We've been ordering from them for over 20 years. Mostly unique and almost always fantastic. Please don't become just another one of the same old pizzerias! The oven, the cheese, the sauce, the oregano, and the dough have always been perfectly balanced. The portion sizes were just right, and the price was fair. The driver was friendly.

DON'T EAT HERE!!!! Absolutely outrageous!! Such poor service!! Absolutely unprofessional, unfriendly... first they took my order incorrectly and then complained. Pizza was way too dry and significantly smaller than advertised!! I just feel like I've been ripped off!!

The delivery arrived faster than expected (30 minutes instead of 45 minutes). The pizzas were well-topped, hot, and with a deliciously fluffy crust. The Al Capriccio salad was a crisp, fresh, large portion with plenty of ingredients and a dressing we couldn't get enough of. We'll be back!

I've been a customer since the beginning. Never disappointed. The food is fresh, Italian, generously topped, and the price is right! You can tell from the phone when the pizzeria is busy. Otherwise, they're always friendly. Wait times are 30-40 minutes, and a few minutes longer on weekends. I highly recommend Al Capriccio at the Refrather Vürfelser Kaule 👍 I can't say much about the ambiance at a pizza express...

The food wasn't great, and that's putting it kindly. Then the driver forgot the water. Instead of the 1-liter bottle I ordered, I received three small 0.25-liter bottles. They didn't have screw caps for easy opening, but rather a fixed cap, which I can't open now because I don't have a bottle opener. He didn't even thank me for the tip. When I asked by phone why I was only delivered 0.74 liters, even though I had ordered and already paid for 1 liter, the succinct reply was that they only had 0.75-liter bottles anyway. However, the menu online says 1 liter, and the bill also says 1 liter. So, a blatant lie. This was my first and last time ordering from here.

Absolutely disgusting. It's more of a drive-thru than a pizza place. The owner is very unfriendly and answers questions snippy. So he's unfriendly. An extra €1.50 for onions on a tonno, and he can't tell me how much additional ingredients cost. As if the customer doesn't matter. I hope the pizza turns out well, but I'm glad I can watch. Not recommended. Ask for prices in advance so you're not surprised when a €9.00 pizza suddenly turns out to be €10.50 just for 5 onion rings on the pizza. The pizza was ordered crispy. And unfortunately, it was burnt. I'm going to get a kebab now. If you want to be ripped off, order here more often. McDoof offers better service. The pizza isn't 25 cm by eye. I could be wrong, but I think it's a bad joke!

Extremely unfriendly employee, who was no friendlier on the second call—after two pizzas hadn't been delivered after 1.5 hours and a drive of less than 4 km. After two hours, the food arrived, which I found to be mediocre. Another person, incidentally, had the same impression (call on speakerphone; food).

Unfortunately, very disappointing. We ordered our favorite pizzas for the first time in a long time (Frutti di Mare and Tonno). They were delivered completely burnt and dry after about 1.5 hours. They threw them in the trash, unfortunately. I called and complained. They told me to bring them over. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible anymore; I had already thrown them away. I've known the shop for about 20 years – and I dare say: The biggest guarantee of the shop's now over 30-year success story isn't the food, but the astonishing lack of better alternatives in the area. The pizza? Solidly average – neither cheers nor tears. The lasagna, on the other hand, surprised me with a salt dose that would probably throw even snowplows off their game in winter. But the real "highlight" isn't the pizza box, but the way they treat their customers. Friendliness? A concept from a galaxy far, far away. The businesslike grumpiness seems to be part of the corporate identity here – a kind of anti-service with a tradition. As a customer, you feel less welcome than tolerated – and even then, only under protest. The low point of my last visit: 40 minutes before official closing time, after just one (!) glance at the menu, I was impatiently approached and asked to please order – they wanted to finish work early today (how I was supposed to know remains a secret of the establishment). Even the smallest requests for changes to the topping resulted in at least five follow-up questions, and the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a government agency on the verge of a strike than a restaurant. The crowning glory: the remaining change (50 cents) was summarily withheld – without question, without comment. It's not the amount that's the problem, but the attitude. Bottom line: If you keep your expectations as low as pizza dough during its rise, you won't be disappointed. But none of this really whets your appetite for a repeat performance.

Delicious food, fast and friendly delivery service. I've ordered regularly, but unfortunately, it's happened several times that something was missing from my order or was delivered incorrectly. After calling, I was fobbed off. The person taking orders is probably overwhelmed or simply not the right person for the job. I've been a regular customer for years, but this has been the last straw and this is my last order. It's best to read other reviews as well. Unfortunately, it's a real shame for the company.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. My order only arrived after 1.5 hours – much too late. Despite the long wait, I tipped the delivery driver, but I didn't even get a simple "thank you" in return. No smile, no word – just rude. Poor service, unfriendly staff. This is definitely a way to lose customers. I won't order from here again and can't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, disappointing – we won't be ordering again. We've been ordering from you regularly for years and were satisfied for a long time. However, in the last few weeks and months, the quality has unfortunately declined significantly, and today's meal was the lowest point. The lasagna was dry, there was no sauce between the pasta sheets, and the ham was cold and unappetizing. The pizza was specifically ordered without oregano (due to an allergy!), yet it still had oregano on it, which is not only annoying but also dangerous. The service has also deteriorated. The last time we picked up our food, we were treated extremely rudely. It's a shame, but this was definitely our last order.

Dear Madam, nice driver and timely delivery. Pizza on the tray was great, 4 different types, very happy again.

Maybe the best pizza delivery service in Refrat? I can recommend many things. From salad to (of course) pizza, casseroles and dessert. The price is a little above average, but still reasonable. Why do I recommend: Local pickup is great and goes quickly (even if you don't call ahead). Delivery has always been quicker than announced. The temperature of the food is very warm to hot upon arrival. And it just tastes good.

We have been ordering from Pizza Express since the beginning. In all these years we have once had to wait a very long time and once we weren't so happy with the food. Otherwise there was never anything to complain about! Ordered today at 5 p.m., the pizzas and salad arrived at 5:30 p.m. Perfect and very tasty. Of course it can take a little longer on the weekend. But it's like that everywhere. We are happy to provide them again and again and have already picked them up. Thank you Pizza Express and see you next time :) (and I always opted out of the anchovies for the special, I won't do that again, it was simply delicious)

Unfortunately the delivery only came after 100 minutes. After 80 minutes we called and were handled very unfriendly, there was a lot to do and then the person we called simply hung up. The two pizzas were okay, but the calamari was swimming in a nasty fatty sauce, to the delight of my cholesterol levels.

Food was very poor, no taste despite ordering extra Gorgonzala and spiciness +. Everything was oily as you can see in the pictures. Half of it was thrown away. But the service driver was great.

We have ordered here regularly for a long time and have always been very satisfied. After a few months break, we tried it again. First of all, when we ordered and we didn't immediately have the number of a dish ready, we were told that we should please write the numbers down before ordering, after all, we have a lot to do. After waiting two hours, we called to ask about the "current status", whereupon we were told that the dishes were currently in the oven. After 2.5 hours the delivery arrived. Of three dishes ordered, one was missing, but it was on the bill! So the three of us shared two pizzas. The driver apologized several times, but it was probably not his fault. Otherwise, there was no apology or even an offer of compensation. The pizzas were okay, but not great enough to make up for any of the inconveniences described above. Ergo: that was definitely our last order from Al Capriccio, although the name is probably the only remaining Italian thing about the shop!

Delivery took 1.5 hours without any corresponding information. When we asked by telephone whether the order had been lost, the response was extremely unfriendly.

The food is MEGA. The information on delivery dates is often imprecise and sometimes significantly exaggerated. Picking up is the better alternative.

I ordered a vegan pizza this evening. The onions were fried in oil, the vegetables were a slice of mushroom and spinach just carelessly thrown on top. I won't order pizza there again.

Yesterday at 2:25 p.m. we arrived at the so-called restaurant, not knowing that lunch break starts at 2:30 p.m. They took our order for a pizza in an even more unfriendly manner, a pizza because eating on site was not possible due to the lunch break and we now wanted to eat the pizza in the car. After the pizza was handed over to us, I took napkins from the container provided and an employee immediately complained that I had taken too many napkins, we are talking about ten wafer-thin napkins. A second employee then got involved in this topic and asked us in all seriousness to put all but two napkins back because we were in inflation. The hint that we wanted to eat the pizza in the car and therefore needed a few more napkins was not even taken into account. I can't find any words for such outrageous behavior. I then put €2 on the counter, by the way I had already tipped €1.50 when paying for the pizza, pointing out that that was probably the last meal I ordered there. Service and polite behavior towards customers is completely different.

Very bad! Really dissatisfied! I wanted to order for the first time because the restaurant was recommended to me. The site stated that it would be delivered to my region, but this was not the case. I received a confirmation via email. When I called after 40 minutes, I was told that they had tried to reach me several times. What's wrong, no missed calls. Accordingly, the order was canceled. Conclusion: Very poor service - if there is an option on the website then it should be possible. Employee was incredibly unfriendly. They are certainly not Italians, because the word “friendliness” and the guest mean something.

Ordered 2 pizzas, waited 2 hours. Called after 1/1/2 hour, answer.... is on the way. 5 minutes later the pizzeria called and we had ordered to be picked up, which wasn't true. My husband said and now.... answer pizza is coming. The pizza was rock hard on the edge and too much oregano made the pizza bitter tasted bad and was not edible. We were always happy with you, what happened?

As always, I ordered two dishes today, tortellini with spinach in garlic cream sauce 61, and tagliatelle with spinach, salmon and garlic cream sauce 52. The tortellini... 61 were bland, the cream sauce from the tagliatelle tasted like the milk was sour! When I called and explained what I didn't like, I was told several times in an unfriendly tone, "That can't be right," and then "You've been drinking"! I then brought them the food to the store. There I was spoken to again in a very unfriendly manner, in an aggressive tone, that would be nonsense, the food would taste completely normal. I replied that I had been ordering the 61 and 52 from them for about 14 years and had never had any complaints! This time (as described above) the food doesn't taste good!!! The discussion then went on and on, whereupon I ended the conversation. I definitely won't be ordering there again!!!!! Germany is a service desert, a shame. 🫣

I was spoken to in a very friendly manner when ordering over the phone. I liked that. The pizza arrived very quickly. It was hot and delicious. The floor and covering was just right. The delivery person was friendly and not hectic. I thought that was good. I think that Al Capriccio really did everything right today. Thank you. I'm fed up now.😄

I've been ordering from Al Capriccio for a while now. Two dishes each twice a week. So far I've always been satisfied. Today I ordered a lasagne. There was so much cheese on and in the lasagna that you couldn't eat the dish. I called the restaurant to complain about the dish. The owner immediately became sulky and cheeky and then dared to ask me if I had had anything to drink. What a disgrace!! Not that it was any of his business. By the way, no one would have complained about the lasagne and I would be the only one who complained about it. In my opinion, that is always the standard argument. You're always the only one who complained. After a heated discussion, the owner, totally annoyed - because he wanted to get rid of me - offered to add pizza rolls to my next order. There will be no next order. I won't let myself be treated like that and I can't recommend the restaurant in any way.

I ordered via Lieferando. After ordering several times, I received a stamp card voucher, which I then redeemed for another order. An hour after I ordered, the owner of the store called me and said that I wouldn't get the food at that price and would have to pay the normal price. I said I won't do that and insisted on my food. When the delivery person finally showed up at my door with the food, he demanded the normal price and then called his boss, who insulted me and said that the food would go back if I didn't pay the normal price and that I would have to deal with Lieferando figure out how to get the money back. I have rarely experienced such disrespect and unfriendliness in my life.

We have been customers for years, unfortunately the food has gotten worse and worse. Today I had had enough and criticized the pasta for both dishes not being salted, no garlic, the crabs were dry and overcooked. The gentleman on the phone yelled at me that they don't know anything about cooking. Pasta with crabs and garlic is our favorite food, wanted to today because of... Don't cook yourself at the time. I made a clear announcement to the “chef” on the phone, no more orders, phone number and menu deleted.

Best calzone I've had in a long time.

Ordered food for 6 people for the first time yesterday. Delivery within 1 hour on Saturday evening. Everything was hot. Fully satisfied with all goods. From various pizzas to pasta dishes, everything was very tasty. Unfortunately I have to add: Ordered online for the 2nd time. After 80 minutes, I politely asked by phone when the delivery would arrive. Apparently online orders are not being processed. There would be a lot to do. I have to wait 60-80 minutes. Yes, the time is already over. Now at 7:43 p.m. still nothing has been delivered.

Pizza is quite good but nothing special. Standard pizza. But if you specify a minimum order value and I order for it, the driver shouldn't tell you on the spot that the route is too far for a pizza. Then adjust your minimum order value if that's too far for you and don't make me stupid as a customer!

A 2 hour waiting time for an online order of 3 pizzas is not acceptable. Especially not if the management doesn't agree to a cancellation and you are insulted that you don't need customers like me. Taste ok - service, speed and friendliness deserve absolutely no star!

I can only agree with these reviews. It used to be a top pizzeria in terms of service and reliable delivery. When you ask politely whether the delivery is on the way, you don't know exactly whether someone will speak to you. And then no reliable statement about the delivery time is given.

After ordering online through the website, I received a call a few minutes later saying there would be no delivery to my street. I was given the choice of canceling the order or picking it up. After I looked to see if I could cancel it and I couldn't, I pointed this out to the restaurant and they replied: "No, you can't cancel either". When I pointed out that my postcode was listed on the website, I was told that it was too far and “especially not for €10” (a pizza). After some back and forth, I was told that they would now deliver the pizza “as an exception”. I pointed out that maybe they shouldn't include my zip code if they don't ship to my area at all - just to avoid this discussion with future customers. Then they just said: “You can’t divide a zip code by two!” The delivery came and the pizza didn't taste that good. In addition, the driver was also very unfriendly. A little tip: please specify an exact delivery area online; you don't have to divide the zip code by two. And you should also specify a minimum order value - if you as an individual cannot order pizza from you. And a little more friendliness won't hurt our world. Especially since the mistake wasn't mine!

I've been eating there for over 30 years and for me it's the only pizza. It's somehow different and incomparable. If you want dry stone bottom pizza dough, this is of course the wrong place. Lots of cheese, very greasy, but awesome! Can highly recommend the Pizza Inferno if you like it spicy!

Haaaalllo Al Capricio. There are now a lot of underground reviews and you probably don't really care about them. Unaccountable delivery times and just as obvious reluctance to answer the phone. Good advice: redeem yourself and us and close.

Unfortunately, the delivery situation and the quality of the pizza in this restaurant is getting worse. With the stated up to 60 minutes, another 35 minutes were added! The pizza was only lukewarm and the quality left a lot to be desired. It's a shame, I always enjoyed ordering there but now it's over! The 2 stars are for the nice driver, who can't help it.

I'm sorry to say that the pizza at this pizzeria just didn't live up to my expectations. As someone who has had better pizzas, I definitely expected more, especially from a pizzeria that bills itself as authentically Italian. The dough was nothing special and the taste left a lot to be desired. The only bright spot was the delivery, which was quick (about 50 minutes) and friendly. Therefore I give one star for the good delivery service.

Mega unfriendly “shop”. Delivery times underground. When I asked over the phone when the food would arrive, I received a stroppy, unfriendly answer. 90 minutes delivery time becomes 2 hours. Then the driver still didn't drive off... sorry, that's not possible... we'll never order again...

The pizza service used to be really good, unfortunately those days are apparently over, the delivery time was given as 90 minutes, and after 90 minutes the driver still wasn't on the way. Nope!

We haven't ordered for a long time, but this was our last time. It was said to take 75 minutes and delivered after 90 minutes - we always give a little grace, so it's almost still within limits. Pizzas are absolutely not what they used to be and the pasta and salads have also deteriorated a lot. The man on the phone wasn't exactly the friendliest. But the driver was nice and therefore 2 stars for service. Unfortunately it is no longer recommended as it used to be and we are looking for a new favorite Italian.

Leider findet meine Frau die Pizza hier besonders lecker. Allerdings finde ich das Personal meist nicht sehr freundlich und mich nerven Geschäfte bei denen man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann.

Heute wieder mal Essen nach langer Zeit Pizza kann nicht meckern top Geschmack aber Zwiebel 1.50€ extra das ist ja Hammer und für 0.33 l Coca-Cola Flasche 2,80€ ist ja auch extrem viel Restaurant ist es ja nicht.

Wir haben bisher Samstag Mittags zur Lieferung bestellt. Da wir ein Unternehmen sind benötigen wir eine Bewirtungsquittung. Wir haben den Lieferfahrer darauf hingewiesen das wir dies bei der Bestellung angegeben haben und er war nicht sehr freundlich zu unserer Mitarbeiterin. .. 2 Jahre später haben wir bereits mehrfach ebstellt - alles in Ordnung. Bewertung von 1 Stern auf 3 Sterne erhöht. Leider teilweise sehr unfreundlich am Telefon - deshalb bestellen wir selten. Essen bisher immer Top.

Kenne die Pizzeria seit über 20 Jahren. Preis Leistung ist Top. Am besten gefallen mir die Pizzen mit Oliven. Aber Achtung die Oliven sind mit Stein. Würde immer wieder bestellen. Das es mal ne Stunde dauern kann wird einem vorher mehrfach gesagt. Die Zeit muss man einfach einplanen. :)

Ich musste 35+ Jahre alt werden, bis mir der Pizzabäcker dieses Geschäftes endlich erklärt hat, warum käsestarke Pizzen nie komplett geschnitten bei mir ankommen (wenn bestellt). Jetzt aber zum Wesentlichen: Sehr leckere Pizza, gute Burger und fantastisches Tiramisu. Selbst wenn man 10 Minuten vor deren Mittagspause bestellt, ist das Essen schnell da und der Liefermensch fröhlich drauf. Pizzeria der alten Schule.

Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung 1 Stunde 45 Minuten (der Laden ist 10 Minuten entfernt). Essen in Teilen falsch geliefert, Kindermenue mit Überraschung ist ein Witz (2 kl. "Karnevalstüten" Gummibärchen in einer Pappbox). Jungs/Mädels, das geht besser....

Gutes Essen- war mir allerdings etwas zu laut. Unterhaltung kaum .möglich.

Habe leider 1:20 auf meine Pizza warten müssen, um dann eine kalte Pizza 43.5°C zu bekommen. Habe nachgefragt, war nicht viel los dort und der Mann am Telefon sagt kann nicht sein, der Fahrer ist eben erst damit weg! Jetzt werde ich auch noch angelogen? Hab ein Foto gemacht, bei euch bestelle ich nie wieder !!

2 Srunden auf das Essen gewartet - 2 Mal gesagt wo man NICHT klingeln soll (natürlich beim Nachbarn geklingelt). Und kein nettes Wort....nur so: ja viel los!? PIZZA EXPRESS??????
