Waren mit unseren Kirchenchor zum Essen und haben das leckere Buffet sehr genossen. Wunderbarer Service von flinkem Personal, trotz der Hitze.

Wir haben es genossen und tun es jedes Mal, wenn wir dorthin fahren.

Der Cheff ist grenzwertig unangenehm. Gespräche mit der weiblichen Belegschaft offenbart ein veraltetes Weltbild. Er ist anscheinend auch sehr nachtragend. Da gab es Probleme mit der Steuerstelle für Minijobber, weil er sie immer wieder angemeldet hat. Naja, man gibt sich mühe überteuerte Waren zu verkaufen, leider reicht die pure Dienstleistung nicht aus um überdurchschnittlich aufzufallen. Vielleicht wird es beim nächsten Mal besser. Die Örtlichkeit ist super.

Wir waren bereits zweimal hintereinander dort. Der Service ist gut. Man kann im Selbstbedienungsbereich gut sitzen und den Flugbetrieb beobachten. Aber es gibt auch einen Restaurantbereich mit Aussengastro. Das Essen ist sehr lecker.

Wir waren heute im Airfield und haben dort Speisen und Getränke konsumiert. Aufgrund des tollen Wetters war dort heute sehr viel los. Trotzdem wurden Getränke und auch die Speisen relativ zügig zubereitet. Ein Lob an das Personal! Das Preis-/ Leistungsangebot ist sehr gut. Die Currywust und auch die Pommes waren sehr lecker. Auch das Backfischbrötchen ist hier sehr lecker und war sehr nett angerichtet. Zu einem Preis von 6,90 Euro wirklich top! Auch hatten wir Schnitzel bestellt. Diese waren sehr gut, aber die "Zigeunersauce" ist hier nicht zu empfehlen. Diese bestand aus passierten Tomaten mit Paprikastückchen und war fast gänzlich ungewürzt (...."das war nix...." ;-). Die Schnitzel selbst waren aber wirklich super. Wegen der Sauce gebe ich daher hier nur 4 Punkte, diese ist wirklich verbesserungbedürftig. Alles andere war wirklich sehr lecker! Ein Lob an die Küche!! Aber einen Besuch hier kann man gänzlich empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Als Ausflugslokal wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Sehr gutes Schnitzelbuffet zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Lokation auch mit Kindern toll dank Spielplatz und Flugzeuge gucken.

The fish buffet on Friday at lunchtime is something you should try (if you like fish), varied, delicious appetizers, suitable side dishes for the fish variations and plenty of different types of beer to try.

This was our first time eating here. The food was delicious, and the price was right. The staff and the owner were all very friendly and accommodating. We took a flyer with us; they have some great offers. We'll definitely be back.

I called there and reserved a table for Thursday, then asked what the lunch buffet was. I received a very unfriendly and rude response from a gentleman...for a price of €9.90, a guest shouldn't know that. He told us to please go somewhere else, and he hung up immediately. I've never encountered such unfriendly behavior. Naturally, we canceled the table. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend the restaurant under any circumstances.

The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and the selection is extensive – the burgers and the schnitzel buffet are especially recommended. There are a wide variety of delicious beers to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the view of the planes taking off makes the visit a special one. Absolutely top-notch value for money – we'd love to go back!

Great Monday lunch buffet for 10 euros. Braten, Hack, Grießknödel, Sauerkraut, roasted pork,more, selection of veggies, small sides and various deserts.

Everything looks a bit improvised outside, but ok inside.

Always recommended for a well-deserved break on our bike tours 😊.

I was there for the airfield festival. The food was good, but they didn't charge the price listed on the menu, but simply a higher price, which I unfortunately didn't notice until a day later. I emailed the owner for a refund, but I haven't received a response. It seems to be a scam to make some extra money. So always check the bill right away to make sure everything has been calculated correctly. Therefore, I'm giving the service 1 star.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) The food was okay, but in my opinion, it seemed like frozen food. Unfortunately, the fries were sold out – which I find incomprehensible at such a large event. This resulted in a very long wait, which I think could have been better managed. Another criticism: When we asked for the restroom, an employee turned us away quite rudely and inappropriately. That was a shame and could have been handled much more pleasantly. I would like to highlight the positive value – it was absolutely fine overall. Therefore, I'm giving it 4 stars.

The worst restaurant I've ever been to. A schnitzel buffet is advertised on the website and on-site – when I arrived, I discovered that it won't be available again until September. When I suggested updating the information so that no more guests would travel for nothing and be disappointed, I was insulted. Instead of correcting the false advertising, I was even told that guests only come for that reason and therefore it won't be changed. Unfortunately, that's not how you treat guests – disappointing and unprofessional.

Wanted to book the schnitzel buffet on site...so I was there in person today. (It's on the internet, it's on the door I just went through) it won't be available again until September, they said...when I pointed out that they should update their website and take the note off the door, they replied: "I don't give a damn what's on the internet." After that, it continued at the same level.

Pleasant atmosphere for summer afternoons. Self-service is the order of the day, but large orders are sometimes brought to your table. It's right next to the airfield, where small planes occasionally take off. I thought it was very nice.

Today I ate a deep-fried schnitzel with fries. It just wasn't good. It was dripping with grease and took almost an hour to get to me. The fries were too salty... no, today wasn't good.

I had lunch at the Airfield Restaurant today and had chicken breast with pineapple and curry sauce, along with French fries. The food was absolutely delicious, although I would have preferred a freshly tapped beer/pilsner to accompany it rather than a bottle. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and, like a professional, served the food perfectly.

After a long time, I had a wonderful time at the airfield. The restaurant has expanded significantly over the years, all for the better. I really enjoyed it; the food was good, and the staff and service were also good. We will be back 👍🏼

Very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it. We had the schnitzel, the sweet potato fries, and the herring. All delicious. And there were treats for the dog, too.

The breakfast was very good. We then went to the lunch buffet, and unfortunately, it wasn't good at all. Some of the food was inedible, dry, and tasteless. Unfortunately, the second attempt didn't improve either.

We didn't go to the restaurant. We went on a balloon ride. But the airfield is nice, and you can sit outside and watch the scenery.

We had breakfast at the restaurant today with 23 people. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we invited guests. It was delicious. The staff was very attentive and fulfilled our every wish. We would love to come back...thank you very much.

We had a wonderful family celebration at the airfield today! Delicious food, very good service, beautifully prepared tables and everyone was friendly and flexible! Time management perfectly adapted to our plans - completely successful! What's particularly nice when the weather is as great as today is the combination of indoors and outdoors (elevated terrace) with a view of the airfield - there's always something going on! Many thanks again to the team - we'll be back!

We like to use the airfield as a stop on our excursions. A nice place to stay, with a beautiful view for sunny days. Children are also welcome here and can keep themselves busy. The food is ok. The selection of drinks is very large. The service is attentive. However, the whole concept could be much more modern/professional, there is still room for improvement...

If you're lucky enough to get food there, it's really very good. However, they seem to open as they please, and then when it's a busy day—meaning nice weather and lots of cyclists—they're quite surprised and immediately turn you away, saying, oh, there are still 150 meals to prepare, and the poor chef only has two burners. Unless you just wanted cake, that would probably be quicker. ...unbelievable, especially the people who mostly work there in service. We've been there four times in total, and each time it's been a very mixed bag. The last time was extremely disappointing; I wouldn't recommend it. And there's no excuse: you can't find any staff, or better yet, fewer, and trained and friendly ones.

We can definitely recommend this restoration. We finally managed to visit this interesting location. We had actually planned to have coffee, but that turned into something hearty. Namely schnitzel, liver cheese in a roll and more. With cool drinks, of course. With the top service, quick, courteous and approachable at any time, our stay here was very pleasant. Which means we will definitely be returning.

The four of us were there today for coffee and cake. The service staff were quick and attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy due to the nice weather. We really enjoyed the strawberry cake. After a walk along the Großer Weserbogen, we went back to the “Airfield” for dinner. The dinner we ordered was also very good. The fried potatoes with fried eggs tasted just as good as the currywurst or the fried fish roll. All of this at a top price-performance ratio. We will now use the special offers from the menu more often. According to the waiter's tip, we will pre-order a table. We'll definitely be back!!

Very comfortably furnished cafe/restaurant. We were there in the afternoon for coffee and cake, the cake was homemade and very tasty. There is also a great breakfast there. Highly recommended for vegetarians or vegans. Very attentive service.

I don't want to go too far because I don't have the words to say to the owner (Mrs. Bertolli). Disrespectful and below the belt. Didn't get to dinner, so no judgment. We weren't the only ones who were treated extremely badly that day... the airport is great and the restaurant itself had potential. Poor waiters - they were nice.

Rarely have I experienced something as unfriendly as there. I think either the boss is overwhelmed or she has simply missed her job. This impression of unfriendliness was confirmed to us by another group outside. But why should you be upset about it? We went to another restaurant where you treat people with respect. Just as a little tip to the boss or cook, whatever it is when cooking, you should remove the many rings - it's not exactly hygienic

I am extremely disappointed with the staff. The boss expelled us from the restaurant. We were told that you had to disinfect 3 tables because we allegedly touched them. We wanted to eat there with 4 adults and 1 child. Maybe it was because we had a child with us. Or was it because I walk with a walker. I don't know it. At the age of 60, I have never been treated like this. I was even told not to come back. I can't give a star for the food and ambience because I didn't get anything to eat. Unfortunately I have to give one star, otherwise I can't write a review.

I'm really sad, I reserved Saturday last week for Friday this week! I probably spoke to the boss himself on the phone, it was supposed to be a surprise for my husband, whose birthday is today! Well, we arrived, there was no reservation, we were then seated between 4 refrigerators in a small, damn cold place, even after consultation there was no solution, it's really a shame, we were so happy.

Maximal 1 Punkt. Das Radler hat geschmeckt, kann man auch nichts mit falsch machen. Habe mir nen Burger kommen lassen. Ganz ehrlich? Der letzte rotz Burger ! Jeder 2 Euro Burger von Mäcces, BK etc. ist mindestens doppelt so gut. Absolute TK Ware, nach dem Käse musste man vergeblich suchen. Das Brötchen war zwar ziemlich hart aber zum schei…en würds denk ich reichen… Ich hab einmal abgebissen und es direkt zurück gehen lassen. Für 15 /16 Euro erwarte ich was anderes. Meines erachtens nach komplette Verarsche am Kunden. Das kann man auch nicht mehr schön reden. Frage mich ob der Chef auch selbst isst was er anbietet…

Had breakfast in the airfield restaurant for the first time today. Very lovingly set table. The selection and quantity was great. There was something for every taste. The 2 ladies in service are very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere. There's a lot to look at. The outdoor area is inviting. Beach bar flair... A great location. We'll definitely come back. The airfield is a really nice place to relax, the atmosphere is more like a beach club. The staff and the boss are very friendly and attentive. The food is really tasty and absolutely reasonable in price, there are constantly changing daily specials. There are also over 100 different types of beer. I really enjoy being here, it's a retreat where you can feel good.👍

We were there on August 10th. with 9 people for breakfast on a cake stand in the airfield, even the lovingly set table makes breakfast fun - the eye eats too - large selection, nice, attentive service, there was always something to give - we felt completely at home - thank you very much!

Trotz Reservierung für 4 Personen, konnten wir nicht unfreundliche vom Chef begrüßt werden. Es gab einen Tisch direkt im Durchgang vor der Getränkeschränken im zugigem Durchgang. Auf die Frage nach einem Sitzplatz mit Sonnenschirm, wurde vom Chef geantwortet, es wäre Sommer und es gäbe keinen Platz mit Sonnenschirm. Auf die Frage was möglich sei wurde uns gesagt man könnte ja auch woanders hingehen, was wir auch taten. Nie wieder Airfield.
