Waren im Restaurant, keine Hotelgäste.. Alles zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit. Schönes Ambiente. Aufmerksame freundliche Bedienung. Das Fleisch hatte eine sehr gute Qualität. Allenfalls das Rotkraut etwas zu weich. Das einzige was vor Ort etwas verwirrend war, ist die Parkplatzbezahlsituation, die am Ende doch ohne Gebühr ausgefallen ist, was Gästen von Restaurant und Hotel dann doch zu schätzen wissen. Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Einladung zu einem Verdauungsspaziergang in dem tollen Umfeld ist dann noch das Highlight

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in herrlich ruhiger Lage mitten im Wald. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gestaltet und das Personal stets freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich eine Radpumpe für Radfahrer hat gefehlt. Da es sich jedoch nicht um ein Bett & Bike-Hotel handelt, ist das für uns kein Grund für einen Punktabzug. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Hotel. Im Innenhof fand eine Hochzeit statt. Wir bekamen das am weitesten entfernte Zimmer und haben nichts davon mitbekommen. Unsere kleine Terrasse bot einen schönen Blick auf den Wald und den Teich. Ideal für unsere beiden Hunde. Freundlicher Service!

Auf unsere Wünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen und wir haben uns bestens betreut gefühlt. Am Tag der Feier war alles perfekt organisiert – vom freundlichen Service über das wunderschöne Ambiente bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen. Das gesamte Team war aufmerksam, engagiert und hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass dieser besondere Tag für unsere Familie unvergesslich wurde. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team! Wir haben die Konfirmation unseres Sohnes im LaPointe in Imsbach gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Schon die Planung im Vorfeld verlief unkompliziert, freundlich und professionell – man hat sich von Anfang an gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Raum war wunderschön vorbereitet, die Dekoration geschmackvoll und das Essen sehr lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Luca, der uns mit seinem tollen Service begeistert hat: immer freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Er hat sich hervorragend um unsere Gäste gekümmert und jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen gelungenen und besonderen Tag!

Sehr schön gelegen ( direkt an einem Weiher) , mit Sitzplätzen auf der Terrasse. Die Auswahl der Speisekarte ist etwas klein, aber das Essen ist ok. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wir haben nur das Restaurant genutzt und somit kann ich über das Hotel selbst nichts sagen 😀

Sehr schöne Location. Das Essen und der Service waren gut. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil die Portionen für den Preis doch ziemlich klein waren.

Wir haben am 15.5.26 da geheiratet, es war wunder wunderschön. Theresa und Nico haben uns super beraten und begleitet. Alle waren sehr verständnisvoll und es wurde immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Wir wollten ein Rundumsorglospaket, denn wir hatten keine Lust monatelang von Termin und Termin zu laufen und alles selbst planen und genau das haben wir bekommen. Wir hatten auch Gäste aus NRW, Berlin, Saarland und Tirol, somit hatten wir auch für alle Zimmer im dazugehörigen Hotel und ein gemütliches Frühstück mit Freunden und Familie. Herr Rondepierre war auch sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe bestimmt zehn Mails geschickt, damit jeder sein Zimmer hat und dann wieder Liste aktualisiert und nochmal geschickt. Jaaa wir waren nervös vor unserer Hochzeit und haben mehrmals nachgefragt. Also alle hatten mit uns Geduld und wir hatten auch Spaß. Wir haben auch unseren DJ Yannick und Fotografin Dunja hat uns Theresa vermittelt. Die Chemie zwischen den Dienstleistern und uns war einfach HAMMER. Wir haben sehr viel gelacht und hatten einen tollen Tag. Alles in allem ist bei Hofgut Imsbach alles möglich, es gibt mehrere Räumlichkeiten, dass für verschiedene Gruppengrößen und auch diversen Festlichkeiten geeignet ist. Danke nochmal für alles und ich empfehle Hofgut Imsbach jeden weiter. Achja, die Landschaft ist traumhaft schön. Sie lädt zum Verweilen, Spazieren, Fotoshooting und genießen ein.

Das Hofgut Imsbach liegt idyllisch und malerisch im Wald. Eine schöne Gegend. Das Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen!!! Wir hatten einen gemischten Salat bestellt. Außer Maggi und billiger Essig war nichts zu schmecken. Der Salat war welk. Es ist nicht zu verstehen dass eine Gemeinde ein solches Restaurant und Hotel an Menschen verpachtet, oder verkauft hat, das weiß ich nicht, die keine Ahnung von Gastronomie haben. Weder ist das Essen ansprechend noch der Service. Unfassbar ein Schmuckstück so zu deklassieren mit Unvermögen was Gastronomie betrifft. Bei tollem Wetter, Biergarten Wetter war der Biergarten geschlossen. Lediglich die Terrasse war geöffnet. Und der Blick von der Terrasse endet an der rückwand der Ausschankbuden vom Biergarten. Man kann es nicht glauben. Schade.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage und auch das Restaurant ist sehr schön. Das Essen war reichhaltig und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Also ich kann das Restaurant mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen.

Wir waren nicht im Hotel, sondern "nur" in Restaurant. Die Dekoration auf allen Tischen war vertrocknet - das war kein schönes Bild. Das Essen war gut (nicht sehr gut), aber weder regional noch saisonal. Das Bist kam allesamt aus Bayern. Da wird es doch in Saarland...?! Das Personal war bemüht und freundlich, aber mit vielen gastronomischen Abläufen (wann wird serviert, wann abgeräumt, ...) noch nicht so richtig vertraut. Aus der tollen Lage und dem "guten Ruf" könnte man mehr machen.

Sehr schön gelegen in der Natur. Genau das richtige um nach einer langen Fahrt zu entspannen. Gute Küche sehr nettes Personal.

Wir waren zum Familienessen hier und leider begann der Abend bereits chaotisch: Beim Eintreten wurden wir zunächst an den falschen leeren Tisch gebracht, obwohl andere Familienmitglieder bereits vor Ort waren und wir das auch bei der Anmeldung gesagt haben. Es dauerte etwa eine halbe Stunde, bis unsere Getränkebestellung aufgenommen wurde. Dabei fiel negativ auf, dass der Service-Mitarbeiter ein sehr ungepflegtes, schmutziges Shirt trug. Als die Getränke schließlich kamen, war unter anderem ein Lillet Wildberry dabei, dessen Früchte bereits so aufgeweicht waren, dass das Getränk trüb und unappetitlich wirkte. Nach weiteren 30 Minuten wurden endlich unsere Speisen aufgenommen. Die Vorspeisen überraschten uns durch extrem kleine Portionen – geschmacklich zwar gut, aber die Rindersuppe war nicht einmal halb gefüllt und die Antipasti-Platte für zwei Personen passte auf einen kleinen Kuchenteller (für über 20 € absolut unangemessen). Die Hauptgerichte waren in Ordnung, auch die Portionsgrößen waren akzeptabel. Allerdings fehlte es an grundlegender Betreuung: Niemand kam zwischendurch an den Tisch, um nachzufragen. Salz und Pfeffer mussten wir uns selbst organisieren, da die Speisen kaum gewürzt waren – einzig die Sauce war wirklich gut. Auch leere Gläser blieben lange unbeachtet, neue Getränke wurden nicht angeboten. Wir mussten jedes Mal aktiv auf den Service zugehen. Dasselbe Bild beim Dessert: Wir mussten selbst nachfragen, obwohl es letztendlich sehr gut war. Insgesamt verbrachten wir rund drei Stunden vor Ort – vor allem aufgrund des extrem schleppenden Service. Erst ganz am Ende wurden wir gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung gewesen sei. Auf unsere ehrliche Rückmeldung, dass der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig ließ, bekamen wir lediglich zur Antwort, dass dies an einer parallel stattfindenden Hochzeit liege. Eine Entschuldigung oder echtes Entgegenkommen blieb jedoch aus. Fazit: Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung bis gut, der Service jedoch katastrophal – und das bei diesen Preisen absolut enttäuschend

We were looking for something secluded for New Year's Eve because we have a nervous dog. That's how we came across this lovely hotel. Dogs are welcome and even receive an extra bowl and treats in the room upon arrival. There is ample parking nearby. We received a very friendly welcome, and the staff even showed us to our room personally. I've never experienced that in any other hotel. There are several lounges in the hallways where you can relax with comfortable seating. We, along with our dog, were accommodated on the lower level and had a room with a lake view and access to a terrace. The room was very nicely furnished. My only complaint is that the tables used as bedside and side tables were much too small. Unfortunately, my room also didn't have a desk that could be used for additional storage. Not all rooms have one. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable in the room. The service in the restaurant was also very good—not intrusive, but pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was served in an adjacent room and was delicious, with fresh ingredients. The only thing I missed was the limited bread selection, especially the rolls. Otherwise, it was very tasty. The area around the hotel is lovely for walks. My dog ​​was much more relaxed on New Year's Eve than he is at home. Outside the hotel, you can hear the fireworks, of course. Inside the hotel, my dog ​​didn't hear a thing. No matter what we needed, the staff always went out of their way to help. What I would have liked was some kind of program or special menu for New Year's Eve. The restaurant closes at 8 pm. There's no bar, so you're basically left high and dry, as there are no vending machines, meaning you have to bring your own drinks. This definitely needs to be changed.

We were at the Hofgut Imschbach Lapoint restaurant on December 29, 2025, with a group of five. Not for the first time, but certainly for the last! The reception and service were very good. For a starter, I had chestnut soup – bland and tasteless. 1 star. For the main course, I had venison goulash, and I'd rather not even mention the portion size, with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. This was carelessly slopped onto the plate and only lukewarm! -1 star. Disappointed greetings from WND from Jürgen and family.

A wonderfully idyllic location. Absolutely top-notch service with extremely friendly staff. We've now been there twice for dinner in a short period. The reservation service was excellent, and the wait for our food was very short. Everything was beautifully decorated the day before Christmas. You can really tell the staff enjoys their work. The food was truly excellent, and apart from the dessert prices, they were quite reasonable.

A few years ago, I wanted to visit this restaurant under different ownership and was very disappointed. Now the owner has changed, and I'm anything but disappointed. Super nice people, the food was delicious, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. I don't know what it was like before, but I really enjoyed it yesterday. Pleasant and cozy. I can only review the restaurant itself, and it gets 5 stars from me 👍. We'll be back! My only criticism: please add non-alcoholic beer to the menu.

New owners have owned this lovely location since autumn 2025. The menu is classic, concise, and rather small, but includes some good, traditional dishes such as roulades and schnitzel. Unfortunately, it lacks any highlights or surprises that would be new. There was no daily special during our visit. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, delicious, and attractively presented. The portions are ample. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but still reasonable. All in all, a recommendable restaurant with potential for further development.

I ate here again yesterday. Venison goulash with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. It was absolutely delicious. I really like the atmosphere, especially now that some of it is decorated in a lovely dark green. Simply wonderful. The staff are very friendly and nice. I'll definitely be back. Just spent some time at Hofgut Imsbach Lapointe 😍 a beautiful place with a mix of history, nature, and quiet charm. Once gifted by Napoleon Bonaparte to Colonel Lapointe, it’s a stunning estate with a peaceful park, lake views, and a touch of old magic. Starting september is managed privately with the goal to transform it into a hotel. This will definitely improve the rooms quality. Learned they are planning in opening a sauna, gym and modernise the rooms. This place is a perfect escape for anyone who loves timeless places that still feel alive 🌿😍🫶🏻

We celebrated our wedding with around 120 guests at Hofgut Imsbach at the end of September. The venue is stylish, beautiful, and nestled in the middle of a wooded area. From our first visit to our big day, we felt completely at home. The food was delicious, the service fantastic, and the atmosphere unforgettable. We owe this above all to Teresa; she's an absolute planning talent! She was always there to help and advise us, accompanied us throughout the day with her professional, calm, and loving manner, and never pushed herself into the foreground. All our wishes and ideas were taken into account and implemented with great attention to detail. The hotel offers enough sleeping space for all guests; the rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean. A buffet was offered for breakfast in the morning; all the food was replenished promptly and was fresh. A huge thank you to the entire team at Hofgut Imsbach. You gave us an unforgettable day! We would choose the same option again anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend the estate. 🤍

We were there for the open day, so we can't say much about the food or the rooms. The day itself was a great opportunity to get to know the hotel. The staff were super friendly, and if the menu promises to be as good as it is, we'd be happy to come back on a "normal" day. The portions were way too small for the price, and they forgot half of my wife's portion! We had to go out for something to eat afterward to fill ourselves up!! We went to the restaurant for dinner, and unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment. The appetizer was served at the same time as the main course. After the main course was postponed, it arrived cold. The creamed mushroom sauce tasted like it came from a pre-packaged dish and lacked any character. The dish, labeled "Original Wiener Schnitzel of Veal," was overcooked, without any soufflé – it had nothing to do with a real Wiener Schnitzel. Overall, a poor experience with no recognition value. If you're looking for something culturally and culinary, this is definitely the wrong place. Absolutely not recommended.

We discussed all our ideas and wishes with Theresa (the wedding planner there) in advance, and everything was possible. On the day itself, EVERYTHING went smoothly and was exactly what we had imagined. There was nothing to complain about. Truly fantastic! The girls who assisted us on the day provided perfect service and were super friendly, open, and helpful! 💛 The food and drinks were also delicious! 💛 We would choose Hofgut Imsbach again anytime! We stopped here to refuel after a hike. The ambiance and service were very good. The dishes we ordered (beef roulades and venison goulash) were very tasty. There was one minor issue with the presentation: the mashed potatoes were completely hidden by the red cabbage. Otherwise, the crème brûlée and the Kaiserschmarrn were very tasty. We also enjoyed the espresso, which was exactly what it should be. The price/performance ratio is good. We'll be back when we get the chance.

Very nice hotel, comfortable room with balcony. You can't leave the window open at night, so your neighbor can easily walk into your room - the room was clean. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn't impress me. The pancakes were a bit dry and didn't seem fresh, and the bacon was quite greasy and not crispy. The egg dishes were also not very tasty - the scrambled eggs were overcooked and the fried egg was almost cold. The salmon wasn't particularly good in terms of quality, and the overall presentation was rather lackluster. For the price, I would have expected fresher preparation and a bit more care.

We celebrated our wedding at Hofgut Imsbach. Event manager Teresa was at our side from the very beginning and was always available to answer any questions. You can tell she's passionate about her work and is very concerned about ensuring your big day turns out exactly as you imagine it. The Hofgut offers various spaces for celebrations and overnight accommodations for guests. The buffet and drinks were also excellent. We were very satisfied and would recommend it anytime.

In terms of gastronomy/restaurants, this was a truly terrible experience, as it was catastrophically bad: agreements were not kept; as a large group, we were literally "fobbed off," and if we raised any complaints, we were disrespectfully and almost rudely "brushed off." I have never experienced such abysmal hospitality.

A fantastic hotel in a wonderful setting, very quiet and a place to really relax. The service, whether at reception or at the breakfast buffet, is provided by fantastic, young and dedicated staff. They are always willing to help and really look after the hotel guests. I would like to thank the team very much. I only stayed there for one night, but the service completely convinced me. The hotel is very clean. Sometimes you see slightly worn walls or, for example, uncleaned ventilation in the breakfast room. You can see a lot of dust there. Of course there are minor issues, but they can be easily fixed.

The service was excellent; every request was fulfilled. The rooms were very clean and nice. I was there for three weeks for work and it felt like a vacation. The entire team was simply perfect.

The two of us were there just for dinner. The veal steak was very tender and juicy, but it didn't come with a salad, which we would have appreciated at €35.90. The gnocchi, also without salad, tasted like frozen goods for €18.90, dry and tough. The Grana Padano was missing. There's still plenty of room for improvement in terms of quality. In our opinion, the drinks were also overpriced. The service was attentive and very friendly.

So why only 4 and not 5? The food is great, the service top-notch but your outdoor area leaves a lot to be desired. Everything is overgrown. The beautiful fountain in front of the farm is in bad condition and is really a calling card. Even if there is a shortage of water, just clean out the algae and scrub off the accumulated stones and then it will look better straight away. That too is part of owning a property.

Overpriced food: small portion of schnitzel, fries, and a small salad for €17.80. The staff weren't that prompt. The dining room was very loud, making it almost impossible to have a conversation. The outdoor lighting also left a lot to be desired. I won't be returning or recommending it to anyone.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant evening. We arrived at the restaurant full of anticipation for a pleasant and cozy evening. The greeting from the waiter was very cold and awkward. After we were seated, things happened very quickly. The menu arrived within 30 seconds. No candle on the table, no warm welcome... After ordering, the greeting from the kitchen arrived at the same time as our drinks, followed a minute later by the overpriced antipasti platter for two people. All of the ingredients were purchased, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but unfortunately, this one was something special, both in terms of quality and quantity. Furthermore, the described "Italian salami" was missing from the platter, which was carelessly smothered in balsamic cream. The main courses had sounded good and, at €21-€35, were still within the current range of restaurant prices. Unfortunately, we were also disappointed in terms of quality. I searched in vain for the pickled pears in the lukewarm Cordon Bleu (which had been in the counter for 5 minutes and was right in my field of vision). The cheese was also only minimal to justify calling it a Cordon Bleu. The fries were heavy on the salt. Unfortunately, we didn't feel at all comfortable, as the waitresses had no interest in quietly clearing nearby tables. Cutlery was thrown into tin containers, and since we had a good view into the kitchen, we saw how the waitresses became increasingly less cheerful with each guest who entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, in recent years, it's become increasingly apparent that good service that makes an effort, is attentive, and knows what they're doing is becoming increasingly difficult. From a distance, the kitchen still looked very clean and well-organized. Perhaps they should just rethink the size and price of the portions and hire a waitress whose fingernails aren't unnaturally long and covered in black dirt. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. The final bill was €90.00 for two drinks, two schnitzel dishes, and a starter...

We were here for a conference and stayed for two nights. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic. On the second day, we were allowed to grill our own food under a roof. We were served only the highest quality grilled food and delicious salads. My colleagues, who had traveled from all over southern Germany, were absolutely delighted and are considering spending two or three days here on their own. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Schöne Umgebung.....liegt ideal. Doch die neuen Pächter sind Laien. Wir waren zuerst spazieren und haben dann persönlich einen Tisch reserviert. 2 Std später erkannten sie uns schon nicht mehr. Die Tischdecke war schmutzig und die Kerze nach 10 Min abgebrannt. Wir bestellten einen Aperitif und das Essen.Wir suchten uns auch einen Wein aus zum essen und baten das Essen und den Wein erst nach dem Aperitif zu servieren. Irgendwann kam die Bedienung mit noch 2 Aperitif ,da sie dachte wir hätten unsere noch nicht.Dann kam der Kellner mit dem Wein...unsere Aperitif war noch voll...wir schickten den Wein zurück,da er sonst warm geworden wäre bis das Essen kam. Als wir fertig mit unserem Aperitif waren,kam das Brot mit dem Aufstrich ....zum Aperitif. Die Garnelen waren noch roh und der Zander...sah aus wie fritiert. Die Garnelen konnte und wollte ich nicht essen.... Und der Kellner fragte auch nicht ob es uns geschmeckt hat........ Wir haben probiert und waren enttäuscht

Celebrated my daughter's wedding there. Beautiful ambiance, the food was delicious, but unfortunately lukewarm due to the lack of service. Only two waiters, who also had to cover the ongoing operations in the hotel bar, weren't enough. Therefore, it always seemed to take an eternity for someone to come and take orders. It's a shame, really; this isn't a criticism of the two waitresses; they were always attentive and exceptionally friendly.

Restaurant review for lunch: Nice seating in the bright, spacious room, unless it's booked by a large group. Despite having a reservation, five of us had to sit quite close together at a table for four in the aisle, one at the head of the table, and Grandpa on a very high chair, which was a shame. Really good food. The fish salad is excellent and unbeatable for the price, and the fish was cooked to perfection! It's generally good that there's a vegan dish on the menu. The vegetables were nice and crisp, but unfortunately, they were unseasoned overall. Perhaps they could add a little extra spice to the dish, for example, with a spicy tomato sauce? The service on this day was really very friendly and accommodating! Overall, things certainly didn't go perfectly that day due to the large group.

A wonderful place to have a break.

Remote farm estate with an eventful history, charm and ambience. Hotel service friendly, helpful and accommodating. The cuisine in the restaurant is upscale. Imaginative events are organized with attention to detail. There are several hiking tours of different lengths in the area. Excellent for a short break.

We had lunch in the restaurant with 5 people (so I can't judge the hotel). Atmosphere and food excellent, service friendly and impeccable. It wasn't the last time we were there.

We were there yesterday on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was absolute chaos. First of all, no one paid any attention to us. When we finally found a waiter, our reserved table was taken. These four guests were then sent away. When we got to the table, no one paid any attention to us. The table wasn't set for 6 people and there were only 4 chairs. We then organized chairs and cutlery ourselves. After 45 minutes we finally got something to drink. The food was quick at least and everything came as ordered. The schnitzel was excellent, but the risotto was inedible. There were also problems with the food at almost every other table. The completely chaotic and unstructured service unfortunately spoiled the overall impression and the restaurant cannot be recommended. Especially since the restaurant is comparatively expensive. You would expect perfect service there. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes for the bill and only received it after the second reminder.

I've been there twice now for dinner. Very nice and attentive service. The rump steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. The veal cordon bleu was also excellent. The side salads were very appealing and good. I can only recommend the mango sorbet as a dessert. All I can say is go to Hofgut Imsbach.

Regarding preparations and planning for a larger funeral service, I can only report positive things. Mr. Britz is very committed, friendly, answers promptly and tries hard. I am aware that it is not easy to find good and sufficient service staff today, so we hope that everything goes well at the funeral service with the proceedings, drinks, etc. (all of which are mentioned here), I am in a positive mood.....

We were there for a funeral. First of all, we waited quite a while for the drinks to be ordered. Later there was a misunderstanding about our reservation which for some reason resulted in us being completely ignored. We sat there for an hour and no one ever came to take the food orders again. We ended up leaving without anything to eat because we just felt unwanted. Even as a Berliner, I have never experienced such bad service.

I can't give a review of the rooms because we only visited the café. We were there as a group after the funeral for my father's funeral. I had reserved a table for 10 people a few weeks in advance. When we arrived the service seemed overwhelmed and didn't know where to seat us. After we were assigned a nice table, we ordered drinks, which came quite quickly. After that, confusion seemed to set in. We were mistaken for another group of mourners several times. Apparently the service was confused with the reservations. After I explained that we were a separate group and would like to order food, we were consistently ignored. No further questions about drinks or even food. Not even the menu was cleared. After about an hour we left without eating. After I had traveled from Berlin, more than disappointing. I've never experienced anything like that. Even the counter service at Globus, where we had something to eat afterwards, was more attentive and extremely friendly.

Four of us were there for coffee and cake. The service was unfriendly. Price/performance totally excessive. Our pieces of cake were half the size of usual. The daily offer for coffee and 1 piece of cake was not adequately calculated. Our complaint after receiving the invoice was responded to illogically and incorrectly.

We were there for dinner on Boxing Day with 12 people. The food was very tasty and you couldn't complain about the service either. All courses were always served at the same time, despite 12 people, and there were no long waiting times between courses. The staff was nice and friendly. (The chairs are a bit special, but that's a matter of taste. :)) We'd love to come back.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to eat at Hofgut Imsbach. The ambience is really nice, but could be significantly improved with small optimizations. For example, outdoor lighting would not only make orientation easier, but would also enhance the atmosphere without much effort. Overall, the farm estate has enormous potential, which unfortunately is not fully utilized. About the restaurant: We were warmly welcomed by a young, blonde-haired woman who, together with her equally friendly colleague, served us excellently. Both were attentive and engaging. The waiter, on the other hand, did his job properly, but seemed a bit unfriendly due to his very taciturn manner. The menu is kept compact, which we found pleasant. We tried various dishes, including pasta with roast beef, two types of schnitzel, lemon risotto and some starters and desserts. This gave us a good idea of ​​the kitchen. The food itself was okay, but not a real highlight. Unfortunately, the risotto had too much of a citrus note and was overcooked. The schnitzel was flattened but also breaded just as flat and tightly. Overall, we got a solid impression and could imagine coming back again in the summer to experience the outdoor areas. However, the temperature in the restaurant was unpleasant - it was noticeably cold. I suspect that this is less due to a technical defect and more due to the high heating costs to keep the large building complex at the right temperature. It seems as if the Hofgut is primarily designed for large events such as weddings in the summer, which is reflected in the prioritization. A nice evening, but something is still missing to really be remembered.

We ate in the restaurant with 7 people on Christmas Day. The food was very tasty and the price was ok, but the poor service almost ruined our evening. We were not greeted and the table we reserved was not yet fully set. A chair collapsed! We couldn't start a course together because at least one person always had no food or drinks, was probably forgotten and was only served much later when asked. The staff was unfriendly and not attuned to each other. Unfortunately, it was cold and drafty in the restaurant and the atmosphere wasn't very festive, as tables were constantly being moved around the room and rearranged... I imagine a festive meal at Christmas differently. It's a shame because the place is very beautiful! I thought it was good that there was also a vegetarian menu and a children's menu at Christmas too!

Would like to give 0 stars. My boyfriend and I wanted to use the Hofgut for our wedding next year. The nature and the building are beautiful. We made an inquiry and quickly had an appointment with Ms. Meiser. We were informed that the estate has new management and that they have to restructure everything, but nothing stands in the way of our wedding. A date was reserved for us and we were promised that we would receive an offer in 4 weeks. After 4 weeks there was still no offer, so I contacted Ms. M. by phone. I was very annoyed and told off that I would get the offer in 2 weeks. It's been over 2 months now and I haven't received any response to date. I find it really unprofessional to keep your potential customers waiting like that and not get in touch. I therefore advise all potential brides and grooms to avoid this location until the restructuring is complete. The location is really beautiful, but the new event management is visibly overwhelmed with their new tasks and therefore bridal couples should really save themselves the stress.

Had a Christmas party with around 15 people, it was bitterly cold in the restaurant. When we asked if we could turn on the radiators, we were told the heating was turned up to full capacity and we were then offered blankets. A hot drink on the house would have been a nice gesture. The food was very tasty, although the side salad that would have been included with the dish was forgotten.

The ambience is quite nice, but that's about it. Juice spritzer doesn't taste like anything, fries weren't cooked through and the nuggets were prepared in the same (old) fat as the fries. Some of the service was friendly, the other part seemed annoyed and stressed. It's a shame, it doesn't have to be anymore.

So it's really bordering on madness to organize a Christmas market/Christmas magic on an area that can actually only be driven in one direction and then not even organize signposts. We stood there for 30 minutes and didn't get any further! Tip to the organizers for next time, organize signposts or signs that show you an alternative route (e.g. via Selbach). Today was absolutely no fun.

A beautiful ambience in terms of the surroundings and the property. The inside of the building is more sobering, but okay. The staff is largely nice, but unfortunately most of them have been retrained.
