We had a very nice celebration here with 17 people. Nice ambience, good food, first class service and our guests really enjoyed it. Plenty of parking spaces and if the weather is nice too: great!

My husband and a work colleague visited on a rainy Tuesday night, having a wonderful pumpkin soup that delectably highlighted the seasons flavours and will be forever a memory of this visit to Germany. The portions are very generous so please take note of the comment at the bottom of the menu that allows you to ask for a smaller portion if required. The schnitzel was very good but was overshadowed by beautiful chips that are cut with a type of lathe or shape machine offering them additional surface area so they are almost “U shaped” rather than squared. I could eat an entire plate of just the chips! The vegetables served with our colleagues dinner looked incredible and there were so many he couldn’t finish them. The only word to the wise I would offer is as a visitor to this beautiful part of Germany, I was unaware that Tabasco sauce is traditionally a key component of steak tartar which meant my palate couldn’t quite handle the spice, but of what I did eat, it was very memorable and very tasty. I look forward to visiting this place again sometime in the future and trying more items on their menu. The best thing about this restaurant was that it was very slow gentle dining and we were never rushed.

The salad was fresh. In my opinion, a salad plate looks different. It was a salad plate with a slice of baquette. The male waitress was very nice and understanding.

Very good food, very friendly staff, courteous service. Despite the high number of visitors, there are no long waiting times. We all got our food (11 people) together, everyone enjoyed it. The ambience and location of the restaurant with a large outdoor area is idyllic on the golf course.

After many visits to eat and drink, in the restaurant, on the terrace or in the beer garden, whether privately, for business, at events or even with children, the favorite dish is absolutely recommended in every respect! Apparently the word has already gotten around as a “secret tip”, it is quite crowded there in the afternoon/evening and when the weather is nice and the golfers also want to use your club restaurant (which is why areas are pre-reserved there). A reservation is certainly recommended, as the rush of guests sometimes exceeds the capacity of the restaurant... but that should certainly be a good sign! We feel very well looked after there at all times and would be happy to come back! Many greetings to the entire team, keep it up!

The big negative is that no one ever answers the phone. During a visit to the restaurant, we called and checked to see if the doorbell rang and someone answered, but it was ignored. “Pride comes before a fall”

Reservation as a group. We were allowed to order drinks first and then when we had the drinks the food and not together?? For an upscale establishment the service was really not very good or friendly. You didn't know if he wanted to. High expectations of the food - unfortunately it didn't meet my taste. The view and location of the local golf course is nice.

Praise to the whole team remains with us, something like this has been missing in Ludwigsburg for a long time! I am a regular guest at the favorite dish. The Swabian cuisine is excellent. The highlight is the sauce, served separately with a spoon, for example with Maultaschen or schnitzel. The service is impressive and in combination with the beautiful ambience, a short lunch has often become a relaxed experience. Even in the evening, the view of the Hoher Asperg is very relaxing - paired with good food and great wines. An absolute recommendation in and around Ludwigsburg.

The service from the blonde young waitress is just terribly bad. We often eat in the restaurant, which is ideal: 1. after golfing and 2. the food is really good and 3. the atmosphere is really nice. But how can you let such an unmotivated, impudent person work in an environment where you have customer contact, despite the fact that we have drawn our attention several times and completely ignored us???? This didn't happen the first time, but for me the third time in a very short time. even if the restaurant is almost empty. But we didn't want to let it ruin our relaxing day so far and then we went to another restaurant, VITA in Bietigheim, for lunch - highly recommended, with top service and really good food. I hope we can try again, because as I said, in addition to the young waitresses, there are also 2 waiters who are super hard-working and very attentive and often take over tables that the female. staff are assigned because they don't want to serve.

By far my worst restaurant experience... We were here with our guests (15 people in total) after our civil wedding. I had been in contact with the restaurant for 5 months and, when asked a few days before the visit, I was confirmed again that everything was working as discussed. However, as the bride and groom, we were greeted without congratulations with the words: “Here is your table, but it is only for 12 people. Now we have to see how we can do it, because I can't actually manage three more chairs." It continued with the missing, pre-ordered champagne reception. Have we been forgotten? It was our wedding after all! The table was also without any decorations – no flowers, no lights. The crowning achievement, however, was a young waitress who treated us and our guests condescendingly and arrogantly and ultimately threw us out of the restaurant with extremely rude words. Despite my husband talking to the restaurant manager, there was no apology. For such an upscale restaurant with Monrepos's good reputation, I had much higher expectations. Even in a fast food restaurant, this behavior would have been completely inappropriate. I am permanently stunned and it still bothers me to this day how one can behave in such an unprofessional manner towards a bride and groom and their guests. In my opinion, this was not only unfriendly service, but we also felt personally attacked.

Unfortunately red wines are only dry, a semi-dry one would be nice.

Female young service worker was rude and cheeky!!!! Apparently it was the boss's daughter. We were there for a wedding and were already paying, then they said that we should clear the table immediately for the evening business. We all sat together comfortably and wanted to end the beautiful, special day. When we asked her that it wasn't service-oriented, she said she didn't care. When we said that we couldn't recommend this place and that we would all give it a bad rating, she said it didn't interest her. Addendum: a champagne reception was booked by the bride and groom and the location knew when we would all arrive. Nothing was prepared. Only at the groom's request (after 20 minutes) did everyone have a glass of champagne brought to their place. I understand something different by a champagne reception. You arrive and are greeted with champagne. While standing, you toast the bride and groom. What a pity !!!!!!!

Very nice atmosphere with a view of the golf course. I can't say more positive things about the restaurant. For me, the service in the restaurant is one of the most important comfort factors. Unfortunately, from my experience here, the service is incompetent, condescending, extremely unfriendly (sounds: how many times do I have to scream before someone hears me, you have to leave now, I don't give a damn what you think) and, in my opinion, not only missed the job, but also didn't learn any manners. For me this is (unfortunately) the last time - both in the restaurant and on the golf course.

We eat at the favorite restaurant regularly because the food is really good. However, we are increasingly finding that we are completely ignored by the young waitress, even if we have drawn attention to ourselves. Finally, after waiting over 30 minutes for a card, we went. We've been watching the whole thing for several weeks, even at times when the restaurant is almost empty.

Everything should be just right on the most beautiful day of your life, unfortunately the unfriendly service staff didn't help. Although everything was discussed in advance and communicated at an early stage, many processes did not proceed satisfactorily! Starting with the slow champagne reception up to the outright eviction towards the end because the table should already be prepared for the next guests. Absolutely underground, never again!!!!

Wer sich den wichtigsten Tag seines Lebens so richtig durch unverschämtes Servicepersonal versauen lassen will, ist hier goldrichtig! Wir haben 5 Monate vor der Veranstaltung für 15 Hochzeitsgäste im Innenbereich reserviert und eine Woche vorher nochmal alles via Mail geklärt. Vor Ort waren bei pünktlicher Ankunft innen nur 12 Plätze verfügbar, weshalb wir in den Außenbereich weichen mussten. Den abgesprochenen (und bezahlten) Sektempfang gab es nicht wirklich. Nach 20 Minuten mussten wir das Personal daran erinnern und erhielten dann jeweils ein Sektglas an den Platz. Sektempfang für Hochzeitsgäste haben wir uns anders vorgestellt. Die Krönung war eine absolut respektlose Bedienung, die den Gästen durch Aussagen wie "Dann kommt ihr halt nicht mehr, mir doch egal." oder lachende und abwinkende Gesten das Gefühl gegeben hat, in diesem Lokal alles andere als willkommen zu sein. So etwas hat noch keiner der Gäste erlebt, die Nebentische haben ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht. Auch ein persönliches Gespräch (im Nebenraum) mit dem Chef hat lediglich zu ausweichenden Erklärungen geführt, jedoch nicht zu viel Verständnis. Verabschiedet wurden wir von der unverschämten Servicekraft mit den Worten "So, ihr müsst jetzt verschwinden, da kommen neue Gäste. Hopp." Wir haben übrigens einen hohen 3-stelligen Betrag bezahlt und sind nicht mal bis zum Nachtisch gekommen. Absolut unverständlich wie man sich so in einem Familienbetrieb aufführen kann, gerade in Zeiten des Personalmangels. Insbesondere als Brautpaar derart arrogant und verachtend behandelt zu werden, hat uns nachhaltig schockiert. Wir werden ab sofort jedem von diesem Lokal abraten und auch unsere Firmen-Events an einem anderen Ort ausrichten.

What the service staff does here is absolutely unbelievable. The entire company was so insulted by a young waitress that some guests left the restaurant. Sentences like “You have to get out of here now, the next ones are coming and you’ve already eaten” were used here. It was no longer possible to order dessert - none of those present had experienced anything like that before. We will certainly never enter this restaurant again and can only advise everyone not to do so.

..It's a real shame...., good food and nice ambience. The service staff cannot be surpassed in terms of arrogance and cheek. But it doesn't fit together! At such an upscale restaurant the GUEST must feel like a KING!!!!

I have never met such a disgraceful service person!!! Getting thrown out of the restaurant on the best day of your life because you have to set the tables for the evening is not an option. I just hope that the bride and groom don't take this to heart. This service force is bad for business and I wouldn't be surprised if the guests gradually start to stay away. I can only advise everyone to look for a place where you will be treated kindly and with respect, especially if you leave a lot of money there.

The food is passable and of good quality. The service is UNDERGROUND!!! First of all, at around 3:30 p.m. with 10% occupancy, you have to wait 45 minutes before you can even order, only to be constantly harassed by a young student assistant when you notice that a complete meal is missing, a cutlery is missing, etc . We are here for a wedding with locals and guests and everyone will never dine here again!

If you want to let the most important day of your life be ruined by rude service staff, you've come to the right place! We made reservations for 15 indoor wedding guests 5 months before the event and clarified everything via email a week before. When we arrived on time there were only 12 seats available inside, which is why we had to move outside. The agreed upon (and paid for) champagne reception didn't actually take place. After 20 minutes we had to remind the staff and were each given a champagne glass at our place. We imagined a different champagne reception for wedding guests. The crowning achievement was an absolutely disrespectful service, which the guests were insulted with statements like "Then you won't come anymore, I don't care." or laughing and waving gestures made you feel anything but welcome in this restaurant. None of the guests have ever experienced anything like this; the tables next to us have had similar experiences. A personal conversation (in the next room) with the boss only led to evasive explanations, but not to much understanding. We were said goodbye by the rude waitress with the words "Well, you have to leave now, there are new guests coming. Hopp." By the way, we paid a high three-figure amount and didn't even get to dessert. Absolutely incomprehensible how someone can behave like this in a family business, especially in times of staff shortages. Being treated with such arrogance and contempt, especially as a bride and groom, was a lasting shock to us. From now on we will advise everyone against this restaurant and will also organize our company events at a different location.

A young lady was not only unfriendly, but also extremely unprofessional and condescending towards the guests. Her arrogant attitude and obvious unwillingness to do her job seriously were more than just annoying. It was almost as if she was deliberately trying to ruin the guests' evening. I find it hard to imagine how such behavior can be tolerated in a professional environment, unless of course family connections are involved. It's really a shame that this kind of behavior is represented in the family business.

We expected more from the restaurant's dishes. It is probably an impertinence to write “housewife-style matjes fillet” on the menu. 1 1/2 was served Herring fillet herring style with 20 slices of fried potatoes for 18.00 EUR.

Wir hatten am Tag zuvor telefonisch reserviert. Bei Ankunft am Lokal war ein Schild auf der Terrasse hier zu warten. Wir interpretierten dieses Schild ausschließlich für den Terrassenbereich geltend und betraten das Restaurant um im Eingangsbereich innen zu warten. Als der Restaurantleiter Herr Vidackovic kam, wurden wir mit sehr rüden Worten abgekanzelt draußen zu warten. Als ich sagte wir hätten reserviert die gleiche Antwort, dieses Mal sogar noch unhöflicher. Das war für uns der Anlass zu gehen. Vielen Dank Herr Vidackovic, ich hatte Sie jedoch als höflichen Mitmenschen in Erinnerung. Dieser Auftritt von Herrn Vidackovic hat uns sehr unangenehm berührt.

We've been to the favorite dish several times recently, so it's time for a written response. I like the setup and the map, but the map should offer a little more variety in the long run. The service has a lot to do with the restaurant and the terrace, especially when the beer garden is also open. Then it gets really busy and the ladies have to dash around quite a bit. I would particularly like to mention a very nice, young waitress (student? part-time?) who has an incredibly great way with the guests - nice, friendly and charmingly present. That's what you want. Actually, I don't think it's a bad thing if you serve bottles in a restaurant. However, I think it would be better if the glass was poured straight away when it was first served. Maybe for the future. You can expect rock-solid cuisine without any frills, I enjoyed it and the waiting time was reasonable despite the full house. It's definitely nice there when the weather is nice. I will go again.

Today we were there for the first time with four people and we were very impressed. The restaurant is very well maintained and furnished to a high standard. The food is wonderful in quality. Tastes very good. Also how it is served. Overall I would say very good quality. Thank you.

Top modern restaurant. With very good food, at not really outrageous prices, as is unfortunately the case with many in the catering industry. A very nice lady served us and did a really good job. We felt very comfortable. By the way, we also found the visitors generally very pleasant. No shouting, no strange people. Everything was very calm and cultivated. That gave the restaurant another special touch. From now on for Sunday afternoon, our new regular restaurant. I would give an extra star here again for the really good price-performance ratio. I’ve been here for a quick business lunch during a local supplier visit. Elegant atmosphere, good typical German food, very tasty. I do back again next time I’ll be here. There’s also the opportunity to visit the old Monrepos Castle and golf club, cool!

The favorite dish has a manageable menu. What in my opinion? is to be assessed positively. The onion roast is one of the best I've eaten; I can only report positive things about the other dishes. The neighboring winery Herzog von Württemberg naturally supplies the favorite dish with the right wines. We love coming to the restaurant on special occasions and so far we haven't regretted it
