Aloha Beach Club in Herford

Very nice beach club. The food is delicious, please don't get me wrong. There are fries, sausages, burgers and bowls. Can't be compared with a restaurant. But I don't think anyone has that claim. You really enjoy sitting there and meeting friends and acquaintances. Have a drink and have a nice time there.

Great atmosphere, very lovingly furnished

We have been to the ABC several times with our regulars. So my girlfriend and I thought on sunny June 9th, 2024, let's eat and drink something there again. When I handed over the glass of “Cherry Malibu” the bottom of the glass suddenly fell off and it was all on my pants and sneakers. I was still thinking that anything could happen, but the day there was over. We were told to write everything to the boss, Mr. Schneider, by email. No sooner said than done, we were able to save the trousers by washing them 3 times - the sneakers were 4 weeks old, but now yellow due to the cherry... After filing a claim, Mr. Schneider's "Baloise Insurance" covered 66% of the cost of the sneakers. After 4 weeks the "new" one wasn't down yet - just a disgrace. I didn't hear anything from the owner, Mr. Schneider, after that... Customer service out of place! I am also an entrepreneur and if it were my company, I would have 1. changed insurance and 2. personally given the customers a voucher as compensation. So we have moved our regular table and my girlfriend will no longer enter the Aloha Beach Club with her friends. Unfortunately, Mr. Schneider does not understand how to implement the “Hawaiian Aloha Spirit” in his company.

I'm writing a review because unfortunately I can't respond to the review of "Jongi Boi" from before! We were all there live, and what she/or her son wrote there is unfortunately not entirely true :-) In any case, we have been extremely satisfied for years! The boss Louis is a cool guy and helps where he can. The prices are completely reasonable! Atmosphere is great and familiar. You are welcome at any time. But if you drink your own “rehab drink”, by that I mean your bottle of cheap water @jongiboi, you can also take countermeasures. But also your performance: full 5 stars!!

Direct sunlight probably had some influence on this rating. @Louis: I admire your reaction to these unobjective comments from the good woman.

The burger was tasty and the ambience was right, but the "boss" was unfortunately very unfriendly and unreasonable. If I hadn't asked about the parking situation a second time, I would have paid 55 euros at the end of my stay at the beach club, as an employee had previously told me that as a guest you could park for free in the municipal parking lot. Apparently the boss is unable to instruct his employees not to give out misinformation. The boss also implied that I lied because, according to him, the employee “couldn’t have said it like that.” When I asked about the WiFi, I only got a shrug. The customer is definitely not king there and even if you have a justified complaint, the employees will make fun of you along with the guests. Absolutely not recommended.

It's really nice if you want to relax in the evening with friends, family or as a couple after work. Delicious cocktails, bratwurst, fries and co. You can play beach volleyball, there is good music and you can sit comfortably. We come often and will continue to do so. Absolute recommendation.

A substitute for a beach in the city center. Nice atmosphere, a lot of people, but they were fine at the bar. The prices are probably reasonable.

We just had a drink. I can't say anything about the food. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Chilled music and beautiful flowers, palm trees and plants. You can relax well with friends. I have never seen toilets so clean! Gladly again!

The atmosphere is great, one of the most beautiful beach clubs in the region. But the quality of the food is really bad and the prices are unjustifiably high. I've already experienced a lot here: Bratwurst half-cooked, limp fries, soft nachos, the simplest cheeseburger for 10 euros,... I only order drinks here. The service is rather weak, sometimes even unfriendly.

Great location and nice employees. But the food preparation process needs to be improved. Although there were 3 employees behind the counter, we had to wait 15 minutes for 1x wedges and 1x currywurst. Too long!

Very friendly new owner, but unfortunately he has increased the prices. 5€ for a 0.5l beer is steep for self-service. There's finally tap beer and there are always enough people for a game of volleyball. There are enough parking spaces for bicycles and e-bikes and you can keep an eye on them reasonably well. There are no broken pieces in the sand like there are in many similar locations, so you can let your children play anywhere safely. Overall, highly recommended.

Beautiful place to relax, we went there after work. We ate chicken nuggets plus apple fries and had appetizers and beers. The decor is beautiful, beach style. Children will enjoy it there and there is a park not far away.

We really like being here, you feel like you're on a short vacation, unfortunately the fries were a bit cold, but then I got a new portion. The cocktails are mostly delicious, but last time we got an Ipanema that wasn't quite as good as usual. Otherwise highly recommended

Visually great, great feeling in good weather. The one star deduction is due to the extremely large number of flies (the amount was not "usual") as soon as there is food somewhere.

When the weather is good you feel like you're on holiday, the wheat beer was tasty.

Ich habe im Aloha Beach Club kürzlich meinen 60.Geburtstag gefeiert. Von der Reservierung bis zur Bewirtung alles super!!Für meine rund 40 Gäste und meinen Wünschen an Auswahl von Getränken und Snacks wurde alles professionell und problemlos umgesetzt und zu einem wunderschönen,unvergesslichen Tag . Herzlichen Dank Ihr seid ein spitzen Team !!!

Radtour-Pause, tolles Wetter, echtes Beachfeeling mit passender Musik und einem alkoholfreiem Weizen. Was will man mehr.....einfach super....

Wir haben eine Fahrradtour nach Herford gemacht und aufgrund des Tipps eines Freundes einen Zwischenstopp im Beachclub eingelegt. Ich muß zugeben, war eine super Empfehlung. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich, jedenfalls an einem sonnigen frühen Samstagnachmittag. Getränke und Speisen holt man sich an der Bar und zahlt auch dort sofort. Leer geräumt werden die Tische dann vom Service, so dass alles immer sehr aufgeräumt aussieht! Top!

Super Feeling wie am Strand. Es gibt auch Kleinigkeiten zum essen, ich würde mir noch etwas salatiges im Programm wünschen. Ansonsten klasse! Ist ein guter Anlaufpunkt für Radfahrer. Man kann entlang der Werre auf schönen Radwegen in Richtung Bad Salzuflen fahren.

Aloha Beachclub in Herford. Schönes Ambiente. Wie im Strandurlaub. Selbstbedienung. Dadurch hat man seine Ruhe. Muss jedoch für Getränke und Essen selbst an die Bar. Das Essen ist gut. Keine Sterne Küche, aber sowas erwartet man dort vielleicht auch nicht.

Es gibt Bratwurst und Burger. Tolle Cocktails und man holt sich seine Sachen selbst an den Theken. Viele tolle sehr gemütliche Sitzplätze. Das Ambiente ist einfach super.

Wir hatten hier eine private Feier. Die Getränke waren top und auch das Ambiente war einem Beachclub entsprechend. Es gab einen Beachvolleyballplatz und viel Sand. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Zum Verweilen an schönen Sonnentagen sicher ein guter Ort in Herford.

Einer der schönsten Biergärten in Herford

Gepflegte Bar zu der ich gerne immer wieder hin fahre. Plätze sind meistens vor-reserviert daher sollte man mit mehreren Leuten ebenfalls reservieren. Leider gibt es nur wine Beachvolleyball-Anlage aber man kann wenn man fragt meistens mit spielen wenn man fragt. Bälle kann man dort leihen.

Heldin des Tages getroffen :-) War dort heute auf ein Bierchen und Currywurst, auf dem Heimweg war mein Handy weg- o Schreck! Schnell zurück und gesucht (Toilette, am Platz....) nix gefunden und nix abgegeben. Angelika (arbeitet dort) war meine Heldin, sie hat mir suchen geholfen und mehrfach mit ihrem Handy meines angerufen....super lieb! Und Happy end...am Ende hatte sich das Handy im Auto "versteckt" Vielen lieben Dank nochmal! Komme gern wieder P.S: Die anderen Kollegen waren auch sehr nett, an der Bar und bei der Essensausgabe

Top essen und Ambiente zu fairen Preisen.

The atmosphere at the Aloha Beach Club was brilliant. It got even better as it got darker. As a British national is was a joy to be in this environment, with well behaved, friendly, good mannered people all intent on having a good time. People of all ages were having an enjoyable evening. The service at the bar was fast and efficient, whether food or bier, it was quick and easy. The local bier, Herforder Pilsner tasted as good as it did 40 years ago when I first visited Herford.

Wir hatten uns mit unserer Jahrgangsstufe im Beach Club getroffen. Im Vorfeld wurde die Reservierung über WhatsApp professionell geregelt. Auch die Hygienevorschriften werden nach meiner Einschätzung sehr gut umgesetzt. Insgesamt ein perfektes Treffen mit einem kleinen Manko: Der Beach Club wurde leider zu früh geschlossen, wir hätten gerne noch weiter den schönen Sommerabend genossen.

Tolle Strand-Atmosphäre mit viel Phantasie zusammen gestellt. Kleine Speisen und gute Getränke und Longdrinks zu zivilen Preisen. Man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub. Leider nur in der Sommer-Saison geöffnet.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert, allein oder mit Freunden. Mit Herz geführt und passendem Angebot für einen Beach-Club. Ein echter Anziehungspunkt in Herford.

Ein Beachclub mit ansprechendem Mobiliar, Getränke und Fingerfood müssen selbst an der Theke geholt werden, es herrscht dort eine gute Stimmung und wir besuchen ihn jedes Jahr mehrfach.
