Good value for money, good service, attentive staff

Rustic restaurant with very good price-performance ratio. The food was top, the service was friendly. I can only recommend the Adria Restaurant.

Amazing! Seeing the slightly dated place you would never think that the quality of the food is at a top level and the price is really reasonable. We were treated very well by the owner and staff. We recommend the meat platter for 4 (€75) and all-you-can-eat salad buffet. It's worth a visit

The Adria has a cozy, slightly dated but clean atmosphere with a good price-performance ratio. The quality of the food is excellent, fresh and plentiful. I was able to put together a salad (in the small salad bar) to accompany my dish. Unfortunately, the coleslaw was far too salty for me. The staff was friendly and accommodating from start to finish with very good service. Even if the coleslaw deserved a star deduction for me, I give it a full five stars because I was completely impressed by the rest. I felt totally comfortable and will come back. Please continue...

Highly recommended. Good food, not expensive, very nice and courteous service staff. We had 3 different schnitzel dishes and an asparagus dish as well as 7 af drinks. 20-30€ doesn't quite apply. It was almost exactly €20 per person.

Simply outstanding! The service was unique. We were greeted with a handshake and the children received small gifts. The food was also great! It's close to Movie Park Germany, so if you're still looking for a restaurant, choose this one! Paul, 12 years old

We used to really enjoy going there. But since the last 2-3 times we are dissatisfied. Portions have become very small for the prices. The bread, the hot cheese and the pepperoni were always very tasty, but unfortunately they are no longer available. You are not really listened to and you feel as if you are waiting for you to leave and the table to be free. Order not as requested, people smile away... Service used to be much nicer and more polite. The food itself is of good quality but almost everything should be in harmony.

We had a delicious lunch with 7 people today on the occasion of a birthday. All the dishes were good, all portions were very generous (my parents, who are over 80, had their other half packed for tomorrow). There was even a delicious soup, salad from the buffet, and a small dessert for each guest. Grilled plates, fish, schnitzel - everything was tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere is like before and not modern, but completely ok! It was very well attended. Service attentive, friendly and not intrusive. Gladly again

Here you will get a strange look from the service if you complain about your cold, raw steak (ordered medium). I eat tartar and blue rare steak from my trusted butcher or in good restaurants, but at Restaurant Adria I want my steak to have at least seen some heat. The other dishes were ok, but nothing more. Unfortunately, I keep getting dragged here by my relatives. I wouldn't come here voluntarily and certainly not spend any money.

We have eaten at Adria several times but yesterday was the last time we were there after the poor service. A table was reserved a week in advance and yesterday we came to the restaurant and the boss said there was no table reserved. In a bad mood he gave us a large table even though three tables for 4 were still free and were still free at 9 p.m. I was still eating when my brother took the plate away without saying whether it was tasty, etc. When paying, exactly the same thing, we don't need that kind of service, it's rude.

My experience at Steakhaus Adria in Gelsenkirchen was extremely disappointing and leaves me with mixed feelings. The main problem was undoubtedly the quality of the meat served, which had an unpleasant rancid taste. Not only was this a culinary disappointment, but it was also unacceptable for a restaurant that specializes in steaks. Another serious flaw was the stingy host, which significantly affected the atmosphere. His stingy nature left little room for hospitality, and that was evident throughout the interaction. A more generous attitude would undoubtedly have contributed to a more pleasant stay. In addition to these issues, the glasses were dirty, calling into question the steakhouse's hygiene standards. This left an unsavory impression and increased my dissatisfaction with the overall experience. Overall, my visit to Steakhouse Adria was of poor quality, both in terms of food and service. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback to bring about necessary improvements in the meat quality, hospitality and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Sowas von unfreundlich! Und dann noch einer Beerdigung... nach einem Tee 3x gefagt. Dann 3infach was gesüsstes bekommen. Serviette und Besteck vom Tisch gerissen. Noch nie so eine schlechte Behandlung bekommen. Schade das ich 1 Punkt geben muss...

Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. These prices have remained the same since the past. Also a very nice restaurant for the area. You can put your own salad together at a small salad bar, I've also seen that, great!

Delicious food, unfortunately not enough staff because it was busy and the waiting time for the drinks was a little longer!

Since it was Christmas Day, it was of course full. I don't want to rate the service here today because the lady in service was probably completely overwhelmed and simply didn't have the necessary attention and orientation that evening🤷🏽‍♀️

Umgebung: Erschreckend, wie asozial Gelsenkirchen Horst geworden ist. Man hat Angst, das Auto allein stehen zu lassen. Das Restaurant selbst versprüht den Charme der späten Achtziger oder frühen Neunziger Jahre. Der Inhaber bedient selbst, und alles läuft zügig und angenehm. Wir waren zu sechst, und alle Gerichte waren durchweg sehr positiv. Allen voran das Chateaubriand, welches auf der Zunge zerging und perfekt auf den Punkt zubereitet war. Keine übertriebenen Gewürze, einfach Pfeffer und Salz und ausgezeichnete Röstaromen. Ein Traum! Muckalica sowie Raznicji ebenfalls sehr saftig und auf den Punkt. Tolle Beilagen, gutes Gemüse und exzellente Pommes frites! Das wird auf jeden Fall öfter besucht!

Wir sind schon Jahrelang Gäste und gehen immer wieder gern in die Adria! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Wirklich sehr gutes Essen zu einem fairen Preis.

Eigentlich waren wir immer zufriedene Gäste bzw sind es eigentlich immer noch. Aber warum verändert man einen Grillteller der jahrelang immer derselbe war ? Man kann doch ein Hüftsteak ( angeblich Beschwerden durch andere Gäste dss es nicht gut ist ) nicht gegen ein schnitzel austauschen. Leute, ein schnitzel gehört doch nicht auf einem Grillteller. Wir verstehen nicht warum man an die Qualität seines Hüftsteak zweifelt und es vom Teller nimmt und durch ein schnitzel ersetzt. Immerhin wurde der Grillteller ebenfalls von 14.50 € auf 17.50 € preislich angehoben und der Gast bekommt Qualitativ noch was schlechteres auf den Teller.

Ich gehe dort seid Jahren Essen . Das Essen dort ist in all der Jahren immer erste Wahl. Der Cheffe immer freundlich auf im Stress .

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienung! Waren Sonntags hier und es gab wie jeden Sonntag eine Suppe und ein Dessert aufs Haus! Rustikales Ambiente und sehr viele schöne klassische Gemälde

Nach einem Spaziergang auf der Schurenbachhalde hatten wir Hunger. Spontan fiel uns dieses Restaurant in der Nähe auf. Obwohl es Samstagabend war, gab es noch einen freien Tisch für vier Personen. Die Coronaregeln wurden eingehalten. Es gab eine Vorspeise und einen Schnaps nach dem Essen aufs Haus. Die Portionen waren üppig. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir wurden alle satt und waren sehr zufrieden.

Ein einfaches Restaurant aber sehr sauber und freundliches Personal. Das Fleisch des Rumpsteaks hätte aber deutlich zarter den müssen.

Wir sind am Samstag nach dem Revierderby ohne Reservierung hingegangen, da keine der im Web angegebenen Rufnummern gültig war. Wir hatten Glück und haben noch einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zügig. Die Mitarbeiter sind humorvoll, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, einfach klasse. Die Karte ist vielfältig, jeder kann etwas finden. Es gab eine sehr leckere Vorspeise vom Haus. Es gibt ein Salatbuffet, unter anderem mit einem phantastischen Krautsalat. Alles ist von sehr guter Qualität und sehr frisch, das Fleisch ist ebenfalls super. Ein Sondewunsch (Beilagenänderung, Bratkartoffeln statt Pommes) wurde ohne Aufpreis erfüllt, die Änderung hat sich gelohnt, leckere Bratkartoffeln. Beim nächsten Mal in Gelsenkirchen kommen wir wieder, dann mit Reservierung.

Wir sind ab und an mit meiner Großmutter dort und haben alle nichts zu meckern. Das Essen ist immer frisch, lecker und mehr als ausreichend von der Menge her, der Service ist freundlich und der Preis angemessen. Weiter so, kanns nur empfehlen.
