We wanted to spend the beautiful Saturday evening enjoying culinary delights in a cozy beer garden in Hanau. But we didn't know where to go. In short - entered the parameter “Biergarten and Hanau” and googled it – “Adelheid von Hanau” came out. We quickly decided and made a reservation online without any problem. Since the Hanau “Citizens Festival” took place on the same day, we were very happy that there was a relatively inexpensive parking garage in the neighborhood of the location! The beer garden is right next to the congress center. The menu is focused on Bavarian dishes, but of course there is also “Abbelwoi Frau Rauscher” and Frankfurt “Grie Soß”. The menu is short and to the point, which has the advantage of being able to decide relatively quickly. Highly recommended is the “sausage salad”, which is really “bomb”! We (4 people) ordered almost everything and unanimously came to the conclusion that the food was a solid 10 out of 10. The salad was fresh and crunchy and the different types of bread still had the impression of freshness even at this time. The main courses were hot and were very tasty. The service was exceptionally great - which I would like to emphasize again here! The price/performance ratio is 100%. Conclusion: If you're still looking for a culinary highlight in Hanau and like a great beer garden atmosphere, you've come to the right place. We will definitely come back and indulge in culinary delights there again.

We were curious for a long time because we never got a spot spontaneously. Now reserved - it worked. Good service... great food... but you still have to consider whether you want to spend €100 - €150 for 2 people and a good steak. But the ambience is right

A beautifully located "beer garden" in the castle garden of Hanau. It should be noted that this does not mean Philippsruhe Castle. Specially the city palace of Hanau, which no longer exists (now Congress Park Hanau / CPH). The service and the demeanor of the assistants are in great need of improvement. It's probably because the actual innkeeper or his representative is not a restaurateur at all and lives out his "I'm the boss - you're NOTHING!" mentality every day. If you want relaxed and pleasant service, you've definitely come to the wrong place here. On the other hand, if you just want to drink a cold beer or a good cup of coffee and don't care about being served in a condescending and reserved manner, you can stay here. The only plus point is that you can log into the WiFi for free and have a fairly good internet connection.

The atmosphere is great! Service can still be improved, but you can live with that :-) Unfortunately the food is more like convenience food. You can't get the Handkäs without music because it's probably bought pickled? I ordered a salad without onions, received one with potato salad with onions… The “colorful” salads all look more like they come from wholesalers. Too bad...

As a vegan, I am a fan of the fact that there were several options for me to eat here (unfortunately this is still not possible everywhere). The tarte flambée I ordered was really very good. Kudos to the kitchen! Unfortunately, the service was rather a flop. After we took our seats and had our beer, we waited to order our food. Unfortunately none of the four waitresses came by. Only 30 minutes later, by waving several times, were we able to attract attention and order. But the food came quickly again! The beer garden itself is just very lucky with the location, beautiful in the countryside and in a quieter area of ​​Hanau!

Zuerst mal, der Service war gut. Die ganz große Enttäuschung war dann aber, dass auf der Homepage eine komplett andere Speisekarte eingestellt ist wie die, die im Biergarten auslag. Dort war nur eine sehr reduzierte Karte in der Auswahl. Wir waren zu 8 dort und niemand konnte das Gericht essen, auf das wir uns schon, anhand der Karte im Internet, gefreut hatten. Auch die Bilder auf der Homepage zeigten z. B. eine Brizza, die es dann auch nicht gab . Die Gerichte, die wir dann bestellt haben waren OK aber mehr leider auch nicht. Es ist sehr schade, weil das Ambiente wirklich schön ist, wir werden trotzdem nicht mehr hingehen.

Unfortunately it wasn't a culinary experience. Plus very high prices. Tarte flambée for €11.50 with charred bacon. The planter was also loveless. The staff was a bit annoying. I wasn't allowed to interrupt her either. "If you would just let me finish" We won't be coming back any time soon. It's a shame given the atmosphere.

Very cozy beer garden, with good and cheap parking. The menu is manageable and filled with very tasty dishes. Seating is also wonderful and sanitary facilities are available. If it is too crowded, you will be informed in advance at reception. The only tip from me... Install wasp traps on the premises in midsummer, as wasps can really be the only reason for a negative impact on a visit to the beer garden.

War wieder mal schön und musstet auch die Preise erhöhen okay, damit kann man leben Handkäse war etwas wenig für 8 €. Ansonsten haben wir uns wieder sehr wohl und gut bedient gefühlt, Herzlichkeit als ob man nach Hause kommt. Für ein oder zwei feierabendbier ein tolles Event, gerne wieder.

Der Service war leider nicht gut. Wir haben ewig vor unseren leeren Tellern gesessen und mussten den Service bitten die Teller abzuräumen. Das Lokal war nicht ausgelastet, so dass es daran gehangen haben kann. Die Preise sind für die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke zu hoch.

We were here for dinner with friends and were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. We had our dog with us and water was brought for him in a short time. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

International pottery market and we wanted to have a coffee. After more than 30 minutes we asked a young, annoyed waitress if we could order a coffee. We got the following answer: You see what's going on here. There are at least 100 people here. We've only been open for three quarters of an hour. They are just outrageous!! Oops. That sat. What's so weird about wanting to order a coffee?

Unfortunately, the schnitzel for 19.50 euros wasn't worth the money because it was of inferior quality. The plate was carelessly prepared, light potatoes that were swimming in oil. We won't be coming back.

A nice place to eat/drink outside. The burgers are recommended. Price/performance is right here. The staff also very nice. Right next door there is a small playground for small kids. Are often here when the weather is nice.

I was in the “Adelheid von Hanau” beer garden today and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The beer (Allgäuer Büble) was cold and as soon as my glass was empty, the waiter stood next to me and asked if I would like to order something else. The food (Adelheid's Burger) is also highly recommended. The patty was on point, still slightly pink and the fries were made from potatoes with skin on, very tasty. I was given good advice when it came to schnapps, so all in all, great 👍

Unprofessional and cheeky! Today I ordered a schnitzel with green sauce (see menu photos) described as “parsley potatoes, cranberries, lemon, small side salad” €19.50 / green sauce €23.50. Unfortunately, it was served without cranberries (which I was particularly looking forward to) and without lemon (which always goes with a schnitzel). When I asked the waitress about it, she said “because I had ordered green sauce, there would of course be no cranberries or lemon” and “that was clearly described on the menu”. Turns around and wants to walk away. I say “stop stop” that doesn’t work and I read out what is actually on the menu and note that my professional relationship is with gastronomy and I find such treatment impossible. The waitress then says “then you have experience with unfriendly guests” - and leaves!!! A waiter brought a lemon quarter, but there were no cranberries... When I paid (€34.50), of course I didn't tip and initially only got €64.50 (!) for €100. I then immediately clarified the “mistake” and got the missing € back. A rogue who thinks evil... What a shame! The location is nice and the food itself was good, but such unprofessional service is a sales killer and scares away guests. In any case, I will avoid the place for now!

Table is confirmed online even though the restaurant or beer garden is not open at all. Modern times are bad when an open table reservation system does not work or is adapted to the actual circumstances. It's just a good thing that we didn't have to travel far and there were plenty of other restaurants in the area to choose from. I'm not going there anymore for now.

The service was very nice and quick too. Unfortunately it's just too expensive there now. Had two beers (0.5) for €11. We previously went to another beer garden and paid €8.60 for two beers (0.5). I also think the food is too expensive.

Wir hatten für 19 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert, der uns auch sofort zugewiesen wurde. Der Service war auch nicht zu bemängeln. Was überhaupt nicht akzeptabel war, war der Umstand, dass wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten mussten (Burger, Currywurst, Backhähnchen und Schnitzel) obwohl nicht viel los war im Biergarten. Die Salate waren geschmacklos, u. a. auch, weil das Dressing ganz unten in der Schüssel war. Wir werden leider nicht wiederkommen, schade.

We were a group of 10 girls. We simply weren't served anymore after we had our food. It took a long time for our food to arrive and it was relatively cold. Apart from 3 bottles of water, no drinks were brought to us at the beginning, despite repeated requests. We would like to order something (for the umpteenth time) you could really earn money here, the wallet was shown high, we already have!!. Well, we then mutually ordered the bill, and it was then decided that it was better that way. One more note at the end: the beer garden was not fully attended and all other guests were served there, except for us. We weren't rude, loud, or rowdy. It really makes you wonder why?? A very nice beer garden with good food (when it's warm), but unfortunately the staff was a total failure.

Very poor service, the waitress apparently doesn't think it's necessary to earn money, despite several attempts to order drinks, we weren't served. We had to wait a very long time for our food, even though the beer garden wasn't even half full. The food came to the table only lukewarm. Definitely won't come there again.

The food itself is good, but when the boss (I assume) portrayed me as more or less poor because I'm a foreigner and wanted to educate myself about Germany's rules because I didn't order enough for 2 people (french fries and... Beer, I wanted to order something that was on the menu but apparently they didn't have it yet) and also told me that I would "take away" his table for free (other 14 tables were empty and there weren't many visitors at the time) was mine Appetite already gone. It's a shame that you get something like that without having done anything wrong.

Nicht unbedingt hochwertiges Essen. Service war ok. Nichts besonderes aber durch die Location eben ganz nett wenn man draußen sitzt. Also wenn man keine besonderen Ansprüche hat, könnte man hier zufrieden sein. Ich würde nicht nochmal hin obwohl die Vegane Auswahl relativ groß ist.

Waren sehr enttäuscht, da die Speisekarte nicht den Angaben im Internet entsprach und sehr abgespeckt ist, zu wenig Auswahl. Dass z.B. bei einem Wurstsalat nicht mal eine Scheibe Brot dazugehört, äußerst fragwürdig. Man fühlt sich schon sehr abgezockt, es wird zwar alles teurer, aber man muss es nicht übertreiben. Die Servicekräfte sind wunderbar, zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich, das wäre hervorzuheben.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Der Service war zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Die Getränke waren gut und auch das vegetarische und vegane Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!

Kaltes Bier, sehr leckeres Essen und immer gute Bedienung und freundliche Leute! Sehr empfehlenswert, besonders die Flammkuchen Elsässer Art und Wiener Schnitzel. Es lohnt sich hier zu essen.

Very nice atmosphere, large beer garden and a playground next door. We were there spontaneously on a Sunday and were served very nicely; all the employees were in a good mood and courteous. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer for the food. We had children with us and they were hungry...lol! The nice employee later apologized for it and we really liked that. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great. We'd love to come back.

The Adelheid beer garden in Hanau is a place that we visit regularly and we are always impressed by the friendly atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food. Although the prices are slightly higher, they are okay for the quality offered. The food in the Adelheid beer garden is always freshly prepared and tastes excellent. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from traditional German cuisine to international specialties. The regional specialties such as bratwurst or schnitzel are particularly recommended. In addition to the food, the beer is of course also a highlight in the Adelheid beer garden. There is a nice selection of beers on offer, all of which taste very good. No matter whether you prefer a light light or a strong dark one, you will definitely find the right beer here. Das Essen ist in Ordnung nur preislich schon etwas teurer. Der Service war klasse.

Nete Location, fixe Bedienung. Preise fürs Essen im gehobenen Bereich und für meinen Geschmack zu hoch in Relation zur Leistung.

Die Location finde ich wunderschön und man sitzt ruhig. Deswegen komme ich gern her. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich. Man kann hier gut eine Auszeit nehmen und was trinken. Einzig das Essen fanden wir diesmal eher solala. Das war früher leider besser (als es noch Holle's war?!) Gerade der Handkäs war recht geschmacklos in viel zu viel Öl ertränkt. Da ist Luft nach oben, vor allem bei den Preisen.

Sehr schöne Location, Essen ebenfalls gut. Der Service ist freundlich, aber völlig überfordert und komplett unorganisiert. Das ist der einzige ‚Wermutstropfen‘ .

Essen ist ok hatte schon Schnitzel mit Spargel Handkäs und andere Leckereien alles gut zubereitet und war auch schnell serviert. Service es hat ewig gedauert bis jemand uns angenommen hat und das bezahlen war noch schlimmer. Es war kurz vor Feierabend und die Dame die uns abziehen sollte hat gerade an einem anderen Tisch gegessen und hat au h nicht die muse aufzustehen und uns abzu ziehen.

Bin positiv überrascht. Essen sehr lecker, vor allem die Brizza. Gute Idee, gut umgesetzt. Getränke haben etwas gedauert, liegt aber daran, dass zu wenig Kellner unterwegs waren. *Nachtrag vorher 5 Sterne, jetzt 2: leider wurde die komplette Karte neu bearbeitet, da anscheinend ein neuer Koch da ist. Die Brizza gibt's leider nicht mehr und auch andere typische Biergartenspeisen wie Haxe sind nicht mehr zu haben. Hatte ein halbes Hähnchen mit nur Pommes, Salat kostet extra. Das Hähnchen ist war sehr klein, Pommes waren wenig. Hähnchen war wenig gewürzt und absolut nicht knusprig. Fleisch war aber zumindest saftig. Aber für 15,50€ echt heftig. Auch die Burger würden nicht wirklich gelobt.

Immer ein Ziel mit dem Fahrrad. Essen und Mitarbeiter immer gut und nett.

Die Reservierung hat bestens geklappt, der Tisch war schön, das Essen ging super schnell Bedienung war auf Zack und man konnte sich einfach wohlfühlen bei euch. Die Musik war auch sehr angenehm, hat einfach alles gut gepasst und gerne wieder... Tolles Team werde euch gerne weiterempfehlen...

Es war eigentlich nicht so voll, aber trotzdem ging es mit dem Service. Haben zunächst falsches Essen bekommen und mussten dann noch einmal etwas auf das Essen warten.

Eigentlich ein toller Biergarten, aber gestern Abend klappte trotz Reservierung überhaupt nichts. Viel zu wenig Personal, wir saßen 30 Minuten unbeachtet am Tisch und wurden noch nicht mal mit Getränken versorgt. Wir haben uns dann eine Alternative gesucht. Sehr enttäuschend.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, da wir es eilig hatten. Mehrfach kamen sie an unseren Tisch um zu bestätigen, dass das Essen in wenigen Minuten kommt

Das Team von Adelheid hat uns einen wunderbaren Ostersamstag Abend bereitet. Ich hatte Grüne Soße mit Eier und Kartoffeln und muss sagen, dass ich lange nicht so eine gute Grüne Soße🌿 auswärts gegessen habe 😍. Die Mädchen waren glücklich mit den Spinatknödeln und das Schnitzel war perfekt dünn und lecker. Abgerundet vom perfekten Service. So kann die Adelheid mit dem frisch bepflanzten Garten in die Saison starten. 👍🏻

Wir haben einen Tisch über OpenTable reserviert. Leider mussten wir feststellen dass das Restaurant geschlossen hatte, obwohl die Reservierung bestätigt wurde. Anscheinend ging es nicht nur mir/uns so sondern auch 2 weiteren Personen vor mir, die ebenfalls schon eine Bewertung abgegeben haben. Sehr schade, somit war die Anreise umsonst! Hätten dort sehr gerne gegessen.

Ein Tisch reserviert und das Lokal hatte zu. Sehr ärgerlich, extra nach Hanau gefahren. OpenTable sollte man ausschalten, wenn das Lokal nicht geöffnet ist.

Sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichteter Wintergarten. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden erstklassig und liebevoll vom Service umsorgt. ;-))) wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir freuen uns, dass wir uns getraut haben die Adelheid in ihrem Winterquartier auf zu suchen, was sich in der CPH Lounge befindet. Der Gastraum ist unheimlich gemütlich, mit geschmackvollen Fellen und sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Die Karte ist auf den ersten Blick erstmal eine Herausforderung, jedoch überzeugen die Speisen mit fantastischem Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wir haben dort Schnitzel gegessen mit Bratkartoffeln und grüner Soße. Wir waren zufrieden, es waren 2 Schnitzel und extra gereichte Soße. Bedienung war freundlich.

Service Super , Ambiente Biergarten, Essen lecker , von der Brezel bis zum Flammkuchen. Bedienung war auch zum anbeißen,ähm ... Freundlich mein ich. Man konnte mit Karte zahlen und Preise ... Naja , sagen wir Mal die Preise sind gestiegen. Aber dafür gibt es auch ordentlich was zum futtern . Punktabzug weil ich keinen Aschenbecher hatte.

"Unscheinbarer" Biergarten der von mir jetzt erst entdeckt wurde. Schönes Ambiente im Grünen und in direkter Citynähe (Altstadt). Später sehr gut besucht, was auch dem tollen Wetter geschuldet ist. Preise sind erschwinglich und an die aktuelle Lage angepasst. Die Toiletten haben mir die Sprache verschlagen. So was sauberes habe ich in einem Biergarten noch nie gesehen. Man kann wörtlich vom Boden essen. Über das Essen kann ich leider kein Urteil abgeben, aber die Teller am Nachbartisch waren fein säuberlich abgegessen. Früher wurde uns Kindern ja gesagt, esst ab und dann scheint morgen die Sonne. Heute haben wir dicke Menschen und die Klimakatastrophe. Gehe aber davon aus, es hat wirklich geschmeckt. Der Chef hat mir gesagt, wenn die Biergartensaison beendet ist, gibt es direkt nebenan im Restaurant die weltbesten Knödel. Das muss getestet werden. Auf jeden Fall ist es in meinen Augen ein Besuch wert.
