Service was very unfriendly. You ask for Coke, but you get Pepsi instead (without a glass). Food quality -1

Being an Indian student in Berlin, I occasionally try from Indian restaurant as eating out is really expensive. But this place absolutely disappointed first of all with a cold responsive staff and then with a poor food quality and quantity. Never trying here again.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um echte indische Küche zu erleben. Die Currys waren reichhaltig, das Naan kam frisch aus dem Ofen, und das Personal sorgte dafür, dass wir uns die ganze Zeit wohlfühlten und das Ambiente organisiert und sauber war.

Absolutely delicious food with authentic flavors, great ambience, friendly staff and a wide variety of dishes. Highly recommended for anyone who wants real Indian cuisine.

Das Personal im Aashish war unglaublich höflich und aufmerksam, was die Erfahrung so angenehm machte. Das Chicken Biryani war perfekt gewürzt und voller Geschmack. Ich liebe auch das Getränk, das perfekt zu dem würzigen und geschmackvollen indischen Gericht passt.

Sie servieren wirklich leckeres Essen in guter Menge. Den Preis wert. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und schlägt vor, dass Sie bestellen möchten, wenn Sie zum ersten Mal Indisch probieren.

Ashish Restaurant ist wirklich ein Ort zu besuchen. Sie haben die beste indische Küche, wie Bombay Platte, Chicken Tikka, und andere Aloo Palak. Es ist wirklich ein Genuss für die Seele. Sehr empfehlenswert

I wouldn't go here for a date, the place is not super neat and the music is often weird like Titanic soundtrack and so. Also the decor is quite intense. But the price of the food is very good for the portion size and I had an Indian friend telling me that it's quite authentic and not bad.

Dieses Restaurant hat eine so lebendige Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist auch auf Kirschen gekrönt , Lecker. ihr Engagement für die Verwendung frischer Zutaten und authentischer Gewürze, die das Essen wirklich aufwerten. I ordered paneer butter masala from here and it is the worst paneer butter masala i have ever. Who put cauliflower and other veggies in the paneer butter masala?? Totally money waste . No taste at all.

Just here for the first time. It's been over a thousand times... Chili paneer, bhatura, mango lassi, salad, rice and papadum first. What can I say, it tastes great. Great aroma (as I know it from India). It was super quick and the service was excellent and super attentive. I like it, I'll come back!

Most worst restaurant ever I had in Berlin. Firstly me and my friend just sit outside table nobody came 10 min then my friend as the employee for menu he said take it from next table. Then we ordered food. After long waiting drink and food came its is so disgusting even in mango lassi they something serum in it. Roti was not properly cooked. Only employee is there. He doesn't have manner to talk and behave with customers. He just sit on table next two table. He is not even came to us for bill. We go inside for pay. I live in berlin from last 6 years. I never had experienced like this in restaurants. If there is options minus rating I will give -5 star for this restaurant

You win some, you lose some. Stale pappadam (like cardboard), waited forever to have my order taken while people working at the restaurant are standing around talking and hardly anyone else is in the restaurant and I'm staring at them, same deal waiting for my bill. Very bad mainstream pop music blaring. The saag panneer was fine - there was a lack of flavor because they clearly dialed it down for the Westerner but it was fine. That's why I gave the three stars.

Payed for food to go with Toogoodtogo, its basically a con...they gave me 4 potatoes and rice...supposely a dish that cost 12 €....what a joke! Betruger!

In my opinion, what we ordered was freshly prepared for us and tasted great. Price-performance ratio is good, service is nice. The only drawback noted during my visit in 07/2022: Warsteiner from the barrel tasted a bit stale, with hardly any crown on it. If there had been fresh tap, it would have been better, especially on this hot summer day. >>> Update 09/2022 and 12/2022: We had dinner here again and this time we were completely satisfied. The food was fresh and very tasty, the salad was crisp, this time there was nothing wrong with the draft beer and our service was just as friendly as in July and September. >>> Update 02/2023, 05/2023, 11/2023, 03/2024: everything is great. I think the food there is very tasty and for the price it is very good and the waiters are also very nice. I just feel very comfortable there and there is also a particularly delicious mangolasi. I am absolutely satisfied with it💯😀😀😀☺️😉

Tiny portions with 4-5 pieces of lamb (ordered from Uber), paid for papadum, but unfortunately it was missing and not a highlight in terms of taste.

A disappointing takeaway :( We ordered via the phone and went to collect ourselves. I ordered a tofu tikka masala, which from the menu was €10.90. When I arrived, I was then charged €19.90!! The same price as a lamb tikka grill, which is already very steep. But nearly €20 for tofu is far too much. I tried to explain that the prices were different online, but the waiter just kept saying “you’ll enjoy the food, don’t worry.” Well.. I didn’t.. so now I’d be interested in a refund. Also, we ordered onion bhajis, but we received dry, plain onion rings!? I cannot believe it. And the naan was thin and dry. If someone would be in contact with me, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

Meine Frau hat dort etwas zum mitnehmen bestellt, als sie dort wartete bat ihr der Kellner etwas zu trinken an meine Frau verneinte. Es wurde ihr dennoch etwas gebracht, sie trank davon und es wurde ihr berechnet... So kann man auch Geld machen.^^ Das Essen war zudem nicht lecker und frisch.

Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im "Aashish Berlin" Leider muss ich meine Erfahrung im "Aashish Berlin" als äußerst enttäuschend beschreiben. Was einen gemütlichen Abend mit gutem Essen hätte sein sollen, endete in Frustration und Unzufriedenheit. Während des Essens fand ein Freund von mir ein kleines Knochenstückchen in seinem Fleischgericht. Ein Vorfall, der sicherlich passieren kann, aber es kommt darauf an, wie das Restaurantpersonal darauf reagiert. In diesem Fall wiesen wir den Servicemitarbeiter höflich auf diesen unerfreulichen Fund hin, mit der Bitte, dies dem Koch mitzuteilen, um ähnliche Vorfälle in Zukunft zu vermeiden. Jedoch war die Reaktion alles andere als professionell oder kundenorientiert. Als es um die Bezahlung ging, bat ich darum, als kleine Geste des Entgegenkommens die beiden Softdrinks nicht zu berechnen. Diese Bitte wurde jedoch abgelehnt. Schlimmer noch, uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass der Koch das Knochenstückchen nicht als solches identifiziert habe - ohne uns eine plausible Erklärung dafür zu liefern, was es denn sonst gewesen sein könnte. Es gab kein Eingeständnis des Fehlers, keine Entschuldigung und kein Entgegenkommen, was mich an der Kundenbetreuung und Servicequalität des Restaurants stark zweifeln lässt. Ein Restaurantbesuch ist nicht nur eine Frage des Essens, sondern auch der Erfahrung - und in diesem Fall ließ beides zu wünschen übrig. Es ist bedauerlich, dass der Umgang mit einer einfachen Beschwerde so mangelhaft gehandhabt wurde. Dieser Vorfall hat unser gesamtes Erlebnis überschattet und leider kann ich keine positive Bewertung abgeben. Ein Stern ist in diesem Fall das Höchste, was ich für das Aashish vergeben kann, und ich würde zögern, dieses Restaurant weiterzuempfehlen oder erneut zu besuchen.

Halbe Stunde vor Laden Schließung bin ich rein und die haben mir gesagt, dass das Essen 5-10 Minuten braucht, doch es kam eine halbe Stunde später an. Also überlegt euch zweimal, ob ihr essen wollt.

I ordered chicken masala and that was delicious but with a big slice of onion and very tough! With a little bit rice not really for one person! For that price 14€ that was not good It most be 7 or 8€ !

The guy yell me to wait 5-10 minutes but it was 20 , so I told him that next time he has to tell customers how long they really wait and he didn’t want to give me change or food, while he was arguing, and he didn’t agree, just took food away, really bad service, wish you no customers!!

The food was nice in terms of flavour however the chicken had a strange texture. Das Essen war ok, der Service jedoch unaufmerksam und langsam, obwohl es fast leer war und die Preise waren unangemessen hoch, typische Touristenfalle, da exponiert gelegen! Es gibt in den Nebenstraßen mehrere wesentlich bessere indische Restaurants.

There is no option for 0 star , That’s why i have to give one star . Worst service i ever seen in my life . Food came almost after 40 min on the table . He just put food on the table without saying anything. Waiter is sitting on the chair and busy on the phone. Even he didn’t ask second time that everything is ok , we need something, he just busy on his phone . Most worst thing at the end i have to carry my food inside by myself for packing even he saw that but he still busy on his phone . i didn’t give him tip because of his worst service and he went inside with attitude without saying any thing . Food - i never eat worst paneer tika masala and samosa in my life . Samosa is totally burned and paneer tika masala is totally spicy without any taste and with lots of vegetables inside. Never ever again in this restaurant.

Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen war auch sehr lecker.

Waren gestern in Berlin unterwegs und haben dort gegessen. Das Personal ist freundlich allerdings hatten wir ein Verständigungsproblem, das unnötig zur einer Diskussion geführt hatte, aber dank des professionellen Vorgehen seitens des Geschäftsführer war das Problem schnell behoben 👍🏽.

Wir waren zuerst vor rund 7 Jahren schonmal bei Aashish. Als wir in der Nähe einen Termin hatten, kam uns der Erscheinungsbild bekannt vor und wir entschlossen uns zum 2. Besuch nach 7 Jahren. Wir haben nur vegane Speisen bestellt und waren begeistert von Frische und Geschmack der Speisen. Der Service war wunderbar freundlich und der anwesende Eigentümer erkundigte sich persönlich nach dem Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste. Alles in allem werden wir keine Jahre mehr verstreichen lassen, sondern wieder kommen und auch mal online bestellen! Weiter so.

Worst ever food and even worst service… All they want is your money. And they will do anything to cheat you. Price they charge you is 2€ more than what is written on menu…. Worst worst worsttttttt indian restaurant. Being an Indian myself my advice is not to spend a single penny and time here. Such restaurants are tarnishing Indian’s image.

Ambiente ist ziemlich klassisch, nichts besonderes. Die Lichterketten waren ein bisschen nervig da besteht ja fast schon Epilepsie Gefahr. Service könnte manchmal etwas aufmerksamer sein, ansonsten war Essen durchschnittlich okey, lecker aber nichts besonderes. Die Cocktails sind wirklich sehr günstig (4,50€ weil fast immer Happy Hour ist) aber dafür sind sie jetzt nicht super gemixt.

Personal ist sehr nett. Leider war in meinem Essen ein Tick zu viel Essig. Im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants, welche ich Besucht hatte, kann ich leider nur 3 Sterne vergeben.

I used to like the restaurant a lot, but they recently changed something with their naan and its so bad that I will hesitate to order from the restaurant again. The naan was not fresh, it seemed like they bought it from the store and just heat it up before serving us.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr netter und aufmerksamer Bedingung. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Zudem wurde sehr zuvorkommend mit Bedürftigen umgegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in er Nähe sind.

Tolles Essen, richtig netter Service und eine schöne Atmosphäre, dabei wirklich faire Preise - ich gehe jetzt sicher öfter hier essen und kann den Laden sehr empfehlen! Es gibt eine gute, aber nicht unübersichtliche Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten und auch Sachen mit Fleisch.

Great experience. I entered out of curiosity, just to take a tea, but ended up having a dinner. I tried the chicken tikka - It served two and are really tasty. We also liked the mango lassie - smooth, creamy, and savory. The environment is also very nice, I felt like I was in India, and the team was very friendly. I strongly recommend it.

Although it doesn’t look as fancy from the outside as the many other Friedrichshain places that slowly gentrified the area, it is a must visit nonetheless. The service is highly recommended, food, portions and choices are wonderful. Like a hug, it feels like home being here.

Lassi was bad .. But rest all was good.. we were there for the friend’s birthday .. stuff also greeted our friend and gave drink with sparkling candle.
