A beautiful ambience in terms of the surroundings and the property. The inside of the building is more sobering, but okay. The staff is largely nice, but unfortunately most of them have been retrained.

We were here just to eat. The two of us spontaneously went to the restaurant on a Sunday and were greeted in a very friendly manner, served quickly and had a great seat. Very friendly staff, super delicious food and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We haven't paid €80 for two people with two drinks each, a main course and a dessert.

Light and shadow We stayed at the Hofgut Imsbach for 2 nights with breakfast. We were aware that breakfast costs 16 euros extra. We also knew in advance that the restaurant would not be open due to two closed events. However, you should be able to expect from a hotel in this price range that at least the bar will be open in the evening if you want to have a nightcap. But unfortunately none. The bar was closed and despite having staff there they weren't willing to make us a drink. On Sunday the breakfast was excellent despite the slightly snotty staff, but on Monday it was much clearer, especially in the cheese selection. We were also given a cappuccino on Sunday, but on Monday the machine was not switched on and was not switched on and we were referred to the filter coffee that was available. There is nothing wrong with the room (new building with a view of the pond) and the really beautiful grounds. More than enough for two nights and if the staff would internalize the service concept a little more, we would also give it more stars.

Good hotel in a beautiful property.

Located about 1 kilometer in the forest, a lake with great trees and sun. This is not a dream but the time out you can have at the Hofgut. A place to stroll and unwind. The breakfast was good and the menu looked great. Rooms clean and nicely decorated.

In the middle of a nature park with its own lake, so peaceful and quiet. Excellent rooms for the price and the breakfasts are expensive but worth it. We stayed for one night because it was conveniently located by the A1 enroute to the UK. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on a Monday and there are few alternatives locally as it is a very sparsely populated area. Also the hotel has a eerie vibe because the reception is closed from 4pm but it was a lovely stay. I bet it's better when the restaurant is open.

We stayed there for 2 nights for my daughter's wedding. As soon as we checked in we were “received” by a not very friendly lady. I later learned her name, Ms. Koster. Instead of welcoming us, the lady was visibly annoyed. Good and beautiful. Everyone has a bad day sometimes. The other ladies at the reception were all very nice. We had to walk relatively far to get to our room, walk, take the elevator down, walk, up the stairs, walk, then finally the rooms. In between we passed open rooms with laundry and washing machines. That's not what a guest in this price range really wants to see. There were also carts with laundry and cleaning carts everywhere. It was around 4:30 p.m. The rooms should be cleaned by this time. We were able to relax at dinner in the restaurant. The food was good, the gentleman who served us was very friendly and took great care of my granddaughter. Then to our rooms. The rooms are functionally furnished, the bathroom is older, everything is clean. The storage in the bathroom was very poor. The bed was good. My daughter had a family room that had a kitchen. However, there wasn't even coffee there. A coffee machine was available, but you have to bring your own coffee (powder). Where else can you find something like that today? Almost every hotel in this price range has a capsule or pad machine, even in “normal” rooms. Here is an old coffee machine WITHOUT COFFEE, 5 bags of tea were available and 1 x sugar. That was it!! The breakfast (costs extra) was rich, the staff was ok in the morning. You had to figure everything out yourself, there was no explanation that there was a separate room where you could help yourself to the buffet. Now about the wedding: The wedding took place in a separate room, which was very beautiful. However, the windows were very dirty, which really needs to be checked better. The staff at the wedding was excellent, very accommodating and the wedding was very well prepared from A - Z by Alica Wagner and on the day of the wedding Jacqueline was the contact person for us. So nice, so well organized. Just great!! Conclusion: A wedding there again at any time, but probably not staying there for a private holiday. You can tell that it is not a privately run house. There needs to be more control (staff and premises).

We met for Mother's Day for a lovely walk with the family at the Hofgut Imsbach and wanted to end the lovely day with coffee and cake in the beer garden. Unfortunately, both service staff who served on the terrace were extremely annoyed and unfriendly and took this out on the guests in a very snippy manner. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all. So we decided not to have dinner in the restaurant afterwards. At least on the positive side: cake and ice cream were delicious!

We came here for dinner and everything was delicious! The restaurant is beautifully situated in the countryside and you can sit very comfortably both inside and outside. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended!

Very quiet place! A beautiful park with trees where the deceased rest! Lots of paths to walk.

This was the fourth time I was there over the weekend with an overnight stay and a two-day seminar. Very great and clean location, nice clean rooms, friendly staff and a good restaurant. Very nice, quiet location with historical flair. I look forward to further visits!

We went to the Hofgut Imsbach Lapointe for a two-day workshop and we really enjoyed it. The staff is very nice and helpful, the location is very nice and clean and the kitchen has specially created a vegan menu. 5/5 stars

Today we were at the mill for the breakfast buffet with 6 people. Unfortunately it was very, very cold in the restaurant, so the radiators (at least the ones that were working) had no way of warming the room to a comfortable temperature. When we left after about 1½ hours, we were all cold. Now about the buffet... There was none!!! There were rolls and bread, as well as a cheese and mixed sausage and ham platter, as well as two different jams, quark and butter. There was also a pot of coffee on the table. At the beginning of the meal we were asked which eggs we wanted, which were also prepared very tasty. All in all it was OK, but quite expensive for €15. There are competitors who offer more on these terms and, above all, where it is warm.

Hotel in a former farm with a lot of ambience. Room large, good bed and bathroom, room furnishings simple, friendly. Reception, service with room for improvement.

A special place, embedded in a forest area, steeped in history and romantic. We were here for three days and are very satisfied. We had a nice apartment with a view of nature. Absolute peace, hiking trails galore. Staff and restaurant are top. We will be back definitely.

Visually very beautiful. The man at reception greeted us with a smile. Very good. Different in the restaurant The staff there was very reserved and distant. You didn't feel welcome. There were six of us, we came from a funeral and we made it clear that we weren't staying long. After pleading and begging, we were eventually allowed to drink a coffee even though there were only 3 people in the room. The coffee was good, the cheesecake was like cold rubber. Bee sting was ok. When we left there were no longer any people in the restaurant. The first of our round left 10 minutes earlier. He was asked directly: everything together?? WHY? . The second person who wanted to go was me. Question for me: everything together? (Don't feel like deducting?) (Not interested in tips?) Then I paid everything together. Gave a tip. Unfortunately I didn't even receive a thank you. A pity. Maybe the staff didn't like it? Maybe we were overdressed? Or too polite? We will never know. A pity.

It was a nice and comfortable stay with room for improvement The location is really great, beautiful old farm, with a cow stable and horse farm nearby. You can take many walks. Our room faced the lake and was extremely quiet. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. We also loved the restaurant in the evening. Really delicious food. A few employees were friendly. We didn't like the breakfast for 15€/person. Filter coffee was on the table, I would have expected that you could order a cappuccino or something. The selection at the buffet was really meager. No cow's milk alternatives. In 2023 this will really be standard. Fresh vegetables were missing or a fruit salad... For €30 you can have an exceptionally good breakfast for two in a café. If the buffet was included in the hotel price, it would be fine. There is no drinks/snack vending machine in the house. Because you are really very cut off. So as a guest you would have the opportunity to get something else. Sometimes you encountered employees in the hotel who didn't even respond to a nice hello from our website. I don't think that works at all. The room was not cleaned on the 2nd day. We stayed at the hotel until 12:00 and then again in the evening. You should definitely come back to the rooms from housekeeping, not just in the morning.

Very disappointing restaurant visit… beginner level service! I thought about writing a review for a long time, but it just has to go: we reserved a table for 7 p.m., we weren't sitting at the table yet and still had our jackets on, and we were asked what we would like to drink without even knowing the menu , let alone sitting 🙈🙈. Then at some point we ordered an aperitif, starter and main course. The starter came BEFORE the aperitif! So we left the starter back so we could drink our aperitif in peace. A few minutes later our starter arrived, which had already cooled and the cream had melted on the soup. Soup was very tasty. Then the main course arrived shortly afterwards with the excuse that the kitchen would close at 8pm. We were really shocked by this service!! Food was ok. Dessert was also ok, but the espresso wasn't really warm either. Conclusion: we will definitely not be coming back! More appearance than reality!

Waren dort wandern und anschließend eingekehrt (daher keine Wertung für die Zimmer) Service war super nett - und schnell Essen war sehr fein. Vorspeiche Rindfleischsuppe mit Markklößchen und gebratene Pfifferlinge für meine Frau. Wildgulasch mit Hoorischen und Rotkraut - super lecker (obwohl ich sonst keine Hoorische esse) und ein Salat mit warmen Linsen - toll - die Teller waren alle leer gegessen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Idyllisch gelegenes Hotel mit sehr gutem Restaurant, das aber Montags und Dienstag geschlossen ist.

Ich war mit meiner Frau anlässlich ihres Geburtstag dort im Restaurant. Zunächst einmal möchte ich die tolle ländliche Lage hervorheben. Im Restaurant hat sich ein netter junger Mann um uns gekümmert. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut und reichlich. Preise, Service & Essen 5☆ Kann ich daher uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Am Hofgut beginnen eine Reihe von Wandertouren, z.B. der Offizierspfad. Auf dem kostenlosen Parkplatz sind viele Stellplätze vorhanden. Nach der Wanderung kann man sowohl innen, wie auch außen schön sitzen und einkehren. In der Nähe des Hofgutes liegt auch die Johann-Adam-Mühle.

Das beste Hotel in der Region. Alles gut.

Great historical location. Surrounded by beautiful forest with lots of possibilities for outdoors activities. (Walks, mountain biking, bike trekking, just to name a few). Rooms are well decorated, bathrooms are clean (rarity nowadays. Thank the cleaning ladies! They do a great job keeping everything clean.) Reception and service personnels are very attentive despite the different functions which is going on in the house. They do stop and listen even though there is a lot they need to attend to. Very friendly and forthcoming, making sure your request is also taken care of. My stay was a very lovely and pleasant experience.

Preis/Leistung hat mich leider nicht überzeugt. Schorle sehr dünn, Roastbeef am Salat besser als den Linguini. Interessiert hier leider keinen 🧐 Dafür ist es zu teuer...

Wohlwollende 2 Sterne für die Küche. Waren am Samstag dort zum Abendessen mit mehreren Personen. Ich hab das Schweineschnitzel bestellt mit Pommes Frites. Es ist schon ne Kunst ein Stück Fleisch so trocken hinzubekommen. Kommt dazu, dass die zwei beigelegten Zitronenscheiben schon deutliche Spuren von Trockenheit aufzeigten weil schon zu lange aufgeschnitten, womöglich ja auch noch vom Mittagessen übriggeblieben. Der Salat mit Zander war relativ geschmacklos, der Krabbenspieß TK-Ware, der Zander zu fettig gebraten. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis an der Stelle nicht stimmig. Womöglich hatte der Koch nen schlechten Tag erwischt, was uns allen mal passieren kann. Die Location an sich ist echt schön.

Sehr schön gelegende Anlage und tolles Hotel.Saubere und gemütliche Zimmer auch für Hunde super geeignet. Wir haben 4 schöne Tage im Hotel und Umgebung verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Restaurant war sehr gut , das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Sehr freundliches Personal im ganzen Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir mal wieder im Saarland sein sollten.

Ich war jetzt zweimal dort zum Abendessen. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Das Rumpsteak war sehr zart und auf den Punkt gegart. Das Kalbscordon bleu war auch ausgezeichnet. Die Beilagenssalate sehr ansprechend und gut. Das Mangosorbet als Dessert kann ich nur empfehlen. Ich kann nur sagen, auf zum Hofgut Imsbach.

Auch im St. Wendeler Land eine Reise wert.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und es ging sehr schnell. Besonders positiv waren die sehr nette Bedienungen. Und zwar ehrlich nett und herzlich und nicht künstlich gespielt. Das Ambiente innen ist sehr schön. Fazit: Sehr zufrieden und sehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren dort, da Bekannte von uns dort auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen waren. Muss richtig toll gewesen sein😀😀😀
