We were passing through and were absolutely thrilled. Good food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Homemade, delicious pizzas and omelets with exceptional toppings, spaghetti... We loaded up at the rest stop and ended up here thanks to the good reviews. We were sitting a bit dangerously. 😉

I've never experienced anything so unfriendly. We were there as a stopover, and it was the only restaurant accessible for people in heat. Google said "dogs allowed," so we headed out, and there was a sign on the door saying "no dogs." I sent my companion inside to ask again. First of all!!! I don't have a problem with restaurants not allowing dogs in. BUT!!!! It's the tone that counts. The probably extremely rude response was, "Yes, there's a lot of crap on the internet..." We were really annoyed by this statement. As I said, we don't have a problem if the dog can't come with us... But not like this!!!

We were at the campsite on our way from the Baltic Sea and got the recommendation for the Alter Sonnenhof. Very tasty food and nice service. In conversation with the landlord and owner, we learned that the old barn was completely renovated by ourselves. Very tastefully and beautifully furnished. We can only recommend it. A cozy, rustic inn! Only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, a small, fine menu, the food was simply a poem!!! Well-kept, hearty beers on tap and a great wine list. Great service, very nice and quick, and very friendly innkeeper, you immediately feel welcome. And the inn itself, amazing, quite inconspicuous from the outside, but inside... What a project, hats off! Also highly recommended for celebrations! See you soon :o))))) no card payment possible!!!

Sehr schöne Lokalität Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Kleine Speisekarte, aber gut.

Ansprechende Einrichtung, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service

Wir waren am 14.Mai dort essen. Was sollen wir sagen..... Bombastisch .... Das Gasthaus ist super eingerichtet. Man kommt sich vor wie in Österreich. Hell, freundlich und fast alles aus Holz. Die Toiletten erinnern an eine Berghütte. Die Inhaber samt Bedienung waren mehr als freundlich. Man hatte nach kurzer Zeit das Gefühl, als gehöre man zur Familie...... Das Essen..... Wahnsinn... Jede Woche wird die Karte neu geschrieben und alles wird absolut frisch gekocht. Unsere zwei Gerichte waren ein Traum. Wir können nur jedem empfehlen, der in der Nähe von Niederbeisheim wohnt, eine Pause- oder Urlaub macht, dort einzukehren..... Die Öffnungszeiten sind im Moment Freitag Samstag und Sonntag....... Wir werden auf der nächsten Reise auf jeden Fall wieder dort Halt machen ......

Wer ein tolles Ambiente, gutes Essen u d nette Gastgeber sucht, ist im Alten Sonnenhof absolut richtig aufgehoben! Ich war heute mit meiner Familie dort und bin total begeistert! Fazit: Nichts wie hin!! 👍👍👍

Angenehmes Ambiente, sowohl drinnen als auch hinten auf der Terrasse. Übersichtliche Karte (Corona bedingt?), aber dafür alles sehr frisch und hochwertig zubereitet. Wir waren an einem Freitag dort, da war Schnitzeltag. Man kann nur bar zahlen und es gibt keinen EC Automaten in der Nähe.

Rustikales Ambiente, familiäre Atmosphäre

Tolles Lokal zum Essen und Trinken , mann kann ganz gemütlich die zeit dort genießen. Das Betreiber paar und die Eltern sind glaube durch nix zu toppen, gerne wieder und viel Erfolg .
