ALEX Frankfurt The Squaire in Frankfurt am Main

Wir haben uns als Familie spontan am Flughafen beim Alex zum Abendessen getroffen. Es waren ca. 10 Tische besetzt und war nichts los. Wir wollten an einem Tisch sitzen aber die Mitarbeiterin kam und sagte , dass wir 6 Personen sind und der Tisch ist für 8 und außerdem ist der Tisch reserviert, wir sollen uns woanders hinsetzen. Wir haben uns an einen anderen Tisch gesetzt. Getränke wurden gefragt und serviert und Essen wurde auch bestellt . Nach einer Weile kam auch das Essen und wir waren enttäuscht. 1) Currywurst war frittiert, die Sauce war entsetzlich und ungenießbar. Ich finde der Chef soll seine Kreationen erst auch selbst probieren. 2) Schnitzel war auch nicht in der Pfanne gebraten sondern auch frittiert 3) Süßkartoffel Pommes bei Fish and Chips waren hart und ungenießbar 4) Wir hätten gerne noch ein Getränk zum Essen bestellt aber der Kellner hat uns nicht gefragt. 5) In Großen und Ganzen war der Service und die Küche enttäuschend .Wir haben uns nicht Willkommen gefühlt und haben viel Geld für schlechte Leistung ausgegeben.

Very nice, quiet atmosphere at the airport. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. The prices are reasonable. The only criticism is that the gluten-free option is a little too raw.

Das Ambiente ist ansprechend und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Burger war okay. Die Beilage muss man extra dazu bestellen. Für mich stimmt allerdings das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich.

Biggest mistake taking bar stools off....and no wifi? How is this possible near a major hub?? Food was OK..just ok. The glazed onions on the Schnitzel did not make tasty sense. Why all monitors off? No flight info or sports..

A little gem just before you get into the airport, to be found upstairs in Terminal 1 Squaire! Really attentive service, and very tasty salad bowls and starters (that’s all I’ve had on my visits). Nice to sit here and watch the world go by in front of you too!

Was there for lunch today with colleagues. The restaurant is friendly and bright and invites you to stay - BUT it was very cold in the restaurant. We left our jackets on while we ate because it was just uncomfortably cold. The food itself - we had pastrami sandwich, burger and schnitzel - was good. Was really tasty.

Good food, good ambience, but unmotivated staff. There are no questions, neither whether you want to order nor whether you want to pay. Unfortunately, that's no fun.

Good food at a reasonable price. I tried the Chicken Tikka Massala, which had a very creamy and delicious sauce and tender chicken meat. Portion size is ok, only the papadam came as a single small chip. There could have been two or three more. The ambience is very inviting and offers a variety of seating options from chairs to couches and armchairs to bar stools. Although the restaurant was full that day, the food arrived very quickly after ordering. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, at the time of this post there was no way to view the map online. The link provided by the owner didn't work, the pictures from other guests showed outdated maps. The card is a big plus. Burgers, wraps, salads, bowls, tarte flambée, schnitzels, curries... everyone should find something here, even for larger groups. Unfortunately there is no WiFi/Wlan available.

Saturday brunch: Selection of food is ok, a bit expensive but airport prices. I prefer fried and scrambled eggs warm, but good. Something new. The fact that you end up trying to bill primary school children under 8 years of age as adults is rather embarrassing. However, a shift manager who completely ignores the minimum physical distance and behaves completely disrespectfully towards paying guests is completely wrong. Let's not do that for a while...

I was here again today for almost three years. Ordered the pastrami sandwich and a coffee. The staff was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the coffee was undrinkable and the so-called pastrami sandwich had nothing to do with a pastrami sandwich, 4 miserable slices of pastrami, which were also cold and tasted like a refrigerator.

La última vez que mi esposa y yo cenamos aquí fue en enero de 2024. Nos gusta mucho este lugar. Esta vez obtuvieron una calificación de cinco, ya que realmente nos encantó nuestra comida. Opté por Piccata Milanese con filete de pechuga de pollo perfectamente sartén - pan frito sobre lingüina en una salsa de tomate al ajo con Grana Padano. Mi esposa seleccionó la lasaña de salmón de espinacas con una ensalada de acompañamiento. Disfrutamos de una buena copa de vino blanco seco para una noche perfecta.

We've been there a few times with the family for Sunday brunch and breakfast. We are always warmly welcomed by the staff and well looked after. Above all, the friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The ambience of a global airport is included for free. Try it out, highly recommended.

What an awful experience. Paid 17 Euro for Falfal Bowl. It was easily the most overpriced and least tasty falafal Bowl I ever had. To add insult to the injury there was no bread with it. Paid 7 euros extra for the bread. Again it was the most overpriced and worst quality bread I ever had. It was just four slices of low quality baguette. The restaurant was almost empty. We were there during peak lunch hours and the restaurant was 90 percent empty.

The food, service and ambience are truly first class. The price for the brunch is high but justified. However, we have been there twice now and each time the coupons for the parking garage (which only covers 50% of the parking ticket) were "unfortunately out" So you pay €20.90 (Sunday brunch) + drinks Additional 15€ parking costs. That ruins the great food at the ticket counter... Too bad...

Now we had breakfast at Alex for the first time. The food was okay, but the pepper that was on display had expired for over a year (11/2023). We had to actively order additional drinks because the waitress simply never asked if we wanted something to drink. It's a shame because there was very little going on. The buffet selection was sufficient. I would have liked a little more “fish”. There were no small spoons for breakfast eggs or cereal - I ate my latte macchiato with the spoon. Overall the staff was friendly but a little undermotivated. The surroundings are okay but a few cosmetic repairs or a little more emphasis on cleanliness could be placed (examples...toilet mirrors: the frame has a lot of stains, the limescale around the sinks could be less, flaws on the doors and walls could be repaired quickly) .

Very nice and attractively furnished. Compared to Skyline Plaza there is a lot of space. Not so condensed. In my opinion, the selection of dishes for breakfast is smaller than that in the Plaza. We had breakfast there today, on Christmas, and were horrified that the heating wasn't on and there was a draft everywhere. When asked why this was the case, the explanation was that the Squaire (landlord) had turned off the heating. And that at an outside temperature of 3°C. Unbelievable, but unfortunately true.

We were here for brunch today. Restaurant was full. The service was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast offerings as well as the hot dishes were very extensive and good. The price/performance ratio is great. Full recommendation, we will definitely come back

Waited 20 minutes for the conditions to take the order. Even though you were seen and there wasn't much going on. I don't have that much time when I'm passing through. Worst service. Then I went to one of the restaurants next door where it worked much better. Unfortunately, food at Alex is minimum quality at a premium price. Will avoid the store in the future. Kind regards

Excellent rating for the Alex restaurant in Frankfurt Airport I would like to express my enthusiasm and gratitude for the Alex restaurant at Frankfurt Airport and especially for the exceptional hospitality of Imane, the operations manager. I forgot my jacket on vacation on a cold day when the temperature dropped below zero. At that moment, Imane showed true warmth and gave me a warm blanket. This gesture touched me deeply and made me feel like I was not just a guest, but like I was welcome at home. I was also served a chamomile tea, which not only tasted excellent, but in combination with the warm atmosphere was like a hug in the winter cold. The Alex restaurant stands out for its service that is not only professional but also incredibly humane. Imane and her team live hospitality at the highest level and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - not only for the delicious food and drinks, but also for the exceptional attention and warmth offered here. I ordered a blueberry soda, I got a lemon soda, I ordered a children's menu and we didn't get anything. The waitress saw us exactly twice when we ordered and when we left she didn't ask if everything was good or if we wanted something else. The store is nice but the service is terrible. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Service seems to be completely overwhelmed. Beer was stale and not a "light" as ordered but stale wheat beer. There was no more drink service after that. Had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. Cutlery and plates were permanently empty

Unfortunately, the beer was stale (it had been on the bar for 10 minutes) and they only poured a new crown and claimed it was fresh. Food is good.

Sad. This place was good once. Well, at least it was the one time we went, late Covid. It's now awful in basic food (Schnitzel classic, I've had a lot better from the Imbissbude at any train station; or the Nachos, a joke of burnt, salted Doritos with cheese wiz and a few jalapeno slices). I remember the Schnitzel being great, the curry was good, the burger... didn't try those this time, so maybe there's file. But the service was a joke too, like most places now; theee folks have never received even basic training, they seem surprised to see international guests, surprised that you want food, surprised that you have questions about the menu. Oh, the G&Ts were fantastic, in a big tallboy! Though they ran out of Tanqueray. Not the lack of it but the fact itself: you have multiple premium gins on the menu, you charge a hefty price for the drink, and you can't keep your liquor stocked?? Tells me all I need to know about how incompetently this place is managed, and why it's gone downhill. Next time, I'm going to try the Paulaner across which is likely cheaper too.

Suddenly, after the hectic pace of the airport and long-distance train station, you are in an oasis of peace at The Squaire West and can make yourself comfortable on brown sofas and enjoy the hip atmosphere at Alex. Unfortunately, the worst iced coffee ever is served - lukewarm coffee with a bunch of cream. Unfortunately, they had completely forgotten about the ice cream.

Food was good, prices were what you would expect from the airport. The downside is when you go to pay you are asked about including a tip to your bill. After living in Germany for multiple years I've never been asked or felt pressured to tip. This restaurant clearly caters to Americans and their tipping culture.

What do you expect from a restaurant where it takes 2 emails and 3 calls over a week until you finally get an answer for an interview. Then you take the train there specifically and then they say that the person responsible had to spontaneously go to a doctor's appointment for reasons and didn't have the number to cancel. You could have written an email, but that seems too complicated. What we saw was that she supposedly didn't see/receive two emails. Furthermore, I sat there for a quarter of an hour and none of the conditions even remotely suited me. They saw me and ignored me. I won't get a refund for my train ticket either. I'm pissed off.

We stayed at Alex with a small group before flying on vacation. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended for vegans for brunch, there is almost nothing vegan at the buffet! According to the waiter, even the rolls are all made with milk. When we asked, we were told that the vegan bowls from the menu would only be available from 12 p.m. and that the kitchen would not be willing to make an exception (the waiter said he would get in trouble if he asked in the kitchen) . So since we had no food option at all in this restaurant, we stuck with drinks and had to buy food at the supermarket. The service was inattentive and didn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. What a shame!

As there are very limited options on having authentic German cuisine at the airport and I was staying overnight I went to Alex‘. I know this chain from when I lived in Germany and even then I found it ok.There are better options in Germany but in this area of the airport? Not sure. I had the Currywurst with fries and a Apfelsaftschorle (Applejuice mixed with sparkling water). The Sauce of the Currywurst was a bit too thin and the drink was a bit too pricey IMO. But everything tasted great and Service and atmosphere were good as well.

All the staff were very child-friendly! From warming up porridge to playing in the children's corner. Food was also good - we had the superfood bowls. One point deducted because the coffee ☕️ was unfortunately inedible. I don't know what went wrong...

Great value for money. Really nice food and lots to choose from. We ate here about 7/9 times over 2 weeks. Service is good but a bit slow during busy hours, so not recommende if you're on a schedule.

The waitress (the young man with Spanish roots, if I remember correctly) is super friendly. He puts you in a good mood and we come back to eat because of him. Having someone like that is a blessing in today's times. I hope the boss reads this. The food was also delicious and came promptly.

Friendly hosts and super good Thai curry

Food very good. Service absolutely underground. Nobody comes to the table, only one drink in 2 hours, even though the place wasn't full. Repeat orders only upon request at the counter. It's a shame for a restaurant with such a great atmosphere. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all...

The quality of the food is okay. Unfortunately there is not enough staff. 2 waitresses and 1 bar employee are not enough. The female staff present was nice, the male staff seemed rather neutral. Unfortunately, I had to wait twenty minutes for my bill and the person sitting next to me had to wait around 20 minutes before he could even order anything. Empty plates are not cleared away and you are not asked if you would like something else to drink. Of course you can tell the waitress this, but people are used to something different in a restaurant. Unfortunately, I also noticed that the mood within the HR team wasn't the best. Since this wasn't the first time I've been there, I'll avoid this restaurant in the future and also try other ALEX restaurants across Germany. My request to ALEX: Hire more staff, then hopefully things will go better.

Bisher waren wir mit dem Service sowohl auch vom Essen recht zufrieden. Heute haben wir aber leider eine schlechte Erfahrung gemacht die ich ihr gerne teilen möchte. Service Bedienung und die Freundlichkeit hat sehr nachgelassen. Als wir uns nach einem freien Platz umsahen waren alle Tische mit Reservierungskarten versehen. Der Laden war leer bis auf 4-5 Tische. Man durfte sich nirgendwo hinsetzen. Es gab so gut wie keine Tische, wo kein Zettel drauf war. Letztendlich beschlossen wir uns doch, an einem Tisch zu setzen. Sofort kam die Bedienung und meinte, die Tische sind besetzt obwohl weit und breit keiner zu sehen war. Auch nicht nach guten 2 Stunden die wir dort saßen. Diesen Laden werden wir auf keinen Fall wieder betreten und werden uns nach besseren alternativen umschauen. Gastfreundlichkeit geht anders .Sehr schade

Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Price per person €20.90 (excluding drinks) including a glass of orange nectar. Plenty of choice at the buffet. Croissants, rolls, bread, pretzels, various cheese, various cream cheese, various cold cuts, salmon, liver sausage, Mettwurst, tomato-mozzarella, cucumbers, tomatoes, leaf lettuce including salad dressings, antipasti, bulgur salad and other salads, eggs (boiled, Fried egg ...), bacon, sausages, sliced ​​fruit, yogurt, mini donuts & muffins, small. Pancakes, soup, spaetzle, fried potatoes, sliced ​​meat, chili con carne, ... a really big selection and everything beautifully prepared. There is something for everybody. The quality is good and the food at the buffet is constantly rearranged and replenished. The drinks from the menu are really tasty and good. Coffee, hot chocolate with cream, various juices, lemonade, iced tea... The waitresses are friendly and attentive. You can park in “The Square” car park and then take the train to “The Square”. Tip: Pay the parking ticket directly in Alex and then “pay” directly at the parking machine with the additional card. We often come here for breakfast and will continue to do so. This morning we had brunch with 5 people (3 adults and 2 children) at ALEX at the airport in Frankfurt. Due to the high parking fees (5€/hour), we asked upon arrival whether there was a parking ticket discount for ALEX guests for the parking garage. The employee told us that at the end he could give us a 50% discount on the parking ticket when we paid. When we wanted to leave and asked about the discount, the employee we paid to (shift manager of the shift this morning, February 11, 2024) told us that there would be no discount on the parking tickets. We were told that there were five parking tickets that would be given to the 5 people who asked for them first. We pointed out to the shift manager several times that we had already asked for a parking discount over 3 hours before, when the restaurant was still almost empty, and we were guaranteed a 50% discount. There was no mention of a limited contingent of tickets in advance. The shift manager also said several times that she didn't understand what we wanted from her. Thanks to €40 in top for two parking spaces, what was actually a lovely morning unfortunately now has a bitter aftertaste. In the future we would like to have breakfast somewhere else - we are sure that we would have found a much more upscale alternative for €40 more.

We were here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was moderately busy and we were able to choose a place quickly. After we had to wait a while for our order to be taken, the drinks and food arrived quickly. I took a Currywurst Deluxe. I would classify these as okay in terms of taste and would have liked a little more sausage and curry. The deluxe fries including truffle mayo were good. Conclusion: You can go here for a meal at the airport.

Die Getränke kamen noch in einer akzeptablen Zeit (ca. 20 min.) Das wars dann...., nach mehreren Versuchen und Bitten eine Essensbestellung aufzugeben wurden wir total ignoriert. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was subpar. The restaurant was not very busy, but no employee felt approached to serve us. Then after we stared at the employees someone came. We had the connecting flight at FRA. At 11AM on Sunday, this restaurant offered the Sunday brunch at 18.9 EUR. We had the brunch there. The staffs were very busy and didn’t come to us. Therefore, we sat down by ourselves. There are many dishes for the Sunday brunch. The location is above DB station and we took there by the escalator.

My wife and I dined here the night before we flew to Romania for Halloween. We had dined here before and really enjoyed our meals. We were fortunate to get the same waitress from a couple of years before. I forget her name, but she is originally from Africa. My wife ordered the Thai red curry while I went with the chicken Tikka Masala. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine before heading back to the hotel. The menu is not extensive, but the offerings are delicious.

Alex New Year's Eve was a failure!

Meine beste Freundin und ich waren hier zur Silvester-Veranstaltung. Da wir vor einigen Jahren mal dort waren, als es uns sehr gut gefallen hat, haben wir uns erneut hierfür entschieden. Dieser Jahreswechsel hat mich so sehr frustriert, dass sogar das Silvester während Corona mit Ausgangssperre besser war. Den zweiten Stern gebe ich hier ausschließlich aufgrund des Küchenteams. Zwar war das Essen ähnlich wie Kantinenessen. Aber das habe ich im Alex auch genau so erwartet, da das Á la carte Geschäft auch so ist. Allerdings war das Küchenpersonal kontinuierlich dabei, die Menge am Buffet zu kontrollieren und aufzufüllen. Wie aber auch schon in den vorherigen Rezensionen zu lesen, war der Service und auch die Qualität der Getränke die reinste Katastrophe. Die Mitarbeitenden mit fragwürdiger Arbeitskleidung musste man persönlich aufsuchen, um etwas bestellen zu können. Mehrfach waren diese zu zweit oder zu dritt gemeinsam vor der Tür am Rauchen. Die Chefin, eine Dame mit sympathischer Ausstrahlung, saß bei ihren Freundinnen am Tisch. Höflich habe ich sie auf den Service aufmerksam gemacht, in dem ich gefragt habe, ob man sich die Getränke hier selbst holen muss. Sie sagte, dass die Angestellten dafür zuständig sein und hat dann bemerkt, dass an allen Tischen rundherum die Getränke leer waren und die Gläser sich häufen. Daraufhin hat sie ihr Personal sensibilisiert und der Service war für die folgende Stunde solide. Sie fragte mich dann, ob die Kolleg/innen nun besser arbeiten würden. Anscheinend schien das nun meine anstatt ihrer Aufgabe zu sein?! Sie ist dann gegen 23 Uhr mit ihren Freunden in einem Uber weggefahren. Dass dann gar nichts mehr lief, war klar. Um Punkt 2 Uhr wurden dann alle Gäste hinausgebeten und bereits abgeräumt. Musikgeschmäcker sind sehr verschieden und sich über die Musik zu beschweren, ist immer schwierig. Der Job eines DJs ist echt schwierig. Dass nur kurzzeitig getanzt wurde, bereits um 22 Uhr Macarena ausgepackt werden musste und danach nur noch einzelne, übermüdete Kinder auf der Tanzfläche rumsprangen, macht die Stimmung deutlich. Es ist aber ein Zusammenspiel zwischen dem katastrophalen, frustrierenden Service und minderwertigen Getränken. Da kann keine gute Stimmung aufkommen. Viele Gäste sind bereits vor 24 Uhr gegangen. Lediglich unser erstklassige Hotelaufenthalt im Mariott hat unseren Aufenthalt dort gerettet. Die Silvester-Veranstaltung war so schlecht, dass diese uns und vermutlich vielen anderen Gästen noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Ich hatte das „ALEX-Silvester-Paket“ im Squaire für 89€ pro Person gebucht. Leider war dies ein sehr großer Fehler und ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht. Das „Buffet“ bestand aus vier verschiedenen Vorspeisen, fünf Hauptgerichten im schlechten Kantinen-Standard und zwei Desserts. Das Buffet war sowohl geschmacklich, als auch quantitativ unterirdisch und entsprach keineswegs unseren Erwartungen. Zudem kam, dass es auf der beschränkten Getränkekarte keinerlei Cocktails oder Limonaden gab. Zu dem mangelhaften Essen und der beschränkten Getränkeauswahl kam dann noch ein unfassbar schlechter Service. Unsere Service-Kraft kam in 3 Stunden Anwesenheit zweimal an unseren Tisch, und das auch nur nach unserer Aufforderung. Er war lustlos und begrüßte uns nicht einmal. Besteck und Teller wurden über Stunden nicht abgeräumt. Die anwesende „Chefin“ schien sich ebenfalls nicht um die zahlreichen unzufriedenen Gäste zu kümmern, und vergnügte sich lieber mit befreundeten Gästen am Nachbartisch. Insgesamt war das Sivester-Special nie im Leben 89€ wert und ich fühle mich abgezockt und betrogen. Ich werde das ALEX Frankfurt The Squaire nicht wieder besuchen und kann es auch niemanden empfehlen!!!

Feel like I should clarify some things. 1. The waiters are super friendly unless you are someone who acts like "there are people for that" in every day life. 2. Considering that they are located in the airport area and open on holidays and sundays (in germany) the prices are reasonable. 3. It's winter, a nice mulled wine was similar in price to that in the Christmas markets outside in the nearby cities. Can't complain, besides the various hotel restaurants and bars will charge 25%+ for the same drink with a lower quality. 4. The prices for some of the drinks seemed expensive and then they brought out almost two glasses worth of handmade mixed lemonade style drink for the person. I would encourage you to disregard the negative reviews and keep in mind that it is an airport restaurant.

Way overpriced convenience food, that's not cooking... Just one of those places where they heat up factory made food and put a high priced tag on it. My "superfood" salmonbowl consisted of 4 tiny pieces of Salmon, smoked and cold out of the icebox, fishbones still in the fish together with lukewarm sweet rice in the middle (why sweet??) some salad...€17! €, not Super at all...super disappointing. Beverages also way overpriced.

Ich war nun schon öfters hier, doch heute war ich dann wirklich zun letzten mal hier. Hatte die Chicken Karaage Bowl und den Bernsteiner Kürbis Burger, mein Kollege den Cheeseburger. Gegen die Bowl ist nichts einzuwenden, kleine Portion für diesen Preis, doch das Fleisch im Burger war ein kompletter Reinfall! Zeh, zusammengepresst (nicht frisch), geschmacklos, überhaupt nicht saftig/sehr trocken und gummiartige Konsistenz. Die 2 Sterne vergebe ich für die Bowl und die Limo. Es war nicht viel los im Restaurant, trotzdem wurden wir weder während dem Essen gefragt ob es schmeckt noch ob wir etwas als Nachtisch haben wollen; daher hier auch kein zusätzlicher Stern Leider für diese Essens Erfahrung viel zu teuer! Sehr schade, wir kommen nicht mehr wieder und können es auch nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zum Sonntagsbrunch dort, alles top! Preis-Leistung passt, nette Angestellte, nette Atmosphäre!

Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich, obwohl sie viel Stress hatte. Brunchangebot war sehr gut, leider zu wenig Personal, um wieder aufzufüllen. Veganes Angebot, mehr wie dürftig. Schade

Took waiter 10 min to come to our table. Another 10 to bring our beers and get order. Another 15 to bring order. My schnitzel was inedible. It tasted foul. I told waiter that meat was spoiled. He said they get it frozen. I think somewhere on the way in transport it got defrosted and spoiled. Ordered drink with desert. Never got it. When I enquired he told me they run out of one of the ingredients. Each time I had to look around and ask him to come over. Worst service ever, on top of worst schnitzel ever.

Wir waren auf Nahrungssuche auf dem Frankfurter Flughafen. ... nur Fastfood was wir alle kennen. Und dann ... auf den Tip von einer freundlichen Polizistin ... diese Empfehlung. Wirklich super Preis/Leistung Verhältnis. Alles frisch zubereitet und mega lecker. Nette Bedinung oben drauf. Also wir kommen gerne wieder.

Auch im Frankfurter Fernbahnhof gibt es ruhige und saubere Ecken, in denen man entspannt auf seinen Zug oder Flug warten kann. Eine Empfehlung ist da ganz sicher das Alex im oberen Westflügel des Squaire. Die Speisekarte sollte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei haben und die Preise sind unerwartet niedrig für solch eine Location. Essen und Trinken kommt rasch auf den Tisch, denn das Personal ist aufmerksam und auch noch sehr freundlich. Das Essen selbst wird liebevoll angerichtet, kann jedoch nicht voll überzeugen. Bänke, Stühle und Tische sind einladend und bequem. Außerdem wird nach jedem Gast gründlich gereinigt.

Tolle Lokation und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wenn man am Flughafen etwas essen möchte

We were staying at the Hilton in The Squaire so walked over for dinner one night. The location is nice and the restaurant has cute decor and lots of seating options (tables w/ chairs, tables w/sofas, etc). No one is really there to greet you when you arrive so we were unsure whether we should just seat ourselves our wait for someone to seat us. We wandered towards the back and asked the bartender who told us we could sit anywhere. Menus have German titles, but also have a description in English. It took awhile for the waitress to come by our table, but she was very friendly and spoke great English. The food didn't come out quickly, but I think there is an overall lack of staff. Our food was okay- not great, but not bad- and was reasonably priced. I would almost describe it as a little nicer than a Denny's - kind of generic, but you can't really complain for the price. Would I eat there again? I guess.....but we'll probably try the German beer garden that's up there first.

Leider nicht mehr wie es war. Wir haben ewig auf unser Essen & Getränke gewartet. Um 20:50 gab es keine Waffeln mehr (Waffeleisen schon aus!), die Hälfte der Eiskarte war "nicht verfügbar", um 21:20 wurden keine Gäste mehr angenommen, obwohl bis 22 Uhr geöffnet ist. Das Essen war OK, der Service war aber ganz und gar nicht professionell. Sehr schade...

Ich war heute Abend 04.09.23 im Alex Flughafen das Service 😊 ist super freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker nur zum empfehlen 😋 wenn jemand zum Flughafen kommt .eine große Lob an Boushra und seine Team

We have been there several times. Service has vastly improved from the first time we visited when we waited a long time to be served. The menu is large also with a full bar. We had tasty food, good red wine and beer for a very good price. Highly recommended.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Große Essens- und Getränkeauswahl. Personal sehr freundlich. Alle Preise, setzt man die Parkgebühren dagegen, sind angemessen. Wer lediglich den Flughafen besichtigen will und das Alex zur Einkehr beabsichtigt, der sollte das Parkhaus Gateway Gardens (günstigere Parkgebühren) nutzen und eine Station mit der S-Bahn (alle 15 Minuten) bis Terminal 1 fahren.

Einfach schön hier! Selbst die Preise sind sehr fair für Bahnhofsverhältnisse. Bedienung super nett. Homemade Eistee + Currywurst waren top. Es sieht sehr modern und rustikal aus. Alles war sauber.

Essen war lecker und Preis hat alles gepasst, Bier etwas teurer allerdings Lokation gemütlich im Flughafen von Frankfurt.
