Very cozy shop! Well suited whether you just want to go for a drink or want to eat properly! The price-performance ratio was good and the food was delicious! The only point of criticism is that the juices were very diluted with water and therefore didn't taste that good for the price.

to be honest a bit pricey for the portions (plates are huge but the actual food amount wasn’t for the price in my opinion) and the waitress seemed a bit confused.. but the food was delicious!! the halloumi was amazing :)

Really good restaurant with exciting dishes and very friendly service. We went there with a group of 5 people and had an early dinner. The waiters were super friendly, the food selection was good and overall a pleasant location. The drinks and food were very tasty. We shared one of the large platters as a starter and then each had a main course. The portion of the main course seemed a bit small at first, but I quickly realized that that was wrong. Absolutely good value for money, would definitely come again.

Very comfortably furnished Palestinian restaurant. Both food and drinks were great. The service was super nice! We almost walked past it and are glad we went in! We were really very satisfied.

We were here just for a nightcap. So I can't say anything about the food. The waitress hardly spoke any German, but was humorous and very friendly.

Bad breakfast, ready made hummus, bad quality eggs, too pricey for what it is. The price is not appropriate for the quality, the food is very bad. Except for falafel and sausages. The rest is bad.

Loved the food here. Tried one of the maza platters and everything was delicious and full of flavor, the nakanek were one of the best I’ve had. Staff is also very friendly, recommended!

They treat the artists very badly. They cancelled our show at the door. The organiser didn't show up. The owner of Al Hamra was very unsympathetic to the situation. Totally unpleasant and disrespectful.

I ordered from this restaurant using uber. The food was delivered in a completely unacceptable manner. The packaging was leaking from all possible corners. If this wasn’t enough , I discovered a mosquito in my food. I am completely appalled and disgusted by the food safety and hygiene of this restaurant. If you care about your health , do not eat here.

Overpriced, for 2 small falafels with a few vegetables 14€, the tip is probably already included in the price

Location is their saving grace with a decent drinks menu. Service is warm if absent (better to walk up to them to get things like cutlery in a timely manner, after food arrives). Local competition on hummus and flat bread left me feeling disappointed, this was notably basic.

We came for a late breakfast/early lunch on Sunday. There were not too many tables taken, but the waitress still managed to ignore us several times. Sitting outside is nice. The food was good but is also a bit pricy. When I look at the combination of food and service, I come to the conclusion that the value for money is not balanced.

The food is well made, clean and tasty. The team's ineptitude is extreme. Unfortunately the staff is unhelpful: from keeping glasses on the empty tables, no cutlery or napkins visible, neglecting to start forgetting and then saying "there is no beer" after waiting. But this beer was still in the bill at the end! such a disaster of service. As a visitor you cannot relax. The team's ineptitude is extreme. English: you cannot chill here because the service staff makes everything difficult, you may need basics to eat and you can wait long for a simple beer that will never come but still will be on your check to pay. I do not recommend the place. The food was great, but you can find middle east great Syrian, Lebanese food all over Berlin, so I would neither stick to this place for it.

Had a beer in the evening. The service was extremely slow the evening I was there and the atmosphere without candles left a lot to be desired. I'm sure the food is good because it looks good in the pictures but next time I'll have a few beers somewhere else in the evening.

I loved this place. It was some of the best hummus I’ve had. The environment is a beautiful welcoming environment with amazing decor. There were people of all nationalities ages and cultures here and the food was perfect for what I needed at the time. I had a great pomegranate salad and a chicken and rice dish that was beautiful.

20 euros for a cold coffee, 2 dry falafel, 2 sausages and 1 fried egg. I'm disappointed

Their bar service is extremely poor especially on a day where it's crowded. I asked for Hendrick's gin which is naturally more expensive than the normal one, but the bar back asked the bartender for any sort of Gin, so i had to point out what i ordered. Otherwise the atmosphere and food is fine

Ich liebe diesen Ort 💖 So lebendig. Die "Tapas" Platten sind sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Köstlichkeiten aus dem Orient. Die gemischte Platte gibt es jeweils auch in den Varianten vegetarisch und vegan. Pilsner Urquell vom Fass ist auch immer etwas besonderes. Dem Personal merkt man an, dass die Leute gerne dort arbeiten und es gibt interessante Konzerte unten im Basement. Auch zu empfehlen für größere Treffen der untere Bereich, wenn gerade kein Konzert stattfindet 💫

Tolles Restaurant. Wir waren dort frühstücken, hatten einen großen gemischten Teller für zwei. Die Portion war mehr als ausreichend für zwei Personen. Alles sehr lecker! Toller, sehr netter Service.

Haven't tried any of their dishes (yet), but the Ayran shake is a perfect refreshing treat on a warm summer day. The Arak was also excellent and seems to be great authentic quality. Friendly staff and cozy outdoor seating. Hope to be back again soon!

1 Falafel Wrap zum Mitnehmen= 8 Euro! Was ich eine Frechheit finde, da sowas überall sonst ca 6 Euro kostet. Salat und Tomaten welk und wabbelig, anderes Gemüse war nicht zu finden.Hummus geschmacklos und flüssig, Falafel innen Konsistenz wie homogener Brei -nach ca 5 Minuten sollte der gegessen werden und war schon durch die Papier Transport Tüte gesuppt.Ich esse oft Falafel, diese waren leider die schlechtesten, die ich je hatte. So schlecht, dass ich leider nichts davon essen konnte, nachdem ich gekostet hatte. Schade, dass ich hier keine Fotos einstellen kann, denn ich habe welche zum Beweis gemacht. 1 Stern ist noch zu viel!

It's my boyfriend's favorite place for eating a plate of hummus and halloumi for breakfast. In my point of view : it's pricey but I like going there for the nice and cosy atmosphere. The food is okey and good but you can find better somewhere else.

Vegan, Al Hamra ve Orient kahvalti yedik... Ve yedigimiz her sey harikaydi. Mekanin atmosferi, muzikler, hizmet harikaydi. Bizimle ilgilenen çalışan çok kibar, çok yardimci ve çok zarifti. Fiyatlar biraz yuksek ama aldiginiz hizmete değer...

Al Hamra appears to be a bar upon entry but some steps spiral into the ground. The vibe shifts and you are disconnected from the world. The dimmed sitting area is lit by colorful warm-light lanterns that create a cozy atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of classic Middle Eastern dishes that come in the forms of platters and entrées. There are vegetarian & vegan options as well as a variety of drinks. The food is delicious and has reasonable portions & pricing. Definitely would recommend for get-togethers or casual hang outs.

Se abitassi in quella zona, sarebbe uno dei miei preferiti! Cucina araba e non solo, tutti piatti di alta qualità e freschezza. Cameriera molto simpatica e disponibile.

Atmosphere of the place truly brings you in. Plenty of options that don't suffocate you with too much of selection. It's just perfect amount to select out of. We went with basically one option from each category. As we went in group of 4, we had plenty of opportunity to try. Breakfast with omelette was perfect. So was the veggie options and intimately this combo plata. DELICIOUS. Can absolutely recommend.

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant schon seit 10 Jahren und es ist wirklich einer der wenigen Läden in Berlin, wo die Qualität wirklich IMMER konstant gut ist. Dafür gibt's die 5 Sterne. Auch das Ambiente finde ich total cozy und es lohnt sich morgens, mittags & abends hierher zu kommen. Klar, gibt's immer etwas zu verbessern (zB im Service), aber generell würde ich jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Nette Atmosphäre, in der man sich gut unterhalten kann. Allerdings sind die Cocktails leider satt lieblos gemacht. Einen Gin Tonic oder Long Island Icetea fast geschmacklos hinbekommen, muss man auch erstmal können.

Immer lecker - sowohl vor Ort, als auch bei Bestellung - immer freundlich und gemütlich - auch die Getränke sind top. Besonders: die Falafel sind glutenfrei und somit kann auch ich sie mit großer Freude essen. Die besten Falafel in Berlin für mich.

A great place to spend evenings. Sometimes they would have a band playing oriental music. Very good drinks and middle eastern snacks. To improve: Ventilation!! The place downstairs gets very very smoky.
