The middle-aged blonde lady was very rude and racist. It was very unpleasant. Asians are never allowed to sit at tables.

If you are hungry you should go further

Everything was good and the waitress was very good even if she didn't give me her number...

I was served old, spoiled cider. The waitress refused to replace it. She was confrontational and insisted I pay. Something like that has never happened to me before in my life.

Great atmosphere. Old-fashioned bar with a terrace on Römer Square. Fairly affordable German food. Very good Flammkuchen cakes.

Everything you want in a bar - music, ambience, great food, lovely beers and service which is second to none. We loved it so much it became our go to stop off, and we were greeted so warmly like old friends. Despite being in the main square it was priced reasonably and worth every euro. We recommend this to everyone.

We wanted to eat here but the owner didn't want to serve us and claimed that a dress code was expected. We weren't even inside the restaurant but outside. That is discriminatory and especially at the CSD that is a no go. We are visiting here and had to experience this, so very disappointing. We thought Frankfurt was a tolerant city.

Came here in the first few hours of being in Frankfurt and returned a few times in our time in town. Great staff, good food, great service and drinks. Had the pizza here and what can I say. Thin, light, tasty and delicious. Staff are really good here. Best place in the town square to visit.

34e, (overcharged 6e more)with no reciept and sayed they brought the reciept on the table, Lol. Very poor food quality also. Only the spot is good but i would never sit there again

Found by chance it was a pleasant surprise. Historic place, fast service, good food, cheap and with a wonderful view of the central square.

Great place with reasonable prices, perfect location and friendly atmosphere. Here you can order local food which I highly recommend to learn the culture. And please don’t forget to drink Apfelwein. Highly recommend to all who visit or live in Frankfurt am Main.

Great place to eat sausages and Flammkuchen

We had a nice relaxing lunch of apple wein, sausage & kraut, & flammkuchen. Sitting outside listening to the street musician was a nice added touch.

A cozy place with a great location - the perfect place to stop by for a beer. The atmosphere is warm, reminiscent of a neighborhood bar where everyone is welcome. The waiters are friendly and attentive. Despite the cool weather, it was comfortable inside, and in the summer, the courtyard with plenty of seating is sure to be a great option for relaxing outdoors.

Would not recommend this place for tourists, received an arrogant attitude from the waitress before even ordering the food. She exclaimed harsh remarks in German as if we didn’t understand what she said.

Cider and sausages would be good. World class tarte flambée. Service pot.

Apparently they don’t take EC card because they “have internet problems…this is an old 150 y.o. house” in the middle of…..Frankfurt. They took my ID card and I had to go find an automat. I cannot possibly imagine any other reason for not accepting cards and only accepting hard cash.

The Flammkuchen is a must try here! Perfect setting to relax in the afternoon after a walk or tour

Flamkutchen was good but it was very wet. Some homeless guy came to ask cigarette and money. He was smelling terrible and ruined our romantic dinner.

One of the classics on Römerberg Square to have a sausage and a beer. Like all places in the area, the price is high. They also have mixed dishes and the service is friendly and professional.

The menu is simple, the dishes are good, the welcome is very friendly (this is rare in this type of tourist place) Prices are low

I had an amazing time at this bar – honestly one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. The vibe was perfect, the music was exactly my style, and the whole place just felt alive. This inn, with its lovely old-world charm and fantastic atmosphere, is highly recommended to anyone in Frankfurt. Alexandra, the landlady, is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Furthermore, the prices for food and drinks are relatively reasonable.

The atmosphere is really nice because of the location, it’s the old square of Frankfurt! The food was just OK, but nothing more, the apfelschorle was good tho. The staff was a bit rude, didn’t want to accept card payment at first!

Centrally located at the Romer. Their prices are great, you get affordable beverages and snacks. The Bembel, a jug of apple wine, is a specially good deal. The inside area is relatively small. They got more seating outside which is especially desired in the summer months. Had to wait long time for service though on a Monday. Have not been there on weekends..

Busy spot but my goodness the bread and sausage were fantastic! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, paired with Bockwurst omg, picture doesn't do it justice!

Small restaurant with ancient roots next to the Römer, with outdoor dining that offers a great view of the hustle and bustle on the Römerberg. There are hearty dishes and Frankfurt sausages. The Alsatian style tarte flambée was delicious.

Small, rustic pub in the middle of the Römerberg. I was there for the first time 6 months ago and have been there ever since. You meet people from Frankfurt as well as people from all over the world. Very friendly waitresses

The food was pretty tasty, especially the meat dishes were very good, the portions were also sufficient, the service was fast and the staff was friendly, the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed, a good place to eat in peace and the prices weren't too high either.

We tried the mulled wine because it was cold, it was actually very good.

Very rude waitress! She served the local first because we are foreigners. We argued that we have been waiting for long time and even the ones she had already served cut in line. She just shrugged and continued ignoring us which is indeed rude and impolite

Great place to get a sausage/Frankfurter while in Old Town Frankfurt. It is across from the old chapel and just down from Frankfurt Cathedral.

Really to be avoided for French tourists...a catastrophic welcome if you can call it a welcome from the blonde waitress with glasses. It's a shame because the setting is nice and you can eat good Wurst there but this person really doesn't seem to like the French... On the other hand, the little stand with the gentleman is very good and is pleasant to him!

The Old Limpurger belongs to Frankfurt like the Roman next door. Outside, visitors to Frankfurt from all over the world enjoy a drink, warm woscht and potato salad. Mulled wine is very popular during the cold season. Small, cozy Pilsstube inside (I know some regulars), the SGE (Eintracht football) is wafting around everywhere. There is a small, cozy seating area for several people with photos of old Frankfurt. The freshly tapped and well-chilled Henninger is absolutely drinkable, but we like the Bavarian Oberdorfer Helle more.

Quick snack and a glass of wine. What more could you want! Love the place 💪🏻

Since it faces Römerplatz, I went in not expecting it to be a restaurant catering to tourists, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The price was reasonable, and we had a delicious meal while looking out at Römerplatz. especially! Flammkuchen is extremely delicious. We recommend toppings with prosciutto and ricotta cheese. The goulash and potato salad are both delicious. A lap blanket is also available.

Good spot to people watch in the town square. Food is okay, ordered a sausage and a flatbread. Most customers seem to be having their midday drink as lunch. Men’s restroom very cramped with 3 urinals side by side. Barely fits 3 people in there at once, very awkward.

In the middle of August we stopped in this place adjacent to Römemberg square in the historic center of Frankfurt. Ordered Bavarian bratwursts (I find the Frankfurt ones difficult to digest), a potato salad, accompanied by a pretzel and half a liter of Frankfurt beer (Henninger). All good, average prices. Advised.

Right in one of the main picturesque squares, service team was welcoming, friendly, and fun! One of the best tarte flambee / flammekueche North of Alsace. A great dinner to close out our time in Frankfurt!

Many customers used the oak barrel standing space after self-ordering. It was a bit uncomfortable to stand, but it was romantic to be able to hear the bells of Roemer Square and see the happy faces of passing tourists. A variety of beers and sausages are delicious haha. ah. Apple wine (Appelwein) Not sweet, sour, but attractive. Please try it

the food is good but the female waiter is terrible, you can notice she did not want to serve us. They male waiter on the other hand, nice, he had to tell his college to come serve us several times.

The sausages are delicious, the beer excellent.

Location directly on the market square. Beer at humane prices: light, wheat and dark. Food is prepared in front of your eyes. We were only there for drinks, but it smelled delicious. There is standing room and seating inside and outside. We visited it twice in one day because it simply convinced us :)

🇩🇪 Frankfurt am Main - Alten Limpurg After eating grilled snails across the street (on the Roman Forum side) last year and almost being burned to death by the sun, this time I decided to eat sausages on the opposite side (on the Roman Forum side) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I originally thought that this restaurant was for eating pig's feet and fried pork chops, but it turned out that the photo came from somewhere. This restaurant was for eating hot dogs, sausages and bread! Then pair it with Frankfurt’s must-drink cider. Don’t go wrong!

There is a very nice atmosphere, polite staff and fast service. However, we were disappointed to see that there were no fries.

If I can give zero, I would. This place is the worst. The foods were terrible, the service is mediocre. The waitress did not want to be there serving people or maybe she is just racist. Tourist, stay away from this place!

Although it's well located looking at the charming old buildings, the service is desperately lacking. About 7 minutes to get the server to say "what can I get you" when I didn't even have the menu. After the meal was done, my empty beer glass was deliberately separated from the rest of the used dishes and left on the table in front of me. The next 20 minutes were spent with the server walking around me and ignoring the table. When a business wants to make money they say "what else can I get you" after they actually clean your table. She was also rude to the customers around me. I don't recommend coming here.
