Unfortunately disappointed, overpriced (20€ for Thai curry), tasted ok, but really nothing more.

I have to say that, for some reason, Tourist is not welcome in that place, the food is below average and is probably prepared in advance and reheated, and the dishes arrive at an incredible speed and without taste which is quite surprising for Vietnamese food, we were badly received by I think the manager of the restaurant, it's the first time that this happens to me, we can all have a bad day but we have to deal with it, the customer is always king.I had asked for a Mai Tai without alcohol, I got a rather rude no and so I asked if he could reduce the alcohol, another no, so finally I was given tap water. If a restaurant cannot make a drink without alcohol then they have to change jobs, it's a principle, the customer is number 1 always, or else politely say that it is not possible, even in German, I would have understood.I thought the guy was in a bad mood, why not, but what disappointed us, even more, was the quality of the food, tasteless, poorly prepared, and almost cold, a bad meal that had gotten off to a bad start anyway.

Hands down best Pho soup I've had outside South East Asia. Everything extremely tasty and super lovely staff.

Good range of menu options and some tasty dishes, although I have had fresher dishes at other Vietnamese restaurants in Europe. Nice layout, with outdoor dining area. The older gentlemans service is impatient, but the girls (his daughters?) have some courtesy. Basic men items are quite expensive.

The food has always been good and that's why it has two stars. But what is really no longer good is the service and hospitality. It now feels like a hassle when you want to get something to take away in the evening. Everyone is free not to offer to go! But if you want to take advantage of this line of business, please do so with the necessary friendliness - that should go without saying. We're not coming anymore.

Nachdem wir Platz am Tisch eingenommen hatten, kam für 40 Minuten niemand um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Wir mussten selbst aufstehen und einen der Servicekräfte bitten zu uns zu kommen um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Nach etwa 1,5h (die Reservierung war zeitlich nicht limitiert) wurde unsere Weinflasche vom Tisch abgeräumt, in der noch 1/4 drin war mit den Worten diese sei leer. Anschließend wurden unsere Gläser abgeräumt ohne zu Fragen ob wir denn noch etwas trinken möchten. Man wurde quasi aus dem Restaurant geworfen. Selten einen so schlechten und unhöflichen Service erlebt. Nie wieder würde ich dieses Restaurant besuchen noch anderen dazu raten.

The food is always good, no matter what you order. Have never been disappointed here so far.

We sat outside where the tables have chairs. Not on the main area where there are only benches to sit on. The food was very tasty and our server was very friendly.

Food and ambience really lovely, the decor and feel is one of my favourite in Munich. Slightly let down by the service which is unwelcoming and a bit slow, however I’ve been twice and would definitely go again so this didn’t impact the experience too much

Food was delicious. The only negative point: no side dishes such as lime or Thai basil etc. were served with the Pho. But the broth and meat were very good.

Saigon, a place that struck me from my first step off a plane. The scent of roasted pork belly, the chaos of street vendors trying to sell their last batch of spring onions. Vietnamese bar tenders trying to pass off their latest concoction off the back of a drinks cart. What wasn’t to love? Saigon Deli, a little treasure chest that I passed by on my trip to Munich that brought back all the positive emotions I associate with Saigon. Whilst in a more formal setting, the aromas and food sent me straight back to my trip there. The lightness of the pho followed by the share platter of roast pork was a highlight. The tea we consumed on the side acting as the icing on our already delightful cake. Already can’t wait for my next trip to Munich to visit!

Excellent food in a nice and cozy space. Service was fast, caring and gentle as can be. Pho Bo, Shuu Mai and Summer rolls were stunning delicious 🙏🏼🌺🙇🏻‍♀️❤️. Drinks were served also quickly, I am looking forward to coming back for more delicious food 🥘🙏🏼🥘

The food is very, very good and reasonably priced (lunch menu). Unfortunately there is a 2 star deduction for: card device is "currently defective"

Wir hatten eine Reservierung-saßen noch nicht und schon teilte man uns mit dass wir genau zwei Stunden Zeit zum Essen haben. Das Essen war OK aber auch nicht mehr - dafür war es teuer. Man ist dort nicht Gast sondern ein Deckungsbeitrag. Der Betrieb legt auch keinen Wert darauf Stammgäste zu generieren. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wir werden nicht noch mal dort essen.

The ambience is nice. Unfortunately, you are limited in time, so there is a bit of a rush feeling. The food itself tastes as you would expect. The service could be a little friendlier.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Jedoch sollte man bei der Reservierung darauf hingewiesen werden, dass man den Tisch nur für gute 2 Stunden hat.

The food was good. It's a shame that the service isn't good. Sometimes the waiter just stands there and doesn't say anything. If you then ask for the card, for example, it will be forgotten. Overall, you have to say the service is neither friendly nor competent. No thanks for the tip. The furnishings and decoration are nice, but the beer benches are very uncomfortable, you feel like you're in a fast food restaurant. Won't come back.

Very nicely designed restaurant. Lovingly thought out right down to the toilets. Food very good, great selection, reasonably priced. The service was okay - maybe a little too quick - the plate was barely empty before it was already cleared away... - a slightly older service person who said the "right" things (enjoy your meal, etc.) but still very much Appearing grumpy and unfriendly somewhat spoiled the overall very good impression. Too bad.

We spontaneously ended up at the Saigon Deli with our three-year-old son. When it was busy, the staff went to great lengths to accommodate the three of us quickly and comfortably. Our son was always entertained with jokes and even received an Easter chocolate bunny as a present. The food and drinks were fantastic, I have never had Vietnamese food so good in Germany. And the ambience does the rest! If I were at home in Munich, this would certainly be my favorite restaurant :)

Very good, fresh and authentic food. Depending on your space, you may find it a bit cramped, but the stylish interior makes up for it. We were very satisfied, clear recommendation.

The Asian restaurants I have eaten in Europe are pretty good. The portions are large. It is recommended to make a reservation. There may not be any seats on site. (The meal time was Saturday dinner. We were originally told that there was no place. After checking, we were placed at a small table for two in the corner.)

Super fast and very friendly service! Food was very good.

Our pickup order was not stored in their system. My friend then wanted to order in the store, the employee was visibly overwhelmed and very unfriendly from the start until he finally yelled at my friend. Incredibly disrespectful treatment of customers who should actually be treated particularly kindly due to the restaurant's mistake.

Stylish, busy and still very comfortable. Food was brilliant, rarely eaten so deliciously at a "Vietnamese". Of course, the ambience, location and quality also come at a price, but it's worth it! Tip: “crispy beef”

Leider war die Tischreserierung nur für 2h, und wir wurden dann auch dementsprechend "gebenten zu gehen", was aber beim Reservierungsprozes nicht mit angegeben wurde.

War super nur die Türe war dauernd auf und es hat gezogen

Nice little restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive. I came to the restaurant specifically because of the Pho Bo, which was good, but I've eaten better elsewhere. The duck dish was very good. Table reservation is recommended.

Tolles vietnamesisches Restaurant mit sehr authentischen Gerichten

The food, drinks and service are really good. The portions and the taste definitely justify the “normal” prices for Munich very well. For vegetarians and vegans, many dishes also have a version with tofu, which is really delicious. However, the “beer benches” do not necessarily invite you to linger for a longer period of time. There are also many seats with backrests. You may wish to do this when reserving if you have it on your back or are a little too big for the beer table set.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen - vielleicht der Service eine Spur zuviel in Form von etwas aufdringlich., aber trotzdem sehr nett.

제발 여기 가지 말아주세요. 들어가자 마자 설명도 없이 그냥 no no 거리면서 문 밖으로 밀치네요...ㅎ 아직 영업 중이었고 자리도 꽤 있었는데 왜 그런지 이해가 안 되네요 그냥 기분 너무 안 좋고 최악입니다.

I'm Vietnamese and I'm really happy to be here! The Pho Bo, Fried rice, and Che Chuoi are very delicious and authentic in my opinion. The waitor is friendly as well and he constantly checked whether everything is going well. Definitely recommend!!

Ich finde es unschön, wenn man vor der Begrüßund darauf hingewiesen wird, wann man das Restaurant wieder zu verlassen hat. Dann aber drei mal darauf hinweisen muss, dass man nun gerne bestellen möchte… Die Cocktails haben vermutlich nur neben der Alkoholflasche gestanden… denn geschmeckt haben wir keinen Alkohol Dafür waren die Getränke mit 9,50€ aber sehr teuer

Sehr leckeres asiatisches Essen mit gut gewürzten Saucen, ansprechend angerichtet. Wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen was angesichts des Gästeandrangs nicht selbstverständlich war. Wir wurden aufmerksam und freundlich bedient....auch die Inneneinrichtung hat uns gefallen.

My favorite Vietnamese in Munich, delicious dumplings, I can recommend the mushroom ones. The ambiente is also great and really unique. Only downside is that it is rather expensive

Das Lokal liegt schön zentral am Ostbahnhof. Das ist gut so, denn in der Nähe gibt es keine Parkplätze. Der Service war manchmal ein wenig überfordert, aber extrem freundlich. Und sehr lösungsorientiert! Das nachgelaufen Ver te zweite Essen wurde dann einfach eingepackt als doggy-bag😉. Das hat schon gepasst, denn Vorspeise plus Hauptspeise sind zusammen schon echt sehr viel! Ich hätte mir allerdings bei den Gerichten, die als scharf deklariert wurden, gewünscht, dass sie tatsächlich scharf im Sinne der asiatischen Zunge sind. Nichtsdestotrotz war alles frisch und lecker.

Tolles Essen, aber leider sehr ungemütlich und laut. Beim Eintreffen wurde gleich unhöflich auf „nur 2 Stunden“ hingewiesen. Länger hätten wir bei der Atmosphäre aber auch nicht bleiben wollen. Sehr schade!

Schade dass es im einst so innovativen Saigon Deli so ungemütlich geworden ist: zu voll, laut, weil Tische eng beinand, Service unfreundlich, ungeduldig und nach 75 min wurden wir gebeten, doch bitte zu zahlen und den Tisch frei zu machen ... gemütlich Essen ist seit einiger Zeit leider kaum noch möglich, auch im Saigon Deli.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in München! Warum? Jedes Gericht äußerst lecker, perfekt gewürzt und geschmacklich abgestimmt. Immer alles sehr frisch. Das Ambiente ist sehr besonders, ein Kurztrip nach Asien für einen Abend:-) Der Service immer freundlich, aufmerksam und das Essen kommt relativ zügig.

Einer unserer liebsten Vietnamesen in München. Tolles Ambiente und das Personal ist auch immer nett und zuvorkommend. Abends ist das Parken mit Glück verbunden, aber das ist ja fast überall in München so. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu euch.

Super gutes vietnamesisches Essen. Gute Portionsgrößen und schöne Einrichtung

An sich war alles super. Guter Service, gemütliche Atmosphäre und Essen. Jedoch war das Essen nicht ganz das was auf der Karte war. Z.B. sollte Gericht 34 Zitronengras und Zwiebeln haben, aber es war noch einiges mehr dabei. Das hat uns verwirrt. Bei mir, Gericht 33, stand nicht das es scharf ist.

Das Essen im Saigon Deli ist sehr gut, auch der Service und das Ambiente hat gepasst. Schade nur, dass man nach 2 Stunden den Tisch räumen muss, weil er anderweitig vergeben ist. Aber das ist in München leider Usus.

Schmeckt alles vorzüglich. Bedienung ist höflich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Tolles Restaurant, sehr leckeres Essen, auch gute Auswahl an veganen Speisen und freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Wir waren etwas zu früh, was aber kein Problem war. Man hat schnell und unkompliziert einen Tisch, der gerade frei wurde, für uns gefunden. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich gleich nach Vietnam versetzt. Alles sehr authentisch. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, die Auswahl der Gerichte gut. Es kamen gleich die Getränke und nach einer kuren Wartezeit auch das Essen. Die Gerichte waren toll angerichtet und sehr ausgewogen gewürzt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und super lecker! Unbedingt mal den Lachs probieren. Mein Lieblingsvietnamese in der Gegend.

The good is good, even if there could be more vegetarian/chay options, but it’s just too expensive for what you get (three normal dumplings for eur9.0 kind of expensive).

I come to this place often, and I like the food, but I only do take-out now because of the terrible service quality. As others have noted, two of the waiters always treat customers in an unwelcoming way. They do not smile, they get things wrong because they don't take the time to listen properly and they don't apologize, but insinuate you gave them the wrong order. Others have had even worse experiences, so I recommend reading those comments as well. My recommendation: Do not bring friends or partners here if you want to have a nice dinner out. Haidhausen has better experiences to offer.

Overall not bad. Pho is okay. The place closed late which is great when I arrived late in the date. I was surprised they don’t offer take out when I need to buy some take out for friends in the hotel who are just too tired to go out.

Das Restaurant ist total klasse, es besteht die Möglichkeit sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sitzen zu können. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Auch das Essen ist sehr lecker! Die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam und sehen sofort, wenn etwas fehlt oder man die Karte gelesen hat. Sind aber auch nicht aufdringlich!

This is a gem of a find in Munich. Delicious food with fast service. Big portion on their main dishes and is enough to be shared. The name Saigon Deli could make it sounds like a deli shop but this is a restaurant. I would suggest just naming it Saigon.

Das Saigon Deli ist einfach wunderschön gestaltet und das Essen ist sehr sehr gut! Auch für Veganer*innen gut geeignet! Liebs.

The ambience and food is just great. The BAOs and Dumpligs are delicious. Portions for the main course are great and they are absolutely delicious. Service is also great but the waiters could put a little smile on their face a d could be more engaging otherwise great place.
