist inakzeptabel. Meine Freundin hatte ein winziges Mochi für 4€ , das war auch Wucher.

Die Kellnern sind etw. hektisch, aber trotzdem nett und freundlich. Wir sind zur 3. mal da und immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen (und Drinks!!) :)

Very comfortably furnished restaurant with delicious food. The service is attentive, but has a somewhat unpleasant tactic for seating guests: So guests were repeatedly seated at a small table that was much too cramped right next to a larger group, although some guests refused this table (for good reason) and half the dining room was still empty. For some unknown reason they refused to give the guests any more space. In addition, the choice of furniture in the form of mini beer garden sets (in the interior) is neither visually appropriate nor comfortable.

(Edit below) I come to this place often, and I like the food, but I only do take-out now because of the terrible service quality. As others have noted, two of the waiters always treat customers in an unwelcoming way. They do not smile, they get things wrong because they don't take the time to listen properly and they don't apologize, but insinuate you gave them the wrong order. Others have had even worse experiences, so I recommend reading those comments as well. My recommendation: Do not bring friends or partners here if you want to have a nice dinner out. Haidhausen has better experiences to offer. (Edit: the service quality has somewhat improved. I haven't had any negative experiences in a while, when picking up my to-go orders. Food-wise, big recommendation for the crispy beef)

We stumbled into Saigon today by chance. The food was super tasty and very nicely prepared. The whole restaurant looks really nice from the inside. The service was super fast and very friendly. I can highly recommend it.

I have to say that, for some reason, Tourist is not welcome in that place, the food is below average and is probably prepared in advance and reheated, and the dishes arrive at an incredible speed and without taste which is quite surprising for Vietnamese food, we were badly received by I think the manager of the restaurant, it's the first time that this happens to me, we can all have a bad day but we have to deal with it, the customer is always king.I had asked for a Mai Tai without alcohol, I got a rather rude no and so I asked if he could reduce the alcohol, another no, so finally I was given tap water. If a restaurant cannot make a drink without alcohol then they have to change jobs, it's a principle, the customer is number 1 always, or else politely say that it is not possible, even in German, I would have understood.I thought the guy was in a bad mood, why not, but what disappointed us, even more, was the quality of the food, tasteless, poorly prepared, and almost cold, a bad meal that had gotten off to a bad start anyway.

Hands down best Pho soup I've had outside South East Asia. Everything extremely tasty and super lovely staff.

Good range of menu options and some tasty dishes, although I have had fresher dishes at other Vietnamese restaurants in Europe. Nice layout, with outdoor dining area. The older gentlemans service is impatient, but the girls (his daughters?) have some courtesy. Basic men items are quite expensive.

The food has always been good and that's why it has two stars. But what is really no longer good is the service and hospitality. It now feels like a hassle when you want to get something to take away in the evening. Everyone is free not to offer to go! But if you want to take advantage of this line of business, please do so with the necessary friendliness - that should go without saying. We're not coming anymore.

Nachdem wir Platz am Tisch eingenommen hatten, kam für 40 Minuten niemand um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Wir mussten selbst aufstehen und einen der Servicekräfte bitten zu uns zu kommen um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Nach etwa 1,5h (die Reservierung war zeitlich nicht limitiert) wurde unsere Weinflasche vom Tisch abgeräumt, in der noch 1/4 drin war mit den Worten diese sei leer. Anschließend wurden unsere Gläser abgeräumt ohne zu Fragen ob wir denn noch etwas trinken möchten. Man wurde quasi aus dem Restaurant geworfen. Selten einen so schlechten und unhöflichen Service erlebt. Nie wieder würde ich dieses Restaurant besuchen noch anderen dazu raten.

Food and ambience really lovely, the decor and feel is one of my favourite in Munich. Slightly let down by the service which is unwelcoming and a bit slow, however I’ve been twice and would definitely go again so this didn’t impact the experience too much

Food was delicious. The only negative point: no side dishes such as lime or Thai basil etc. were served with the Pho. But the broth and meat were very good.

Saigon, a place that struck me from my first step off a plane. The scent of roasted pork belly, the chaos of street vendors trying to sell their last batch of spring onions. Vietnamese bar tenders trying to pass off their latest concoction off the back of a drinks cart. What wasn’t to love? Saigon Deli, a little treasure chest that I passed by on my trip to Munich that brought back all the positive emotions I associate with Saigon. Whilst in a more formal setting, the aromas and food sent me straight back to my trip there. The lightness of the pho followed by the share platter of roast pork was a highlight. The tea we consumed on the side acting as the icing on our already delightful cake. Already can’t wait for my next trip to Munich to visit!

The food is very, very good and reasonably priced (lunch menu). Unfortunately there is a 2 star deduction for: card device is "currently defective"

Wir hatten eine Reservierung-saßen noch nicht und schon teilte man uns mit dass wir genau zwei Stunden Zeit zum Essen haben. Das Essen war OK aber auch nicht mehr - dafür war es teuer. Man ist dort nicht Gast sondern ein Deckungsbeitrag. Der Betrieb legt auch keinen Wert darauf Stammgäste zu generieren. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wir werden nicht noch mal dort essen.

The food was good. It's a shame that the service isn't good. Sometimes the waiter just stands there and doesn't say anything. If you then ask for the card, for example, it will be forgotten. Overall, you have to say the service is neither friendly nor competent. No thanks for the tip. The furnishings and decoration are nice, but the beer benches are very uncomfortable, you feel like you're in a fast food restaurant. Won't come back.

Very nicely designed restaurant. Lovingly thought out right down to the toilets. Food very good, great selection, reasonably priced. The service was okay - maybe a little too quick - the plate was barely empty before it was already cleared away... - a slightly older service person who said the "right" things (enjoy your meal, etc.) but still very much Appearing grumpy and unfriendly somewhat spoiled the overall very good impression. Too bad.

We spontaneously ended up at the Saigon Deli with our three-year-old son. When it was busy, the staff went to great lengths to accommodate the three of us quickly and comfortably. Our son was always entertained with jokes and even received an Easter chocolate bunny as a present. The food and drinks were fantastic, I have never had Vietnamese food so good in Germany. And the ambience does the rest! If I were at home in Munich, this would certainly be my favorite restaurant :)

Very good, fresh and authentic food. Depending on your space, you may find it a bit cramped, but the stylish interior makes up for it. We were very satisfied, clear recommendation.
