Very nice people, delicious pizza on Fridays. Just like you'd imagine an old-fashioned village pub to be. Top-notch.

Very good food, especially the venison goulash in winter.

Much of it wasn't bad, but unfortunately, it wasn't really good either... For a starter, I had onion soup. It was nicely browned and piping hot. If the white bread had been toasted beforehand, it would have been crispy instead of soggy. My steak was just barely medium-rare, but I wanted it rarer. The bread and potatoes were very suitable for seniors and had been reduced in salt. The side salad was nicely colorful and plentiful. The coleslaw was practically tasteless... That was pretty much the general consensus at our table: nothing was truly bad, but it wasn't exactly amazing either. A shame, because there wasn't much missing anywhere. The service was friendly and attentive.
