Lovely people, good service, nice atmosphere, but the food wasn't what I'm used to from Greece. I don't eat meat and like briam or stamna, but unfortunately, they weren't available. The salad was good, but the feta was very sour.

The restaurant was quite busy. Given the good reviews, we decided to go. The service was friendly, but the food wasn't great. The salad consisted almost entirely of green salad. The chicken and kebabs were undercooked and lukewarm. Of course, the plates arrived very quickly. We ended up having the food reheated.

The ambiance and staff were really great. Unfortunately, we didn't like the food. The zucchini appetizer wasn't properly fried. The main course, gyros with Metaxa sauce and melted cheese, wasn't cooked through. It was very greasy and soggy. The fries were also raw inside. We had to send them back after three bites. Our table neighbor had the same problem.

We ate from the lunch menu in the afternoon. Portions: Simply delicious and more than enough.

Delicious Greek food, and the wait isn't too long. The only downside is that the menus and wine lists desperately need updating. They're all broken and worn. A shame for such a lovely restaurant.

Absolutely not a recommendation! The gyro was extremely greasy and cold. You can get better meat at any food stand. The chicken skewers were undercooked and wobbly. Both the Aperol and the beer tasted stale. Unfortunately, I can't understand all the good reviews.

A truly Greek restaurant, as you'd expect. Upon arrival, the owner, Kostas, was already cracking jokes. A great guy. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. The plates were so large that the ladies couldn't finish them. We were given the leftovers in a small container, which gave us some tasty treats to take home. The price was also very reasonable. You won't find that in the Netherlands for that price. Definitely recommended if you're in Cochem.

We were absolutely thrilled with our visit to the Akropolis restaurant in Cochem. Both the service and the food deserve a full five stars. We particularly want to highlight the souvlaki – one of us was never a big fan of this dish, but here we were proven wrong: It was by far the best souvlaki we've ever eaten – extremely tender, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. The other dishes also impressed with their freshness, flavor, and quality. The portions are exceptionally generous, so we were able to have the leftovers packed up immediately and without any hassle. The value for money is absolutely impeccable – everything is just right here. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek food in Cochem, you're in the best hands at the Akropolis. We highly recommend it!

The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was okay; we sat at a rather dark table, and the LED light on the table was comparatively bright, which was a bit odd. We didn't like the food at all. The chicken was very fatty and oily, and the fries and gyros were cold. The salad, however, was very tasty. We still wouldn't go back.

We arrived without a reservation, but they took our name, and when we returned 30 minutes later, a table was ready. It was worth it! A bit away from the Ballermann-like schnitzel bars, the Akropolis restaurant is a real hit. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and attractively presented. Akropolis was one of the best Greek food which I had in recent times. The Lammkottlet and Gyros were absolutely yummy. The waiters very professional and cordial. I would gladly visit this place again.

We were there 2 weeks ago and unfortunately have to say that it didn't live up to the expectations some people have posted here. The food wasn't that great and the service was a bit overwhelmed I think. The toilets were clean, just for your information, but there are other nice restaurants nearby, particularly in the alleys.

We were there for lunch with four people on Monday. Only 3 stars because the ambiance doesn't look inviting from the outside, and you have to go up to the first floor, and there's no elevator. There's also an unpleasant smell of cooking in the back corner. Excellent service! They even pointed us to the lunch menu, otherwise we would have paid twice as much and couldn't finish the portions. The food was hot and tasted simply amazing. Nothing was too dry; the fries were a bit too salty, but still within reason. Drink prices are a bit below average. All in all, our expectations were exceeded. We'd be happy to go back.

I was at Akropolis last night and had a great experience! The food was not only delicious but also plentiful. The service was friendly and attentive. My only minor criticism: I asked for ketchup, but that was really the only thing that wasn't quite right. Otherwise, everything was great! Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit. The meat was tough, dry, and partially burnt – absolutely not enjoyable. The service seemed unfriendly and uninspired. Even the ouzo, which should normally be served ice cold, arrived warm. Truly disappointing for a Greek restaurant. Not recommended. We should have listened to the negative reviews.

Four of us went there yesterday to eat. The food was okay... but nothing exceptional. But I've never experienced a situation where, when you order a mixed grill at a Greek restaurant, you don't get tzatziki. However, you could order it for €4.70.

Spent a week on vacation in Cochem! Ate here twice! Super generous portions, fast, efficient service! The first time, the gyros was quite fatty, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault; it was the meat they delivered! The second time, everything was great! Making a reservation in advance or arriving at 5 p.m. when they open is recommended! We'll definitely be back at our Greek restaurant on our next trip to the Moselle!

Since I am on vacation with my grandparents, we wanted to go out for Greek food again. The restaurant immediately caught my eye and was enthusiastic about the reviews. So I called and asked if there were any tables available. I was able to reserve a table for 7 p.m. I also asked if the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and if a dog could come with me. Both were confirmed. I was told there were three people, a wheelchair and a dog. No sooner said than done. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 p.m. and saw that there was no wheelchair-accessible entrance. It was annoying, but so far it was okay. So I went in to say that we couldn't take the table because my grandpa can't climb the stairs. I was immediately told in a rude tone that I had supposedly reserved the table for 5:40 p.m. I said no and explained the situation to him again. We were then asked to take a seat. So he didn't understand that I no longer wanted to take the table. After receiving an exceptionally grim look, I was allowed to leave the restaurant. The ambiance, as far as I could tell, looked very cozy. It was a small but chic restaurant.

Went here for dinner, based on Google reviews, but it was disappointing. There was no sandwich as a starter, which I'm used to with Greek food. The mixed grill didn't come with any sauce (ordered separately), and the food was very salty and the pork quite dry.
