Fantastisch!! Das Personal war fantastisch!

Wir haben eine Bestellung mit Shawarma und Pide aufgegeben. Die Pide haben wir zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Als wir zu Hause ankamen und die Verpackung geöffnet haben, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Pide komplett verbrannt war. Außerdem war das Personal sehr gestresst und hat in einem unfreundlichen und genervten Ton mit den Kunden gesprochen. Mein Sohn hat mit einem der Mitarbeiter gesprochen, doch dieser hat ihn angeschrien. So ein Verhalten gegenüber einem Kind ist völlig unangebracht. Der Service war insgesamt sehr schlecht und man hatte das Gefühl, als würde man etwas umsonst bekommen. Leider war das eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir werden dort nicht noch einmal bestellen und können das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Es war eine schlechte Erfahrung. Die Kassiererin war extrem unhöflich. Mein Essen kam so an – verbrannt.

Hatte einen Pomm Döner bestellt . Aber waren 90% Pommes , 3% Fleisch , 2% Salat und die restlichen 5% waren Sauce . Werde da kein 2. mal mehr holen

8. April 2026 Ich habe einen Döner im Brot mit Hähnchen bestellt. Es war ein klassischer Döner und hat gut geschmeckt. Leider konnte ich ihn nicht ganz aufessen, deshalb fragte ich die Kellnerin, ob ich den Rest mitnehmen könnte. Kurz darauf räumte sie jedoch einfach meinen Tisch ab und ging weg. Ich war verwirrt, weil die übrig gebliebene Hälfte meines Döners verschwunden war. Bis heute weiß ich nicht genau, was passiert ist, aber es war enttäuschend. 12. April 2026 Ein paar Tage später kam ich mit meinen Freunden noch einmal vorbei und beschloss, dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance zu geben. Dieses Mal bestellte ich einen Döner im Brot mit Kalb, und er war hervorragend. Geschmack und Qualität haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Portion war für mich riesig, und ich konnte die Reste problemlos mit nach Hause nehmen. Als wir an der Kasse bezahlt haben, bekamen wir sogar noch Bonbons geschenkt – eine nette kleine Geste, die einen positiven Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Insgesamt ist das Essen lecker und die Portionen sind großzügig. Meine erste Erfahrung mit dem Service war allerdings enttäuschend, während der zweite Besuch deutlich besser war. Ich hoffe, dass der Service in Zukunft etwas konstanter wird, denn der Döner selbst ist definitiv empfehlenswert.

Wir haben unser Essen mitgenommen, daher kann ich nichts zum Ambiente sagen. Wir haben eine Nacht in einem Hotel in der Nähe von Hamburg-Altona verbracht und uns spontan für einen Döner zum Mitnehmen entschieden. Dabei sind wir zufällig auf den Laden gestoßen. Die drei Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke begrüßten uns sofort mit einem breiten Lächeln. Wir bekamen eine Empfehlung und wurden sehr schnell bedient. Das Essen war superlecker! Ich kann diesen Laden für Döner zum Mitnehmen wärmstens empfehlen! Das Essen ist frisch, sättigend und preiswert!

Ich glaube ich habe noch nie so ein schlechten döner gegessen wie bei den.... Hatte mir ein Jumbo döner geholt fleisch extrem fettig, gefühlt nur Fleischbrot gegessen fast kein Salat, Brot war sofort gerissen und man konnte es nicht mehr essen

Die Jungs von ali Baba sind immer freundlich und haben nette Sprüche auf Lager. Ist ein Imbiss, aber ein besserer.

At Ali Baba Döner & Grill, the staff are overworked and seem stressed, which unfortunately affects the service. The food also falls short of expectations, especially the doner kebab, which lacks care. The restaurant has potential, but without improvements in service and food quality, the experience remains disappointing.

The guys at Ali Baba are always friendly and have a nice joke ready. It's a snack bar, but a better one.

My regular kebab shop for years – I've never been disappointed. No matter what you order, everything is consistently delicious and freshly prepared.

I ate there twice since it opened, and the meat was completely oversalted. It was a tragedy; I've said goodbye to kebabs forever. But unfortunately, that's the way it's meant to be. Watch YouTube videos about kebabs, and you'll know what they're about. Enjoy your meal.

Incredibly good kebab with great meat and bread and lots of fresh herbs

Very bad service and very, very bad treatment. An experience that will not be repeated. I do not recommend going there. Ali Baba Restaurant is one of the worst restaurants in Altona. It does not deserve a single star.

The portion size is good, and the staff here are really nice. It would be great to have a separate box for veggies and potatoes, or to use different types of boxes, as the current ones make the food look less appealing. It’s still delicious, though!

What can I complain about? Great prices and friendly service. I've been eating the pides and pizzas regularly since they opened.

The best kebab shop in Altona. Almost everything is homemade. For example, even the bread for the kebab and the dürum. Also really good: the pide with spinach and vegetables (vegetarian, possibly vegan).

Unfortunately, I have to add something negative. I found hair in two out of three kebabs, and as we all know, that's not very appetizing. Perhaps the men should wear beards and hairnets for the benefit of their customers. Otherwise, I've always been satisfied. They're always friendly, and the place is fine. Except for the hair🥹

I ordered a regular and a jumbo doner kebab. I also ordered a Turkish pizza with doner meat. First, let's talk about the service. Shortly after I ordered, a fairly large group of teenagers came in. This led to chaos and unnecessary hustle and bustle. Instead of calmly processing everything piece by piece, they just went around and around. This also resulted in the jumbo doner having the wrong meat on it. I could live with that. But what's sad is that the jumbo doner was barely more than a regular doner. Rip-off! The only thing that was okay was the Turkish pizza. I won't be going there again. Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives to getting a doner kebab.

Super delicious kebab with lots of vegetables and a tasty sauce. The dough for the kebab roll was a bit soggy, but the taste experience made up for it. Highly recommended if you're in Altona for a change.

My absolute favorite kebab so far. I try a lot of different things, and this is our regular. The pizza and fries are also delicious. We haven't been disappointed yet. The people here are all friendly, too. What more could you want?

Good döner meat, even though it's beef. The chili sauce was the best I've had in a German döner shop, the bread was good and the staff were friendly. The price was alsovery reasonable and the portions were a good size. Lots of locals were eating here.

Rating: 1 star I was very disappointed with my visit to this takeaway. I had ordered a currywurst with fries and instead of a normal portion of curry I received a huge amount of curry sauce, which seemed more like half a kilo - far too much and completely inedible. In addition, the fries were burnt and not cooked properly, which further worsened the overall impression. When I told the gentleman on site, there was no apology or suggestion for a solution. He just shrugged his shoulders and said, “That’s the way it is.” This customer unfriendliness really disappointed me. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo to document the situation, but for me the visit was a clear failure. I definitely won't eat here again

Always delicious! We've been eating there since the store opened and it was only a matter of time until everything became more expensive (which didn't happen until 2024). Still relatively cheap! Way up there for me! (I've already heard people talking about the shop in Barmbek) But we miss the old boys, now there's more digging and orders are sometimes wrong, which is a shame

The best kebab shop in Altona. We all know Billstedt has better ones but in Altona and the surrounding area this is the best. Everything tastes good! Even simple things like gözleme are best there. It's cheap too.

A pity. Usually good/nice. Today, however, the staff was really annoyed and didn't give you any chicken, even though there was still some. And when I asked if I could get that instead, I was just rudely told no and brushed off as quickly as possible, even though I wanted to order more. Maybe somewhere else next time.

Delicious kebab, but difficult to communicate

The food there is just great. Not only are the normal kebab or the dürüm simply delicious, prepared exactly the way you want it, but I also recommend the fresh pide with kebab meat and cheese, as well as the gözleme. Also worth mentioning are the freshly made sauces. Jimmy. 😋 The green seating areas are a matter of taste 😏. And even though we didn't ask for it, my family and I got another free pide because the employee said ours was a little too dark. 🙏 Great service and top employees. 👍

Nothing special but not a complete disaster either. However, the veal is (in my opinion) of low quality. Very fibrous and quite mild in taste. The Jumbo Dürum is a normal size. Nothing jumbo. Overall, pretty much so. You can definitely eat it. Hamburg can only do falafel. The kebabs in Hamburg all feel questionable.

Delivery service doesn't work! Cars broken! OK, but if you order at 11:00 a.m. for 12:30 p.m. And the order only started to be processed at 12:30 p.m. Then it's worth nothing for me and the team who have a break at 12:30 p.m.!

Excellent food with home-made bread, friendly and efficient staff, I've been eating there with my family since 2013. The place is small and often packed, and the tv might be screaming turkish pop music, so you might want to order take away if it annoys you.

Here you can get a great kebab for 7 euros. The bread is already thin and crispy. The portion is great, other stores can take a look at this. Salad and sauces also delicious. Otherwise, the shop offers delicious pizza and pide. Of course there is always a daily special. The atmosphere in the store is rather negative. Furnishings could be more comfortable.

Endlich habe ich einen guten Dönerladen in Hamburg gefunden. Das Brot wird hier selbst gebacken und ist nicht wie in der für Hamburg typischen „Baguette“-Form was mir sehr gefällt. Der normale Döner aber auch der Dürüm sind hier sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und der Preis ist ebenfalls okay. Habe schon weitaus mehr für im Vergleich schlechtere Döner bezahlt. Man kann draußen aber auch drinnen sitzen wobei es gerade Mittags sehr voll werden kann. Komme gerne wieder!

Der döner schmeckt, das muss ich schon sagen. Trotzdem finde ich es schade dass mit Kunden relativ unfreundlich umgegangen wird. Ein simples "bitteschön" oder "aufwiedersehen" wäre schon super. Ich schaffe es auch "Dankeschön" oder "Tschau" zusagen. Wem unfreundliches auftretten nicht stört kann dort hingegen, wie geschrieben, das Essen schmeckt.

Leckeren Salatdöner mit allem hier gegessen. Portionen sind ok. Service schnell. Salate alle frisch. Parkplätze gegenüber hinter IKEA. Preise sind ok. Andrang während der Mittagszeit. Inneneinrichtung geht so.

Einer der besten Dönerläden in HH. Das liegt in 1. Linie an den selbst gemachten Teigwaren. Alles frisch und gute Portionen. Ambiente... Ist halt ein Imbiss,aber man kann sich auch setzen.
