I went out to eat with my daughter and her friend, the food was very good

Nice ambience. If there is a lot going on, it can take a while (which is normal for me). The food is served attractively and tastes good. Price performance is also okay.

Large selection, delicious food and super friendly staff. Our waitress Lily-Fleur S. was great. She served us well. A negative point, however, are the toilets. They could be neater and cleaner. Otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant.

When we are in Dortmund we always stay there for a few hours after shopping. Delicious food, great atmosphere and a little drink - always a nice end to the evening

Sat for a total of 30 minutes for three drinks. The waiter couldn't speak english sadly. When arriving the order wasn't right at all and the staff didn't know their own drink card. Very dissapointing

We had a really cozy meal and a pleasant atmosphere and despite the fact that our waitress Caro was very busy, she was very friendly and attentive.

I was unfortunately disappointed with my first visit to ALEX in Dortmund. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The dust on the ceiling, around the ventilation shafts, and on the ceiling lights was particularly noticeable, giving a very unclean impression. The restroom was also in poor condition – there was dirt lying around that urgently needed to be cleaned, the floor was dirty, and it was very unpleasant. The service staff tried hard, but the atmosphere was not very inviting.

Great food, very friendly staff and the space in the middle of the city is excellent. When it's warm you can sit outside and it's lovely inside too! Worth it, recommended!

The food was actually okay and came quickly. The burger was also pretty good, though nothing special. Since it was a Sunday, we quickly noticed the happy hour, which we really liked. So we wanted to order our cocktails as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we had already waited about 15 minutes before we could order. When we finally ordered, we waited about 45 minutes for our drinks while the servers were flirting at the other tables. We waited another 15 minutes to pay, so I didn't really enjoy our stay. The price was actually okay.

The food and cocktails were excellent, prepared with love and skill. Unfortunately, the friendly waiter was all alone and didn't know where to start, but he somehow managed without seeming annoyed or unfriendly, and therefore got full marks for service. The ambience only gets 4 points, as one or two pieces of furniture could use replacing.

Very nice breakfast buffet with good price/performance ratio. Additional drinks are a bit expensive, over €6 for a 0.5l apple spritzer. Service is outstanding, Jamie served us well. Dogs are also welcome here and are provided with water without asking. Top!

Service is horrible. I've been here a few times and it's just getting worse every time at come. The food and drinks are quite good, but it's not worth it when you have to wait 15 minutes to get served and 15 more minutes when you have to pay.

Best spot in Dortmund if you just want to chill, but you can also go here for a fancy meal. I come here at least once a week with the girls and have never had any problems; the service is always top-notch.
