Acht Sterne in Altena

One star is still too many. The food was very oily. We ate there today. My daughter is vomiting. Several of us went there, and we all suffered from stomach pain, diarrhea, or vomiting. Never again!

The food was really great, the schnitzel with sour cream was fantastic. We didn't like the atmosphere in the bar area; even though we were the only ones there at 5 pm, we were given a table by the staff entrance...

A rustic country inn with excellent, home-style food. Very friendly service, and an atmosphere reminiscent of 20-30 years ago. The location is perfect if you're planning on going on a hike before or after your visit.
