Sehr gemütlich und sehr freundlich. Lahmacunteig gut gebacken. Scharfe Soße ist angenehm scharf, Salat sehr knackig. Die Gäste trinken hier schon mittags Bier, es ist also nicht so eine Islamistenbude, was ich sehe sympathisch finde. Ich kann den Laden sehr empfehlen und würde immer wieder hingehen

Ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht. Akkols war früher der beste Döner. Seit meiner Kindheit haben wir nur hier Döner geholt. Als der Vorfall mit den Salmonellen war dachten wir uns, sie haben daraus gelernt und bestimmt die Qualität wieder hergestellt. Doch als wir uns heute wieder Döner geholt hatten waren wir schwer enttäuscht. 7,50€, Brot vom Vortag, Fleisch teils knorpelig, kaum Sauce oder Gemüse. Geschmacklich kein Vergleich zu früher. Ich würde mir wirklich wünschen dass das Akkols wieder zu alter Größe zurückfindet, aber nicht mit dieser Qualität.

Familiär, man ist immer willkommen und wird freundlich begrüßt, man redet immer mit einem und das Essen ist konstant lecker und die Portionen sind nie geschrumpft! Seit Jahren begeistert und viele Feste dort schon gefeiert!

Das Essen und der Service waren sehr 👍 gut . Ich hole seit 15 Jahren Döner ,war aber bis jetzt noch nicht im Lokal gesessen werde aber garantiert wiederkommen, denn frisch serviert schmeckt es mir noch besser.

Great restaurant, delicious dishes, and friendly service! I've been happily visiting "Akkol's" for 25 years! The food and dishes on offer are incredibly delicious, and the service is very friendly! Special requests are no problem here and are fulfilled promptly. The incident that occurred some time ago certainly shouldn't be brushed aside. But I have the feeling that this occasion is now being abused to repeatedly damage the restaurateur, and that shouldn't be allowed to happen! Everyone should have the opportunity to start anew...or shouldn't they? We would like that for ourselves, too! Conclusion! We'd happily drive 40 kilometers just to enjoy a plate of doner kebabs and the other delicious dishes here. If you're looking for outstanding Mediterranean, Turkish dishes paired with extremely friendly service, this is the place for you! I wish Akkol's all the best and continued success!

I've known the Akkols for a long time and have been a customer there for a long time! The quality of the food has always been top-notch! What happened now is obviously not nice! Nobody, neither the owner nor the customer, wants to end up sick in bed after a visit to a restaurant. But anyone who knows the two brothers knows that there was no intention behind it! In any case, I will continue to come and get my kebab from them or eat there! 🙋‍♀️

I visited Akkol after the reopening. I ordered a plate from the daily specials with doner meat. I was very satisfied. It tasted great. The portion was large. The owner assured me that the responsibility for the unfortunate incidents clearly lies with the supplier. He said that he has been a reliable restaurateur for 30 years, for whom the health and well-being of his guests is his top priority. I wish the Akkols a successful new beginning. I will remain a loyal customer in the future!

We got four kebabs today after the enforced break. Amazing! The bread was really crispy, and so was the meat. Simply delicious. 👍

We love the friendly service and the delicious food. 😀 Not only the doner kebabs are delicious here, but also the other Turkish dishes. The portions are generous. The restaurant is small and cozy. When the weather's nice, you should definitely enjoy the spacious outdoor area under the trees.

The exceptionally friendly owners serve huge portions of truly delicious kebabs, but also have other dishes on the menu (e.g., schnitzel, various pasta dishes, even smaller plates for children), and all at truly reasonable prices. You dine in the garden under the trees and feel at home – it doesn't get any better than this!

We were here again and it was very good... we'll definitely be back soon. The beer garden is across the street, but still nice.

I had salmonella poisoning and the resulting sepsis. I spent 5 weeks in the hospital (intensive care) with 3 weeks of rehab afterward. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well. That will be my last kebab there. Please give a sensible statement or report here (I don't have Facebook, I'm young).

I eat there regularly and have never had any problems. According to my information, it was a mistake on the part of the meat supplier, not the restaurant.

Hello, I've been a regular customer at Akkol for years and have always been very satisfied with the food, the staff, etc. I've never been disappointed. It's downright shabby to put up a sign and blame everything on the supplier! The fact is, the buyer is supposed to check the temperature when the meat arrives, and besides, it's certainly not the supplier's fault if raw meat is sold in kebabs!

Spread through poor hygiene Proliferation usually occurs through unhygienic storage of food, i.e., excessively warm or excessively long storage of food, or interruption of the cold chain during transport. Touching and handling infected food can contaminate other foods, kitchen equipment, and people (cross-contamination). As a meat eater, you have to ask yourself: Where does the meat come from? How high-quality is the food? Mass production? What ethical considerations do Akkol have, and are hygiene guidelines and requirements met at the Akkol restaurant?

My whole family and our friends became ill after eating Döner here 3 weeks ago and my daughter was sick for over 10 days.

If you want a good kebab and are at risk of salmonella poisoning, this is the perfect kebab shop. For eight euros, the Dürüm is truly disappointing, and the sauce selection is poor. Aside from the health risks, the taste is also insulting every time. If the option is available, I'd rather go hungry than eat here.

WARNING! My son (4 years old) went there with his grandmother for a kebab on June 11, 2025. My son was subsequently in the hospital on a drip for over a week due to salmonella poisoning and was only passing blood. I've never seen a child suffer so much! Luckily, my mother only took one bite and had terrible cramps that evening!

My four-year-old grandson spent five days in the hospital after eating a kebab. Salmonella poisoning. He had intestinal bleeding and severe stomach cramps and excruciating pain. The restaurant must close! The health department has been contacted.

Warning about this shop! About a week ago, I ate a kebab there with a friend – since then, we've both had health problems. A doctor-confirmed stool sample confirmed salmonella in our case. My boyfriend has even been in the hospital for several days, with no improvement so far. I, too, continue to have severe symptoms. We strongly suspect it was due to poor hygiene or undercooked meat. I can only strongly advise against eating there until the shop has been thoroughly inspected. Health comes first. This kind of thing shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry!

I ate at this restaurant with a friend about a week ago. Unfortunately, we've both been suffering from severe gastrointestinal problems since then. I've since been medically confirmed to have salmonella, which is why I'm currently being treated in the hospital. There's a strong suspicion that the infection is related to my visit to this restaurant. It's extremely disappointing and worrying that such hygiene deficiencies can apparently occur. I sincerely hope that appropriate checks are carried out and measures are taken to prevent further cases.

We visit Akkols every now and then with our regulars and have been very satisfied every time. Table reservations were always easy, and they even found a solution when we had two extra people. The service from the friendly owner and staff has always been excellent. The food is plentiful and delicious. Also worth mentioning is the arrangement with the beer garden across the street, which allows us to eat food from the restaurant there. We're always happy to come back.

I was there a while ago and they put something on it that I didn't want at all. Today I was there again and a small doner kebab could be compared to a roll from Lidl. Absolute cheek and I pay 4.50 for 3 bites or so.

Doner kebab plate and vegetables to take away. The salad was missing from one plate, the vegetables were cold...not even lukewarm, but refrigerated cold!!! We were even asked if we wanted it warm. The staff was...well, it seemed like they didn't like doing it. The faces were long and not even a sign of a smile. We were there several times years ago and were used to different things. I ordered Berliner kebab, I got a regular one that was missing the sauce.

Unfortunately, the kebab I tried here was not a good experience. It lacked the authenticity of a real Berlin kebab. The amount of carrots was excessive and they were too soft and sweet. The sauce was barely noticeable and the flavor of the meat was lost due to the mushy grilled vegetables. Overall it wasn't an enrichment for my taste experience. Kind regards. Ich mag das Essen dort sehr gerne. Die Pasta Gerichte sind auch top und die Betreiber mega nett, freundlich und immer gut gelaunt . Der Biergarten ist auch sehr schön!

Das Akkol's Restaurant ist eine super Anlaufstelle für einen hungrigen Magen und bietet eine große Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten türkischen Spezialitäten, Beilagen und vielem mehr. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen, das Personal sehr freundlich und immer für einen Smalltalk zu haben. Der Eingang des Restaurants ist barrierefrei - ebenso die vorderen Tische. Allerdings ist das WC schmal gehalten und lediglich über Treppenstufen erreichbar. Alles in allem ist es einen Abstecher wert und eine große Empfehlung!

So einen schlechten Döner hab ich lange nicht gegessen , selbst mit viel scharf nicht zu empfehlen! Kein Stern!!!

Der Döner hat mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Das Ambiente im Restaurant selbst ist wie in einer kleinen Kneipe, alles recht eng und optisch wenig ansprechend. Hat überhaupt kein orientalisches Flair. Zwei Punkte deshalb, weil ich die Herrschaften beobachtet habe, welche die Gerichte zubereiten bzw. die Döner belegen usw. Schweiß wurde mit der Hand abgewischt, mit welcher dann auch das Dönerbrot angelangt wurde. Bei einem Tellergericht ist etwas Reis auf die Arbeitsplatte gefallen, dieser wurde vom Mitarbeiter aufgesammelt und zurück in den Teller befördert. Geld wird auch mit gleichen Händen angefasst, mit welchen man auch z. B. das Brot in den Kontaktgrill legt. War also keine appetitliche Erfahrung für mich.

So einen schlechten Döner habe ich im Raum Franken noch nicht gegessen das Fleisch war ein einziges Stück Fett, die Soße war einfach nur Quark und das Brot auch nicht sonderlich. Kann nur jedem empfehlen einen anderen Döner zu essen nur nicht dort. DÖNER KOSTET 7€ also auch kein Schnäppchen und der Big Döner 14€
