The food, the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and everything is incredible, it's my favorite place in Frankfurt, I recommend it 100%, if I lived here I would come every day!!!

A restaurant on Römerplatz in Frankfurt. I had a light dinner and it was very delicious. It was great to have beer and sausage while looking out at the square. I regret that I should have tried other dishes.

Stopped by for a couple of minutes to warmed up ourselves with a glass of glühweine. It was nice

Very rude waitress! She served the local first because we are foreigners. We argued that we have been waiting for long time and even the ones she had already served cut in line. She just shrugged and continued ignoring us which is indeed rude and impolite

The worst service I ever experienced in Frankfurt (morning on 24/11/2024)! They ignore the tourists when there are locals who they know.

Great place to get a sausage/Frankfurter while in Old Town Frankfurt. It is across from the old chapel and just down from Frankfurt Cathedral.

The goulash soup was the best thing I ate in Frankfurt! The attendant Aleksandra is lovely! Super nice place to spend the afternoon drinking beer and tasting German cuisine

Really to be avoided for French tourists...a catastrophic welcome if you can call it a welcome from the blonde waitress with glasses. It's a shame because the setting is nice and you can eat good Wurst there but this person really doesn't seem to like the French... On the other hand, the little stand with the gentleman is very good and is pleasant to him!

1 star for the form, Very poor welcome from the waitress (blonde), very disrespectful, speaks badly, seems to hate the French... establishment to avoid!!!!

The Old Limpurger belongs to Frankfurt like the Roman next door. Outside, visitors to Frankfurt from all over the world enjoy a drink, warm woscht and potato salad. Mulled wine is very popular during the cold season. Small, cozy Pilsstube inside (I know some regulars), the SGE (Eintracht football) is wafting around everywhere. There is a small, cozy seating area for several people with photos of old Frankfurt. The freshly tapped and well-chilled Henninger is absolutely drinkable, but we like the Bavarian Oberdorfer Helle more.

Quick snack and a glass of wine. What more could you want! Love the place 💪🏻

Since it faces Römerplatz, I went in not expecting it to be a restaurant catering to tourists, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The price was reasonable, and we had a delicious meal while looking out at Römerplatz. especially! Flammkuchen is extremely delicious. We recommend toppings with prosciutto and ricotta cheese. The goulash and potato salad are both delicious. A lap blanket is also available.

Good spot to people watch in the town square. Food is okay, ordered a sausage and a flatbread. Most customers seem to be having their midday drink as lunch. Men’s restroom very cramped with 3 urinals side by side. Barely fits 3 people in there at once, very awkward.

The bill price was different with the actual price because they think i charged my phone which should be paid.

Good food, very typical of Hesse. I got there just before it started raining, so they had a lot of customers. Service was a little slow but friendly.

In the middle of August we stopped in this place adjacent to Römemberg square in the historic center of Frankfurt. Ordered Bavarian bratwursts (I find the Frankfurt ones difficult to digest), a potato salad, accompanied by a pretzel and half a liter of Frankfurt beer (Henninger). All good, average prices. Advised.

Excellent location, very friendly waitresses, both the one at noon and at night, they treated us very well. The prices are very good and the food is good. I recommend it 100%

Right in one of the main picturesque squares, service team was welcoming, friendly, and fun! One of the best tarte flambee / flammekueche North of Alsace. A great dinner to close out our time in Frankfurt!

Many customers used the oak barrel standing space after self-ordering. It was a bit uncomfortable to stand, but it was romantic to be able to hear the bells of Roemer Square and see the happy faces of passing tourists. A variety of beers and sausages are delicious haha. ah. Apple wine (Appelwein) Not sweet, sour, but attractive. Please try it

the food is good but the female waiter is terrible, you can notice she did not want to serve us. They male waiter on the other hand, nice, he had to tell his college to come serve us several times.

The sausages are delicious, the beer excellent.

Location directly on the market square. Beer at humane prices: light, wheat and dark. Food is prepared in front of your eyes. We were only there for drinks, but it smelled delicious. There is standing room and seating inside and outside. We visited it twice in one day because it simply convinced us :)

🇩🇪 Frankfurt am Main - Alten Limpurg After eating grilled snails across the street (on the Roman Forum side) last year and almost being burned to death by the sun, this time I decided to eat sausages on the opposite side (on the Roman Forum side) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I originally thought that this restaurant was for eating pig's feet and fried pork chops, but it turned out that the photo came from somewhere. This restaurant was for eating hot dogs, sausages and bread! Then pair it with Frankfurt’s must-drink cider. Don’t go wrong!

There is a very nice atmosphere, polite staff and fast service. However, we were disappointed to see that there were no fries.

If I can give zero, I would. This place is the worst. The foods were terrible, the service is mediocre. The waitress did not want to be there serving people or maybe she is just racist. Tourist, stay away from this place!

A disposizione anche Gulash etc . Il servizio è veloce . Non si può pagare con bancomat o carta, ma solo in contanti . Fuori ci sono grandi tavoli ; ci si siede insieme ad altri commensali e si socializza volentieri .

Although it's well located looking at the charming old buildings, the service is desperately lacking. About 7 minutes to get the server to say "what can I get you" when I didn't even have the menu. After the meal was done, my empty beer glass was deliberately separated from the rest of the used dishes and left on the table in front of me. The next 20 minutes were spent with the server walking around me and ignoring the table. When a business wants to make money they say "what else can I get you" after they actually clean your table. She was also rude to the customers around me. I don't recommend coming here.

The service and attitude could not be lower. It felt like they dislike tourists, no one knows what a smile means and when i tried to ask questions about the menu, for instance, what exactly is in the potato salas (and as a foreigner i am allowed not to know) they said - potato salad. Overall if you come from a country where customer service means something, just be prepared not to get any.

- I don't think it's okay to smoke inside the restaurant, given that it's an outdoor terrace. - Children are not allowed to enter the restaurant. Want to change these rules. Otherwise, the restaurant looks good both inside and outside.

A glass of apple wine with a good view on the Römerberg. What more do you want?

A hot meat sausage from the kettle and an Äppler are always good. Always very friendly staff.

Gegensatz zu Konferenz war es am 08.04.24 schönes Wetter und entsprechend war was los. Ambiente war gut, aber das Essen war nicht so gut wie die Konkurrenz. Das Schnitzel war sehr trocken. Die Spitzel und Die Maultaschen war okay aber hab schon besser gegessen, hatte ihn im Außenbereich Platz genommen war sehr laut deswegen drei von fünf Sterne mehr erwartet.

Was such a great experience. I stumbled across this little bar by mistake and you bet had a great evening. The outdoors or the indoors both have their charm. With the old charm vibe in the music and decor. The wine/beer served is top notch and so is the food. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening.

Barrel at the corner was excellent, the best table in this bar. My reccommendatiob is Wizen draf beer.

A nice place for a beer with a traditional German appetizer - sausage or presl. Both options are tasty and perfect. The view of the old market square is unbeatable. It's worth sitting down, resting and enjoying.

A gem. Traditional Frankfurt pub, probably one of the last. And yet - but probably precisely because of that - the whole world likes to meet there - just those who want to have a good time without any frills. Thanks to the boss and his sensitivity, great people work there who always serve cold drinks, delicious food in a good mood and in an uncomplicated manner - at fair prices - for Frankfurt standards. And if it's just at the bar - good mood, good people, good music. And☝️watching football is also possible😉

Cult in Frankfurt. Luckily, if you're looking for Chic-Micki, you won't find it here. There are no class differences here, people count here. Top service, super friendly boss and team, food is delicious and the atmosphere is sensational.

The bar had good reviews, that's why we went in. However the food was not good, and they did not accept paying by card, which was a big NO from us. Jeez, this is 21st century in the economic capital of Europe, in very center.

Get there early. This place is in a nice spot where you can sit and enjoy a nice beer. Only down side is that they close early. Another person joined our group and service was denied. The waitress however was nice enough to give then at least one beer but they had no chance to try the sausage. Owners son was mad and wanted everyone to leave.

Kleines Restaurant mit uralten Wurzeln neben dem Römer, mit Außengastronomie, die einen prima Blick auf das wuselige Treiben auf dem Römerberg bietet. Es gibt Deftiges und Frankfurter Würstchen. Der Flammkuchen Elsässer Art war lecker.

Heerlijk op terras gezeten, flammkuchen gegeten, worst met lekkere Duitse aardappelsalade, bier en een wijntje.

관광지 한복판인데 비싸지 않아요. 프푸에서의 마지막 식사였는데 아주 만족했어요. 맥주도 맛있고 피자처럼 보이는 플람키쉬도 넘넘 맛있었어요. 22.7 나왔는데 팁까지 24 결제. 추천해요.

I had a meal yesterday, I am not one to complain but this was easily the worst thing I have eaten, 4 halfed eggs that were black and smoothie sour kaursaut that touched everything on the plate, only boiled potatoes were okay. I ate some but because of my disgust, other tables seen my plate and started to laugh. Food menu was limited and confusing. Pictures would be appreciated on the menu as this was a high traffic area for tourists. Simple menu items also appreciated. I will not be back and be telling people for years of my dislike for this place. I hope you take some feed back from this. Great location, unimpressive service but sadly laughable food.

I can't rate the food as we have not eaten there yet, but we have stopped by for after dinner drinks multiple times and have enjoyed ourselves. They have "SKY" so there is always a game on the screen. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great. It sits about 100yards from the river and in an open courtyard area with multiple other places. You can sit indoors at the bar, or facing out looking into the courtyard, or outside tables. All offer a good view and on a good weather day it is the place to be. This has become our last walking stop in Frankfurt when we visit, which has been weekly the past couple of months.

Der beste Ort für Essen im Herzen der Frankfurter Altstadt, in meiner Meinung. Ich hatte das leckere Flammkuchen auf dünnem aromatischen Boden mit zärtlichen Champignons, das für nur 9 Euro. Ich werde bestimmt zurückkommen. Der Blick auf den Marktplatz ist auch sehr schön :) Alles Beste für euer Business!

Essen war echt super und preislich überraschend gut. Wir hatten den Flammkuchen für 9€, frisch, selbstgemacht und super knusprig. Der Handkäs mit Musik für 3.50€ ist auch unschlagbar. Sind und werden wiederkommen :)
