I ate there today and am now in the hospital with suspected food poisoning, just thinking about the food makes it come back to me🤢 I don't recommend it to anyone at all unless you really want to end up in the hospital with unimaginable stomach pain, nausea and other symptoms

We ordered picav with chiken butter and fried vegetables, it was delicious.

In my opinion, the food was not edible and there was always an acrid smell in the nose that gave me a headache. The plates and tables were dirty as well as the cutlery. Although everything happened quite quickly, it was still quite unpleasant there. The food doesn't sit well in my stomach at all.

We come from Hamburg and whenever we are in Berlin we make a detour here because it is really worth it. Unfortunately, we don't have any really tasty Indian restaurants, so we're always happy to come here. The food is very tasty and the service is also great. I've been a customer of yours for several years, but I've been disappointed several times, although I've always said it might have been a bad day. No, today was a bad one. I got the most disgusting chicken korma from you with the most disgusting rice, the rice was so soggy and so mushy that it just tasted disgusting. I would like to say about the chicken korma that it has neither spices nor taste, it's simply a chicken mixed with curry sauce and nuts, which only tastes like something but nothing like it looks. The waiters were very nice, they changed the rice 3 times because I don't know that from you, but after the 3rd I gave up. Having people like that in your kitchen is sad for you. I will avoid you for a long time and won't recommend you anymore!!

Very unprofessional disrespectful employees! I've eaten there a lot and today it happened for the third time. There was another event today, I had a hair in my food and I couldn't continue eating it because I was disgusted. I had only eaten a spoonful of it and saw it. It can be anything, hair from the staff, hair that fell on it while serving, etc. None of that is a problem as long as we can solve it respectfully among each other. Then I told the waiter and asked him to take it away. He then started discussing with me that no one had long hair (it was also short hair) and that I should show him where it was. Then I said I haven't measured the hair and can't say who it belongs to. A professional in the industry would have apologized for the inconvenience and the problem would have been resolved. Instead he argued with me and I simply said it doesn't matter, please take it with you. Because I didn't feel like discussing it. It was just pointless. He did so and sent another waitress with TWO glasses of shots, which they serve to each guest as a farewell after their meal. There were three of us at the table. ;) That was his way of showing that guests who are dissatisfied with something are not respected. This also showed how unprofessional Amrit’s staff is. I will definitely not eat there again and will organize my business lunch with colleagues elsewhere. Oh yes, he still charged the court.

An absolute must visit every time we are in Berlin. Is there better Indian food anywhere? Maybe, but I haven't found the place yet.

The waiters were consistently extremely friendly, especially to our children. A small complaint was handled extremely professionally.

There were 5 of us who ordered and eat comb really quickly and after 15 minutes the k waiter asks are you ready need the table I say you bird we have reservations for 2 hours didn't even eat and you want to clear it away it's a rip off I would advise everyone to go somewhere else where man gives guest time and Due Fanta wasn't even Fanta funny

A great restaurant with delicious food, in the middle of the Kreuzberg neighborhood. It's worth it.

The chicken was incredibly bad. It tasted like rubber. After I pointed it out to the waiter, he told me that it was supposed to be special. So if you like soft chicken that feels underdone, you should try it here. I definitely won't eat anything like that again.

We ate at Amrit yesterday as a group of 7 and were very disappointed with the quality of the main courses. Each of us ordered a chicken entree and all had the same experience in that the chicken tasted raw (rubbery consistency). After I told the waiter this there was no reaction.

I visited the reataurant for the first time, in a business trip. It's a big restaurant and he menu is very diverce and offers different levels of spiciness. however i would advice anyone who wants to taste Indian food to ask for the default level, otherwise you might get Indian food that does not taste much good. That's the mistake i made as to ask for a low spiciness level, however it did no taste that good. The waiters were friendly and did advice me well, I can't judge about the cleanliness, but as i looked from far away into the entrance to the cooking area and the cachier, the floor seemed wet and did not seem to be very clean. At the time i was there they put loud folk music which seemed to be a little bit noisy for a restaurant atmosphere, but maybe they're used to it that way or maybe it was an exceptional day.

We immediately got a table with 28 people. The food was delicious and the service was great!! Thank you!!

I was here one hour before closing, but man was the service great! And the food omg, the food tasted so good that I could have almost cried! I think Amrit at Potsdamer Platz should learn a lot from Amrit here at Kreuzberg. Thank god for blessing the chef with hands that prepared this delicious food. And the waiters were all so lovely and so friendly despite the late hour. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go to Amrit Potsdamer Platz again. This one is just a thousand times better.

We celebrated my birthday there on Saturday. Thanks to the staff, the atmosphere and the good food, it was a wonderful evening. Thanks to the restaurant team especially to the manager Vino.

Just amazing how quality can be delivered in such a pleasant, fast and yummy manner. The business lunch comes with tasty rice and crunchy salad and the main dish is just the right size and really good. Bravo !

This is One restaurant you can get ripped off . The Punjabi waiters womens so rude and keep ignoring desi people’s the food is expensive Af . they charges 4 euro for the Nan bread bottle of water cost is eight euro . Food is so bland and Test-less They are interested to sell their food for the German people not for typical desi . If that kind of service that give in America, the hotel is shut down within a few . Don’t go there . This place is joke.They charged us so much money but gave us very little food I regret coming here because it ruined me and my family’s good vacation because of their attitude.

I had a great experience here on the day before, at a surprise dinner party held for me! The food was delicious, (especially the lamb korma) and we had the most helpful host Dhanesh, who ensured our group had the best time possible! Would greatly recommend the restaurant for anyone wanting to try delicious Indian cuisine.

Service and the atmosphere was nice! But be careful if you have sensitive stomach :( Even if I like the foods, it makes me bad one day after. Brownie isn't delicious, just show. Mango drink isn't necessary.

Unfortunately, I discovered that not all of the guests had the same food. Today there was a special New Year's Eve menu and when I asked about a dish that wasn't on it, it was denied. I wanted Chicken Koma, accepted it, but other guests came and immediately got Chicken Koma. Do you have to have something specific or be friends with who?

While in Berlin we came across this restaurant by accident. We went inside because there were a lot of people sitting there, which convinced us that it must be tasty there. The waiter greeted us nicely at the door, which I thought was very nice. There was a friendly and very nice atmosphere throughout the restaurant.🥰 The prices are also cool. Food 🤔 We ordered biryani and Madras chicken and naan. And to my surprise, the chicken tasted like it was sooty with smoke. Biryani was tasty.

I really enjoyed the visit. The staff is super friendly and service-oriented. The food was also very tasty and rich. Above all, we didn't have to wait long for the food. What I also liked was that you could tip despite paying by card (many restaurants don't allow you to tip with a debit card). I thought it wasn't that expensive for my wallet. Nice smart lighting and cozy atmosphere. All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended. It won't be long before I pay Amrit another visit.

Went for their lunch menu and It's great each time. Great value and taste for price and leave always with stomach full. Last 2 times got also very good chai for free! Dhillon was a very pleasant waiter!

Absolutely wonderful! Yesterday we ate at Amrit again after a long time. A very good meal late in the evening, a treat! Food very well seasoned, fresh, tasty and rich, Drink well balanced, nice and refreshing pleasant service and cozy furnishings. Very tasty Indian restaurant, there are quite a few tables and we had no problems without a reservation. The dishes recommended on the menu are excellent, such as chicken tikka masala or lamb, and the Indian bread with butter and cheese to accompany is also good. Definitely my favorite of all Amrit locations! The food was delicious, well seasoned. Batura nice and fluffy, the salads crunchy, everything completely satisfying with a fantastic price-performance ratio! I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

It's weird. In the beginning maybe even two years ago it was very good but the food is lacking. I get my Chicken Karma to taste different every time. Service is nice without question. We had to have my friend replace the dish. ..

The chicken was like a sponge, so unreal, as if artificial. Sauces for dishes ok. Drinks too sour. The waiter who took the payment behaved at least strangely, patting me on the shoulder for absolutely no reason when paying by card. Really weird. The chicken breast meat was of very poor quality in all four dishes we had. The chicken meat had a rubbery consistency, suggesting it was just cooked in water rather than fried as usual. I have rarely eaten such bad Indian food

Murgh tikka is delicious, Lamb curry was average at best. The service staff are in a hurry to get you out of there. Limited menu options, no Lamb bhuna on the menu.

Okay I’m sorry that I have to write this because you were super nice. But this place takes authenticity to another level. A rat was 10 cm from my feet. Luckily I was done with my food otherwise I had lost the appetite and then it would have been difficult for me to pay. For the food if you complain about authenticity just don’t buy the tomato based curries and ask for spicy. Then it’s actually quite good.

Food: we had paneer and chicken, both were delicious, but both felt like the protein portions were light: all sauce, no protein. We also had the roti, and they literally gave us one piece of roti, cut in half for €3. Great food, low value. Also our cocktail didn't taste like there was alcohol in it. Service: service was fine, no complaints. Atmosphere: I didn't like that people were smoking in the dining area. I can literally smell their cigarettes as I ate.

A special experience. The waitresses are very friendly and calm. The food tastes really great and is plentiful. Prices are cheap for the food presented. The only negative thing I can think of is the noise there. But the entire package alone is worth the trip.

This morning, family members flew in all the way from Italy and we went for Amrit on our first dinner together. We were once again blown away by the efficient service, the quality of the food and customer service. Even one of our guests recommended to his friends to try Amrit. Dhillon also made our experience even more special with his kind demeanor. The toilets are also kept clean by the angel lady.

We visited Amrit in Potsdamer Platz last trip in Berlin but this time we visited this one in Kreuzberg and it was still good like last time! I really enjoyed their Indian food. It's super tasty. The staff was always super friendly. The atmosphere is always nice. And we were really just enjoying the food. Trust me if you visit Berlin, you shouldn't miss Amrit. They have many branches around the city. Just go try it! You'll love it🥺🥺🥺 Btw if you go in a rush hour on the weekend or something. You should book table in front. The restaurant is buuuusyyyyyyy.

Nice place to eat with friends, colleagues or family.

I thought the food was great, the service was always friendly and always on hand. Simultaneous, seamless service for 7 people. The only negative thing I found was the English music outside. It was too loud and we could hardly have a conversation at the table. At some point the music changed to Indian and was quieter, which fit the ambience much better.
