We had dinner here on our wedding anniversary – and it was simply wonderful! The food was incredibly delicious: the gyro was beautifully juicy, the tzatziki wonderfully creamy and flavorful. We finished off with a dreamy lava cake – a perfect ending! The portions are very generous, so you're guaranteed to go home full and happy. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly welcome and service. The food was tasty, but I don't think it was great value for money. The portions are very manageable, so you won't feel full. Card payments are not accepted.

The food at Santorini was of good quality – fresh and well-prepared. However, the taste had little to do with authentic Greek cuisine. The gyro was made with chicken, and the spices were completely different from what you'd expect from a traditional Greek restaurant. The appetizer platter was tasty, but definitely overpriced for what was offered. Overall, it was okay, but anyone expecting authentic Greek food will be rather disappointed here.

Not recommended; the food was dry and the prices were way too high. There wasn't even a qouzo to welcome us or at the end. Card payments weren't accepted either. Never again.

We each had an Aphrodite plate and were initially very disappointed by the amount of meat. It was dry and tasteless. The price for this dish was ridiculously inflated; every snack bar offers better quality and at least twice the quantity for half the price. Never again!

Small portion, no salad, just lettuce leaves with a spritz of dressing, barely any flavor, very small, thin schnitzels. I find it very expensive and small. Normally, you leave a Greek restaurant feeling full, but that wasn't the case here. Only visit if you're a little hungry.

Went on a solo trip for the first time and felt immediately at ease upon arrival. Very friendly man! I'd also read that only cash was accepted, but I only have my card. So I told him I only had a card and hadn't noticed. So PayPal is perfectly fine too. He laughed and gave me a high five. Very pleasant service.

I was completely thrilled with my visit to this Greek restaurant. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I received a warm welcome as soon as I entered. The food was a real treat and completely won me over. The tzatziki was perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh. I was particularly impressed by the liver, which was so tender and aromatic that it melted in your mouth. The pasta dish was also delicious and perfectly prepared. Every bite was a little culinary highlight. My special requests were fulfilled without hesitation, which made me very happy. The kitchen here truly shows attention to detail. My dog was also warmly welcomed and even given fresh water. The overall ambiance was cozy and inviting. You feel like a valued guest here, not just a customer. I have rarely experienced such hospitality. I will definitely return and warmly recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of a seaside vacation, with a terrace full of blooming geraniums – cozy, inviting, and full of loving details. The food was a dream: fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. I particularly want to highlight the gyro meat, which was tender and juicy, as well as the wonderfully creamy tzatziki – just like in Greece! The portions are also generous, so you're guaranteed to go home full and happy. The service was attentive, quick, and always with a smile – you can feel the passion that goes into their work. In conclusion: If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine of the highest quality, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be back – and bring friends!

Very disappointing. Small portions at a hefty price. We wanted to eat inside, but that wasn't possible because a private party was supposed to come, but they didn't show up all evening. The first Greek restaurant that didn't have any olive oil or vinegar on the salad, just a run-of-the-mill dressing from a packet. Even the standard ouzo you usually get at Greek restaurants wouldn't have made up for that. We didn't get a bill or receipt either. Not recommended. 👎

We received a very friendly welcome. We had a Metaxa cream sauce dish with rice and salad. The salad consisted mostly of lettuce leaves. The sauce was very tasty. As a vegetarian, I ordered the warm appetizer platter with a small portion of fries. The platter consisted of two pieces each of zucchini, bell pepper, and eggplant, which were more than fried in oil; they were covered in oil. The tzatziki was served in a bowl about 4 cm in diameter. Tasted okay, but the portion was comparatively small. We had to pay €6.50 for the side dish of fries plus mayonnaise, which I didn't order. Definitely the first and last visit.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio in this restaurant is not right. The food is well presented but unfortunately you don't get full, and this is a Greek restaurant. Romaine lettuce is used as a large filling side dish on the plates. I can't recommend the salad with gyros to anyone. A mountain of romaine lettuce, onions, 2 peppers, 2 olives, 2 slices of cucumber and half a tomato. Very reasonable for 17.50 euros. Criticism was not accepted; instead, the guest is asked to order whatever they want. I name the business model. After 6 p.m., tzatziki was only available for main courses. More than outrageous. There were 8 of us guests, very disappointed, and we won't be going there again.

Our group's spontaneous reservation worked out without a hitch, and we all had a wonderful evening. We received excellent service and delicious food. We even got a bowl of uzo on the house. Highly recommended.

If there were no stars to award, we would. Tiny portions. Even we women weren't full. The mixed salad was a mockery. 17.50 euros for half a head of lettuce, 1/4 tomato, and 2 slices of cucumber. If you complain, you get a salad customer, no understanding or friendly cooperation. The starter arrived when everyone else's main courses were being served. My husband had to eat alone because his food arrived when everyone else had already finished. There was no extra tzatziki, only with the corresponding dishes. We have never experienced anything so bad on all our tours. We canceled our subsequent reservation immediately.

Yesterday, the two of us rode past on our motorcycles and spontaneously stopped to eat. One day later, I read all the bad reviews here. I'm honestly shocked. We had the opposite experience. My son had a gyro plate for 18.50, I had an Artemi plate for 20.50, the salad was crisp, and the tzatziki was just as it should be. Both were of very good quality, freshness, and flavor. Beautifully presented and served. The price is typical Mosel price, and not overpriced. I didn't read everything on the menu. Paid with a receipt; perhaps there would be more customers if card payments were possible! I'm writing this in such detail because things have probably changed for the better. I can only recommend it and would gladly go back.

Dry and a bit chewy gyros, nothing spectacular. Mini chicken skewers, and still a good price for asking. Do they also have burgers on the menu? Interesting menu, I must say. It's edible, but I've had better dishes elsewhere.

The tzatziki isn't even enough for it. I ordered more tzatziki and paid an extra €5.50 for a small amount. The waiter was extremely nice and very attentive.

We were denied a table inside for lunch on a rather mixed day with the excuse "private party," so we lingered in the drafty outdoor area in the beginning drizzle while waiting for the unappealing and already stale food. The waitress felt he had to mutate into a "break clown" by constantly idling around the sparsely occupied tables with some kind of "you..." remark. Annoying! His statement "inside is a private party" was proven wrong when we visited the restroom, as we could see into the dining area. It was a yawning emptiness and not a soul... so what's the point of such false guidelines? You welcome guests differently if you want them to come back! Nobody needs that!

No...the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. The bread was stale and toasted. When I asked, I was told something like, "We always do it like that." When I asked why there was no befetki, I was told it was a winter dish... But when I find spaghetti and Jägerschnitzel and..., I wonder, am I really at a Greek restaurant?? Criticism rolls off my back...not even...some kind of compromise... I was really looking forward to Greek food and was very disappointed...

Well, we haven't been here in quite a while—almost five years to be exact. A lot has changed since then, unfortunately not for the better. It's a shame, we won't be coming back anytime soon—maybe in five years...

Very tasty food and great service

It was a lovely visit for us. We personally booked a table and sat outside. The food was delicious. At the end, we were treated to a glass of ouzo on the house. What we often see on the Moselle is that it's cash only – as is the case here.

So we were extremely disappointed. €60 for a plate for two. The salad had no dressing. Very little tzatziki, and the meat was bland and tasteless. Once, never again.

Absolutely not! We just wanted a small appetizer and a drink. We weren't allowed to. We each had to order a large appetizer, otherwise we wouldn't have been allowed to sit there! My husband was about to leave the beer garden, but we were persuaded by this unfriendly waiter! The large appetizer was an absolute joke!!! And that was €13.90 per person plus drinks! You never stop learning!

Dry and partially blackened gyros, the skewer was a joke, and you had to hunt for the steaks. The service was neither receptive to criticism nor willing to accommodate customer requests. A lot of money for bad food. After the criticism, there was no ouzo either.

Very tasty food at a good price

We were on our way home on May 18, 2025, and stopped here for a short while. From the outside, the restaurant looks okay. The inside is new, but the atmosphere is cold. The service was friendly. We ordered beef liver. The food arrived relatively quickly. On the plate was the liver with fried onions, coleslaw, and French fries. Nothing more. Back in the Lower Rhine area, we would have added some tzatziki, a pepperoni, and a Kalamata olive. Oh well. The liver tasted okay. However, it was diced and tough, and cooked too long. The coleslaw was like a Metro. The only thing that tasted good and was okay were the fries. We each ordered a portion of tzatziki. That was also a disappointment. It tasted so strongly of garlic, it almost burned my tongue. I'm not sensitive, but it was too much. For us, the restaurant was and is NOT recommended.

I would eat there again anytime. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive at all times. It's clear that someone enjoys their job.

Simply delicious and freshly prepared

Rhodes salad, a bit of leaf lettuce, two small pieces of tomatoes, three sticks of pointed pepper cut lengthways, possibly a spoonful of corn. Approx. 40 gr. chicken and a mushroom steamed. Outrageous. Not even cabbage or a dressing.

Good food, friendly service, plenty of parking. Make sure you have cash with you (also indicated on the first page of the menu).

This afternoon I walked past this restaurant where only 2 tables were occupied. We only wanted something to drink but that was not possible, said the waiter (owner?). Okay, then we'll move on, but he did want to make an exception for us. To pay I walked in, even with 2 empty coffee cups, but then the waiter grumbled about the small piece of dirt that came out from under my shoe. When paying in cash (this is neatly stated), the waiter claimed that he had no change. We had to pay 16.80 for 2 cups of coffee, 1 coke and 1 apple juice. Because he claimed he had no change (which is of course strange if you have to pay in cash), this became 20 euros. In short, if you have to earn your money in such a way; bit sad.

I ordered a Rhodes pan and a mixed salad to pick up here today. I have to honestly say that for €36 it was by far the worst meal I've had in a long time :-( Small portion, very poorly packaged and the taste was average at best. And there should also be a real receipt instead of writing two prices on a scratch slip.

Great and delicious Greek restaurant

Unfortunately, we don't have much positive to say about this restaurant. First of all, when I arrived at the restaurant, the rooms were cold, so I had to leave my jacket on. When we asked the service, she told us that the heating had already been switched to summer time (it is April and a rainy, cool day). The boss isn't there and she wouldn't be able to use the fireplace as an alternative. At this point there was no coziness or atmosphere. The view of the Moselle didn't make up for that either. The portions were too small and expensive in terms of price-performance ratio. The skewer, meat and gyro portion on the grill plate was a joke. The skewer and meat were way too small. When we asked, the waitress told us that so far the guests were happy with the portion size. Well, what can I say. All in all, it can only be recommended.

The man at the reception that did not even speak Greek had some strange attitude, asked what "we were looking for" and finally were allowed without a reservation to have a table next to the entrance since every other table, except 2 that had already guests, were reserved. The funny think is that nobody else came until we left shortly before the restaurant would close. The manners of the service remained polite disguising an unjustified depreciacion towards us. Unfortunately it was our only chance to get something to eat in that village. The food was good, nothing special but fine. I didn't like the atmosphere but the view to the river is certainly nice.

My girlfriend and I spontaneously stopped at lunchtime today and asked if there were two seats available without a reservation. This was promised to us very kindly. The waitresses were extremely friendly, the food was plentiful (plates couldn't be finished, the portion was so large) and very good. We were very satisfied.

Unfortunately not. Price-performance ratio is not right. Paid €36.50 for 2 desserts, 2 coffees and 1 water. Dessert was ok. Service was very nice and quick. Too bad!

Prices too expensive. The size of the meat dishes listed is laughable. The skewer, the pork steak and the large pork fillet is generally only 2 cm in size and has a maximum weight 20 grams😂. Ridiculous for the price of €25 Every kebab shop is better. Bad hospitality. Only cash payment without mentioning it. That has nothing to do with a good restaurant. Not recommended, rip off.

We arrived at that time and everything had been reserved. Fortunately, a couple was just leaving so we still had a spot. The host was very nice, the food was delicious. The decor is simple but is brightened up with wall art. Definitely something for us to come back to.

Everything is fine and looks delicious

If out of 10 meals the gyro is ice cold in 9 meals, you start to wonder what's going on in the kitchen. In any case, it wasn't because the restaurant must have been full because 2 x 4 people came to eat while we were there. The tzatziki consisted mainly of garlic which made the whole thing extremely spicy and unpleasant. The portion of spaghetti and also the salad were a joke. Overall the food was very disappointing and overpriced. I also wonder why you don't get a proper invoice with everything listed when you pay. No, you get a handwritten note with a total of the starters, drinks and main courses. It is not possible to check whether the number of things you have ordered or the total of the individual items. The service itself is very good and friendly. But since we didn't book a solo entertainer, but rather delicious food, our priorities were missed here. For €420 we really expected something better.

If the Greek is not Greek. I've experienced a lot in my life, but I've never come across a meal like this. I don't understand the good reviews here either. Many people who don't know original Greek food. The food is at snack level at restaurant prices. If I want to offer Greek food, then I should also deal with its culture and eating habits, because what I had on my plate had nothing to do with Greece. Giving out ouzo and shouting Jámas does not make you Greek. I also don't want poor-quality kebab meat on my plate that has been missed on the spit. The friendliness and the constant running from table to table made me totally nervous. Then it was terribly cold in the restaurant. Radiators were available, but turned off because you think the pellet stove in the entrance area would heat the entire area. Of course, we addressed our criticism of the food personally, in a friendly manner, on site. I would have liked to leave a positive review. One star because I have to.
