Even though I haven't been here for a long time, about 10 years, nothing has changed, so this is still the best and fastest chip shop on the lake! No matter what you ordered, you pay and before you've pocketed your change, boom - food is ready. I now come here regularly again with my new moped and get bratwurst and fries from you. Always have a nice chat and eat delicious food. You are the best!

This motorcycle meeting place is the ultimate hotspot for bikers in the Ruhr area. There's always something going on here - no matter what the weather. The location on Lake Baldeney is perfect, and the journey through the winding roads really puts you in a good mood. A local highlight is definitely the currywurst, which is simply a must. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are friendly and there is always a great atmosphere. Anyone who has been here once is guaranteed to come back. An absolute must for every biker! Mega!

Haus Scheppen is a biker meeting place. 2 good snack stations. Possibility to go for a walk. Hespertalbahn station nearby. Parking spaces available, but rare at peak times.

Very nice kiosk with a wonderful view of Lake Baldeney!! Plenty of seating in the shade and in the sun. The meatballs with fries 🍟 and hunter's sauce are highly recommended!!!

Best snack around Lake Baldeney. Coffee and cake delicious and filling. Currywurst fries were great. The soups and stews are also highly recommended. Very cheap and good quality. Although it was very busy on Sunday, the order was taken quickly and the food was prepared quickly. Fries OK. Currywurst: Good quality sausage, I don't like the sauce.

I have been a customer there as a biker for decades and still knew Ede as the owner. What I experienced today shocked me. 3 euros for an apple juice spritzer and 4.50 for a bockwurst in a roll with cheap mustard. What are these prices? The bockwurst had probably been floating in the water for hours, because that's how it tasted. Will I have to take out a loan soon? Shame on you for this rip off.

Best place in the area, nowhere else is service served as quickly as here. The food is always very, very tasty. Top. But try the cake! It's really recommended... I've been coming here for years and just enjoy the entire location and the view of Lake Baldeney.

It used to be more pleasant to go there and enjoy some fries and a drink. Prices like in a pedestrian zone in a big city, 5€ for a large fries that are so thin that you can count them just by looking at them, with sauce 70ct extra, 6.40 € with 2 sauces. If I go there again, I'll show up with a full stomach and a glass of my own drink. Totally overpriced. And when you order something, you have to constantly repeat yourself because the counter aunts are chattering all over the place and can't concentrate on one customer at all. Oh well. As I said, there were better times. I hope there are enough people who think differently like me who can keep this place alive with the prices.

A biker meeting lives from good coffee, good cake and quick small dishes. There is everything here and the staff is also fine.

One of the cheapest in town, as far as you can call it cheap. Currywurst for €4.70. On weekends and public holidays when the weather is nice, there are always a lot of people and it can take a while to get a currywurst because they can hardly keep up with frying the sausages. Fries are a little quicker. Drinks are also available here. There are some seats outside and some are covered (parasol). And right next door is a pier for the White Fleet from Lake Baldeney, where you can take a tour.

On sunny days it's really unreasonable to go out for something to eat with all the motorbikes. We were there yesterday on Father's Day and I almost had a moderate catastrophe. So many unfriendly and aloof people in one place. However, I can say that the food was great. I don't know what's in the mayonnaise but it's great. 👍🏻

If you're not afraid of fire chairs, you'll be treated to an amazing homemade cake and the coffee latte was also excellent. The sound is nice and rough and not wishy-washy, so it's nice and direct. We'd love to come back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is good and the prices are moderate. I go there often and won't change it.

As always a welcome visit, coffee good, fries crispy and delicious, the currywurst tasted good, what more could you want. We have been coming there for years by plane or car, depending on the season and weather conditions.

Cozy atmosphere but totally overpriced food, frozen schnitzel. Mettbrötchen tastes sour (I think it's a bit older). Cake has now been halved and totally overpriced. Staff Snotty cheeky dogs are held over the counter to be petted. The boss himself likes to walk around the place and likes to discipline customers, there are very tasty cakes and friendly staff 😄

You have to try the Kraków ones here. Oh no, you better order and enjoy.

The food was good, unfortunately the coleslaw that was offered, ordered and paid for was not included. But I didn't notice that until later because I took the food with me. I then complained later. Answer: "That's called food combining." Until then ok. But the sentence: "The meal costs €12.50, with or without salad, so the salad has no value." left a strange aftertaste in my mouth. If someone doesn't value what they're selling, that's unfortunate.

Gladly again and again. With a 68 km journey by bike, it is always the breakfast destination. Everything is delicious, it's friendly and we'll always be happy to come back.

As a motorcyclist, it has been an important stop for culinary refueling for years. Price-performance is okay and it tastes good too. We would be happy to come back and continue to come here. By the way, Currywurst/French fries are a real tip (very tasty 😋).

Suitable for a day trip by motorbike or bicycle in NRW. Right on Lake Baldeney with lots of like-minded people for a little small talk. Food and drinks sufficient for a snack. Not suitable for car drivers as the parking spaces are designed more for two-wheeler drivers. Nevertheless, the goal is the journey!!!

*The* “Haus Scheppen Location” I've been coming there on my bike tours and walks for decades. So it's almost cult. PS: How they manage to take in dozens of orders per minute and always get everything out without errors within a very short time is almost "a kind of magic" for me.

For me it is the most beautiful motorcycle meeting point in the Ruhr area; I have been “at home” here for over 40 years!

Netter Bikertreff, lecker schnell Imbiss, direkt am Baldeneysee, Bootsfahrten möglich. NACHTEIL: Die WC-Anlagen überaltet und nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Beliebter Motorradtreff direkt am Baldeneysee. Wir waren unter der Woche dort bei gutem Wetter und der Parkplatz direkt an der Trinkhalle war gut voll. Es waren nicht nur Motorräder dort auch viele Autos, ich mag mir gar nicht vorstellen wie es bei guten Wetterbedingungen am Wochenende dort aussieht. 😉😀
