I went on Wednesday 01/01/25, it was me and my wife, we ordered a beef carpaccio, which arrived with grated parmesan and without truffles, a veal with tuna sauce all piled high and with pine nuts, which was not written on the menu according to a scallop with lemon, price 31 euros, arrives at the table after 50 minutes on the plate three strips of meat, one different in size from the other, I call the waiter and tell him I notice what he brought me and I ask him if they are leftovers of meat, he tells me he's going to ask in the kitchen, he comes back but doesn't give me an answer, they weren't even floured as they should be, in any case it's rubbish, my wife orders some ravioli with cherry tomatoes and burrata but the cherry tomatoes were mixed with the sauce, an incompetent service, because the table next to us was a family they left all the pizzas and the dishes were still on the table even after they had paid, they ask me if I want bread, since I have the starter I say yes, in the end it is put on my bill.. I'm sorry but I eat a thousand times better at home, my bill just drinking water for two is 110 euros.. I don't advise

What do you expect when you dine with an Instagram celebrity? No surprises, but definitely better food than the Italian restaurant around the corner. And Mamma Lina doesn't disappoint. There were 4 of us and we ate everything from starter to pasta to dessert. As a starter we had the antipasti and bruscetta. The taste of the Bruscetta stands out from other restaurants thanks to the pesto under the tomatoes and the fresh burrata cheese. The mixed antipasti were of high quality and tasted good. The three pasta dishes were also convincing. The Lasagna 2.0 and Mezze Rigate with salmon, classics on every Italian restaurant menu, were full in terms of taste and portion. With the Mezze Rigate with vodka, the special flavor of the vodka didn't come through enough. The burger for our son was also worth the money. The lava cake and the espressos rounded off the evening's taste. The service, which some reviews complain about, was also good. Overall, the evening was successful in terms of cuisine and ambience. The trip to Baden-Baden was worth it. Reservations are strongly recommended.

We ordered for delivery. I can't understand all the hype surrounding this restaurant. Unfortunately very disappointing compared to other addresses. The dough on the pizzas was really nothing. So not suitable for delivery. The octopus salad consisted only of pieces of octopus and onions with some mint leaves. To charge such a price for this is quite cheeky. Unfortunately, the taste was not something you would have to have again.

The conditions were friendly, but we had to wait longer than usual for the drinks. The price-performance ratio for the drinks didn't appeal to me. The ravioli were delicious and I enjoyed them well. But I would say the pasta is a must!!! An absolute dream. I can only recommend everyone to eat there and end the evening comfortably.

We had made a reservation for 3 people and sat in the winter tent. It was romantic, but despite the patio heaters and ovens it was a bit frosty with the outside temperature being 1 degree. We had ordered 0.5 liters of Primitivo, which is not a special wine and to charge 25 euros for it is extortionate. A bottle of water in the supermarket costs 1.29 euros here and costs 8.80 euros. Given the overpriced menu, you should think of the bread and oil is a greeting from the kitchen, but far from it, it's €0.70 per nose on the bill. If I eat here again, I know what I won't order again.

We took a nice day trip from Frankfurt to Baden-Baden, first visiting the Christmas market and then having dinner in this restaurant. We visited Baden-Baden in August and discovered a local music festival in front of Kurhaus. Mamma Lina had a stall selling handmade pizzas. Those were wonderful: soft and stretchy dough, crisp bake, strong aroma of wheat and mozarella. Simple ingredients done right. By far the best pizza we found in Germany.

Unfortunately the truffle pizza didn't taste like truffles. The truffle pasta and the pulipo, on the other hand, were very good. Unfortunately the service was subpar. We waited a long time to be able to order. And after the meal we cleared away, but we didn't ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. The restaurant could easily have made 100 euros more in sales if someone had stopped by every now and then.

Too expensive for what you get. We had two unseasoned pasta dishes with overcooked noodles. Of course you can add salt, but it lacked any taste. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice.

Here I only rate the Christmas market stand and not the restaurant itself. Drove 200 kilometers just to try out the pasta and pizza. When I got there I realized that there was no more pasta and the pizza wasn't advertised as much as it was in the Instagram ad, and I wasn't impressed with the taste. It's a shame. The staff looked like they didn't feel like working anymore and would rather smoke a cigarette in front of the counter. The only highlight were the first-class handcrafted cocktails. A bartender who knows his craft and doesn't belong there. We were served alternately by a total of 5 waitresses, 2 of whom were friendly, although it was already a work in progress to get a waitress to the table. 1.5 hours of waiting and 6 reminders about the service for a cola ordered right at the beginning are definitely too much. The prices for food and drinks would be reasonable (for Baden-Baden) if the quality was right, but the portion sizes and presentation varied from opulent and elegant to puny and were more reminiscent of a visit to a fast food chain (Frittura Mista). Some of my companions were already full after the starter, while others were already thinking about where they could eat something afterwards to fill up after the starter and main course. Some of the toppings on the pizzas were still refrigerator cold, which would be less of a problem with arugula or something similar than with the meatballs (The Bud Spencer Pizza). The seasoning of the dishes ranged from over-spiced, almost over-salted, to tasteless, as if the pasta had been cooked without salt (tartufo in parmesan). If you offer dishes in this price category with fresh truffles, the truffle should also have a certain level of quality; it is not enough to cover a food with truffles if the truffle used has no taste and is reminiscent of an apple in the mouth. Therefore I can't recommend the food or the service, only the cocktails and homemade drinks are on a level that is worth the price.

We came to this restaurant spontaneously. There was really a lot going on inside. Almost all the tables seemed to be occupied. We were asked if we wanted to sit on the winter terrace. Since it is winter, we asked what the temperatures were there. The answer was cozy. So we were taken to the winter terrace. We came to a terrace which was wrapped in winter-proof and transparent plastic sheets. There were great patio heaters everywhere, which created a really cozy atmosphere. The arrangement of the tables was stylish and attractive. Even though you were actually sitting more or less outside (covered and protected from winter), you felt comfortable despite the winter outside temperatures. A jacket was not necessary. We tried the starters, which tasted very good. The main courses were also extremely tasty. The prices are a bit on the higher end but the quality of the location and the food are worth it. We agreed that we would come back. There are hardly any parking spaces on site, but a parking garage with reasonable prices can be reached in just a 2-minute walk. We are happy to recommend this restaurant.

Ja, die Erwartung bei unsrem ersten Besuch, nach dem tollen Marketing, waren hoch. Leider wurden diese nicht wirklich erfüllt. Ja, es war viel los. Aber ich habe extra an einem Tag reserviert, für den ein Tisch drinnen frei war. Wo wurden wir platziert? Draußen, neben dem zugigen Eingang. Wir wurden dann an einen Tisch gesetzt, der noch nichtmal eingedeckt war. Nach 10 Minuten gab's die Karte, nach 30 Minuten wurde dann mal die Bestellung aufgenommen, nach weiteren 20 Minuten, die Vorspeise war schon da, kamen die Getränke. Als dann die Pizza kam, die leider lauwarm und sehr durchgeweicht war, hatten wir kein Besteck. Sorry, aber sowas erwarte ich in einem Lokal dieser Kategorie. Die Preise habe ich, auch wenn der Wein schon grenzwertig ist, akzeptiert. Wie gesagt, es war viel los. Ist aber wohl immer so. Manchmal ist vielleicht weniger mehr.

Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but for this quality it is absolutely worth it. Every now and then you can treat yourself to something, and here it's really fun! Erstklassiges Essen, tolle Weinauswahl, super Ambiente. Der Service hat leider mit der steigenden Belegung der Sitzplätze etwas nachgelassen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Mamma Lina comes across as stylish. Slightly different pizzas, with different names than usual. We didn't have a reservation and just managed to get a seat. The service remained friendly despite the busyness. We enjoyed it here. However, it is quite expensive here.

Ok... November... but there was a heated outdoor area. The service was unobtrusive and nice. Beforehand there was bread and oil to tide us over until the pizza. Pizza: the Bud Spencer... with meatballs. This was a new combination that I didn't know yet, but which I can recommend. Plus a bottle of water and a Primitivo. Gladly again, but I think 8.80 euros for a bottle of water is a bit much..

Das Essen ist super. Es gibt ausgefallenere Variationen mit den besten Zutaten. Essen kommt zügig und frisch. Geschmack 1a. Der Service nett und zuvorkommend.

Disappointing! Good food but too expensive! A little olive oil and bread presented as an appetizer but surprise charged! A dish of pasta for 25 euros and charging extra for parmesan is scandalous! The price of wine is excessive! We won't go back there again!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Mamma Lina mit sehr leckerem Essen und super nettem Personal. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

I was at Mamma Lina with 2 friends. I ordered a carpaccio as a starter and the Maradona pizza. All in all I am very satisfied. Service: The service was always very polite, you were served quickly and never had the feeling of having to wait long for anything. Even though the store was full to the brim, respect! If you wish, you can also get fresh (home-baked?) bread with olive oil at any time. Eat: The food was really very tasty. The carpaccio was very well prepared and, in addition to rocket, had truffles and a kind of truffle cream. The taste was really amazing, although I found it a bit of a shame as the beef was lost under these very strong flavors. The pizza was also my first Neapolitan pizza. The Maradona pizza is a “white” pizza with fiore di latte as a base, salsiccia, date tomatoes and mozzarella. The pizza dough was very well done and had a pleasant, chewy consistency. The Salsiccia was really tasty and pleasantly surprised me because there wasn't that much of it on it. It's amazing how much flavor something can have! However, I was a bit irritated by the cold mozzarella compared to the warm pizza. I wish it hadn't been quite so cold. The pizza was also a bit too rich for my taste. Emotionally, the amount of Fior di Latte was almost 1:1 as much as the dough. I would like to eat a “red” tomato-based pizza for comparison, but unfortunately I’ll only be in Baden-Baden for one night. In terms of price, the food is on the higher end, so you should expect to pay around €40-60 for a starter, main course, drink and dessert. Ambiance: The store makes a beautiful and well-kept impression both from the outside and from the inside. The tables are already set and everything is clean. The store's space was well used, but it was a bit too narrow for my taste. A little more equalization would be nice, but would of course reduce the number of guests in the room. It didn't bother me, it's understandable and just a personal preference. All in all, recommended and I would like to try other pizzas or other dishes if possible!

My compliments to the whole team! Whether it was the welcome, the room service, the cuisine, the cocktails, everything was really great! The team is multilingual and this was useful to us as we were not fluent in German. We had just arrived, were tired, it was the first restaurant near our accommodation, and presto, what a great taste experience to start our stay! A quality of dishes and pizzas that I find unrivaled in France and Italy (where we came from). We were so surprised to taste such high quality Italian food in Germany! And I can’t recommend the cocktails enough!!!!! A delight: extremely well made, balanced, tasty, a PLEASURE. Special mention for the Raspberry lady. Well done !

On the occasion of my mother's birthday, we chose the Mamma Lina in Baden Baden based on several recommendations and were not disappointed. We had our little daughter with us who is seven months old. We were immediately offered a high chair and a place for our stroller. As soon as we arrived, they made sure that we had a spacious area with a bench. The food was also absolutely a 12/10! Both the pizza and the pasta were excellent! Everything at a very high level of quality! Requests were also addressed individually and there were many alternatives for vegetarians. We were even surprised with a very special dessert for our birthday :-) We will definitely come back and thank you for this wonderful day today! :-))

All in all, the food was good and came relatively quickly, but you feel a bit rushed and the atmosphere isn't really cozy. The reason for this is that you sit relatively close to your neighbor and if you sit opposite the kitchen you smell like grease. I can't really understand why you don't invest in a proper extraction system, since you can already see the haze in the LED spotlights. The portions could be a little larger given the high prices.

Es war rundum ein sehr schöner Abend. Bei der Reservierung wurde vermerkt, dass es sich um ein Geburtstagsessen handelt. Man wurde am Tisch mit einer Glückwunschkarte auch direkt daran erinnert, ebenso vom Personal. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, die Getränke wurden schnell serviert und obwohl der Laden ausgebucht war, hatte man als Gast nicht das Gefühl bekommen, dass es stressig ist. Über das Essen muss man nicht viele Worten verlieren, kurz: fabelhaft. Wir hatten das Vitello, eine Pizza und das Saltimbocca. Alles sehr zu empfehlen! Der Service war sehr freundlich und unglaublich aufmerksam, man fühlte sich von Anfang an herzlichst willkommen. Wer in der Gegend ist und die Möglichkeit hat dort einen Abend zu verbringen sollte sich das auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen.
