Good alternative. Fast and friendly service. Reasonably priced for good fresh food. Reservation is an advantage. Gladly again.

I really liked it! Friendly staff, quick service. The feed is fast, despite the full landing. Food: miso soup and udon - rich, tasty (in Ukrainian), I really liked the shrimp. A little lower 💥 for the atmosphere - there was not enough coziness. Separately, I would like to note the very good tableware and serving of dishes. It was so delicious that I had to eat it all. 💙💛

In my opinion the best Asian cuisine in Jena, quite simply. A little more expensive but definitely worth it. Both the small dishes and the larger dishes are very tasty and high quality (oh that miso ramen...😋)

Restaurant was very full because it was the run-up to Christmas. However, the staff tried very hard to keep the situation under control. The taste of the food was OK but not very authentic. My soup and beef ramen wasn't very warm. 17.85 is a very impressive price for a noodle soup with mushrooms, corn, sprouts, spring onions, bamboo and beef.

We were invited to dinner yesterday and we were all really happy! The portions, the presentation, the taste and the price were absolutely fine. I can only recommend...

Okay, so this is difficult. I had 2 dishes, both of which were very different in quality (1) Gyoza and karaage/fried. Super delicious!! They can definitely be fried!! And the kimchi burned well 😋 I would give it 5 stars! (2) Miso ramen. Worst ramen I've ever had 🤢 But I'm also spoiled by the Jen in Jena. Unfortunately, the miso soup was totally over-seasoned and the vegetables were barely cooked through. But the egg was great! So 1 star for the disappointing setting that I couldn't even finish because.... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee withedeeded into eating Overall: Go here for fried food and sushi, but not the ramen. So 3 stars/golden mean. Oh! And the portions are relatively small. I really don't eat much but the portion wasn't nearly enough for me despite the main course + starter

We were there in the evening. Everything would have been just wonderful if the kitchen employee hadn’t been making noise nearby with a box of bottles. The noise was so loud it was annoying. You come to relax and chat with friends and here...

Price performance absolutely unbeatable. Food very tasty and friendly service. You have to like the atmosphere... I would still come back at any time.

Rib-eye rice tastes like a 3 with Megan Fox and Jakob Eichter. It couldn't be better, absolute recommendation!

Went there for the first time today and had a very good dinner. The staff was very friendly and the food was equally good. My friend had the inside-out sushi and loved it as well. She was equally enthusiastic about the mango tofu salad. For my part, I had a rice dish. The meat was fried crispy, as described, and the sweet potato curry was just as good. For my taste it could have used a little more spice, but all in all it was good. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the edamame. This could have been much saltier and crunchier. Nevertheless, overall the food was good and we would visit this restaurant again. Best regards

I bought some noodles to go. The place looked good, the food was tasty and a decent portion. The service was nice but could hardly speak German.

Very good restaurant. We were completely satisfied with everything. The service is nice and very fast. Within an hour we were able to eat a starter, main course and dessert. The food including the sushi was great. Highly recommended.

I would like to give it 100 stars 😀 The sushi was so incredibly tasty and the lemonade was great too. Absolutely ok price and very friendly service. You should definitely reserve a table so that you can get a seat. The only small drawback is that the 2-person tables are very close to each other. But absolute recommendation and I'll definitely come back.🤩

The restaurant was almost full on a Tuesday evening, yet we could get a table for 2 pretty much immediately. The drinks, starters as well as the main dishes, all arrived super fast with almost no more than 10 mins of waiting time. The tempura was super crispy, the dish was made spicy according to the request. Overall, an amazing experience. :-)

This restaurant is just mega! Right at the entrance you are warmly welcomed and there is nothing to complain about at all. The food, whether sushi or noodles, leaves nothing to be desired. My absolute favorite restaurant, I look forward to a visit every time ☺️.

The food here really blew me away. The miso soup is absolutely delicious, the main course of tempura prawns was to die for. The service impresses with its friendly demeanor and speed. The food also came very quickly and was incredibly fresh. The vegetarian selection was also very good and impressed with its great, authentic taste. A minor flaw are the slightly uncomfortable chairs, but there are also others that are made of wicker and they are very comfortable. It was even brought to me upon request. The price-performance ratio is great. I can't say anything about the sushi because we didn't have any

Nice service, nice sushi varieties. The main course, red curry with duck, lacked a bit of pizzazz.

Wir hatten uns zusammen paar Vorspeisen und Sushi Gerichte bestellt und das Essen war relativ schnell fertig und hatte eine gute Portionsgröße. Freundliche Bedienung und der Preis war in Ordnung. Fazit: 10/10 zu empfehlen

Was here on a date. Very elegant and cozy atmosphere, very tasty food and a large selection of drinks, which are not just "Cola" and shots. The food is very inexpensive and the service is very friendly. I can only recommend it!

We stopped here on our bike tour and had lunch: tea, vegi bowl with tofu and something with crispy chicken. It was wonderful, authentic, inexpensive and a pleasant portion size. Beautiful dishes, harmonious interior design and very friendly service. It's a shame that we live so far away from here, otherwise, like me, we eat here more often

Rarely have Asian food been so good. We came across this lovely restaurant by chance during our visit to Jena. Facilities very attractive, very friendly young staff and excellent food.

It was so incredibly delicious! The service was also great, very kind and attentive! I highly recommend it! ♡ I still know the location from Lélek and they really pulled out everything they could. I am very stunned! I can particularly recommend the Kyoto lemonade and I was so happy to finally be able to try Hotteok!

I finally found my way to 969 Kyoto and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful, natural and calm ambience, homely atmosphere. Unfortunately I had to wait 20 minutes for my food despite it being lunchtime and having a lunch menu. The soda was tasty, although a bit expensive. The noodle bowl with fried tofu also tasted good. The only thing that bothered me was the language barrier. Although the shop is obviously only run by very young people who probably have a Vietnamese background and were probably born here, they speak German poorly. Price and performance were ok, store is recommended.

The restaurant is quite hidden in a small alley next to the main square. The service was good and the staff friendly. The food was okay but for my taste it was more salad (side dish) than main course. But all in all it's a nice restaurant.

The food was very tasty. It is really recommended! I can especially recommend the udon noodles with tofu. The Romeo and Juliet aperitifs were also delicious. Unfortunately, towards the end the service was very rare and we had to wait a while until we could say that we wanted to pay. But it was also quite busy, so that's not so bad. Unfortunately, the toilet is a bit difficult to find, a sign would be nice.

The food was great and the employees were super nice. Can absolutely recommend. There were seven of us and everyone was very satisfied. As a passionate beer drinker, I just have to say that the draft beer wasn't a hit. But I think very few people go here for the beer.😉

I love this restaurant! Unfortunately, I was more impressed by the quality immediately after it opened. Things have changed a bit since then. At the beginning the waiters were extremely polite and the portions seemed to be a bit larger. Today little things are no longer so perfect. I'm still a huge fan. The sushi in particular is super tasty and, in my opinion, the best in Jena!

By far the tastiest restaurant in Jena, the prices are also really good, especially for the really good quality, I really enjoy going here again and again :)

Very nice, smaller restaurant with an outdoor terrace. Despite the central location near Paradies train station, it's nice and quiet to eat outside. The service was exceptionally good. Very friendly and very attentive. The map is small and clear. Something completely different like this typical baked chicken with rice and vegetables. Here you were “forced” to try something new and dare. :) As a starter we had the dumplings with vegetable filling and the summer rolls with salmon. Both tasted fantastic. Main course curry dish with purple rice and I had a bowl with vegetables. (Fried udon noodles with fried tofu). They accommodated special requests without any problems (no spicy mayo and no eggs). Everything was super tasty. Dessert baked banana. We'd love to come back ☺️

Great selection of Asian dishes (mainly Japanese) with interesting sushi roll fillings. Fans of this cuisine are in good hands here. The staff is always nice and everything is nicely decorated.

The 969 Kyoto is centrally located in Jena and offers normal indoor and outdoor seating. However, when I visited in May the outside terrace was still? dismantled and we took a seat inside. I can particularly recommend the lemonades here, they were really very good. The selection of food is also very extensive. Since I love sushi, I tried the sushi and was not disappointed. It tasted really great! However, the service is quite slow, so you should allow a little more time, even if the restaurant is not that full. Price-performance ratio is right!

Maybe the best Asian/pan-Asian restaurant in Jena. Great sushi, amazing wok nudels, very nice lemonades. All staff is always very nice and kind. They have some cheaper lunch options for working days too. Howe we, if you plan to dine in the evening, it's better to book a table in advance, especially during weekends - they are quite popular:)

What can I say, it was mega. Small restaurant in typical Asian style. Very friendly staff who are very attentive. The food, well, honestly? I have rarely eaten such delicious Asian food as I did in this small restaurant. Great selection of typical dishes with a little something extra. Simply delicious!

The shop is beautifully decorated! The food tastes great and looks great too. It was a bit crowded, but that's unavoidable given the limited space. I recommend making reservations in advance.

The food was tasty, but could have been presented better. The cocktails were very good. The service was good, but not outstanding - but completely okay for the price range. The ambience is okay. The store itself is nicely decorated, but it is very loud and therefore has a bit of a “train station hall” atmosphere.

It was definitely delicious, we were there on a Wednesday (early evening at 5 p.m.) the waiter was nice but a bit irradiated :D Unfortunately it was extremely cold in the restaurant and we were extremely cold. Sushi and summer rolls were delicious, but we've had better for the price. All in all, we would go there again (it's very close for us compared to Erfurt, for example).

We were in Kyoto for the second time today and were thrilled again. We didn't reserve a table, but we got a seat without any problem. The food came quickly, was fresh and tasty (you can watch the chefs). The service was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a pleasant little restaurant with Japanese-modern furnishings, a young, friendly team, easy card payment options and great Asian-fusion cuisine. Many vegetarian and vegan variants are possible, special requests are taken into account and the homemade lemonades are very tasty. Absolute recommendation!

969 Kyoto - a wonderful treat for all the senses. On Sunday lunchtime everything was just right: the interesting facade outside, the pleasant atmosphere inside, the employees were incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating and of course the most important thing: we were able to enjoy very good food, aromatic, fresh and finely prepared. Thank you very much for this wonderful time.

The food was very good. As expected, there was a selection of 'modern' sushi creations and starters (which is why we were mainly there). The menu also includes pasta and rice dishes (a cheaper alternative). The drinks were particularly good. There were a lot of guests there and the service was a bit slow. But the service was very nice and polite. The food is freshly prepared. It wasn't particularly comfortable. The tables are small and close together.

Stylishly furnished, while you can watch the staff prepare you can enjoy homemade, delicious drinks. Sushi was a pleasure and the staff was incredibly friendly. Always worth a visit.

Pretty restaurant with some special dishes, good quality and a special selection of drinks. In addition, the drinks are not that expensive and you can get a delicious cocktail for €5.5 - €6.9. Everything was delicious, only the sushi rice didn't stick well and fell apart easily. Will definitely come back :)

It's been a long time since I've had such good Asian food. Everything happens at lightning speed, the food is of great quality and the service is top notch. We paid around 70 euros for 2x3 courses and a drink each and it was worth every cent. Can only recommend this restaurant. You should reserve in advance.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Service u Essen ausgezeichnet. Die Toiletten sind etwas unpraktisch, sehr klein, je nur 1 vorhanden u man kann durch die Tür durchsehen.

Spontan abends gegen 20 Uhr an einem Freitag hingegangen und glücklicherweise einen Tisch zu zweit bekommen. Kellnerin war sehr freundlich. Bestellung und Servieren ging schnell. Qualität und Geschmack waren sehr gut (Edamame, Gyoza, Udonnudeln mit PankoChicken, Tempura Maki, Mom's Rolls). Zu empfehlen sind auch die hauseigenen Limonaden. Die Eis-Mochis zum Nachtisch waren nicht unser Fall. ABER, wie auch alles andere, sehr schön angerichtet und die Qualität war auch gut. Das Japanische Bier Ichiban schmeckt sehr ähnlich wie deutsches Bier.
