Super friendly and absolutely delicious! This is a hidden gem!

We've been going there regularly for a while now... A few days ago, we picked up our usual food (the same as always): "Hummus Shakshuka" Unfortunately, the portion of shakshuka on top of the hummus was very small compared to usual. So we wanted to order two shakshuka and one hummus to go. After a while, the server came and told us that since the shakshuka didn't look good enough to take away and the food had to be served hot, we couldn't have any to go. What?! What a shame... so we won't be going there again!

Such a lovely place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, full of rich flavour, and beautifully prepared. On top of that, the service is wonderful—friendly, smiley, and genuinely kind. A truly delightful experience from start to finish.

Edit: I posted a great review earlier, but they have reduced portion sizes by 40%. I ordered on Wolt and got half the portion. This is quite annoying as I am paying the same price!!! One of the most interesting and amazing meals I’ve had in Berlin. Very friendly people and the best food! Definitely recommend trying. As gluten and lactose free, there were plenty of options for me :)

Wow, amazing! I last ate jackfruit as a meat substitute during an Ayurvedic treatment in Sri Lanka – for me, there's nothing better. Plus, the shop is very nicely decorated, the service is super friendly, and they serve it with fresh olives and pepperoni!

The food is fantastic, and the sharing is perfect. The tea is served with fresh herbs. The place isn't particularly big, but the six of us were lucky enough to get a large table right away.

We came from Vancouver and this was one of our first meals in Berlin. We had the cauliflower dish and the hummus classic - this was honestly the best most nourishing food I have had in a while. Served with love - the presentation was gorgeous.

My favorite hummus bar in Berlin. It’s just a 7-minute walk from Warschauer Straße, making it super convenient to reach. Booking a table is easy, and the owner is always warm and welcoming, it gives the place a really relaxed and friendly vibe. The menu is simple and well-curated, with no overwhelming choices, just delicious, comforting food and drinks. Everything is vegetarian, which makes it an excellent spot if you’re dining with someone who prefers halal. There’s a board outside displaying the daily menu, so you can see what’s available before going in. I highly recommend sitting outside, it’s perfect for a casual meal and a bit of people-watching.

Really great food, the single platter is a really big meal, the jack fruit shawarna was the highlight - really great food and fair prices.

Very tasty Levante cuisine in a simply furnished but cozy restaurant. All dishes are vegetarian. We had an akkawy plate with beetroot hummus, zahar (baked cauliflower with tahini), mujadara (lentil and rice dish) and one foul. Both were very tasty. The service was extremely attentive and the prices were quite low - great value! You definitely won't spend the whole evening here, but Akkawy is definitely worth a stop before moving on to concerts or bars.
