My wife and I spontaneously went there on a Friday evening and were offered tables. The service was very quick and the appetizers were warm and delicious. The main course was the highlight for me. My wife's sushi was also excellent and tasty. The homemade lemonades were a treat, and it was nice to have a different drink menu than the usual ones. Dessert was also delicious. In the end, we paid €105, but it was worth every penny. No alcohol in the sushi!

Price too high for poor quality. Frozen goods fried in bad oil. Dessert was okay.

One evening after work, I was really hungry, but many restaurants had already closed—only this Asian restaurant was still open. I was so glad I found it! 😊 The staff made us a special honey-orange drink, which was absolutely delicious. When ordering, I asked the chef to prepare the dishes with an Asian twist, but the employee said he couldn't guarantee that the chef would be able to do it. In the end, I was very happy with the result—it wasn't a European taste, but just right for me. I will definitely come back! The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated.

It was my first time there, on a friend's recommendation. And... what can I say? It was delicious! Especially the banana dessert – wow! And the service was very friendly. The interior design is really well done and stylish, but a bit chilly. Therefore, 3 stars.

The delivery took an extremely long time, over an hour, but the driver was very nice. The sushi itself was of decent quality and tasted good, however, it only came with two tiny containers of soy sauce. For this quantity of sushi (approximately 24 rolls), that's definitely very inadequate.

The sushi was okay, very small and thinly sliced. Finally, we ordered the mixed sushi: three pieces cut in half for €8, which was outrageous. And the waitress was very unfriendly. Thumbs down. I won't be back.

The food was very delicious. I had to deduct a few points because I wanted noodles instead of rice, but that wasn't possible. I wanted to skip the rice and have a small noodle dish instead. The rice was still served and was charged. I couldn't discuss it with the employee because she didn't understand.

Ludwigsburg's favorite Asian restaurant with fantastic sushi. A weekly or seasonal menu with a changing selection of hot dishes wouldn't be a bad idea. The hot dishes are easy to try.

I was very pleased with my visit to AKENO in Ludwigsburg. The server was very friendly and welcomed us immediately. We ate in the winter garden, which offers a truly lovely ambiance. The food arrived quickly, was delicious, and the portions were generous. The value for money was absolutely perfect. The restaurant seemed clean and inviting, and I left full and satisfied. My only minor criticism: the menu was a bit dated. Overall, a very pleasant visit, and I'd be happy to return!

Another ray of hope for Asian cuisine in the restaurant heaven. The restaurant is very stylishly furnished and the menu is varied. Thai, Korean, Vietnamese and above all Japanese. The prices are high, but the quality matches the price. I particularly like the fact that you can eat cheaply but also pay top dollar for first-class sushi. Parking spaces are available nearby in various parking garages. The staff is very friendly and humorous. We enjoyed it very much and, above all, the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

The drink prices here are absolutely outrageous. €5 for a 0.33L soft drink €7.50 for a 0.75L bottle of water They're completely crazy. That's at least 10 times the price of what you'd pay at the supermarket. I also had a ramen soup that tasted of almost nothing, and they clearly skimped on ingredients. Sad, better not eat here if you don't want to be completely ripped off for bad food.

We ordered a year ago and were very satisfied. Unfortunately the quality has declined considerably; the food was neither fresh nor tasty. The mango and papaya salad were 90% just leaf salad and the rest was unfresh fruit. The whole thing came completely without dressing and when we asked on the phone we were told that the sweet chili sauce was supposed to be the dressing. That has nothing to do with authentic food. 0 points. Sushi was so-so but nothing compared to last year. There was hardly any ginger or wasabi and when we asked on the phone we were told that the wasabi would be delivered later. We are still waiting. For 140 euros that is a bitter disappointment and we are not picky.

The restaurant is nicely decorated; the cherry tree in the conservatory is a real eye-catcher. The service is also very fast and friendly. The only thing that didn't blow me away was the food. There was far too much sauce, which should have tasted like mango, but only had a hint of orange. The sushi, on the other hand, was beautifully presented and tasted good.

I can't comment on the ambiance because I had takeout. Five rolls of sushi were simply packed in a box, which wasn't bad in itself, but when we picked them up, we said they were going to different restaurants. The young man at the counter seemed very unfriendly and dismissive, and indirectly tried to tell us that it was our fault. You can smell that everything is packed together. In every other sushi shop, each roll is packaged separately. I bought food for over €100, but I think people are just too comfortable, which is why they become unfriendly. As for the food itself: Papaya salad (€14) and mango salad (€7) were a complete disaster; both consisted of 80% lettuce and greens and 20% unripe fruit. Sushi was very tasty and fresh. I will still avoid this shop in the future.

We were regular customers for months and got a very tasty, supposedly vegetarian Pho almost every week (actually 5 stars for that). Unfortunately, last week we discovered that despite the label “vg” on the menu, the Pho is not vegetarian, but is made from beef bones, as an employee on site confirmed to us. We are quite disappointed about this and hope that this situation will change as quickly as possible. As soon as the Pho is truly vegan/vegetarian, we'll be back!

Unfortunately our visit today was a big disappointment. The location looks super promising. When we got our sushi and had to sort out who had ordered what, the waitress unfortunately couldn't tell us what was what and was very annoyed and unfriendly. Unfortunately the sushi itself wasn't good at all. Nothing special in terms of taste, and when I saw the salmon, which had probably been lying around open all day and had a different color and a different consistency, I unfortunately lost my appetite. The mango was absolutely far from what you imagine, still green/white and didn't taste like anything. And unfortunately the tempura roll was also cold and didn't taste fresh. We ordered the Hugo without a price list because there were no drinks listed on the menu and we didn't get a drinks menu. Unfortunately, the service wasn't good at all. We could have died of thirst and no one would have noticed. We subsequently paid a relatively unreasonable price. Unfortunately not a recommendation, you won't see me here again. There is much better sushi in a very small area.

I wouldn't go here again - there are better sushi shops... The menu - a no-go - tattered paper collection with a few stains - if it's a card like that, please always replace it.... Dishes chipped with lots of flaws - risk of injury!!! Drinks for homemade lemonade - very expensive - in terms of taste and size and use of material Service friendly, with language barriers - sometimes uncoordinated... Food was good - the rice wasn't my favorite though - but that's a matter of taste Fish was fresh! Ambiance - some of the lamps hang very poorly over the tables so that a person was constantly in the spotlight from above and was blinded... Toilets - the path to the toilets is very noticeable as the plaster is peeling off the wall - the toilets themselves - in need of renovation - would be more appropriate in a pub, but not in such a high-priced establishment... Conclusion: Not again...

The "Tom Yum Soup with Tofu", which was advertised as vegan, was delivered with chicken instead of tofu, which is very annoying for a vegan. The “Udon with Tofu” that was also ordered was good and according to the order.

When I got the menu I actually wanted to leave straight away, it was torn and dingy. My daughter persuaded me to stay. The food was great. But the cards don't work at all. The service was a bit overwhelming.

Unfortunately only one star! The food was average, which is of course also a matter of taste. The ambience is great and very pleasant, the only thing that didn't work was the service. The lady who served us was very nice and tried hard, even though some things we ordered were forgotten (coke, soy sauce, etc.) but that can be forgiven! Then why only one star? An incredible 45 minutes before closing time, we were made aware that the final round of orders for DRINKS was now available!! There were 10 of us at the table and we also left a lot of money, it would definitely have been even more if the staff hadn't prepared for the end of the day 45 minutes in advance - unbelievable behavior and unacceptable! Service is something else and this is how you managed to lose 10 people in one fell swoop!

Hello, I would like to ask you to pay attention to your waiters, it is not my first time in your restaurant. But yesterday the mood and atmosphere was bad, when we ordered a table, no one said that 14.02.25 sushi would not be served, we were only informed about this when we sat down at the table. Very long service, the waiter selectively brought sushi for other tables on 02/14/25, when we asked why we couldn't order and people who came later ordered, there was no proper answer. The waiter ignored requests for the bill for a long time and only put the bill after asking twice, the request to take the food away was ignored again, the waiter spoke to the other waiter in another language directly when billing, I think it is very unethical for the establishment. The service in the restaurant is at a low level.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed. I've always ordered the Fire Bird menu with duck the last 5 times. 2 times the food was great, the other 3 times it was really bad. I ordered yesterday, the food was cold, the duck didn't really taste good and it still made me feel sick in my stomach. And the rice was so-so, as if they had already prepared it and were waiting for someone to order it. So with these prices you have such changes in taste... It's a 50/50 change that your food will be delicious if you order there👎🏽

Unfortunately not as good as it was a year ago. Back in January 2024 4.5 stars - in January 2025 from 7 of us only 3 stars, so rather average. The same! homemade! Lemonade too sweet this time. Cucumis and cucumbers beautiful. - Crystal Rolls = Summer Rolls this time much smaller - and unfortunately instead of the Asian herb bundle there is only wilted, hard rocket in them - oh no! These appetizer “rolls” were really no fun – whether with chicken, beef or shrimp. - Main courses quite good, really reasonably priced. But the pep from the 2024 visit wasn't really there either. - the staff was always very nice and attentive; a friendly young team! - the restaurant is cozy and nice as usual. I'm happy to give 4 or 5 Google stars as a rating again - but this time 3*** is appropriate. Because it was much better. Not meant in a bad or derogatory way - but it wasn't really consistent this time, no.

The golden crepes simply taste like nothing, the garlic sauce smells like vomit and the spring rolls taste exactly like those from the frozen food store. Everything arrived cold. Both the sushi and the plated dishes are excellent and very attractively prepared - a visual and taste highlight! In terms of price, it is rather more expensive. The restaurant itself is attractively decorated, but the toilets are in urgent need of renovation. It doesn't smell pleasant there, the toilet roll holder has fallen off, the doors don't close well.

We were very surprised at how delicious the sushi tasted there 🥰 There is enough choice and there is something for everyone. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the atmosphere😊 We will definitely have our sushi dates there more often 🍣

Currently our favorite when it comes to sushi at Lubu. The fried rolls are unbeatable. Unfortunately I can't rate it on site as we only order for pickup. However, the atmosphere looks very inviting.

I enjoyed eating at Akeno until I ate the curry with rice last time. Exactly three hours after eating I felt incredibly bad. It was obvious that I got food poisoning from the rice. I described this by calling the next day when I was feeling better (it was definitely not a gastrointestinal infection). They apologized (presumably so that I wouldn't report it to the health department) and wanted to get back to me as quickly as possible, but to date - 3 months later - nothing... What a shame! After the experience, I cannot and will not go to Akeno again.

I ordered Pho there. It wasn't edible, it just tasted sour, like it was made with kimchi or just gone bad from the heat. The soup was red and had vermicelli instead of the flat rice noodles that are typical for Pho. As a note, I wrote “without spring onions” and of course they were included in the broth and noodles. In the end it didn't matter because after trying it the soup went into the toilet. If I were there, I would have asked the chef to try it (obviously for the first time) and would have given it back and not paid for it. Paid over €30 for 2 soups.

We have often ordered and always picked it up ourselves. The food is very good, but the service drops from time to time. Despite the pick-up times being stated, these are usually R. Not adhered to and I have to wait another 20-30 minutes in the restaurant. That's quite a shame. And the indifference of the staff is unparalleled. It's a shame because this significantly reduces the overall impression of the quality 😔

Unfortunately the food for €20 wasn't good at all. It only tasted like burnt onions and was generally bland, although the description sounded really exciting, with lime leaves etc. The China box for €5 tastes better. Will not order here again. I just don't see the point of having to season the meal with Maggie for €20.

Ordered from Akeno for the first time this evening as a delivery via Lieferando. I got this (see photo) for €19.70. The fish was of good quality. However, the sushi was very sloppily made. One maki was only filled with rice, two maki fell apart, 2 pieces of the green roll were only filled with salmon (avocado and mango were missing). Just very unloving. It's a shame, because when you eat sushi, your eyes eat too.

We have been to Akeno several times and often ordered sushi home. Ordering via the website works perfectly and delivery was still on time. As sushi fans who have tried a lot, we can say that Akeno really has the best sushi around - and at a good price-performance ratio (even if sushi is of course never cheap). The menus are great and varied, the fish is fresh and the ratio of rice to fish is ideal. We are thrilled and can only recommend Akeno!
