What can I say? The calculation for oil and bread, well. At the beginning the boss served and it was absolutely great. Unfortunately, that has diminished greatly. Food was ok and for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 tiramisu, 2 bottles of water and 1 small special almost 130 euros. You should also be able to expect something. I don't know if we would go again. Had the feeling no wine no espresso the nerves. It's a shame we had very high expectations and really enjoy going out and eating out a lot.

Very good restaurant, very good pizza, fast service, not very bad atmosphere, but the only thing is that a cheesecake is a bit expensive at €15 even though we see it's not a homemade cheesecake and it was supposed to be a pistachio one and in the end there was just a drizzle of pistachio coulis otherwise the rest was good.

The food at Mamma Lina tasted really good - the quality of the ingredients is high and the preparation was also convincing. The service was very pleasant: the waiters were attentive, friendly and always tried to ensure that the guests had a nice evening. The ambience is stylish and invites you to linger. However, in our opinion the price-performance ratio is no longer balanced. A pizza in the range of 19 to 24 euros is quite ambitious even for a more upscale restaurant - especially considering that prices have been significantly lower in the past. The drink prices, for example over 13 euros for a Limoncello Spritz, are also well above average for a pizzeria. The portions could also be a little larger - you would expect a little more in this price category, especially for the main courses. Overall, a nice evening with good food and very friendly service, but a little more restraint when it comes to pricing would be desirable.

Truffle pasta definitely overrated.

Food was great, but you pay a good price for a pizza (>19€). Sometimes you wait too long until you get a card or are noticed. In the end, the service becomes sloppy if the tip doesn't seem to be what you would like. Price performance just doesn't match again... And you pay 80 cents per person for the bread without having ordered anything and assuming that it is simply a nice gesture from the house.

We had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our starter and then another almost 1 hour for the main course. The food was delicious, but the price was below ground. Three small bruschettas cost 20 euros, olive oil and bread are charged extra without comment and a bottle of water costs 9 (!!!) euros. When the head waiter spoke to him, he initially reacted angrily and warned me not to let him finish. After mentioning possible bad reviews, he then bought us espresso martinis. That was nice, but unfortunately it couldn't really make up for our disappointment.

Very nice location inside and out, nice service, everything went quickly and attentively. It was really tasty but that's to be expected given the prices. I've eaten better Italian food and would have preferred Italian classics (fish and meat) or something special on the menu instead of burgers. The dishes are very social media hip and tailored to the margin rather than being technically complex. But delicious!

Apart from the outstanding food, the service here is truly world class. From wine recommendations to individual dish combinations, we were really more than satisfied. We will definitely come back next time we visit Baden Baden. BRAVO!

Unfortunately very disappointing. The gentlemen at the entrance and bar are simply unfriendly and unwelcoming! Our waitress, on the other hand, was very nice. Starter 20€ for what you see in the picture it's really a joke wow. I was really looking forward to the pasta, the vodka pasta was good, but the prawns were okay but nothing special. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is 0.

A few weeks ago we came all the way from Saarland just for pizza and pasta. I got a taste for it because of social media. And I have no regrets. Unusual recipes, great toppings on the pizza and very professional service. Our toddler son was also taken into consideration. An absolute recommendation. The fact that the boss took a moment to talk to me and sign my cookbooks rounded off the trip perfectly. Mille Gracie! Forza Napoli!

Food was awesome. I came from Heidelberg just for that reason. Service was very bad. Although there wasn't much going on, we had to wait 20 minutes to have our first drink order taken, despite multiple requests. It was very hot today and we were thirsty. We felt ignored as others who came after us were given priority. We had to constantly wait for any further orders and payments and were never asked. It was 1:30 p.m. and not too busy. So incomprehensible. Unfortunately, service greatly detracts from the brilliant food. I would recommend the bosses to train the service staff. At no time did I feel welcome. Maybe we were just unlucky. The food is definitely awesome and recommended.

Super.. I enjoyed 2 cocktails, I enjoyed the truffle paste.. and I can say - wow... I have been and eaten in top Italian places in Naples, Sardinia, etc... but this is something unique, because the view of a green garden park in the light of lamps adds 1000%+ romance to the food.. I read some reviews and I can say to those who write negative complaints- Go to McDonald's or Kfc, buy and heat frozen pizzas and pasta...and enjoy the romance at home.. It's great here

The food was very good, great restaurant. We sat outside, tent and heater, but still very nice atmosphere. A very warm welcome… unfortunately the service at the table wasn’t that good. Food very tasty traditional Italian. Service (the earlier person at the table) was very friendly and competent, the later people, as we approached the end of our 2-hour time slot, appeared unexpectedly authoritarian. We were a large family with an elderly disabled person, and leaving the table on time was not a problem. I would recommend coming around 9 p.m. because then you won't be complimented.

We were there on Saturday evening. We were served at the table after about 20 minutes of waiting. For a bread basket and olive oil, €1.60 will be charged without notification. The bread was cut by the waiter with his bare hands after clearing away used glasses and collecting others. 2 pizzas arrived a bit burnt after 40 minutes of waiting. Unfortunately, the tomato sugo was totally watery, which meant the pizza base was completely soaked. Another 30 minutes waiting time to be able to pay after telling the waiter you wanted to pay. All this for a proud price of €19.00 per pizza. No, I wouldn't recommend it. There are other pizzarias that prepare the food with love and serve their guests.

With a reservation you were seated on the terrace in the evening when it was 12 degrees... incomprehensible to me. After some back and forth we were seated inside after 25 minutes. The food was ok, but the service experience was unfortunately very unpleasant. When you make a reservation you should assume you can get a table in the restaurant and not outside, or at least be informed about it.

This is a decent Italian restaurant very near the concert hall, so convenient for before or after the concert. It was busy, but the noise level was acceptable. Very nice service. The food was very good if not great ….sauces lacked a little bit of complexity, but it was affordable for the location and the quantity of food. I would return.

We came to Mamma Lina with great expectations. Social media promised a lot, but unfortunately the reality was different. There's nothing wrong with the food, but you expect different service in a place like this, which was really disappointing. I can't recommend it. The pizza we ordered was lukewarm and the taste wasn't great, not to mention the price. The salad was advertised as a variety of lettuces. In reality it was 1 leaf lettuce in red and green with a few cocktail tomatoes and peanuts that were not wanted. For dessert, a small chocolate thaler with light!!! liquid core for 15€. Prices in general are not justified for such poor performance. I definitely won't visit again, let alone recommend it to others.

We went to Mammalina for the first time today. We were really looking forward to it and came especially from MZ. We were welcomed very friendly and we didn't miss anything. We had a walking child with us and were immediately offered help. As expected, the food was very good and we were also immediately told what was available for children. This was our second time in the restaurant. The second experience was a disappointment in terms of service. There are no pepper and salt mills on the tables. Dressing for the salad is served in micro doses in the smallest bowls. Dishes are left for a long time until someone comes to clear them away. Great quality food and a fab atmosphere. Staff all spoke English (thankfully!) - and there was a really nice vibe to the place. We ordered 2x pizzas and a carbonara. All were delicious with fresh ingredients thronughout. The only negative was service was a tad slow. That said, it was a busy Saturday evening and the staff were clearly working hard to keep up. It didn't detract from the experience - so 5 stars from us!... Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend the Los Muertos aperitivo.

The visit to 87 mammalina was great. The starter, the main course and the little surprise at the end, a lovingly prepared tiramisu, were the moment and highlight of our week. I would like to mention that the service team was extremely competent despite their young age. We look forward to another visit and until then we wish you all the best.

Pizza tasted in the upper third but wasn't the best I've ever eaten. But the most expensive! Service was mediocre, 2 drinks ordered and 1 food ordered were forgotten (that can happen). In addition, the service wasn't the fastest either. Overall, the stay was OK, but I will choose a different restaurant the next time I visit Baden Baden.

Waiting times for drinks were over 20 minutes, the oil and bread were very tasty, but for the table next to them they had more bread and there were 2 fewer people. already strange. My starter was very tasty, the pizza wasn't what we had promised. Very muddy inside, upon request. This is how she belongs….. Prices are very high, bottle of water 9.50 euros. So all 6 people weren't really happy. You wouldn't necessarily have expected a reserved table outside in the March evening. I had to leave my coat on all evening and no heaters helped.

The pizza was very tasty and the service was very good, but the prices are very high and the ambience doesn't really match the prices advertised. The pizzas on the menu could also be described a little better and especially in German, especially if you don't speak Italian or don't know your way around, you don't really know what you're getting. The facility has a great concept, it runs like a common thread. From the furnishings, the pillows, the napkins to the dishes presented. The service seemed very professional and was super friendly. The food was simply delicious and we will definitely come back to try more dishes from the menu. The boss welcomes and says goodbye to his guests at the entrance and has a very friendly way of dealing with his guests. The hype is absolutely justified.

Given the reputation of the restaurant, we had high hopes, but all in all it was just okay. The carbonara tasted very good, as did the other pasta dish. However, the carbonara was only lukewarm. It's a shame at a price of 22.00 euros. We also asked for some parmesan, which wasn't included in the other pasta dish. It wasn't mentioned here that the parmesan was 1.50 euros! costs extra. The bottle of water cost an incredible 9.10 euros. Far too expensive in my opinion. The service is great, everyone is extremely friendly and really on their toes. Overall everything was okay, but the price-performance ratio just wasn't quite right for me and I expected a lot more.

Pizzas are delicious. The pizza dough is light and clearly from long fermentation process, just as in good italian pizzas. The ambience outside is super nice, specially in sunny days. Service was correct and prices are high, like in most restaurants in Baden Baden…

Embarrassing, don't you think? Nevertheless, I'm happy to take the time and respond to Google's email in detail so that my review remains valid. The number of likes not only makes me feel dissatisfied with negative reviews that have been reported to me. I would recommend everyone to just avoid such a store. Unfortunately my experience was out of date. The bread was hard to bite, the crust was so hard. Every baked roll is better. We were made to wait 45 minutes for our main course. When I asked politely (!) after 35 minutes, “When can we expect the pizza?”, I received a loud, stroppy answer: “Yes, you've only had a starter, just be patient, okay?!”. Haven't they been trained here on how to deal with customers? For a restaurant in a not so low price segment, you at least expect friendliness, just so that you as a customer feel comfortable, enjoy sitting at the table and can enjoy the ambience. In other restaurants in this price range, people carefully monitor when the starter has been eaten and then the main course is served. Here we waited hungry for the main course for a whole 3/4 hour and were then pampered. Not to mention, the appetizer was a touch of nothing, dead-fried in hard breading for an extremely hefty sum. One star for the pizza. But I can also get it elsewhere in a feel-good atmosphere.

Was buzzing. Staff attentive and food was faultless. Bruschetta and Arancini balls to start with Maradona pizza and carbonara to share. Definitely need to book though

So that wasn't a good evening. Three pasta dishes had too much pepper and too little salt. The porcini pasta was completely tasteless. We also ordered an antipasti plate (€17 according to the menu) and in the end we were charged €30. When we asked, we were told that they had made a larger plate, but no one had ordered it and it was too much because many people didn't want to eat the starter. Overall, pretty frustrating evening.

So my pizza tasted good but the base wasn't for me. The lasagne and side salad tasted very good. You just have to try it. What bothered me was no drinks menu for beer, soda, non-alcoholic drinks. Prices not known. Only wine list. Sitting with heaters that actually heat well. If you sit on the outside it can be a bit drafty.

Extremely disappointed following our reservation last night. We knew the "old" Mamma Lina and were happy to come back after many years. Huge disappointment! “Modern” decoration and atmosphere, but impersonal, without character and dark. Exorbitant prices for quality, tasteless service. Our table was also in the middle of a draft which made our experience even worse.

The most overrated restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. I don't understand the good reviews, I imagine that what is offered here is something very good considering German gastronomy. I don't know if the noodles are artisanal but they were just right, in my case a decent amount with well cooked meat that was nicely crumbled. But someone in the kitchen confused the meaning of flavor with the meaning of too much salt, a common mistake but unbearable at such high prices for a pasta you can make at home. The desserts were decent, although nothing notable other than the sugar content, a bit sweet, I don't know if they were homemade. Good presentation, although I don't know if mine fell apart or if someone tried to make a failed innovative design. The water? It must come from the spring in the palace of the Greek gods. Either that or it's a scam. By the way, maybe it's a personal opinion, I do something that 99% of customers don't do. Check the dishwasher, if it is not maintained, the smell may stick to the glasses (bad smell). The service saved the business, but the space is very narrow, you can't speak in a polite tone because so many people are sitting in such a small space, you almost had to share the table with the neighbors. The tables at McDonald's are better arranged and have more space. In short, very high prices for the quality they offer in many ways. It gives the impression that you are trying to pretend to be more than what you are. I hope this review helps improve the quality of the restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day and I'm sorry to say I was disappointed. The food was rather tasteless and was not convincing in any way. The service was also unfriendly and made the overall impression even worse. After two hours we were asked to vacate our table because other guests were already waiting - an unpleasant situation. The ambience was nice, but unfortunately very loud, making relaxed conversation almost impossible. Considering the mediocre food and unfriendly service, I found the price-performance ratio to be way too high. I really can't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant and probably won't visit it again.

The two of us were there spontaneously at 1:30 p.m. during the week. There were only two other guests at another table in the restaurant at the time. The atmosphere is really nice, modern and appealing. The waiter seated us and offered us a bottle of water in advance, which we gladly accepted. This happened before we could even take a look at the drinks menu, which annoyed us afterwards because we certainly wouldn't have paid 8.80 euros for a bottle of room-temperature Aqua Panna that was already prepared at the counter. Unfortunately, we didn't get a lunch menu either, so the quick bottle of water in advance was more important. Prices are not Napoli, but Venice. I'm happy to pay for good quality that you can actually taste here compared to other pizzerias, but I still think the price is way too high. We would have liked to have had a tiramisu as an Italian dessert classic at the end, but for 15 euros per portion, I was speechless. Overall, the concept may be right, Instagram appearance etc., but the prices are more for a noble Italian restaurant, but the food is not, just better quality.

The service was great! We've eaten there twice now and unfortunately we weren't particularly impressed twice! Because of the videos on Instagram we thought we'd stop by, but we were really disappointed! The taste is ok but serving a handful of pasta with 4 prawns for €25 is quite a word! Gamberonis weren't they rather small shrimps... unfortunately the pizza was also soggy and slightly burnt from the bottom... a shame 3 dishes 4 small drinks for 85€ a lot for what was served.

It was our first time in Baden Baden for several days and we chose the restaurant because it was close to the hotel. In our opinion, from the moment you enter the restaurant everything is just right, very friendly welcome, wonderful atmosphere, attentive and courteous staff and probably the most important thing: a super delicious meal. Pizza on the first day, both pasta and pasta for my wife on the second day. Each meal is delicious in its own right. Judging by the number of visitors, it has long been known as an insider tip in Baden-Baden. So be sure to reserve a table in advance. We've been to many restaurants in Germany, but 87 Mamma Lina is probably one of the best we've ever gotten to know.

Very good meal, despite their lack of heat... the prices are high but despite that the service is not impeccable, we did not have bread or a carafe of water, we were cleared without giving us the card for a possible dessert, after 20 minutes of waiting we decided to pay and leave, too bad.

Wow! Very enjoyable and the food was delicious. Customer service was excellent and very welcoming. We stayed across the street so I can’t speak to parking and I would definitely recommend calling for a reservation. The lasagne was incredible, no kidding. The drinks were excellent, especially the espresso martini. They were welcoming to our small dog as well. Highly recommend!

I ordered a table for 5 people and was very happy! However, despite doing everything possible to keep us warm, we unfortunately had to enjoy our food in the cold! Next time let people know where the guests are sitting and ask if it's okay! We would have preferred to be in there for the money you asked!
