The food was delicious, the staff was super nice and the dessert was amazing!

The food was very tasty, but the amount of meat left a lot to be desired for the price. Artemis plate: Gyros ok, pork skewer consisted of 3 cube-sized pieces of meat (the size of dice) and "chicken breast" about the size of a loin but only half as thick. The second plate was chicken with Metaxa cream sauce with lots of onions; you had to look for the meat; portion size approximately children's plate. The price (with a coke and a beer) was €50 - absolutely not justified for the "amount" of meat. It's a shame, we can't recommend it. For me it's a rip off.

After a long journey, we were in front of the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. The young waitress greeted us as we got out of the car with the words “You are not allowed to park here”. I said we would like to eat there. He "It's closed, we open at 12 o'clock". Then the boss came and wasn't customer friendly either. So we drove again and didn't wait until 12 o'clock and preferred to leave our money somewhere else.

Great delicious Greek cuisine and a great atmosphere

The food was reasonable, the service was nice. Calculate in advance what you have lost, because you will see a few written amounts, and with your thumb on them they will show you the final amount and before you realize it you will pay 30 euros too much. We feel screwed afterwards. I say...find another restaurant.

It was our first time there and since we didn't have a reservation we couldn't eat there until later. But what can I say, the wait to get to our reserved table was completely worth it. The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The premises were also very clean and the service was simply great. I can only give it 5 stars out of 5. For us it was a delicious and good experience to be there.

If only I had read the other reviews first. Get very little for a lot of money. I had no idea you could cut pieces of meat so small. Never again.

Price performance is zero. Mini portion, especially the starters. Food cold. Just like the atmosphere. Only cash payment possible. This is very difficult to see. It's best to give it a wide berth. Too bad it has a nice terrace.

Food was ok, portions were a bit small. Owner served us and was very businesslike. He said he had a really great dessert and we should let ourselves be surprised. It would be something from his homeland. The surprise was Molleux au Chocolat with vanilla ice cream. It was new to me that French was spoken in Greece, but it was good. Of course, the best comes last. A handwritten note with a written sum as an invoice. The price was absolutely overpriced in my opinion.

As part of a trip for my wife's birthday, we went to Eltz Castle and then had dinner in Santorini. I ordered a Poseidon plate, which was ok, but unfortunately only lukewarm. My wife had the Santorini pan with rice. The menu also includes pork fillet with broccoli in Metaxa cream sauce and a side dish. Unfortunately, after a long wait, the apparently wrong food arrived. She was sitting in front of a plate filled with fries, lettuce leaves covered in grated dried parsley, and a porcelain bowl the size of my cell phone half-filled with sauce. We tried to complain, which wasn't that easy because the waitress was anything but friendly and wanted to ask in the kitchen first. Since the food arrived lukewarm anyway, it made little difference that we first served other guests and then, after what felt like an eternity, explained that the rice was out. My wife doesn't like fries and now she had to wait another 20 minutes until the rice was ready. The food would then have been completely cold. Substitution was out of the question because the waitress simply disappeared after the announcement. My wife picked at the food listlessly and then realized that it couldn't possibly be pork tenderloin. In the pan were fingernail-sized, fatty, gristly pieces of meat, which my wife tried and then spat out. It looked like leftovers had been dumped together. A single boccoli floret lay completely overcooked in the cold, skin-covered sauce, and there was massive amounts of vinegar on the salad, which made even the lettuce leaves inedible. Unfortunately the female waiter didn't come back and so she politely complained to the waiter. His fake, exaggerated friendliness immediately turned into aggression. He discussed it like he was at the bazaar, claiming that it was of course a pork fillet and that for €20.50 you couldn't expect anything else anywhere. He suddenly left and refused to talk to us any further. Fed up, I got up to pay at the cash register. Of course I refused to pay for my wife's meal. He replied that I should try that! I wanted to pay for our drinks and food, but they repeatedly refused to accept the money and insisted on the total amount, and they also didn't want to issue a receipt. Unfortunately, card payments are not accepted there (why?) so I put the generously counted money on the counter and recorded it as a video. We left the restaurant. We don't understand how a host can still get into such trouble after completely messing up a dish. No insight whatsoever, let alone an apology or even an attempt to make up for the mishap. Instead, threats and insults. We both left unhappy, my wife was still hungry and I was so upset that I bitterly regretted inviting my wife there for her birthday. One star is still too much of a good thing.

Stopped by shortly before the kitchen closed, service was super friendly, fast and charming, food was great - you've rarely had such a well-seasoned gyro. At the end the innkeeper gave us a glass of wine because we didn't have enough cash with us... Always happy when we are on the Moselle. However, the shop is now called Santorini - Greek cuisine. Was very happy there. I ate a Hungarian (gypsy) schnitzel with fries and salad there. Portion was plentiful. The owner (waiter?) was very friendly. Insisted a bit on a review (didn't tell me anything, just wanted me to leave a review), but given the negative reviews that are here, I can understand it. But I can't understand the negative reviews themselves. I enjoyed it very much. The fries could perhaps be a bit crispier, but the schnitzel was nice and thin and I'm very picky about meat😅 the sauce was also very tasty. I was skeptical about the bad review, but I'm glad I went to eat there. The guests around me, who had ordered something Greek themselves, also seemed very satisfied. If I wasn't just passing through (Mosel Camino), I would definitely have eaten here again 👍🏼 Friendly staff 👍🏼

A very nice restaurant and very fresh, delicious food with a great ambience

A Greek-style restaurant on the waterfront that is perfectly adequate in its category. Cute terrace with a beautiful view. The toilet is very clean and tidy. We had a nice lunch.

My wife and I went to Santorini for lunch. We were immediately struck by the beautiful and very well-kept ambience outside and inside with the flowers and lamps. We ordered two grill plates with extra tzatziki. The tzatziki is really delicious, really garlicky and fresh! The meat was very well seasoned and grilled tenderly. We tasted Greek cuisine here. For dessert we ordered 2 chocolate cakes, which were served warm with a great scoop of ice cream. We left the restaurant feeling plump and very full.

Stayed overnight and thought the place was charming. The room was spacious, quiet and very clean and comfortable. The people running the place are super welcoming and easy.

I can only advise against this restaurant. Artemis plate for €23.50 a handful of ready-made gyros/kebabs, a skewer with 3 small pieces of dry meat and a 5cm piece of turkey meat. Price/performance leaves a lot to be desired. My wife's starter was missing peppers. When asked, the eager service person went to the cook, who allegedly told him that peppers had not been delivered. 🤔 Don't tell the customer that before you bring the food. But the full price was paid. When it came to paying I asked if I could pay by card. I was shown a tiny little sign in the window. That there is only cash payment here. So please scan everything before you eat. I was then shown a handwritten invoice with the final total. Of course there was no receipt either... Thank God I still had enough cash with me. The only thing Greek about this store is the name. Santorini restaurant. Beware of rip-offs.

Unfortunately I didn't read any reviews before visiting the restaurant and therefore had to visit a second restaurant that evening to get my fill. The service was very friendly. The gyros is probably made from chicken and not pork as is typical for Greeks. Then it wasn't much for the money. I wouldn't recommend it now and wouldn't visit again...

Were here on vacation. Ate very well and had a fun evening. Our son J... had a lot of fun with the waiter.

The boss Ahmad is very accommodating and very friendly. The food was delicious and served hot. You will receive a friendly welcome. I'd love to come back.

Probably a new opening. We had a starter plate, a mixed salad with sheep's cheese and olives, which you could count, and fries. The portion was tranquil and extremely sparingly prepared. The price was completely excessive and was not in proportion to the size of the portions, as is actually the case with Greek cuisine. That's what's called usury. However, the service was very nice. We hope that this will change and that tourists will not have their money taken out of their pockets.

Went there for dinner on vacation. The prices are very high, the portions are a bit small, but tasty. Service was very nice.

I would advise everyone to really look for something else. The gyros resemble reheated gyros from Aldi, very greasy and not crispy, fries very salty. The best was the salad.. As my friend said: there is nothing Greek about this Greek. I had gyros with a pork skewer and chicken breast. The last two are so small that it seems more like a joke. Then again a company that only accepts cash. Incomprehensible (or maybe not)

A complete disaster!! The food was over-seasoned and the portions were far too small for the money. Long waiting time and the staff was not attentive (cutlery and glasses were forgotten). After the visit, we decided that we would rather cook Greek food at home 🤝

Stopped here for dinner. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. The prices are a bit higher, but you can bear that for the great view of the Moselle. A visit there is definitely recommended.

Was nothing. €13.50 for a starter with 2 pepper slices, 2 zuchini slices and 2 eggplant slices. Honestly...it's not a problem if you want to make money, but you don't have to be rude and rip off your guests. Definitely not again.

Small portions, we've never experienced anything like that, the boss served us himself, but he tried hard but was arrogant and arrogant. The price is very, very high, and this for very little performance. Can only advise against!!

July 26, 2024 Very high prices for very little food. €18.50 for a Giro plate that would hardly pass as a children's plate. Everything is quite salty. We waited for a relatively long time (4 people), even though only 3 other tables were occupied.

The welcome was very nice. When we ordered, the boss said that if he wanted he could throw us out if he didn't like something. Then the food came with really pitiful portions. Never again

Arrived here by bike and was immediately told that we had to move our bikes while there were other bikes in that spot. Starter too expensive for what you get. Main course ok but way too many herbs and salt on the fries. To finish, I ordered a cappuccino, but they only had regular coffee (while when you enter you can scan a QR code with the menu showing different types of coffee). When asking for the bill, we discovered that you can only pay in cash. Ok, this is indeed indicated somewhere very small and unclear. When we gave the friendly advice to verbally inform tourists in advance how you can pay, the owner rudely and haughtily replied that he did not think it was necessary. He was clearly not open to this heartfelt tip.

During today's visit, all the tables outside were full. Nevertheless, everything was clean and tidy. We ordered TO GO due to the full terrace. A total of two gyros plates and 2 schnitzels. The food came super quickly, the fries were crispy and the meat was juicy. Separately there is also salad. Everything was well packaged and as always friendly service. Gladly again and again!

Food (much) too expensive for what you get, as with other reviews, a cappuccino was not available and there was only 1 dessert available that also came from the microwave.

The food tasted really good. However the portion was really small. GYRO plate 18.90 € without getting full - that's really more than a shame. There was shockingly little gyro on the gyro plate. It would actually have been excellent as a children's plate. The service was very good. Fast, courteous and very pleasant. Located directly on the Moselle - really very pleasant.

Sorry, I never write anything bad but the quality of the meat is sublime. I would prefer not to give any stars but unfortunately that's not possible. I wouldn't even let the leftovers be packed up for the dog!

Delicious Greek food and a nice atmosphere and service

I recently visited the restaurant and loved it! The friendly service welcomed me straight away and accompanied me throughout the evening. The food was simply delicious – every dish was a hit! The atmosphere was very nice and I was particularly impressed by the outdoor area with the beautiful flowers. I can only recommend it, I will definitely come back!

The location is great, right on the Moselle! The chairs are chic...unfortunately uncomfortable, but if you put a second pillow on your back, it's fine. The boss is very nice and friendly, and is customer-oriented. The liver with coleslaw, fries and onions that my husband had was really tasty...as was my tzatziki (it was hot and I wasn't very hungry, so just an appetizer)...however I have NEVER had such a small one . Get a portion of tzatziki, after all 5.90€...moreover, the boss made a mistake in the billing to our disadvantage, which was only "discovered" when my husband asked for an invoice...that has a bit of a "taste"... Conclusion: that Food is delicious, but I think it's too expensive...I don't feel that good about staying there and probably wouldn't go there again...

Unsympathetic and rude man. Far too expensive for what is delivered. No original receipt, but a scrap to avoid paying tax. Begs for tips. We call that a tourist trap. Advice, move on to a better business.

Nice guy, attentive and (a little too) friendly. Unfortunately, the food is only nutritional, the preparation is unimaginative and lacks taste. On the one hand the location is great as it is close to the water, but of course the busy riverside road is a problem.

Juicy prices for small portions. We were there with about 16 people. I shared a platter for two people. At least that's how it was described, but I could have eaten the portion alone. Unfortunately, the portions for everyone at our table were so small that afterwards we had to have a kebab from another restaurant so that we didn't have to go to bed hungry. Unfortunately there are also a few discrepancies in the service. The gentleman who took the order (very friendly) tells us “remember the numbers of the dishes, the colleagues who bring the food don’t know the name and just call out the number”. No sooner said than done, everyone remembered the numbers as requested. Unfortunately, the colleagues came around the corner with the names, which was a bit stupid because everyone only knew the number and no longer the full name of the dish. Unfortunately, the waiting time was also very extreme at around 2 hours. Unfortunately, eating together was also not possible because it was said that the food would come in blocks. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case either. In summary, we were all unfortunately very disappointed with the restaurant

The food is very freshly prepared. The quality corresponds 100% to the price. I don't understand some of the reviews. Quality has its price and the corresponding quantity. With bad and cheap meat, you can definitely end up with an overloaded plate. We ordered the Greek grill plate, the quantity was sufficient and grilled very well. The terrace is very nicely decorated.

Always worth a visit, delicious food

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. Never been to such a bad Greek restaurant before: absolutely overpriced for small portions, not good in taste. When ordering the menu for gyros with 2 lamb chops, I pointed out that I couldn't eat pork, they said you could leave out the pork. So far okay, instead I only received 2 small, absolutely tough, overcooked (reheated?) lamb chops, a small portion of rice for the full price... An absolute disgrace. The additional platter for 2 people that we ordered was also extremely overpriced and disappointing. The service wasn't particularly nice. The Greek restaurant's expense on the house wasn't available either (with a bill of 115 euros for 3 people, no special drinks). Never this restaurant again. Next time I'll google reviews beforehand so that a mishap like this doesn't happen again. Particularly annoying because my husband and I had invited the third person and came over here spontaneously. We were downright ashamed.
