Wonderfully delicious Sunday brunch! A lovely atmosphere, relaxing music from the 1930s, and very stylishly presented dishes. The service is attentive and friendly. We'd love to go again!

The breakfast was simply delicious and very fresh. A very large selection, with something for everyone. The ambiance is tempting. The service is very attentive and friendly. Children are very welcome.

There were 8 of us guys there. We sat down at a table and waited for an hour until someone came to take our order. A woman who was in charge of a different area came. We took our order from her. Half an hour later, a man who was in charge of our area came and said, "What do you want?" We said we already have 8 iced and 8 hot drinks. He said that drinks could take a while. They said, "We've been at this table for an hour and they haven't come." In the end, we got 4 hot drinks but no ice. After an hour, there was still nothing. Other people came later and left earlier than us. In the end, we staggered through it all and just left and the man said, "Please write a good review."

Despite the busy New Year's Eve crowds, the service was excellent, with very friendly staff who brought the ordered food and drinks very quickly. The food was fantastic, and the drinks selection was excellent.

I would especially like to mention our waitress, Lily, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She took the time to answer our questions and was always there with a smile. Thanks to her, we felt completely at ease. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and arrived promptly. The drinks menu also offers a great selection. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – I'd love to come back!

I had a good experience! The food was delicious and nicely presented — you can tell they pay attention to both taste and design. The atmosphere was also pleasant and relaxed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Still, the quality of the food and the friendly team made up for it. I’d definitely come back again!

We've eaten at Alex several times. The food was always delicious, and we felt comfortable. The last time we were there was on June 14th. We were served by Giuseppe L. He was very attentive, friendly, and treated us as guests appropriately. Overall, all the employees there are very hard-working and constantly on the go. However, they keep an overview and serve customers in a friendly manner. This is by no means a given these days. Therefore, 5 stars for Alex, as both the service and the food and drinks are really good.

The cocktails were absolutely fantastic. The prices are especially good during happy hour. The staff and service are also top-notch. Hopefully, you'll get waitress Caro on your visit, then your visit will be even more relaxing. <3

A very nice restaurant. Great atmosphere and a nice brunch buffet. The music wasn't that good, reminiscent of elevator music or a phone hold. The women's restrooms are also underground, with loose toilet lids and seats. It wasn't in great condition.

The carrot cake is delicious. Completely overloaded with tables and chairs. The women's restroom (for female customers only) is a complete disaster. Employees divided into departments. Prices are downtown. Not recommended if you want a relaxing drink after work.

Alex is always a good idea for brunch and cocktails. The matcha latte was phenomenal We also got really great service from Giuseppe. He was really attentive and kind.

Simply top-notch. Caroline, Maria, David, Joyce, Cedric, and Betty are simply top-notch staff. I've rarely experienced such friendliness. Thanks to the wonderful team!

The service and breakfast were good, and the hotel was very friendly and helpful. However, the "Alex" is listed as wheelchair accessible on its website. Unfortunately, this isn't true; the entrance has steps, and there's no accessible restroom. This can only be reached by elevator when staff is present. The breakfast buffet is also very high, making it difficult for people with disabilities to reach it and operate independently. I would be very happy if there were a solution for everyone in the future.

Alex is a good place to meet people. The waiters are all very friendly, and the menu is varied. However, it can sometimes get very loud and crowded, which is made even more so by the music. It's best to visit Alex during the week in the afternoon.

Great service from Yara! The mocktails we ordered arrived super quickly and were delicious.

Not recommended, at Extra Blatt an espresso costs €2.75 and of course you get a free glass of water as is appropriate with an espresso, at Alex they ask you “with water?” of course you answer with a somewhat surprised “yes” as a glass of water is normal with an espresso. You get a sip of espresso and a tiny bottle of water with a glass, the water is still and you can get it straight from the tap, but it costs more than the espresso (if I remember correctly €3.90) for two small glasses of water. The final price is €7.20 for a mini espresso and a small drink similar to tap water WITHOUT saying beforehand that it costs extra, which no one who regularly visits a coffee shop expects. Again the comparison to Extra Blatt, which is one of the best shops in this area, here you pay €2.75 for an espresso with a biscuit and a glass of water, at Alex you pay almost three times as much: €7.20 which is shocking in comparison. The ambience, the price-performance ratio, the locations, the quality and not to forget the friendliness that I have felt so far at every Extra Blatt is unbelievable, you receive a warmth and with Alex a coldness and a big bill for NOTHING

A great store in itself! But... I was the victim of an assault at Alex. They asked me to call the police, but they said, "It's not our job." So, unfortunately, I'm completely out of luck now!! The staff that evening was a disaster! It's a shame that people are like that.
