Ali's Döner in Köln

I (Alman 37) was there for the first time yesterday and I have to say it was one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. And I've eaten a lot of kebab in my life, I really liked it, the bread was nice and airy and fresh and the steak kebab was simply brutally delicious. It's not without reason that it's still very busy at 9:30 p.m. during the week. For me, Uruc kebab in Kyffhäuserstr is the best kebab in Cologne. See you again Ali Abi.

The first time I ate here the meat was good, the salad was fresh and the fries were fried in fresh oil!!! That was once! Now for the third time, bad old meat, bad fries and unfortunately the salad is no longer fresh either! I mean we pay almost 60 for 3 people and then such a bad meal! Never again!!!

Great kebab, great durum. They're not the cheapest, but the quality is great too!

Everything is just right at Ali’s Döner: super fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat and crispy bread. You can tell that the work here is done with love and passion. No matter whether you want something quick on hand or want to eat comfortably on site, everyone will find what they are looking for here. Absolutely recommended, always happy!

Mixing in the vegetables could be better but the meat here is excellent and well cooked with great flavour.

The steak kebab is super tasty and absolutely recommended. Portions are large and at a fair price. There is also a large selection of different sauces.

We ordered through Wolt and after waiting we received confirmation that the order was now being delivered. Immediately afterwards we were informed by support that the delivery had been cancelled. Reason: The order was given to the wrong courier and the store did not want to remake the order. At that point we had been waiting for a while, super annoying and poor service.

August 6th, 2024 I have been here often but the last time to date was about 3 months ago. I like the steak kebab and as of today I probably won't go there again. I understand the increased costs in times of the big kebab debate. But raising the prices is one thing, but then only filling the part halfway and handing the money to an unfriendly kebab chef really pissed me off! He'll get away with it in that spot!

Nothing to recommend, there was a lot of gristle in my kebab, probably cheap meat quality.

Great location right next to McDonald’s at an intersection. Unfortunately, my fries weren't cooked through and the garlic sauce was very dill-heavy. The steak meat was tasty. Not a place to stay.

I was there with my mother because I was starving, I wanted to leave it at home to gamble and eat and I was really looking forward to my pommdöner but the fries were too big and there were no spices and the meat was too dry. So that's the name I change it to "dry kebab".

Quality and taste really great. The steak kebab tastes excellent. Certainly one of the tastiest kebabs in the area. The price is also fair and everyone is super nice. Seating and tables were clean and everyone was very friendly with the kids

Was lifting one yesterday and thought to myself "a hangover kebab so that your head doesn't go so bad the next day would be great"... well. Not successful, the soup came back to me.

Hello dear team, the meat and the side dishes are all great and you are great people. But can you please remove this parsley from the side dishes? Every time I drive to you I have to bed and hope that you don't have this petasily on it, if you don't have it I order without hesitation. I can't tolerate these herbs and I love your kebab so please just make it separately instead and just ask like everything else if you want it on it!!!

The kebab with steak is recommended. However, the cocktail sauce tastes a little too strongly of ketchup and mayonnaise. Card payment will be card payment, which is convenient. The restaurant offers both seating and standing options, but these are limited.

Sorry but this is one of the worst Dürum's in Cologne. It doesn't taste like anything.

A very good kebab snack. Salads were fresh, service was attentive and friendly, the steak kebab was incredibly well marinated and seasoned. Very high quality meat and at €7.50 it was still pretty cheap. I think, or am almost certain, that there was no seating inside. There are a few high tables with stools outside for customers. Parking is of course not that easy, the snack bar is at the intersection on Venloerstr. But somehow you find it always what.

Quite okay, no revelation, better & more sauce would probably help ♡

In my opinion the best kebab in Ehrenfeld. The meat from the “steak kebab” is excellent. Not minced meat, but real muscle meat. There might be a little more sauce, but you can just tell the staff that. Clear 5 stars!

I think it's the best doner restaurant in Kolkata

Meat doner is nice, cologne is ditip, when you stay at the back right of the mosque, it is approximately 1500 meters away, opposite the tram stop. The owners are Turkish. They have a wide variety of sauces, bitter and sour. They have indoor places on the side of the buffet. It is a narrow place for 3 people, but it is better than sitting outside in winter. If you sit outside in winter, it is cold and unfortunately the tables are crowded. It is not clean enough. As a result, the meat doner is good and satisfying.

Dürüm better than Spain vacation. Fast and tasty. Employees also very nice. Tell my family about the Dürüm.

Worst kebab I've ever had. I ordered on Ubereats and am very disappointed. I got a sandwich instead of the Dürüm I ordered. The meat was dry, tough and not tasty at all. There was hardly any sauce on it and the remaining ingredients didn't taste particularly high quality either. Will definitely not order here again.

€7.50 for a steak kebab or Yaprak meat is quite clear for such a delicious and high-quality kebab in today's times. The kebab could be bigger, but the overall picture fits. 😋 If possible, it would be nice if you had more chairs, otherwise the tables with the trash can underneath are perfect!

The kebab meat was raw, which happens every second of the night. I asked for a new kebab. I was paraded. The three servants were very disrespectful. They refused to make me a new kebab. They tore the loaf to pieces in front of all the customers and ostentatiously claimed it was ok. I should eat it. Then came a dollop of tsaitsiki. I should eat the kebab now. I have never experienced so much disrespect. Then one of them aggressively threw €5 across the table. I would have already bitten into it. I asked for full price. His colleague became completely aggressive and angry. I got my money, but the crowd of 10 people waiting had dispersed... Nobody wanted to eat there anymore… I never will again!!

Great snack, price performance is right. The kebab may be a little more expensive than the others in the area, but the quality and taste of the meat is completely different. Both chicken and veal taste good. The guys are quick, you don't have to wait long. It's just that eating on site isn't really convenient.

The steak kebab was really delicious! Something completely different than the typical minced meat skewer, like many other providers. I found the meat very tasty, the salad was fresh and crunchy. Personally, I even taste the kebab better than that of a well-known former FC player.

Not recommendable!!! You order online and are told delivery will take place in 41 minutes. After 1.5 hours nothing. You call and are told that the delivery is coming soon. After 2 hours the order was simply canceled without any information. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

If you want to eat delicious fries, you should give it a wide berth! The fries are of different thicknesses, which means that the thicker ones are not fully cooked yet. There is only mayo from a bag for 50 cents (really a joke) and they weren't particularly flavorful either. Unfortunately, a disappointing experience to start the day.

Super bad kebab. 11.50 menu .. and you get it thrown away like that. It's better to go to McDonald's next door because you know what you're getting, even if McDonald's isn't a good store, but Ali's kebab is unreasonable for the price. Ehrenfeld doesn't deserve it.

Ordered chicken, got “steak”… and even though I got the wrong food, I also had to pay more. The “steak meat” tastes terrible and is absolutely not recommended.

Bought a plate of kebab on Saturday evening……salad/chips was tasty but the meat of the kebab was not nice, later I had an upset stomach.

The best kebab far and wide. I travel a lot in North Rhine-Westphalia and am an absolute kebab and gyros lover. You get very good things here Steak meat in a kebab!! Keep it up!!

Chicken kebab was cold. Meat was removed from the rack and not cut fresh. Underground. Never try.

Das „Steakfleisch“ schmeckt leider nicht. Brot, Saucen und Salat waren okay.

Dönerbox mit Rind und scharfe Cocktailsauce war wirklich hervorragend. War heute bei mehreren Dönerläden, inklusive den ganzen Favoriten der Einwohner, die mir empfohlen wurden und dieser hier war im Vergleich besser.

7€ ist ein effektiver Verlust, der Geschmack des Sandwiches wie Gummi…ich würde niemals wiederholen.

Ich habe dort vor 2 Wochen um 18 Uhr Abends einen Steakdöner mit Pommes gegessen. Es war gut besucht und sah sauber aus. Dieser Anschein trügt jedoch, da ich wenige Stunden später mit einer Lebensmittelvergiftung flachlag. Es war eine der schlimmsten Nächte meines Lebens. Mit Fieber, Übergeben... Etc.. Ich kann jedem, dem seine Gesundheit wichtig ist nur empfehlen diesen Laden zu meiden ! Das Gesundheitsamt wurde benachrichtigt

Netter Dönermann, als Berliner finde ich die Soßenauswahl "interessant", aber so ist es halt, wenn man außerhalb einen Döner ist. Das Fleisch war super gut, der Salat der frisch. Echt lecker!

Vor 2-jahren hätte ich euch noch 5*Sterne vergeben. Allein für den Qualitativ Hochwertigen Steak-Fleisch Döner und frischen Salat. Stand heute, nachdem letztmaligen versuch und die Hoffnung nicht aufgegeben, dass diesmal euer Fleisch gut ist, leider wieder enttäuscht. Eure Qualität hat so nachgelassen, Ihr habt euch auf euren Erfolg der letzten Jahre leider ausgeruht. Macht das besser und hört auf uns, eure Kunden die zahlreich hier sich mittlerweile Ihre Rezensionen abgeben. Wir wollen doch alle gutes Essen, mit guten Produkten haben, dafür zahlen wir doch auch gerne diese etwas höheren Preise. Der Service, die Sauberkeit und euer Personal, ist dafür wirklich TOP! Dafür gibt's auch die von mir vergebenen Sterne. Daumen Hoch.

Hier gibt es verschiedene Fleischsorten, unter anderem Steak, leider hatten wir das gewählt. Schmeckte einfach nicht so gut, war nur ok. Personal war freundlich und schnell.

Die Herrschaften hinter der Tresse werden immer schlechter und auch unhöflicher, nachdem ich ein Döner zum mitnehmen selbst auf dem Weg nach Hause gekauft habe, war mein Dönerfleisch (das muss man auch sagen, das Fleisch ist wesentlich weniger geworden, aber dafür reichlich teurer) und das Brot kalt und ohne Geschmack. Meine Wohnung ist nur ca. 500 Meter davon entfernt und ich war mit dem Auto unterwegs, dann musste ich mir anhören, als ich mich telefonisch beschwert habe, dass das normal ist, wenn ich was zum mitnehmen bestelle. Hätte ich es vor Ort gegessen, wäre es sicherlich nicht anders verlaufen. Diese schlechte Qualität liegt nach meiner Meinung an mehreren Faktoren, die Herrschaften schneiden viel Fleisch und lassen es warten. Ist doch klar, dass das Fleisch kalt wird bei dem Wetter, für das Brot gilt es das gleiche, die haben es viel früher warm gemacht und es länger stehen gelassen. Das Resultat habe ich zuhause gegessen. Ein Döner für 7 Euro, mit so wenig Fleisch, ist schon eine Unverschämtheit! Ali‘s Döner werde ich für eine lange Zeit boykottieren.

Very good beef DONER / shawarma. Good tasting meat. Fresh vegetables. Sauces OK. It's essential that their beef kebab is fillet pieces of meat. Very important as most other places have minced meat. Always avoid minced mystery meat! Looks clean. Staff is OK. Would recommend.

Wenn es möglich wäre kein Stern Nehmen Bestellungen auf und können es nicht mal auseinanderhalten. Von wem? Was war essen? Total trocken das Fleisch und ungenießbar.

Der Steak Döner schmeckt echt richtig gut. Nicht wie die billigen Hackfleisch Döner. In Ehrenfeld einer wenn nicht der Beste Döner. Meine Tochter hatte PommDöner. Die Pommes waren auch sehr lecker und kross. Preis Leistung ist echt top. Den Laden kann ich echt nur empfehlen.

Ich lebe nicht in Köln aber der Döner hier bei Ali‘s Döner hat mich sehr überzeugt. Überragender Döner, kann ich jedem nur weiter empfehlen. Kommt alle hier hin und lasst euch überraschen von dem Döner!!!

Leckerer Steakdöner aus 100% Rindersteakschichten (Yaprak Döner) im Herzen von Ehrenfeld. Kein Vergleich zum 0815 Hackdrehspieß-Zeug der überall sonst verramscht wird. Mein Go-to Döner wenn ich mal in der Region bin.

Döner war ekelig … wenig Fleisch , Brot nicht richtig getoastet …

Tatsächlich hab ich als Kind des Ruhrgebiets und nun seit etlichen Jahren in Düsseldorf beheimatet, gefühlt bereits 500 Döner in meinem Leben gegessen, ...und dieser gestern Abend war tatsächlich der Beste! Hatte den Kalb/Steak - Döner. Unmenschlich lecker, frisch, qualitativ hochwertig und mit 7 Euro für das echt große Ding auch noch fair! Brot super knusprig und fluffig, Fleisch überragend und Salat absolut frisch und knackig! Service gut, Ambiente nett ( man kann trocken/ überdacht inkl. Heizstrahler vor dem Geschäft sitzen und essen) ! Mega! Definitiv 5 Sterne! Für diesen Döner fahr ich wieder nach Ehrenfeld!

Die Pommes waren ganz gut, aber für die Mayo extra zahlen und dann nur eine einzige, winzige Portion für 50ct .. sorry, aber geht gar nicht! Und die zweite danach auch nochmal das gleiche !

Döner für 7€, wie sonst überall. Freundlicher Personal .

Einfach nur ne Frechheit. Berechnet bei betrunkenen Kunden einfach Hirtenkäse extra um noch vermutlich mit den 50cent Gewinn diesen Laden am Laufen zu halten. Döner war hart fettig und die Saucen waren auch nicht so geil. Aber Betrunkene abzuziehen hat auf jedenfall dem Ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt.

Ich würde euch den Hähnchen Döner empfehlen. Das Fleisch war frisch und lecker. Was für mich persönlich das Highlight war, war der Salat. Der Salat war sehr lecker. Eigentlich sollte in einem Döner eher das Fleisch herausstechen, für mich persönlich war es aber der Salat. Saucen waren Standard. Preisleistung ist etwas enttäuschend, man zahlt 6€ für einen Hähnchendöner und der Döner ist nicht gut belegt (siehe Foto). Dafür schmeckt man die Qualität raus. Ich habe bei meinem Kollegen den Steak Döner probiert, den würde ich euch nicht empfehlen, hat meiner Meinung nach wirklich nicht gut geschmeckt. Freundlicher Service, die Mitarbeiter waren nett. Alles in einem würde ich sagen empfehlenswert, wenn es mal schnell gehen muss.

Döner mal anders. Das Steaksandwich war ziemlich nice, da das Fleisch mal richtiges Fleisch am Spieß war und keine Haxckpampe.

Döner schmeckte säuerlich und Fleisch war trocken. Mitarbeiter völlig unmotiviert.
