We were there on New Year's Eve with a reservation. The service was very friendly and attentive. There was an extra New Year's Eve card. We enjoyed it very much. The side dishes were also enough for us. :-) A rather high-priced restaurant. If you want to treat yourself to something, definitely a recommendation.

Unfortunately, my visit wasn't outstanding (which should definitely be the case given the price!) The steak had tendons in it (not possible!). Otherwise it was good. The side dishes are extremely small, which other people have already written here... so 1 side dish is definitely not enough. What's that supposed to mean?? You also had to buy each individual sauce separately. There was simply nothing to go with the steak unless you paid extra. In other comparable steakhouses you always get something with it: be it garlic bread, sauces, fries, etc... The gin and tonics are good, but really completely overpriced! 17 euros for a gin with Schweppes Tonic... What else can you say? However, the service was really good and always courteous. All in all, the concept could certainly be improved. We will no longer come here because of the price-performance ratio and would rather go to comparable other steak restaurants in Stuttgart.

Utterly fantastic! My wife and I had an incredible evening! Best steak I have ever eaten. And you get exactly what you ask for - if you want "black and blue" (basically almost raw), or you order medium rare, that is exactly what get. Quality cannot be topped. The gin selection (over 300 different gins)...unbelievable. Which brings me to the service. Also can't be topped! Outstanding. You simply had to say what type of gin you like, they give a recommendation (or you can leave it to them to decide, based on what you like)...matched perfectly. And at every step, they go above and beyond to make your meal a magical experience. I cannot recommend them enough! I know we will be back very soon!

Es war ein Geburtstagsessen und schon sehr lange im Vorraus geplant und reserviert. Die Anreise hierfür waren 100 km. Zunächst haben wir einen äusserst unattraktiven Tisch für 2 Personen erhalten. total in der Ecke , für Lilliputaner ausgerichtet. keine 50 cm Blick an die Wand, daneben Zugang zum Klo und Küche, kaum vorstellbar , dass 2 Teller auf dem Tisch Platz haben. Nachdem wir unsere Enttäuschung mehrfach kundgetan haben ( und es hilft uns leider nicht ,wenn als entschuldigung kommt dass viel los ist) wurde aber netterweise ein anderer Behelfstisch organisiert , der akzeptabel war. Die in unterschiedlichen Garstufen bestellten Rinder Filets wurden vertauscht.... nun ja ...kein Kommentar. Die bereits angegessenen Filets wurden dann einfach wieder ausgetauscht ... nun ja... für eine Lokalität in dieser Preisklasse hatten wir einfach mehr Professionalität erwartet. Das Essen selber war gut , aber mehr auch nicht. Ich benötige ein glutenfreies Essen. Leider waren die Allergen Ausschreibungen in der Speisekarte fehlerhaft. Es war keine einzige Soße als glutenhaltig ausgeschrieben. Zum Glück habe ich mich nicht darauf verlassen und habe nachgefragt. Und siehe da ALLE Soßen waren glutenhaltig. Ich bin mir irgenwie nicht sicher , ob sich die Verantwortlichen darüber bewußt sind , was für Konsequenzen diese Nachlässigkeit hat (Allergischer Schock, nicht nur bisschen unverträglich) Ich möchte anmerken , dass ich aus diesem Grund so gut wie nicht mehr essen gehe und dann eben enttäuscht bin , wenn es dann wieder in einem hochpreisigen Lokal schiefgeht . Sehr hohe Geräuschkulisse , sehr eng und hektisch, für uns leider keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre... wir kommen nicht wieder.

This is the best steakhouse in Stuttgart, it's not even close. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is excellent, and if your table isn't ready, enjoy a well made cocktail from the bar. The surf and turf is some of the best I've ever had, the lobster tastes fresh, and the steak was perfectly cook with a delicious bernaise sauce. The spinach and au gratin potatoes are the best sides to get. The desserts are enjoyable also. If you're not a gin drinker, they have other options as well, so don't let that deter you. I highly recommend this place if you're going out for steak, I know I'll be back many times.

Locale spettacolare, dove mangiare dell'ottima carne, consigliata la porterhouse di grandissima qualità e tenerezza. Molto buona anche la tartare. Apprezzati tantissimo i consigli sugli abbinamenti tra cibo e gin. Unica pecca, il costo dell'acqua che in rapporto al gin è veramente eccessivo.

I wanted to treat myself to something for my visit to Stuttgart. Because I was craving steak, I came across the restaurant. The plus point here was that I also like to drink gin. So meat and gin are a perfect combination. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and the meat/gin somelier introduced himself. I had a gin recommended to me twice and both hit the mark in terms of taste. I ordered the Tenderloin 200g Rare. It was a hit in terms of cooking and taste. I found the side dish tasty, but nothing special. But it's ok here, as the piece of meat should be the focus. The crowning finale was the delicious dessert. Finally, briefly about the setup. Old-fashioned furnishings, but fits perfectly into the concept. I'd love to come back. 🤘😋 Update: Was in Stuttgart again today and there. Everything as usual. Service friendly. Food delicious

The experience could have been better for sure !! the place is small, we were seated where everyone walked by to go use the restroom. The waiter knew we did not speak German therefore he proceeded to push on what we should order, @ one point the waitress working with him was trying to suggest different appetizers, but the male waiter shut her down & said “Nein” then started speaking German to her. We bought three bottles of wine, appetizers, main course & overpriced side dishes (to be honest we did not need ) but the waiter insisted again. Service was okay, definitely NOT great especially for the amount of money we spent! Most of the food they brought( side dishes were untouched because he gave us way too much of the same thing in different bowls). We have lots of family and friends coming from overseas to visit & I’m not sure this restaurant would be the first place I recommend. For this price you can find restaurants in Stuttgart with much better quality and service!

Friendly service and good steak. You really can't complain about that. The larger steaks are carved directly at the table by the team. But the prices are quite high, especially if, despite the already decent price for a steak, you have to pay over 5 euros for a tiny side dish. It is very narrow and was also very loud in the restaurant. The volume was due to the other guests of the evening, who spoke a lot and loudly and not necessarily to the ampoule. We only tried a gin, which was delicious, but then we really wanted to get outside again.

Unfortunately the quality of the food and service has declined significantly. The spare ribs were okay, the Caesar salad was little for the price and the dressing was no Caesar dressing. Unfortunately, the side dishes weren't good either, the spinach had hardly any seasoning and was very bland, and there were far too many peppercorns on the beans. The service was inattentive and we sometimes had to wait a long time. We used to love coming here, but now we'll unfortunately have to look for an alternative.

Rather higher expectations due to the many contributions, but unfortunately it didn't work: cooking points were wrong on two steaks and the quality was no better than Maredo & Co. Sauces are convinience and the starters also lack composition (Cesar salad is not quite there functions). Overall too expensive for that.

Unfortunately, in 2 of 4 meat dishes the cooking point was clearly off, but in 1 it was still acceptable. The completely undercooked beef fillet could be “processed”. Unfortunately, the porterhouse was completely overcooked and therefore inedible - unless ordered that way - and was almost completely returned. Annoying for both sides. Strong reaction from the restaurant manager, the bill wasn't included and he didn't say anything nice either. Unfortunately very limited space. The “gin thing” on the side was cool, but we were primarily there to eat. It's a shame that there are such non-cook days even in this price category.

We were here for a work dinner. Being a large party; the service was good. The steaks were SO good - tender, juicy, perfectly cooked! As a table, we ordered all the sides and had 'family style' in which we passed everything around. There was plenty of food to go around. The gin drinks were delicious and they really do have the art down. A few of us even had dessert, which were very tasty as well. I can't wait to go back here, and I definitely will.

Leider ein sehr negatives Erlebnis! Wir hatten das Gefühl nicht Willkommen zu sein. Hatten auch bei der Reservierung angegeben, dass es ein Geburtstagsessen war, wurde aber einfach ignoriert…keinerlei Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses…hätten auch dafür gerne bezahlt… Sehr langsamer und unaufmerksamer Service, die teuren Steaks waren nur lauwarm, der Ceasar Salat war nicht wirklich frisch und mit einer Vinaigrette angemacht, alle Beilagen waren sehr salzig….generell hat einfach die Liebe gefehlt. Hatten mehr erwartet, werden nicht wiederkommen und werden das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Mit so einem eingesessenen Namen und vor allem gastronomischen Aufgebot in Stuttgart eigentlich schade und traurig…

Incredibly unique establishment! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. The gin list was the most extensive collection of gin I’ve ever seen & our steaks were excellent. First I would like to mention the positives before I list the negatives. The service in the steak restaurant “Ampulle” was very polite and hospitable. The 600g rib-eye was fried to perfection. Unfortunately, that was it in terms of positive points. It was the first time in the vial for me yesterday. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was irritated that guests were allowed to smoke at the bar. An absolute no-go, the restaurant seats are 2m away. There is a sliding door, but it was open all evening. You eat in the smoke!! The side dishes were also cold and just average (beans and sweet potato fries). The rump steak was served cold, unfortunately the temperature wasn't any better on the second attempt. The 300g filet mignon was never 300g, after mentioning it during service it was very nice brought another piece of meat. In this price range, I expect that the meat is served to perfection and that the side dishes are harmonious. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right either. Too expensive for the criticisms. The smoke was the biggest point of criticism. Unfortunately, the first and last visit to the ampoule!!

Absolute class! If you like gin you will love this place. Plus first-class food. The ambience is special, even if everything seems a bit cramped. The service is great, friendly and accommodating. The two of us ate there and drank two gin and a bottle of water each. With more than 300 gins to choose from, you are really well advised to have something recommended. And the advice is really very good! We'd love to come back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend in der Ampulle verlebt. Die Spareribs waren der Hammer. Allein bei leichter Berührung des Knochens fiel das Fleisch ab. Das Rib Eye war auch super. Durch die tolle Fleischqualität war es auch nicht schlimm das das medium bestellte Fleisch als medium rare serviert wurde. Die Creme brûlée mit weißem Schoko Eis war auch sehr, sehr gut. Und als eigentlich nicht Gin Trinker wurde mir ein super Gin Tonic empfohlen. Alles in allem war ein zwar teurer aber toller Abend

Wer gerne ein Steak 🥩 zum Essen mag, ist hier gut beraten und versorgt. Super gutes Fleisch. Gegart auf den Punkt . Tolle Beilagen , ich habe mir das Gratin bestellt , super lecker. Für einen Platz im Lokal sollte man vorher reservieren, denn das Platzangebot ist sehr beschränkt. Das Personal ist nett, freundlich und schnell zu Diensten. Es lohnt sich .

Marius is a real asset at the bar. He likes to share his knowledge about gin and some interesting stories about gin with his guests without being intrusive. Tanja and Antonio were also very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The four of us had a wonderful evening and will be happy to come back.

Food really, really good! However, the price is really extremely expensive, so if just the meat costs €170, then that's too much at some point. Final price for 4 people drinks, starter, main course: €312 So it was delicious but we won't come back :).

Preise unverschämt. 20€ für eine 200g - Minisalatportion - WOW! Spareribs waren lauwarm - das offene Feuer, in dem sie gegrillt werden wollten, scheint wohl sehr weit weg von der Küche gewesen zu sein, Cole Slaw und Kartoffelgratin kamen meiner Meinung nach direkt aus dem Eimer. So hat es jedenfalls geschmeckt. Laden sehr staubig und insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen. Auch der ganze Dekoramsch macht es nicht gemütlicher. Der Mann im Service hat uns mindestens 4 mal gefragt, ob er dieses oder jenes nicht vergessen hätte, da könnten Zettel und Stift vielleicht mal durch moderne Geräte ersetzt werden. Man kann by the way auch auf charmantere Weise verkaufsfördernd arbeiten ohne den Leuten unangenehm auf den Sack zu gehen. 😉 Einzig die junge Dame im Service, die leider nicht für uns zuständig war, sich aber dennoch um uns gekümmert hat, war ein Lichtblick. Alles in Allem eine Erfahrung, die ich mir lieber erspart hätte.

Das essen war sehr sehr lecker, leider waren die bestellen Süßkartoffeln eher kalt, wir haben aber auf Anfrage rasch wärmere erhalten. Die werden wohl im Backofen zubereitet, deshalb kein knuspriges aufwärmen möglich. Im Gastraum waren die Tische sehr eng gestellt, da würden wir uns für die Zukunft etwas mehr Raum wünschen. Eher dann einen Tisch rausnehmen. Ich konnte nur mit Vorsicht mit streifen der Tischdecke mich auf die Bank setzen.

Wir waren an einem Mittwoch da und hatten zu Essen die Spare Ribs, kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Fleisch war butterweich und hat sich ganz leicht vom Knochen gelöst. Der Geschmack war hervorragend, auch der Coleslaw war sehr lecker. Die Menge hat gut gereicht um satt zu werden. Ich musste trotzdem die Crème brûlée probieren, auch sehr lecker ! Zu trinken hatten wir Gin Tonic ausgesucht auf Empfehlung, ein Volltreffer. Wir kommen wieder

We recently visited the ampoule for the first time and were immediately greeted in a friendly manner. The ambience is very nice. Overall, our food was good, but unfortunately we weren't necessarily satisfied at the end. The pricing overall is not without its price. 50 € for surf & turf (see photo) & small potato gratin for 6 euros. Unfortunately, we weren't full afterwards and had to treat ourselves to some fries in the fish laboratory, which I can recommend by the way ;) Joking aside, but... What also shocked me a little was a 0.33 liter Wulle in a swing-top bottle for €4.90. It's probably the much talked about inflation. 0.5 liters for €5 are now absolutely fair and common. But if I want to drink a Wulle, I can also mingle with the students in front of the Mata Hari. If I want to drink a beer in a finer restaurant, then it can be a suitable beer.

2nd time I was there, the gin bar. I Love.. So much On the first visited I had a rip-eye and 2nd visit I had a rump steak I told them to add more sessioning but the Steak served was tasteless..again. Not juicy to me... Sorry.

If you could have given the kitchen stars, it would have earned 5 stars. The service was not satisfactory because 4 different operators were responsible for us and communication with each other did not work. This was then emotionally transferred to us guests. When the side dishes were served with the meat, the meat was already cold. Drinks were served incorrectly and sometimes simply forgotten. Attempts were made to limit the damage with apologies. With a location like this and its prices, I expect a lot more professionalism. Children who jump around the room are rewarded with gifts and guests who pay a large amount are inadequately served. It's a shame that our experience didn't live up to expectations. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone else. There are much better substitutes in Stuttgart. As a gin and beef bar, it's not enough to offer more than 100 different types of gin. Cocktails and actual technical knowledge would have been desirable. It's a shame we were used to better things from this place. Nevertheless, a good start to 2024. Last but not least, the tartare and the truffled sauce were very, very tasty.

Very tasty meat dishes to choose from. We had beef fillet and ribeye steak with a side dish and side salad. The side salad was no longer completely fresh, the beef fillet was tasty but not as tender as we already had it. The steak wasn't quite medium and the Béarnaise sauce was more of a Hollandaise sauce that contained a maximum of homeopathic doses of chopped tarragon, which belongs in there. Despite these compromises, the food was very good and tasty, but only 4 stars, especially at the price level. The service was very good, always friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is very cozy. We'd love to come back!

We are really lucky to find this place in Stuttgart. Starters, main courses, gins, everything was great. There were 6 of us, we each ordered different starters and main dishes. Every dish we ordered was truly delicious. There are no words for the Gins anyway :) The waiters were very attentive, explained our choices and gave great guidance. And even though we ate and drank a lot, we paid a very normal bill. It is really recommended👍🏻

Tolles Restaurant und Gin Bar. Es hat eine sehr sehr große Auswahl an Gin. Falls man sich nicht entscheiden kann wird man sehr gut beraten und auch bei Vorlieben wird darauf eingegangen. Fand ich super aufmerksam. Das Essen war auch klasse. Hatte passend zum Mittwoch spare ribs und die waren lecker und gut. Das Brot dazu fand ich super lecker. Kollegen von mit hatten eunen Burger und eim Filet. Beide waren sehr zufrieden. Die Qualität des Essens ist super. Preislich passt es zur Qualität. Werde definitiv wieder kommen. Ich war erneut in der Ampulle und war sehr begeistert von der Professionalität der Bedienung. Auch das Essen war wieder klasse! Hatte den Salat mit Rinderstreifen, die sehr zart waren. Dazu noch einen Kartoffel gratin. Der klasse war.

Wir haben uns im Akeno sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Da wir sechs Personen waren, konnten wir auch sechs Gerichte probieren. Alle waren köstlich, die Portionen (für Stuttgart unüblich) sehr groß. Es war ein schöner gemütlicher Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
