A thoroughly successful evening – French hospitality at its finest We made a spontaneous reservation online and were all the more delighted by how smoothly everything went. Upon entering the restaurant, we received a very warm welcome – an immediate feeling of being welcome. We would especially like to commend our waiter: attentive, charming, and always on hand, without being intrusive. He always kept an eye on our empty glasses and his service was a real asset to the evening. The food was simply fantastic – prepared with great attention to detail and beautifully presented. The wine recommendation was also spot on and perfectly complemented the menu. We have rarely felt so completely at home in a restaurant. It was a wonderful evening that we would gladly repeat. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates French cuisine and genuine hospitality!

We were passing along Torstaße looking for some food and we thought we would try this place next to our absolute favourite restaurant in Berlin, Bandol sur Mer. 3 Minutes sur Merr is most definitely one of the most authentic French restaurants that I have seen in Berlin. Extremely French inspired menu with the classics all over such as Steak Tartare, Moules, Steak and fries, Creme Brulee to name a few. My Moules dish was perfectly cooked with a really generous portion of fries. My wife had the Roastbeef and loved it. Service and ambience matched the food......very good indeed. Overall price for 2 was not too bad considering the area. Highly recommended and worth a visit. Love it and we shall be back!

Super friendly service, who always kept an eye on us and gave excellent advice. The coq au vin was appropriately advertised—in fact, it was excellent—and the caramelized walnuts on the chocolate mousse were surprising.

A French restaurant run by a Frenchman with a great sense of humor, but with a bit of a snobbery. The food is comparable to a neighborhood restaurant, but the prices aren't.

Really disappointed, no uptaded information about the menu until we ordered. Only 2 main meal available out of 4. They wrote on the menu you can have fish for 9 EUR/100g but then they told you that you need to order minimum 700g so 63 EUR. What a joke, who is eating 700g of fish ? I don’t recommand this place

Here we had a wonderful experience with both the food and the service, very prompt and friendly, a pleasure in Berlin! In this authentic French adresse we had a shot of oysters,bouillabaisse, and a crème brûlée, everything was very tasty. Nice atmosphere outside, give it a try !

Very good bistro with a fabulous entrecôte steak. A classic in Mitte.

A tropical, rainy evening under the awning. We had: Very good bread and butter to start with. A clear, fresh Sancerre. A very nice, flavorful fish soup with 2 mussels, a thick shrimp and many pieces of fish as well as Comté and rouille. Make-your-own tartare. Very pretty, very tasty. An entrecote fried to order, a few beans, bearnaise sauce and mediocre French fries. Pretty good. An artichoke with an interesting vinaigrette, the same fries, the same bearnaise. Artichoke is not often offered. Very good. A crème brûlée with wild berries. Exactly how you imagine it. Overall, a solid brasserie with very friendly, competent service at fair prices. A restaurant to come back and a recommendation.

Price-performance unacceptable. Kitchen intentionally ambitious, but cannot deliver the expected quality. Service was mediocre, we had to wait over an hour for the main course because “sorry, there is a big table to be served”. If I don't have the capacity, I shouldn't set up so many tables. Wines overpriced.

Everything was right here - from the first impression when entering the lovingly designed place to the perfect food to the very competent and attentive service and all at a more than fair price. Anyone who misses the opportunity to spend an evening here when it presents itself is missing out on an exceptional and unique gastronomic experience. By far the best choice on Torstrasse and our favorite local restaurant. Reliably very high quality - the Maibock on the current menu easily has star quality - of classic French dishes. Uncomplicated, calm, and at the same time very warm and comfortable with very confident service. The GDR furnishings, including lamps from the Palace of the Republic, give the room a very special aura. Very clear recommendation.

A very friendly welcome, a lovely table and knowledgeable service. The aperitif came quickly, the starters and the main course in a reasonable time, and the final dessert as well. The dishes were very well prepared both visually and in terms of taste, only the cheese in the dessert could have been a little more mature. The wines served are highly recommended. The menu promises even more culinary delights. We'd love to come back.

Perfect dinner! We particularly recommend the interpretation of Vitello Tonnato with tuna cream as a base, followed by bresaola and extremely short-fried tuna as well as the most tender saddle of venison with a delicious sauce and Oyster shot with quail egg yolk. The fish dishes are also perfect! We were there twice at the weekend and loved it each time. A huge compliment to Jean the Maitre!!!!

Simply a restaurant with style! The friendly waiter was not only able to answer our questions about the wine list, but also let us try it before we ordered the bottle. The bouilliabaisse was outstanding! The food and wine perfectly framed our old childhood memories! I met a sandpit friend again after about 30 years, which was nice.

Nettes französisches Bistro mit angenehm übersichtlicher und gut zusammengestellter Karte, was sich positiv wiederfindet auf den tadellosen Tellern … wirklich sehr gut.. Die gute Weinkarte war etwas dezimiert, da manches „ausgetrunken“ aber immer noch ausreichend und mit Faktor 3 fair kalkuliert. Der Service ist aufmerksam und zugewandt Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Abend.

Perfect French cuisine just like in Paris. We had huge Oysters, Beaf Steak Tartar and the Filet Steak Frites, all of them were near perfection. I also like the 80s retro lamps and the cosy atmosphere

Tolles Personal und ausgefallene Gerichten zu fairen Preisen. Eigentlich würde ich gern nur einen Stern geben, damit nicht so viele dahin gehen und wir immer einen Platz finden. ;)

Das Essen war ok bis gut. Einige Gerichte waren etwas lieblos angerichtet. Geschmacklose Crevetten, geschmacksneutraler Dip dazu. Gute Weine, leckere Salate (da kann man aber auch relativ wenig verkehrt machen) Je später es wurde, umso schlechter wurde der Service. Nur 2 Kellner für das ganze Lokal innen und außen ist ein No-go. Rechnung mussten wir uns innen abholen.

Spontan eingekehrt, das Lokal war voll und trotz alledem wurde es ermöglicht, uns einen Sitzplatz zur Verfügung zu stellen. Essen war liebevoll zubereitet und man spürt eine gute Arbeitsatmosphäre. Alle Angestellte sind super motiviert. Das positive Klima hat sich ebenso auf uns übertragen. Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Steak frites à tomber par terre

Gehobenes Essen, gehobene Preise! Die Gerichte bestechen durch hochwertige Zutaten. Auf dem Teller finden sich fein herausgearbeitete Aromen die gute kombiniert werden. Die Auswahl an Weinen könnte größer sein, aber ähnlich wie beim Essen, ist die Reduzierung nicht auf Kosten der Qualität gegangen. Der Gastraum ist gemütlichen und leger gehalten. Ich habe mich immer sehr wohl gefühlt.

Leckere französische Küche, klassische Speisekarte, ein Stücken Frankreich in Berlin. Mir fehlte die Kreativität im Menü allerdings das ist reine Geschmackssache. Die Bedienung war freundlich aber es wurden einige extra Sachen in Rechnung wahrscheinlich aus Versehen gestellt (2 Flaschen Mineralwasser und 2 Desserts anstatt von 1), die Sache wurde aber schnell gelöst. Delicious food and very professional service

Tolles französisches Bistro auf der Torstraße, authentische Küche, top Weinkarte, sympathischer Service und das ganze in entspannter Atmosphäre. Klassiker wie Escargots, Bouillabaisse und Steak Frites, wechselnde saisonale Gerichte und zum Abschluss noch ein Café Gourmand, Bistroküche wie in Paris. Unser Lieblingsfranzose in Berlin!

Es macht einfach immer wieder Freude da zu Essen.

Wir hatten einen kleinen Zweiertisch in den recht gut gefüllten Bistro, aber man fühlte sich bestens bedient und konnte sich gut unterhalten (moderate Lautstärke). Die Bouilliabaise war ein Traum und das Birnendessert hat unseren hervorragenden Eindruck aus Feinste abgerundet. Tolle Weine. Alles perfekt!

Después de haber vivido en Francia durante algunos años, me sentí como retrocedido en el tiempo. Esta Brasserie se especializa en mariscos, la bullabesa tenía ingredientes de buena calidad pero muy poca sopa. A diferencia de los restaurantes franceses en Francia, también tenían una sabrosa opción vegetariana. Para los que comen carne siempre hay filete de patatas fritas. El servicio era bueno, el vino era decente (principalmente francés con algunas opciones alemanas). Los precios de los platos principales están en los 20 s, pero no es una mala opción para los francófonos.

Wenn wir in Berlin sind ist das unsere Adresse wo wir hin müssen, haben das Restaurant über eine Empfehlung bekommen, seit dem jedes mal wenn Berlin uns ruft sind wir da. Die Küche ist absolut Klasse und die Preise sind für Berlin sehr akzeptabel. Ach ja, wer Promis sehen will ist hier auch richtig, schlagen regelmäßig hier auf oder gehen vorbei, also Augen auf. 😎🤣😎🤣

Ein Lokal für den frankophilen Gast, unkomplizierte Atmosphäre, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich, das Angebot an Gerichten übersichtlich aber frisch und eher klassisch zubereitet. Can’t say lot about this place - service was bad, waiter was just ignoring us all the time and we were charged money for the tap water, which was presented to us as ‘filtered’ water. Prices are also pretty high and food options not that large.

Unscheinbarer Eckladen mit klassischem französischen Gerichten wie Beef-Tartar , Steak Frites etc. Hervorragendes Baguette vorweg. Gut belebt und freundlicher Service.

Summary: einfaches französisches Bistro Would I go again: maybe Ambiente: süßes kleines Restaurant, Stoffservietten Service: nett und umsichtig, reagiert zügig Essen: nett angerichtet geschmacklich völlig im Ordnung aber reißt einen nicht vom Hocker. Steak frites war gut gebraten die Pommes aber nicht knackig und irgendwie lieblos angerichtet. Der Zander hingegen sehr schön angerichtet sehr gut gegart gut gewürztes Gemüse

Die Schnecken mit Markknochen sind ein Gedicht. Ich kann es garnicht genug loben - es ist viel zu selten, dass man so hochwertiges Essen abseits der konventionellen Zutaten bekommt. Probiert es!
