Delicious food at reasonable prices! Unfortunately, it doesn't happen often these days.

Food and service was always great. The ambience could be spiced up. E.g. no plastic tablecloths in the winter garden We are always happy to come and have been for over 20 years

The portions are not generous. My husband would leave hungry. My penne portion was also manageable. Unfortunately, we sat at a large table right next to the open kitchen. An extreme level of noise from that constant loud putting down of dirty plates etc. , which caused us to leave the restaurant early. Too bad.

Very nice classic Italian where the price/performance ratio is right. Sitting in the winter garden is lovely. But be careful: it can get very loud there. Important: After Corona, the catering changed. This led to the change to a classic Italian.

It's all very old, even though it's a nice restaurant. The service was nice - the pizza had almost no taste. Super thin, hardly any toppings and therefore definitely tastier with any delivery service.

We know Al Limone from “back in the day” and were there again after a long break. Unfortunately, we found that the restaurant was definitely having its best time. Food was okay, but nothing more. The service was friendly but inattentive. That used to be better. We won't be coming back...

Stopped in spontaneously on the way back from vacation and didn't regret it

I was in this restaurant with a friend on September 6th and I rarely review something and then delay. However, since I just found the receipt, here is my experience: The worst thing for me at the end... Ambience: First of all, you could sit outside that day and it looked very inviting. Unfortunately there was no space left. We found it a little less inviting inside but we were directed to a large table in front of the open windows and that was fine. The staff even offered us a seat outside later. Food: I ordered pasta with duck and it didn't taste good at all, although I'm actually very light on food. It was simply spaghetti tossed in cream. Unfortunately the duck wasn't good either and the apple was gritty. My girlfriend's pizza was good. Service: We had to wait a long time before we could even order and had to draw attention to ourselves every time, even though the waiters always walked past us and had time to talk. There were a few strange sayings that we couldn't place. However, two clear criticisms: Firstly, when we ordered two waters at 9:30pm we were told that was bad, they were about to close (at 10pm)! At the same time, guests outside were given food and beer. Second, and worst of all for me: I was given a glass of water that had some kind of chemical in it. I took a sip and unfortunately only noticed when I swallowed that it became bitter and spicy and then I ran down to the toilets, which didn't smell good, to spit it out again. On the way I put the glass on the counter and told them there was something chemical in it and when I came back up, my throat burning (the whole rest of the evening) there was new water but not a word was said. Normally I would have started the conversation right away, but my friend was worried that I didn't like the evening because the food was so bad that I wanted to keep quiet for her sake. When we paid - and we were charged for everything including the glass of water - I said that I didn't think the water was okay. The answer from one of the waiters was “that can happen.” I said, I see it differently and it must have been a cleaning chemical. Then one said "next time I come, I'll get a tiramisu". The other asked if I had any experience in the catering industry because of my suspicion about a cleaning product. I said no, but my sons did and then came the stupidest comments, "you wouldn't believe I had children as young and pretty as I looked" etc. It was just so incredibly unpleasant and I'm still annoyed to this day. that I didn't react any differently at that moment. Now all I have to do is share my experience and anyone who has read this far can probably guess that I won't be getting the tiramisu again.

Positively surprised! Delicious Italian food with fresh ingredients. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauces flavorful. The service was excellent and friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended. The strip of restaurants on the same street is nice. Can really recommend the restaurant if you are passing by.

I called there today to reserve a table. The gentleman on the phone was so unfriendly and dismissive that I wondered if they didn't want a customer. When they hung up without saying goodbye, we decided not to go. Who knows what would have awaited us there.

Great atmosphere in the famous Lämmertwiete in Harburg. Staff as always very nice and understand their job. Pizza as delicious as in Italy. Today on the terrace spaghetti prawns with white asparagus. Always a great address.

Great Italian restaurant with friendly, courteous service where you are greeted in a very friendly manner. The pizza is great, large, crispy and richly topped. The pasta is excellent and doesn't have to hide from much more expensive restaurants. For me one of the restaurants with the best price-performance ratio!

Service was nice and quick, but the food could be improved. We had pasta and pizza and weren't really convinced.

We were welcomed very friendly. Were there an hour before closing time, but no one was annoyed. I was asked several times if everything was OK. The dishes (pizza, pasta casserole) were tasty and large. Prices are completely okay. Maybe we should just slowly let the Christmas decorations disappear ;-) we'll be back

I just ordered something to pick up. The noodles were covered in a significant amount of aluminum pieces. The aluminum was not just on top, but was found in the deeper layers of the pasta and literally wrapped itself around the pasta. I have no idea how this can happen. Unfortunately I had to throw the food away. The aluminum was really everywhere. A year ago I ordered something to pick up. Back then I didn't have any aluminum in my food, but I did have a big fly. I guess I was hoping that something had improved. Apparently things have gotten worse, not better.

I have known Al Limone for a very long time and am very happy to express my opinion. The staff is more than nice and friendly, always with an open eye and, above all, an ear to the matter. The ambience ranges from modern to rustic, with an open kitchen, where you can watch the chef's hands. Food is always delicious, I haven't had a single complaint during my countless visits. Even though it was very full, the gentlemen tried very hard and brought everything to the table. The starter was excellent, the pizza could have had 2 more prawns on it. We had a successful evening and the waiter stayed until midnight just for us. Thank you, see you next time.

We used to go to Al Limone very often, unfortunately it is no longer as nice as it once was. The men's toilet smells like a train station toilet. Very unfortunate!!!

Were there years ago, hardly anything has changed. It's a shame we weren't there more often.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with all the positive reviews. I found the food inedible and couldn't eat more than half of my food myself. On my goat cheese, fig and date pizza there was hardly any goat cheese, a few canned figs and no dates. The dough was very dry. The prices are average, but for what it is it's way too much. Chili oil that I had asked for was simply taken from the table a few minutes later without warning because apparently another table wanted some and this one container was probably the only one? Seldom eaten so badly.

Called at lunchtime and immediately got a table for the evening (2 people, December 31, 2023). At first we were some of the only guests, the busier it got, the sooner we had to wait for a waiter, but then the ordering went really quickly. The food was very tasty, although the portion of noodles perhaps could have been a little larger. The PannaCotta tasted a bit like the fridge, but it was a very large portion.

Good Italian restaurant. Great service in a relaxed manner, which I personally really like. The portions could be a little larger, although the pasta dishes were decent and sufficient, the meat dishes could be a little more. Definitely very good in terms of taste and quality.

Gemütliches Restaurant Freundliche Bedienung Gutes Essen, einige Portionen waren etwas knapp bemessen, die Pizzen dafür riesig. Es war lecker und es sind am Ende auch alle satt geworden.

Really charming athmosphere. Nice interior you can outside as well. On the other hand they should improve the menu, english translation was way off, if i did not have a person who speaks german i would have ordered something that i wouldnt eat. I have tomato allergy and they had no tomate free pizzas. One person spoke english at most. The food i ordered contained little to no chicken, it was delcious tho.

Das Restaurant ist laut, die Bestuhlung eng und der Service etwas umständlich (... Getränkebestellung und Essensbestellung müssen zwingend bei zwei verschiedenen Kellnern aufgegeben werden - warum?) Aber das Essen, das Essen- 1a mit Sternchen. Unglaublich lecker, mit Sachverstand abgeschmeckt und typisch italienisch. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder, oder zweimal, oder dreimal...

Die Gnocchi waren göttlich und der Service ebenso. Die Bruschetta waren nicht so lecker, Brot nicht knusprig und nicht qualitativ gutes Olivenöl. Alles in allem wirklich empfehlenswert.

Wir waren eher zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, da wir etwas in Harburg gesucht haben. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service war gut. Das frühzeitige Aufräumen und Saubermachen hat jedoch enorm gestört.

Kein Vergleich zu vorher. Wir haben das gute kreative Essen geliebt, es war immer top und superlecker! Und jetzt.... der neue Besitzer hat den Namen übernommen und versucht einen Teil der ehemaligen Speisekarte umzusetzen. Das Ergebnis ist ein vollständig anderes und hat mit Al Limone gar nichts gemeinsam. Italienisch kochen kann ich selbst besser. Caspari nebenan auch. Al Limone gibt es nicht mehr. Tschüss 😢

Habe in diesem hochgelobten Restaurant die italienische Atmosphäre vermisst! Vorspeise Vitello Tonato, schön angerichtet. Vitello gut.Die Tonatosauce leider zu "Kapern lastig",den tonno sollte man schon dabei rausschmecken können. Als Hauptgericht Dorade Royal,war frisch. Das dazugereichte rohe, nicht al dente!, Gemüse so unpassend wie der Salat.Die Kartoffeln die zu der Ente meiner Begleitung gereicht wurden hätten besser zum Fisch gepasst.Was die zwei Stücke Ingwer in der Dorade sollten,ist mir auch unklar. Die Ente war okay, ihre Vorspeise, der Ziegenkäse auch schön angerichtet, geschmacklich nicht gut abgestimmt. Hinzu kam,dass der Service nicht unfreundlich jedoch lustlos war. das Beste war das mein Schwenker für den Brandy angewärmt war.

Die Küche im Al Limone ist großartig! Die Karte ist recht klein und umfasst besondere Pizza-/Pastavarianten, die es so nicht überall gibt. Die Gerichte werden frisch aus hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet (man kann in die Küche schauen) und das schmeckt man auch. Die Preise sind nicht ganz günstig, aber für die gute Qualität ist das angemessen. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Lediglich muss man etwas Zeit einplanen, bis man sein Essen bekommt. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Wir haben zufällig noch einen Tisch im Wintergarten bekommen. Leider war es dort sehr kalt. Mein Partner hat sich die Jacke wieder angezogen. Bei der Bestellung gab es keine Probleme. Die Getränke wurden dann leider mit dem Nachbartisch verwechselt. Das Essen finden wir etwas teuer.

Wir kennen dieses Restaurant schon seit 2011. Immer wieder wenn wir in Hamburg sind, kommen wir gerne hin. Es ist immer ein Geschmackserlebnis, wenn es um Pasta geht. Besser kann die italienische Küche nicht schmecken: frische Kräuter, frische Zutaten, alles super abgeschmeckt. Dazu sehr nette Bedienung, besonders schön wenn die Chefin da ist und man kann mit ihr paar Worte wechseln. Im großen und ganzen ist es immer ein Vergnügen da zu sein...

Das Risotto mit Rinderfilet war großartig, jeden Cent wert. Das Rotbatschfilet mit Kartoffelpürre von meinen Begleitung war ebenfalls ein Traum.

Wir waren anlässlich unserem ersten Hochzeitstag zum Abendessen dort. Tolle Atmosphäre und Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen, toller Wein und ein perfekter Service 👍

Gestern abend habe ich von der Tageskarte Lammfilet mit Süßkartoffel, Weinreduktion und Gemüse gegessen. Es war alles großartig, ein Traum, ein Gedicht!!! Die Kellner sind toll, der Tisch war schön, großartig!

Wir waren vor 2 Tagen dort essen. Sehr spontan und wurden sehr angenehm empfangen und auch der Rest des Abends verlief überraschend gut. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Wir saßen im Wintergarten. Dort wurde es irgendwann recht warm. Auf Nachfrage ob man die Fenster öffnen konnte kam man dem schnell nach und es war wieder angenehm. Relativ schnell kam das Essen, es sah top aus und genauso hat es auf geschmeckt. Die Pizza konnte man selbst gestalten. Die Karte fällt außergewöhnlich klein aus, was aber auch ein gutes Restaurant ausmacht und dafür spricht, dass alles frisch gemacht wird. Der Teig der Pizza wurde ebenfalls frisch vom Pizzabecker zubereitet. Man kann in die Küche einsehen. Draußen beim rauchen kam einer der neuen Besitzer dazu. Dies ergab sich im Gespräch. Seit einem Monat habe man dort übernommen und freuten sich, dass es uns so gut gefällt. Der Wein war auch top. Nach dem bezahlen gab es noch einen Sambucca aufs Haus. Wir kommen wieder!

This restaurant is located on a quiet old (historic) street. It is a locally owned restaurant. The owner came over right after we sat down and was very friendly and welcoming. We had a range of appetizers and i had the salmon. Everything was very good.
