Alaska Bar in Berlin

Wir waren dort, um köstlich zu essen und eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen, und wir fanden alles, was wir uns gewünscht hatten: exquisite Tapas und ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Noah, Stipy und Sergio bedienten uns – sie waren unglaublich aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wenn Sie nach Berlin reisen, müssen Sie unbedingt die Bar Alaska besuchen. Verpassen Sie sie nicht! Neben der Mauer, Charlie Point und all den anderen sehenswerten Touristenattraktionen ist gutes Essen natürlich auch wichtig, und die Bar Alaska ist dafür die beste Wahl.

Wir sind aufgrund einer tollen Empfehlung aus Argentinien angereist. Ich sollte vielleicht erwähnen, dass ich kein Veganer bin, und war total überrascht, wie lecker das Essen war! Ganz zu schweigen vom fantastischen Service von Noah, Stipy und Sergio – drei supernette Typen, bei denen wir uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Wenn ihr nach Berlin fahrt, müsst ihr unbedingt die Mauer und die Jungs von der Alaska Bar besuchen. Sonst habt ihr Berlin nicht richtig erlebt! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren dort wegen eines Geburtstags und wurden vom ersten Moment an extrem unfreundlich behandelt. Ich habe überhaupt nicht verstanden, was das Problem war. Wir aßen gerade etwas und warteten auf ein Zeichen. Jedenfalls werde ich nie wiederkommen. Ich kann es nicht fassen, dass sie nicht höflich sein können.

Essen, das einem den Atem raubt und ein ganz besonderes Gefühl auslöst. Wie, die Foie gras ist vegan? Volltreffer, toller Service und super Ambiente.

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren dorthin, es ist mit der Zeit teurer geworden und die Portionen sind jetzt im Vergleich zu früher winzig, aber die Tapas sind köstlich, das Lokal und die Leute, die dort arbeiten, sind super nett.

Gestern, am 20. Juli um 19:00 Uhr, hatten meine Freunde und ich im Alaska eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Wir wollten dort einen Geburtstag feiern und hatten im Voraus einen Tisch für 15 Personen reserviert (die meisten von uns sind Argentinier). Man teilte uns jedoch nicht nur mit, dass unsere Reservierung angeblich nicht akzeptiert werde – mit der völlig unlogischen Begründung, dass Reservierungen für so viele Personen nicht möglich seien (obwohl man problemlos zwei Reservierungen für jeweils sieben oder acht Personen hätte anlegen können) –, sondern sagte uns außerdem, dass wir nur noch bis 20:30 Uhr bleiben dürften. Dabei wurden wir und alle Gäste äußerst unfreundlich behandelt. Obwohl das Lokal genügend freie Plätze hatte, wurden einige von uns über 20 Minuten lang völlig ignoriert und absichtlich nicht bedient, offenbar in der Hoffnung, dass wir das Restaurant von selbst verlassen würden. Ich hoffe aufrichtig, dass dieses Verhalten nicht auf Fremdenfeindlichkeit zurückzuführen war. Wir sprachen dieselbe Sprache wie das Personal, sodass es zu keinem Zeitpunkt Missverständnisse oder Kommunikationsprobleme gab. Was wir erlebt haben, war vielmehr mangelnder Wille, keinerlei Freundlichkeit, ein schlechter Service sowie unhöfliche Gesten und ein unangenehmer Tonfall. Die schlechte Behandlung, die Geringschätzung und die ablehnende Haltung waren für alle Anwesenden deutlich erkennbar. Kurz darauf gingen wir in ein anderes Lokal, wo wir respektvoll behandelt wurden und den Geburtstag schließlich doch noch in angenehmer Atmosphäre feiern konnten. So konnten wir den bitteren Beigeschmack zumindest teilweise hinter uns lassen. Wir werden dieses Lokal definitiv nicht wieder besuchen.

Das Essen war gut, aber das Management und der Service waren katastrophal. Ich hatte eine Woche im Voraus reserviert und meine Fragen und Anmerkungen mitgeteilt. Die Reservierung wurde am nächsten Tag bestätigt, trotzdem versuchte ich mehrmals anzurufen, um meine Fragen zu klären, aber niemand ging ans Telefon. Am selben Tag, meinem Geburtstag, erhielt ich einen Anruf, dass ich nicht länger als 2,5 Stunden bleiben könne. Ich kam dem nach und bat meine Freunde, pünktlich zu sein, anstatt dass die Gäste nacheinander eintreffen, um zu vermeiden, dass zu viele Personen am Tisch sitzen. Meine Reservierung war für 8 bis 10 Personen, wir bekamen aber nur einen Tisch für 6. Das Personal war sichtlich genervt und machte keinen Hehl daraus. Es war so schlimm, dass ich nach einer Stunde mit meinen Freunden gehen musste. Hätten sie meine Nachricht gelesen, wäre das alles vermeidbar gewesen. Wirklich schlechtes Reservierungsmanagement mit weitreichenden Folgen.

Tolles Menü und alles so lecker!

Tut mir leid, aber eine spanische Bar, die samstags um 23 Uhr „wegen der Hitze“ schließt, ist keine spanische Bar. Como si no había calor en España...

Ich habe das Essen nicht probiert, aber die Cocktails sind gut und die Atmosphäre ist sehr einladend. Beide Barkeeper waren super, hilfsbereit und ich habe mich sofort wie ein Stammgast gefühlt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Perfekt für einen lauen Sommerabend.

Ehrlich gesagt eines der besten veganen Restaurants, in denen ich je war! Das Team war super nett und zuvorkommend, die Getränke waren mega lecker und die Tapas einfach köstlich! Die gesamte Speisekarte ist fantastisch, wir haben so viel gegessen, haha… Am Wochenende solltet ihr unbedingt reservieren :)

Leider haben wir uns dort überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt. Die Kellnerin war extrem unhöflich zu uns. Es wirkte, als ob sie genervt wäre, dass wir da waren. Als ich sie nicht verstanden hatte und sie bat, es zu wiederholen, fuhr sie mich an und fragte, ob ich es jetzt kapiert hätte. Draußen wurde ich von einem anderen Kellner ebenfalls angepöbelt, weil ich mich mit anderen Gästen unterhielt. Ich hatte die ganze Zeit das Gefühl, nicht willkommen zu sein. Ich habe das am Ende angesprochen, aber sie zeigten wenig Verständnis. Schade, denn das Essen ist wirklich gut. Aber ich gehe nicht gern in ein Restaurant, wenn mir diese hippe Neuköllner Attitüde den Abend mit Freunden verdirbt.

Wir sind ständig auf der Suche sowohl nach guten veganen Restaurants als auch nach konventionellen Restaurants mit veganen Angeboten. Leider werden wir immer noch mehr enttäuscht als begeistert. Das trifft zu unserer großen Freude auf das Alaska nicht zu. Das ist definitiv das Beste, was wir in acht Jahren rein pflanzlicher Ernährung erlebt haben. Mal abgesehen von der handwerklichen Qualität ist die Kreativität besonders hervorzuheben. Sobald wir wieder mal in Berlin sind, wird das Alaska definitiv wieder auf unserer Besuchsliste stehen. Preis-/Leistung und Freundlichkeit des Teams waren ebenso top! Herzlichen Dank für diese aussergewöhnliche Erfahrung.

Wir saßen draußen, weil das Wetter so schön war, aber auch das Restaurant selbst ist absolut sehenswert. Ich bin zwar nicht streng vegan, aber dieses Restaurant hat mich wirklich beeindruckt: Alles war einfach hervorragend. Egal ob vegan oder nicht, dieses Restaurant ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Und die Mitarbeiter sind einfach so unglaublich nett 😍😍😍

Früher mochte ich diesen Laden wirklich sehr. Aber beim letzten Mal war die Bedienung unglaublich unhöflich zu mir. Gleich am Anfang, ohne ein Hallo. Zu meiner Freundin und anderen Frauen war sie nett, vielleicht hatte sie an dem Tag etwas gegen Männer? Keine Ahnung, aber es hat mir die Laune verdorben. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen. Außerdem sind 11 € für ein kleines Gericht keine Tapas.

Ich liebe diesen Laden! Die besten Bravas in Berlin, superleckere Kroketten und die Deko ist immer wieder neu und ansprechend. Nur die Tortilla kann ich nicht so empfehlen, die ist meiner Meinung nach kein guter Ersatz.

Wow, was für eine Entdeckung! Ich bin ehrlich gesagt erstaunt, wie wenige Menschen die Einrichtung kommentieren, denn die bleibt wirklich im Kopf. Schräger geht’s kaum. Es ist irgendwo zwischen „Was passiert hier eigentlich?“ und „Ich kann nicht aufhören zu schauen“. Ganz ehrlich: Wir standen kurz davor, auf dem Absatz kehrt zu machen. Aber dann dachten wir uns, komm, wir bleiben und geben dem Ganzen eine Chance. Und was soll ich sagen? Zum Glück! Das Essen und die Cocktails waren fantastisch. Jedes Gericht war punktgenau zubereitet, geschmacklich super abgestimmt und einfach richtig gut. Eine echte Überraschung, im besten Sinne. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Man darf „nur“ zwei Stunden bleiben, weil der Tisch heiß begehrt ist. Verständlich, aber schade, wir wären gern länger geblieben. Der Service? Absolut auf Zack, aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Fazit: Schräg, besonders, richtig lecker und definitiv einen Besuch wert. Wer sich traut, wird belohnt!

Das war die schlimmste Erfahrung meines Lebens; ich wurde noch nie so schlecht behandelt. Der Typ, der da arbeitet, war total unfreundlich. Er fing an, meine Freunde und mich anzuschreien und meinte, wir müssten ihn für alles fragen, obwohl er weit weg an der Bar war. Furchtbar. Zuerst dachte ich, er macht einen Witz, aber nein, er sagte ganz deutlich: „Was soll das? Ihr müsst mich fragen, ob der Tisch reserviert ist.“ Und es stand kein Schild auf dem Tisch. Tatsächlich war der Laden ziemlich leer.

Das Essen war Teils gut und Teils fade. Am meisten hat uns das Personal gestört. Unser Tisch wurde nach etwa 1h gefühlt alle 2min von beiden anwesenden Arbeitern (davon einmal der Inhaber) gescheckt. Sobald ein Teller leer war wurde der weggeräumt, auch wurde zig mal gefragt, ob wir mit diesen oder jenen Teller fertig sind. Das hat die Stimmung total unentspannt gemacht :/ Darum kommen wir sicher nicht wieder.

Fantastisches Essen. Besonders die Cashewpastete. Unbedingt probieren!

„Alaska’s“ in Berlin ist die perfekte Bar. Tolle Atmosphäre und schöne Deko – vieles davon verstehen auch viele Spanier („Tira la copa!“ 😄). Das Essen ist super. Ich bin Spanier und lebe seit 11 Jahren in Deutschland – Alaska ist das Beste, was ich hier entdeckt habe.

Ich liebe es dort, die Kroketten sind unglaublich! Ein toller Ort, um sich mit Freunden zu treffen und ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Der vegane Kabeljau war eine angenehme Überraschung.

Lasst euch von dem Namen nicht verunsichern, in der Alaska Bar gibt es fantastische spanische Tapas. Das Beste daran: alles vegan! Wer also mal spanische Croquetas oder Foie Gras in der veganen Variante kosten mag, der ist hier absolut richtig!

Das beste vegane Restaurantessen, das ich je gegessen habe (und das als Nicht-Veganer)! Meine persönlichen Highlights waren Kabeljau, Foie Gras und Mozzarella, aber auch jede einzelne Tapa war ein Genuss. Ehrlich gesagt war das das erste Essen, bei dem ich mir ernsthaft vorstellen konnte, mich dauerhaft so zu ernähren.

Alaska never disappoints! Dieses Mal gab’s Foie gras, Kabeljau, Chicorée mit Thunvich und geschmorten Lauch.. alles massiv lecker wie immer 😋

Ich habe noch nie außerhalb Spaniens ein so gutes spanisches Omelett gegessen … Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp, das Essen ist köstlich; absolut empfehlenswert! Es ist urig und gemütlich, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen einfach fantastisch. Von der Speisekarte möchte ich besonders das Omelett und die Pastete hervorheben – 100% empfehlenswert!

Beide Male war der Service, wie in Berlin üblich, eher unaufmerksam. Dieses Mal jedoch war die Bedienung regelrecht unfreundlich. Sie warf uns einen finsteren Blick zu, obwohl wir eine Liste mit allem, was wir bestellen wollten, dabei hatten. Als wir nach der Rechnung fragten, forderte sie meinen Freund auf, erst einmal fertig zu kauen, bevor er etwas sagte. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass die Bedienung uns lieber loswerden wollte. Obwohl mir das Ambiente und das Essen gefallen, werde ich dieses Restaurant weder weiterempfehlen noch wiederkommen, was wirklich schade ist. Ich gebe mein hart verdientes Geld lieber woanders aus, wo ich mich willkommen fühle.

Absolut unmöglicher Service. Die Bedienung war von Anfang an unhöflich und hat meiner Freundin sogar gesagt, sie solle erst mal fertig kauen, bevor sie mit ihr redet. Liebe Dame im Tukan-Shirt, gute Besserung!

One of my absolute favourite restaurants in Berlin. I love bringing different friends here, and it always feels like a new discovery since the menu keeps evolving. Every visit is a treat, and I’ll keep adding more photos over time! Some of my all-time favourites: roasted aubergine on a bed of tahini, the watermelon feta salad with pickled onions, Romana lettuce with green pesto, banderillas, croquettes (they keep surprising with new ones 😍), foie gras… and the list goes on. Thank you for consistently spectacular food!

Terrible service. The waiter was childishly arrogant and it was impossible to have a normal conversation with him. He was rude and disrespectful. I brought my friends there and they were also shocked at how we were treated. The food was amazing, though.

Love this place! The best bravas in Berlin, super good croquetas, and the decoration always has something new to catch your attention. The only dish I don't recommend too much is the tortilla, I think it's not a good replacement.

There were four of us and unfortunately we didn't have a reservation, but came very spontaneously. There was no free space inside, and unfortunately there is a maximum of three people per table outside. After a table for three became free outside and I waited for my friends outside the restaurant, I was offered a fourth chair so that we could still get a seat. All the staff were super friendly super nice the food was excellent we ordered far too much. We ordered almost the entire menu but were not disappointed at all. Every dish tasted really great. I am glad that I was finally able to visit the Alaska and will definitely be back.

Super delicious drinks! Delicious food! Unusual flavor combinations! My personal highlight was the vegan foie gras! Really generous portions for tapas! The two of us had four tapas and one dessert and were quite full! Be sure to make a reservation! The service is super friendly and, despite being extremely busy, always friendly, accommodating, and attentive!

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. I’m not vegan, but I absolutely love the food they serve here — the flavors are spot on, creative and satisfying. The atmosphere is super queer-friendly and there’s almost always a great music vibe. The staff is lovely and welcoming. One thing that could be improved is the ventilation — we usually leave smelling like fried food. But honestly, it’s totally worth it. They’ve recently added new dishes — the vegan foie and the eggplant are to die for. Make sure to book in advance, the place is always packed!

Very nice place with extraordinary vegan food that you cannot find elsewhere. As a vegan I love the bar. The vibes there are amazing. The food and the drinks are very good. The portions feel like it could be bigger. Though, most of what I tried tasted very good.

I really like the food and the atmosphere. Everything we ate was amazing. However the service here is always horrible. Staff is not only super slow, but also very unfriendly. For me this is unfortunately a reason not to go back.

The drinks were very good, but that's where it ends. The women's restroom was missing a toilet seat, soap, and towels. The food was extremely oily, and the generous amount of spices sprinkled on top seemed to be trying to disguise the lack of flavor. The dishes didn't arrive at the same time, but rather one at a time, over a period of ten minutes. Service was unfortunately extremely poor and inattentive. We were only noticed for the first time, then the table was partially cleared once, and despite empty glasses and our request for dessert, no one ever came back to the table. The interior is a matter of taste; it was a bit too trashy for us. Not a single fork matched another, no tablecloth for decoration, a ton of junk with no concept. Whatever you see in the pictures - imagine it ten times better. The menu was incredibly dirty and crumpled.

I'll definitely be back; all the dishes impressed me 😍 The cod, in particular, was very special and very, very tasty. I can also recommend the patatas bravas – and contrary to some reviews, I think the portion sizes, especially for tapas, are anything but too small! You'll be wonderfully filling :)

Omg I couldn't stop making happy noises due to how delicious the food was. Both my dishes were 10/10, couldn't be better! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Food and drinks are great and super tasty. I can recommend the eggplant in tahin and the patatas bravas! The tapas are a bit pricy but sizes are huge. The vibes were immaculate and the service was fast and matched the great vibes even though the bar was filled with people!! Very recommended!

Extremely delicious, authentic vegan Spanish tapas! We had the patatas bravas, bread with tomato, the salmon sandwich, and the cod on potato, and everything was truly fantastic. The service was friendly and attentive; we'd be happy to come back! I recommend making a reservation, as it gets very busy.

Horrible horrible service. I do not recommend this place unless you like being spoken to like you’re incompetent. The waitress rolled her eyes at me and spoke to me like I have done something wrong. We were three people sitting outside and informed the staff that we are expecting another person. They informed us that no more than two people are actually allowed to sit at the outside tables, but they made an exception for us being three people, which we understood completely. So we asked if the table next to us frees up can we sit across two tables, to which the waitress said we must check with her first. We did check with her and were met with the most rudeness I’ve ever experienced from restaurant staff. And I was trying to be so polite. She spoke to me with such an undermining tone and made me feel so uncomfortable. I will never return to this place despite the food being great. A word of advice, if you want returning customers treat people with kindness and a little more respect.

10/10. One of my favorite Places in Berlin. Took my Mom who lived in Spain for many years out to Alaska to introduce her to vegan tapas and she was obsessed.

I had an awful experience here. Even though the food was okay I was impressed by the hostility and bad disposition of the staff plus the drinks where really bad quality. I never give bad reviews because I understand how chaotic a bar could be but this time I felt really uncomfortable and treated very poorly.

This is the best restaurant in all of Berlin. It doesn’t get any better! The only possible critique I could make is that it is relatively small, so you need to know pretty far in advance that you want to go and reserve. But that’s expected in Berlin.

Some of the best food I've ever had, and all vegan! Amazing flavours and variety, friendly and efficient service, and such a lovely interesting place to have a meal. I highly recommend this place. I'll be back next time I'm in Berlin, without a doubt.

I was there with three friends. The food was average and the cocktails were very good. What was truly unacceptable was the service. The waitress almost threw our food away because there was no more room at the table. We were missing two dishes, and we asked if they were coming, to which she very rudely replied that of course they were, making us feel impatient after waiting 20 minutes. She left us with all the dishes, and when we asked for something, she just pretended to look at us, so I spoke louder to see if she could hear me, and her response was completely out of proportion. It's incredible to read that this waitress behaves like this repeatedly. Truly unacceptable! It's no excuse to say that something happened tonight, as this seems to be systematic.

They only gave us the table for 2 hrs and they took ages to bring the food, we had 20 minutes left and the waiter said we couldn’t order a desert cause we wouldn’t have enough time… they took forever to bring additional bread and they mentioned it in advance but how can they limit the tables for such a short time if their kitchen is so slow? The food is good, but it’s not worth it

Total disaster. Waiters too busy dancing to serve anyone. Tables "reserved" after people sat down—just a lazy excuse to avoid doing their job. Beer selection was a joke. Worst bar experience I’ve had in years. Avoid this dump.

The food is good, but the lady with glasses working there is very rude. I believe that she should learn how to communicate properly with people before she works with customers.
