Very nice location but unfortunately it's not worth the price. The food is okay, at least nothing special or a 10/10, more like a 4/10. A cockroach crawled on my pizza so I gave the pizza back. They said they would make me a new one, but I don't think so because the second pizza was very cold. The employee didn't speak good German and didn't even know what I was talking about even though I showed him the live cockroach. There was no apology, nothing. The guests who ate with me weren't too impressed with the food either, but they're welcome to see for themselves. For me, however, it was the last visit.

Unfortunately, the lasagne was a bit too little and a bit dry for me. Nice location. Priced a little higher.

The pasta with truffle was, as you can imagine, completely truffle-free. We will not be coming back and cannot recommend it.

The waiter and bartender were rude. We felt rushed. Food was very good though.

Ate seafood pizza, got cramps at night and then vomited. Not a good sign. In my opinion, the pizza dough is as tough as "rubber" and the pizza could have been hotter. I almost burned my mouth on the preheated espresso cup. Service is courteous but clearing up immediately after the meal makes everything a bit uncomfortable and hectic. I heard that this pizzeria was good so we drove an extra 20 km there. Mistake. A reception at the door who assigns the table, service that is there straight away and asks whether we know what we want, every employee greets the guests in a friendly manner does not make a good pizzeria. In my/our opinion this can be expanded.

Unfortunately, on the anniversary, we were asked to leave after an hour. Would have liked to have had dessert. Won't come anymore. The food was delicious but too expensive with this service. Very unfortunate.

I was here with my wife. A work colleague recommended Mamma Lina to me. You notice immediately. A lot of emphasis is placed on service here. In my opinion the prices are okay. We had bruschetta. 1 serving is enough for two people and is highly recommended. My wife had spaghetti gamberoni and I had the 87 citizen with sweet potato fries. A tiramisu for dessert. I think we will be very happy to come back.

The prices are going to make you feel bad... well we'll save ourselves the Instahype... I'd rather stick with L'Osteria... the gas is too bad for me... the reviews some of them aren't a burner either.....

The atmosphere is really nice, but we were very disappointed with the food. The octopus salad to start was really good. The lasagne that followed was initially very cold, but when we got it back, unfortunately it had nothing to do with the quality of the first lasagna. The pizza was also only lukewarm and had very few toppings for the price. Aperol had to be reordered twice because it didn't arrive. Unfortunately, we had very high expectations due to the Instagram and TikTok appearance and were unfortunately a little disappointed.

In itself a nice restaurant, you can tell that all the ingredients are very fresh, the starters were all very good and the pizza was ok too. The vongole spaghetti and the frutti di mare were nothing earth-shattering for us, the vongole was missing garlic and maybe a little white wine, so that's just it But the service was great and totally attentive

The pizza was really well prepared and delicious. Unfortunately the service was inattentive and slow. Maybe it would be better to have fewer tables occupied... unfortunately we won't be coming back.

First of all, I have to say I have nothing to complain about in terms of taste. But I can't say the same for the service. First of all, we had to wait forever for our food to even come. Secondly, we accidentally ordered a burger with bacon (missed on the menu) which we didn't want to eat. We asked the waiter to bring us a new burger and were willing to pay for the wrong burger we ordered. He then tried to give us the burger. He was really pushy and said we should give it to a homeless person at the train station and film it and share it on Instagram. What kind of statements are these? That's not how you talk to customers. We would have paid for the burger either way. Even if we didn't take them with us. And by the way, I have to say I would have wished for a different approach. At least that you make more effort so that the customer is at least happy and satisfied. In the end we took the burgers with us and threw them in the bin. I have to say we were really disappointed this time and I don't think we'll ever go there again.

The food is without question worth 5 stars. The pizzas were really great - a big compliment to the kitchen😊 There was definitely still room for improvement in terms of service, at least during our visit. After arriving, we were quickly asked if we would like to order water, bread and oil. We said yes to both. The water came immediately. Unfortunately the bread and oil were forgotten. We ordered an aperitif. Unfortunately, one person is allergic to mint, which is why she stated when ordering that the drink should be served WITHOUT mint. The waiter put down a mint drink when serving and said that he had passed it on but that it had been forgotten. Mistakes happen, no question, but giving the person the drink without apologizing and without asking if it's still right for them shouldn't be part of the restaurant's standards, right? When our pizzas were brought by another waitress, we ordered the bread and oil. This was also communicated to our responsible waiter. We were not asked once during our stay if we would like something to drink or dessert/coffee. At some point we asked for the bill. Then another waitress came and offered us a limoncello because we had a birthday child at the table. This was nice, no question. However, he said that it is usually the case that the birthday child is offered a dessert, but this was forgotten and we had already requested the bill. The birthday child then decided on the limoncello. The oil and bread we ordered were of course listed on the invoice. We constructively communicated our criticism to the service person who was actually responsible. But he couldn't accept it at all and kept looking for excuses. We thought this was such a shame because the points listed certainly don't meet your restaurant's standards, right? It's a real shame because this special evening simply lost its shine 🙁

I just wanted some noodles. After 25 minutes I asked and was told I had forgotten even though there were only two further gestures. Another 20 minutes. Total 45min. Dan Kamm different noodle than I ordered and really totally mismatched. And maybe a handful. So I ask again and I'm told oh wrong, sorry and laugh slyly. It was only then that I understood that I was being treated disrespectfully here. Now comes the best. The three of them come to me and say 5 minutes. I think again maybe I'm wrong. The noodles came after 15 minutes, a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes. And they wanted me to focus on someone else. table sat down. Where it was totally dirty. When I said it was dirty here and asked the table to go over it. Did you just walk away? That's enough for me, I thought. Nevertheless, I looked at the pasta and it was spaghetti with a lot of garlic - I say no garlic in advance. There comes service with a spoon in hand and stroking it with the other hand. I just thought to myself that these aren't good people here. I paid at the cash register so that I wouldn't have to worry any further. I advise everyone Up. To go there. It's just about selling alcohol to certain customers. In an hour several people came who only drank alcohol. And the staff drinks with me. I saw it all. And I regret not going to the health department.

***Top Italian with a fine blade and good service*** I was here in Baden-Baden on business and went to the Italian restaurant nearby based on the hotel's recommendation - and I didn't regret it. The terrace was good, filled with guests and has a nice ambience. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ate spaghetti carbonara and a tiramisu for dessert. Both were of excellent quality and were brought to the table relatively quickly. The prices in the restaurant are a bit high, but also justified. Clear recommendation👍😋

Hi Because of the Instahype that I like to follow, we drove 6 hours to Baden Baden. The table was pre-booked. When we arrived there, we were greeted warmly and my wife's jacket was taken away. Then we went to our table, where we were immediately given a menu. Until then everything is fine. Afterwards it seemed to us that no one was responsible for our table. There was no drinks menu, so I had to take care of it myself. We ordered a bottle of wine, not cheap but very tasty. Then we continued with the appetizers. There was antipasti and octopus salad, which tasted very good. I forgot, before that we got delicious olive oil and stone oven bread. Until then, delicious and the service, well. Now the table next to us got pizza which was returned because it was cold. We thought nothing of it. So we also ordered pizza and pasta. This was also cold and the pasta was also dry because there was no sauce. This scenario also played out at the next table. This pizza was also returned. Our conclusion: it's great until the starter, then subterranean. Designed for mass only. Tables tables.... Farewell so-so... We looked for a jacket from the cloakroom and left this restaurant. We won't be coming back.

Update on October 6th, 2024: Just dropped by again without a reservation and was greeted in a friendly manner. I was actually able to get a small table and enjoy great food and excellent service again! Thank you! I'm currently sitting here on the terrace and waiting for my passengers (taxi) to return home from the festival hall (right next door). My waiting time was made particularly pleasant by visiting here: great food with really nice and pleasantly courteous service, which was also top notch. At neighboring tables I was also able to observe that the place is also extremely child-friendly. Top address, keep it up!

We visited Mamma Lina this evening. I found it really very thoughtful that we were allowed to decide, depending on our needs, whether we wanted to sit in the restaurant or in the outdoor area. The outdoor area is really incredibly cozy and equipped with many heat sources. We were very well looked after the entire evening. The service was attentive and very friendly. The food was really very good throughout. We had Frittura Mista first and then pasta and pizza. Both were really very tasty, we were particularly enthusiastic about the pizza, because the dough simply has to taste good without any toppings and the necessary salt should not be missing and that was exactly the case here 👌🏼 Basically we planned to eat the lobster for two, but unfortunately it wasn't available. Too bad. For dessert there was tiramisu and panna cotta. Both really very tasty and well prepared. All in all a great evening, thank you very much ✨

Delicious :) Update after 2 years: It's still tasty, the place is nice and so on. BUT, if you want to deliver to your home, the minimum order value is now almost twice as high as before. In addition, the edge of the pizzas has become 10 times thicker, so the edge is now as wide as the base/topping - and the pictures of the pizzas on the side are still the same as before. The pizzas still taste good, but if the pizza soon only consists of the crust, then of course that's not at all clear and it's already way too much and a big/disappointing negative point.

It wasn't our first time there and so far we've been impressed by the food and cocktails - our last visit was about a year ago. This is how it was now: We made reservations for inside and arrived on time. After waiting 4 minutes at the entrance until we were brought to the table, it became uncomfortable and very crowded there due to the large number of people also waiting. We were then led through the entire restaurant and shown into a tent outside. We sat there right next to the tent tarpaulin and it was uncomfortably cold. The heaters were too far away and the existing blankets didn't help cover up the discomfort. The service staff was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed to us. The food came in a timely manner. The parmesan wheel pasta for €26 was al dente but completely tasteless (unlike the last visit). Even with the simple burger for €18, the taste didn't reach the plate. The doneness of the patty was good, but unfortunately it didn't taste like anything. We asked for salt and pepper to improve it. At the same time we ordered a cocktail, which unfortunately never found its way to our table. The only pleasant thing was that the cocktail wasn't on the bill either. At the end we also gave feedback that the taste of the food was “bland”. Our conclusion: Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all this time. The prices are in a different league compared to the food. We're not going there anymore for now.

Had dinner there with a larger group on a Saturday evening. We had reserved, but still had to wait about 15 minutes until the table was free. So far no problem. Service was overall very nice and accommodating. A bit too aggressive in my taste when it comes to offering additional dishes apart from the main order. Ambience also pleasant. Unfortunately the food was a complete disappointment. The prices are fundamentally set very high. You definitely pay for the service and ambience. I thought to myself "Come on, for this price it will definitely be of good quality". I paid €19 for my pizza. The taste was nothing special at all. Not in terms of quantity either. Would give her a 3/10. A Gustavo Gusto TK pizza makes me 100x more satisfied. But what was an absolute disgrace was the Caesar salad. 20€ for a few green leaves and a presumably frozen chicken? This is pure rip-off and cannot be justified with any argument. Drinks are also expensive as hell. I will not visit this store again.

Updating review below... went back for lunch to give them another try since the pizza coming out of the kitchen looked good. And it was! Service was way better as well. Would definitely recommend for pizza. Review below still stands for the experience we had at dinner and with the pasta. Just had dinner here after reading great reviews. We both felt like it was mediocre at best. Our server wasn't friendly, engaging, or service oriented at all. Pre dinner drinks were good. We ordered lasagna and carbonara. Both were so so and neither were hot. More like just warmer than room temp. The wine we ordered was good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was busy and enjoyable. Didn't have dessert as we were just done and ready to go after the mediocre meal. Pizza coming out of the oven looked good and we wished we'd ordered that. No one spoke to us when we left. Not sure we'd go back. There are way too many other options to try.

Waited 40 minutes despite a reserved table. The outside area is actually nice, but far too full of tables, you get something like a canteen feeling. It's no problem that the waiter is stressed when the place is full, but a smile doesn't hurt, so friendliness was kept within limits. Everything would be fine if the food had been good. At a relatively “expensive” Italian restaurant they charge money for bread with olive oil, I beg you, absolutely ridiculous. Then the amount, you charge 22 euros for a carbonara and you get a portion size that is absolutely ridiculous. A swimming pool fries makes me feel fuller, it's a complete rip-off and one of the worst I've ever eaten. Cheese was lumpy again, I felt like there was no pepper and the pasta wasn't even al dente. So for me it's an absolutely overhyped Instagram store, not recommended!

After about 2 hours we were brought the bill and asked to leave as the table was given away 2-3 times in the evening. Disgraceful, especially since the food only came after 1.5 hours and we didn't even have time for dessert. Before the actual meal you can order bread with olive oil, which costs €0.70. Given the price level of the food and drinks, a little bread and oil is part of the service. The seating is also so narrow that any privacy is lost. That was our last visit.

It was soooo delicious!!! We had a really nice evening and were able to sit comfortably in the winter garden. I ate the best truffle pasta here that I have ever tried in Germany. I would love to spend a whole day trying out the entire menu, the other dishes that were served around us also looked incredibly good. Service was also great, we will definitely come back even though we unfortunately don't live right around the corner :) Thank you dear Mamma Lina team for the great evening<3

Perfect for anyone who can't decide!! Unfortunately I don't know the name of the waitress, but kudos to her!! I can highly recommend the restaurant!

I had a delicious pizza pistacchio with a refreshing basil drink. The pizza base is thin and the edges are nice and fluffy. Real Italian pizza is served here. The ambience is very inviting and the view of the park gives that certain something. Service is quick and very friendly. I have rarely seen such a great Italian restaurant with a great view of the countryside. I can recommend it to everyone! Top!

upon arrival when you try to call a waiter to tell them about your reservation, he walks past and ignores you. we waited 1 hour 40 minutes for two dishes, during this time all the waiters passed by and gave no information, didn't even look at whether you were served or not. 3 tables were served so they arrived well after us (of course tables in Gucci Louis Vuitton). As said, if you don't come with the big Lambo and if you don't order €200 worth of wine and food, we'll quickly ghost you. Then if you don't speak German you get a breath in your face and a grimace. Good food but you leave angry because the service is terrible and very unfriendly, bordering on decriminatory.

Wie immer war alles super!! Essen auf einem sehr guten Niveau, Außenlocation gemütlich wie immer. Leider war der Service am Anfang lustlos und unaufmerksam. (Junge Frau mit braunen Haaren und langen roten Fingernägeln). David hat danach unseren Tisch übernommen und schon war die Stimmung wieder aufgelockerter-er hat sich auch gleich mit unserem Sohn beschäftigt und zum Lachen gebracht. Toller Mitarbeiter!!!

Salted prices (pizza €20-24), mineral water €8.80 for 0.75l. That is simply too expensive even for Baden Baden! At the same time, the waiting times for food are outrageous at 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, given these conditions, no recommendation anymore...

Great customer service provided by the entire staff. The food was so good we went two nights in a row. The menu has something for everyone and the outdoor area is perfect for couples our groups. Make sure to try the bread and olive oil!

The pizzas were absolutely amazing, so actually a 5 out of 5. You're happy to pay €24 for the pizza. Unfortunately, we had to accept discounts when it came to service and, in my opinion, what was absolutely unacceptable was the price of water. €8.80 for a 0.75l bottle? Sorry but that's outrageous.

Es war grandios wie immer. Wir kommen aus dem Saarland und das Mamma Lina ist unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Auch unsere Freunde, die zum ersten Mal dort waren, waren total begeistert. Es war uns ein Fest.

The service is very courteous - you feel seen. The waitress accompanied us throughout the evening and the half-empty water glass was refilled straight away so that we didn't have to do it ourselves. The drinks are very well made and therefore taste very good. The antipasti starter tastes like in Italy, and the pizzas are also recommended. You can definitely taste the good quality of the seafood pizza. If you want to have a nice, high-class evening, then I can recommend 87 Mamma Lina.

Huge disappointment Instagram videos make you want to try it. Once there, what a disappointment…. Failed carb pasta with burnt bacon, almost no sauce. Pasta with ordinary vodka, very little spicy, not much taste. I asked for one of the dishes featured on Insta and was told that it is only on the menu when the chef is there.... The service is quite unfriendly. You have to ask for things several times before it happens too late. The wine never arrived, the parmesan left at the end after several requests… It's not worth it

This evening I had dinner at Mammalina with a friend for a long time. Prices are reasonable, but as we all know, you don't save on good food - at least I do. I ordered the salad with prawns for €22. As you can see in the picture, there were exactly 3 prawns on it and I have to lie, 15 leaves of lettuce? Ah and 2 small pieces of avocado. The taste was ok, nothing special... I definitely had to go out to eat afterwards. The 0.7l water for €8.80 and the bread offered in advance for €0.70 (not much but it's the principle) are prices that are not appropriate. I'm really speechless... However, service was very good, despite everything I will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Kellner hat kein Brot gebracht. Erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen wurde es gebracht. Und dies ernst nach der Hauptspeise. Nudeln waren nicht durch. 30€ die nicht richtig gekocht wurden, vielen Dank für das super schlechte Essen. Sowie die Pizza hat einen gigantischen Rand der so groß wie die Stirn des ein oder anderen Mitarbeiters ist. Das Stimmung wurde deutlich von den ganzen schreienden Kindern angehoben. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es auch keine Preisangabe für das am Anfang angebotene Wasser. Sowie das Brot. 60+€ für 80gramm Nudeln und eine Pizza mit mehr Rand als Belag sowie eine Flasche 0,75l Wasser ist ein wahrliches Genuss Erlebnis. Also die endgültige Bewertung ist eindeutig: 1/10 - die Skala wurde auf 10 vergrößert da 5 nicht die Genauigkeit des Erlebnisses darstellen kann. Viele Grüße Dr. Bobby Ralf

But I decided to share my experience here because I didn't agree with how my last restaurant visit with you went. Last Sunday we decided to reserve a table for two people. We drove a total of 160km! Mentioned that in passing! We were sent through the restaurant to the outside area, where another waiter welcomed us and then showed us to our seat. We queued and waited briefly and were then escorted to a two table on the terrace. What we really noticed this time and our impression is that the waiters behave like pop stars because of your Instagram fame. All noses were up, no smiles on their faces. No heart or love for the guest and quite stiff. I ordered the Sophia Loren pizza and my husband ordered pasta with ragout and a salad first. In fact, this time the food wasn't quite as good as we were used to. The pizza was pretty dry, and a mega black burnt circle on the edge. But it wasn't that bad and we ate it. There are just stressful days. But yes, the guest still has to pay dearly for it, stressful days or not. Cash in! At some point the plates were cleared away again without heart or charm. And then we were left alone. I couldn't order any more wine, coffee, or dessert. We would have liked to order something else. No active sales. Nobody came. And at some point I don't feel like it anymore. Our friends (5 of us!) met by chance and the same thing happened. No more drinking, dessert, coffee, etc. The way to the toilet? Interesting, when you go to the toilet the waiter/waitress looks at you quite unfriendly. I know how difficult the job is. But you don't have to look at the guest so harshly and knock them over with the tray. You are a host and you get paid for it!!! We politely said goodbye and said goodbye to the boss's brother!!! He said a quick goodbye and continued to focus on his cell phone (not even looking at us) He seemed to be having trouble with a video (probably for IG?) You could hear it because he was talking about it. That was the absolute peak! When social media or generally the cell phone in front of the paying guest is more important. Incomprehensible! Instagram and reality? Oh well. Reality: no farewell as it should be. The boss himself wasn't there that evening! For this arrogance that spread like a film over all the waiters and bosses of the family, here is now a rating! This showed us all again how fake the social media world is. Maybe you only get attention when you pull out the black Amex, order champagne or are a celebrity. Who knows? Unfortunately we won't be coming any more for now. We felt strange, lost and inferior! This time I just didn't feel comfortable. Sorry, but that was our experience with you! My tip would be to simply reflect on the fact that people visit you and sometimes travel distances and spend a lot of money! Not a given these days! The guest definitely doesn't deserve that. But maybe it was just THAT Sunday last week. Who knows?

Unfortunately it was nothing. Eternal waiting times (2 hours for the main course) and the quality wasn't really good either. Had various starters and pasta as a main course. None really convinced us. Service seemed overwhelmed and helpless after our feedback, Lots of looks and little taste...unfortunately I can't recommend it.

We ordered pizza. The pizza was very small for the price and way too salty. We were hoping for something particularly tasty but were unfortunately disappointed. Except for the high salt content, the pizza was bland. The service was nice and quick, the restaurant outside was very nice. But I wouldn't come again for the service.
