We went there for the first time and didn't even know there was such a good Greek restaurant around the corner 😀 From the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left, it was simply fantastic. Very informal and relaxed, yet the service staff kept an eye on everything. My wife was still pregnant and received some free sweets after the meal. The food was amazing; I've rarely eaten such a good gyro, but the appetizers, especially the feta and garlic mashed potatoes, were also amazing. The atmosphere was very nice; we sat in the cozy courtyard. We'd love to come back, and very soon 😃 Keep up the good work, you're a great team, and you can tell you enjoy your work. P.S. Tips are only accepted in cash 😉

Delicious food, very friendly staff. The prices are a bit higher than at other Greek restaurants, but they're easily worth it. I highly recommend it. If the restaurant were closer to Cologne, I would eat there more often.

The family that runs the restaurant is incredibly warm. You immediately feel welcome, whether you're a regular or just stopping by for the first time. The service is attentive but never intrusive – just so you feel completely at home. And the food? Absolutely top-notch! Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. Even dishes I would never normally eat taste so good here that I would order them again anytime. The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair. All in all: great ambiance, friendly service, and food that's simply enjoyable. For me, the Alexander Palace is a real insider tip in Langenfeld – everything just works! 🙌

Super delicious food! I love the lamb grill, I can recommend it to anyone who likes lamb! You definitely need a reservation here, but it's no problem 😊

Even without a reservation, we got a seat very quickly (for two people); the service was genuinely friendly (no fake smiles); and we enjoyed very good (juicy, fresh) food (fish and grill). Great experience at a very reasonable price.

Very nice service. The starter salad was super fresh and very tasty. The chicken breast fillet was a bit too dry and the fried potatoes were more reminiscent of chips. Still a good evening and I would go again.

The food is very tasty and generously portioned. Meat such as liver, steak, fish and of course gyros are very well seasoned, grilled and attractively presented, a real delight. We are from Cologne and visited our daughter in Leverkusen. Based on a recommendation, my wife and daughter enjoyed dinner at Alexander Palace. As a guest you were warmly welcomed and served. The food was really delicious and the quantity was more for lumberjacks. So we had to take some with us. This was also absolutely problem-free. A great family business. The next generation is already secured. The junior boss loves his job and radiates it more than 100 percent through his friendliness. We'll be back. There are hardly any restaurants like this these days. And as I said...the food......suuuuperrr 😋

This Greek restaurant is remarkable in every way. We phoned to inquire at short notice. Despite it being very busy, we were able to get a table. The welcome was warm and genuine. We felt like we were part of the family. The meze was really very good. Some Greek restaurants use a lot of olive oil to prepare the taramas. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here. It had a good consistency, and you could really taste the fish roe. The gyro was crispy and well-seasoned. The potato chips were well-fried, so they rose well and formed a wonderfully crispy crust. In summary: The restaurant may seem unimpressive from the outside, but it is a gem like no other. 100% recommended!

Very rude waiter (star tattoo on left hand). Addressing guests with the name of the food they previously ordered ("Oktupus, do you want something more to drink?") or conversations with "Ssscht, ssscht!" Interrupting is an absolute no-go! The tone and volume are absolutely out of order. Likewise, none of the guests present had asked about the waiter's failed marriage, which he had to report loudly. As the flagship of the restaurant, this one performed absolutely poorly and repeatedly depressed and massively disrupted the actually good mood of those present. It's a shame, the evening could have been really nice.

We were there this evening for our 70th birthday, everything was great. Our guests were also very satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

The staff was very friendly. The ambience was nice too. The salad dressing was mediocre. The roasted potatoes are solid, but my chicken breast was heavily sprayed with water. This made the fillet very wobbly. The remaining meat was good. The consistency of the tzatziki was very similar to quark. The food was in one word: mediocre.

I've known this restaurant since 2008 when it was still at the old address... it's been a while since it moved to Opladener Str... But it's still my absolute favorite Greek restaurant.

Were invited to a party. Two celebrations took place here that evening and the rest of the restaurant was completely full. The thought quickly comes to mind, “Oh dear, that might take a while,” but that was far from it. Drinks were ordered and delivered immediately, and reordering went on without a hitch throughout the entire evening. As far as the food is concerned, the menu was very large, very large. Food was excellent and plentiful, the food was served quickly to everyone and we're not talking about 10 people here, there were far more of us. The taste was very good, even special requests were implemented without any problems, according to the motto “it doesn't work, it doesn't exist”. As far as the ambience is concerned, a very nice place and also a large place, there is also an indoor beer garden. From the outside it looks rather small and inconspicuous, far from it. We can only recommend it and will definitely come back again, unfortunately we don't live around the corner. But definitely make a reservation! As some reviews say, “excessive friendliness, etc.”, we couldn’t notice it at all; the service was attentive, helpful, fast and felt like it was everywhere 😊 The kitchen and the service do a very good job!

Unfortunately my parents were very disappointed on their last visit. When ordering, they asked that the portion not be so big. They said: No problem, we'll pack it up! My mother then left a large amount left and didn't put a napkin on the plate. Then the server came, grabbed a plate and slapped it on my mother's plate before she could even say a word. When asked about it, they said: Oh, you wanted to take something with you... Well, no more. It's a shame they liked going there.

Best Greek in Langenfeld and the surrounding area!

We have been guests at the restaurant several times now and I am still thrilled. The food and service are great, I have never been greeted so warmly and whenever we were guests at the Alexander Palace you felt like you were eating with the family and not in a restaurant. Even where we now live 60 km away, there is no question that we would go to a closer restaurant. A 10 out of 10 ❤️
