Orient Restaurant in Dortmund

We called at 6:30 p.m. to order. We didn't get the food until 9 p.m. We called at 8 p.m. and were told that the tire was probably broken but was now on its way. We ordered four shawarmas and they didn't contain anything either; they were just super thin, a hint of nothing. It simply didn't taste like shawarma. After waiting for two hours, we were kindly given the sauce for free, which they had previously charged €2 for. Don't order from here because it doesn't taste good and takes far too long.

Very tasty selection available, and very good prices. I can recommend it. 😋

We have been ordering here regularly for a long time and are thrilled every time! The food is simply outstanding, and the grill master is a master at his craft - he never ceases to amaze us. One thing is for sure, this definitely won't be the last time we eat here with the family!

The food is very good, frankly, and clean

If I could, I wouldn't give a single star! We ordered sharuma and everything arrived full of oil. The flatbread was even MOIST. The food tasted like falafel, which was nowhere near what we ordered. Our Schaurma didn't have Mal's garlic sauce even though that was our order. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The restaurant is more of a chip shop with a delivery service. Simply furnished with wooden tables and chairs. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable. The food and tea were delicious. Order and pay at the counter but food was brought to the table.

Very bad experience! I ordered my food at 7:00 p.m. and it was supposed to be delivered at 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until 9:30 p.m., an hour late. When the food finally arrived it was cold and absolutely inedible. The meat in the shawarma was blackened and the fries were so hard they felt like wood. I was expecting better quality and service but was very disappointed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this provider.

The food was very bad, it only tasted like spices, and I kept waiting half an hour to eat even though there was no crowd and I was not asking for anything other than a meal.

I ordered on my brother's recommendation. I was very skeptical at first - good oriental delivery food is hard to find. We chose the grill menu for 4 people. 9 skewers, rice, grilled tomatoes and pepperoni, mixed/small salad bowl, coleslaw and Arabic bread! 😍You could choose 4 sauces (selection: garlic, spicy and hummus). I have attached pictures of the food here. Grilled food takes time and so does delivery, so more than about 60 minutes was totally fine. In addition, it was a Sunday afternoon, which is very busy. The food was warm, very tasty and the delivery person was super friendly! ❤️ I would love to order from you more often in the future! 😊 Since it was a delivery, I couldn't judge the ambience.

I was very hungry on Saturday and decided to eat here and I can say that if you don't eat here it's your own fault. I have a large mixed grill plate with bread, Ordered various sauces and salad and of course hoped to be full. Juicy, delicious grilled meat, delicious chips and bread and all the sauces I wanted were included and the delicious meat from the charcoal was simply a mega highlight. The ambience is simply great, a beautifully maintained restaurant where you can eat outside when the weather is nice, which is what I did. Very friendly, personable staff and the food was simply fresh and delicious, I was really impressed, I have to say that if you don't eat here it's your own fault. The owner is extremely personable, sweet, friendly and funny. You feel at home here. Definitely one of the best restaurants in NRW and highly recommended.

I am very dissatisfied and angry. I ordered at 10:27 p.m. and now it's 12:24 a.m. - my order still hasn't arrived! Are you serious? Two hours for two sandwiches? I even called at 11:40pm and was told delivery was on the way. Then where is it? Even if the food was delicious, I would never order from this restaurant again! NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered because of the good rating on Lieferando and was extremely disappointed.. the chicken was no longer edible, it tasted like it was 3 days old.. (chicken in the shawarma) the crispy chicken was everything else but not crispy! I don't even need to start with the salad, it was probably a week old. I honestly don't know how you can go to sleep in peace when you sell something like that to your customers with a clear conscience! Apart from all that, we ordered at 7 p.m. and the food wasn't there until 9 p.m. When I called at 7:30 p.m. to ask, my food was already packed, so I left it packed for over an hour? I hope you just go broke and close this honestly can't be true may Allah punish you for that

We have ordered several times, always extremely nice suppliers and the food is delicious every time, the salads are also very fresh and tasty, different sauces, all in all great, we will definitely order again!

I have never experienced anything like it. 1 and a half hours waiting for our food plus it arrived cold and was really salty and bad. The food smells and tastes like washing up. If someone doesn't want to have salmonella or some other stomach ache, never order from here.. I'll never do it again!!!

Something like that came to someone who had already eaten it.. Cold and tastes like Domestos.. Salad is already like 1 week old, it's unusual for people to give something like that. I didn't even give something like that for my Hung!! Never again

We have ordered online several times and have always been satisfied. The hummus is super delicious and today we had a crispy plate with rice for the first time... that was the tastiest rice of our lives and I definitely need the recipe! 😅

I just ordered food and am disappointed. Chicken burnt and not seasoned. Fries are so hard that they are rock hard. And for that I waited 1:30 hours.

Soooo good food and really nice people. I only recently dined there for the first time; nowhere else in the area does the falafel taste so incredibly good. So good that I even meet friends there by chance who are also getting something to eat. Because it only tastes SO GOOD there. Only recommended!

Orient Raustaurant ist unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Dortmund. Es schmeckt soooo lecker dort und die Mitarbeiter sind ultra nett. Wichtig ist, dass man auch vegane Sachen abstauben kann. Ich würde dem Laden gerne 10Sterne geben wenn ich könnte.

Die Falafel gerichte und der Humus sind wirklich umwerfend gut. Auch der Service ist super. Vorallem der Betreiber ist super nett. Ich kanns wirklich jedem empfehlen. Vor allem das Falafel Sandwich und der Falafel Arabi Teller sind sehr lecker und für Veganer geeignet. In jedem Punkt perfekt

Absolute Frechheit! Bestellt für 8 Personen über Lieferando, wo alles schwarz auf weiß nachzulesen ist. Die Bestellung dann so zu verhauen ist schon eine Kunst für sich. Die Gerichte entsprachen nicht der Beschreibung und waren auch absolut ungenießbar. Portionen waren zudem lächerlich klein. 0 Sterne wären angebrachter, aber geht leider nicht. Ganz klar nicht weiterzuempfehlen!!!

Haben da mit 10 Personen für über 100€ bestellt die Portionen sind absolut winzig. Ich selbst habe ein veganen Hamburger Teller bestellt der Burger war widerlich und zu den wenigen Pommes gab es keine Soße. Ein Kumpel hat sich eine Orient Platte geholt statt Lamm gab es Chicken Wings die teils nicht durch und teils verbrannt waren und einen undefinierbaren Hackspieß. Wir sind alle danach noch wo anders essen gegangen um satt zu werden. Insgesamt sind wir alle sehr enttäuscht gewesen und wir können nur davon abraten dort zu bestellen oder Essen zu gehen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen 👎!

Ich haben bestellt gemacht Pommes mit Döner s, aber bekommen nix von ksrzikken. Aber ich nicht, schlecht nicht essen

Wir haben gerade dort bestellt und waren ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Portionen waren klein und haben nicht zum satt werden gereicht. In manchen Gerichten wurden Zutaten vergessen, die bestellt waren. In manchen Gerichten waren Zutaten drin, die nicht aufgeführt waren. Zudem war das Essen auch nicht wirklich lecker und von minderer Qualität. Wir werden da nicht mehr bestellen.

Ich hab gerade in einer großen Gruppe von 10 Leuten eine Bestellung von über 100 Euro getätigt. Ich persönlich habe mir eine Portion Currywurst Pommes bestellt für 8 Euro. Die Pommes waren extrem salzig, die Currywurst halb verbrannt und nur halb geschnitten. Die Gesamte Portion war extrem klein, wäre nichtmals als Kinderportion durchgegangen. Meine Freunde waren genauso begeistert wie wir. Nie wieder.

Die Preise sind grauenhaft für das was bei der Bestellung ankam Unvollständig, winzige Portionen, viele Verwechslungen Rausgeschmissenes Geld

حشا نعمة رب العالمين زبالة ... لحمة الشاورما طعمها كتير غريب و سيئ من اول عضة بتكره حالك و فيها سائل غريب لا هو الثوم و لا دهنة ... السيخ اكيد اكيد قبل يوم اذا ما تنين ... الفلافل لتكسير الاسنان و بايتة. يعني الفلافل لما تكون بايتة بتنعرف. الخبز بايت. حاطين انه فيك تاخد شاي بالبروشور ببلاش .. اخدوا حق الشاي .. بالاخير بخيل و طعم زبالة اكتر ما تتخيلوا. اللي بيكره حدا يعزمه عليه. و فوق كل هاد سعر صحن الفلافل 9 يورو و فيه بس ستة قطع و مو بالسندويش حاططن فرط. تقيمي اله زبالة جدا و لا انصح به ابدا ابدا ابدا. امانة اللي عنده ولاد لا يشتري من عنده خوفا من التسمم. نعتذر على الاطالة

Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen und haben die orientalische Küche genossen. Typisch Nordstadt. Das Essen war lecker und der Wirt sehr freundlich und hatte immer einen Spruch auf Lager!

Ich bin dort essen gegangen, da ich gesehen habe, dass ein Makali Sandwich draußen auf einer Tafel für 4,50 € im Angebot war und ich dies gerne esse. Dann habe ich also das und eine gegrillte Auberginenpaste (dazu gabs Brot) bestellt. Abgesehen vom Sandwich fand ich die Auberginenpaste gar nicht lecker, schmeckte "abgelaufen!?"..., kann dies also gar nicht empfehlen. Beim Bezahlen merkte ich, dass das Sandwich auf der Speisekarte wohl einen anderen Preis hatte. Die Preise auf der Karte waren handschriftlich geändert.

Die Qualität hat nach dem Umbau nicht nur nachgelassen, sondern auch nicht mehr genießbar. Die Kühlung muss überarbeitet werden, denn die falafel bzw Salat oder sauce war eindeutig schlecht. Besser drauf achten, bevor man sich dort was holt.

Gerade das Angebot vom hähnchen und Lamm sandwich gesehen und dachte ich probiere es mal. Das lammsandwich war sehr lecker besonders die jalapeños und die sauce passen perfekt zum Lamm aber das hähnchen sandwich war Extrems lecker. Unerwartet waren da Avocado mit drin, was super mega geschmeckt hat. Das Fleisch alles war einfach lecker. Perfekt aufjedenfall mal probieren
