There aren't many French restaurants in Berlin, and unfortunately, many are characterized by their oddly high pricing. This isn't the case here; the expected good quality is delivered; there's simply nothing to complain about; everything is perfectly prepared, the ingredients are exquisite. The special feature of Pastis is that the service has a kind of friendliness that is often lacking in Berlin. Namely, an honest and unpretentious attitude toward the guests, who are treated like guests. In short, you feel comfortable and have always eaten well afterwards. There is one weak point: the bad habit of a bottle of water now costing €7.50, which also applies here. And of course, the good custom of the caraffe d'eau is completely unknown here. It is known, but the owners expressly disapprove of it. What a pity.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, which we hadn't heard before. When we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by a very charming waitress and shown to our table – with her delightful French accent! 👏 The waitress was incredibly kind and very accommodating the entire time! The dining experience here is very classy! Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy because of a group! They didn't seem to mind that they weren't alone in the restaurant! 😡 What disappointed me was that there was no French music (chanson) playing over the loudspeakers, but English?! That really didn't fit this beautiful, typically French restaurant! 😫 The chef could have shown a bit of a smile on his face?! Was he in a bad mood? 🤔 As we were about to leave, I saw a display case full of beautiful cakes! If I had seen that beforehand, I would have ordered a piece of cake for dessert! The cakes looked surprisingly beautiful – like the cakes from Leonôre in KaDeWe! I asked the chef if they made the cakes themselves, and he confirmed. You rarely get such beautiful cakes in a restaurant, I think. When I got home, I researched the restaurant. In fact, a French pastry chef works there. Apparently, you can also order the various cakes from him! 👍🏻

The food at Pastis was good, but overall it was too hectic and loud. I was there on May 18, 2025. There were three of us. I ate fish soup, which had several bones, and the main course arrived only lukewarm. I will never eat there again.

The food was very good, and the service was very attentive. The only thing that was extremely annoying was the noise level. It was almost impossible to have a conversation with the people sitting next to you or across the table. Perhaps some soundproofing could be achieved by sticking felt under the chairs and tables?

Very fine food and wine in a feel-good atmosphere - très chic!

This is an adorable French restaurant where you can enjoy nice French brasserie dishes at their finest. The owner offers lovely service. The menu changes often, and when we came, they offered an enjoyable “Easter menu.” The wine was delicious, too. What we enjoyed at last was the “tartelettes” selection, which are freshly made by their patissier Christophe. These were very tasty, super fresh, not sweet, and perfect to share as a dessert. Thanks for having us and thank you to the chefs!

Absolute hidden diamond in Berlin Wilmersdorf! I would describe my partner and I as rather demanding when it comes to gastronomy and I really have to say that the quality of the food at Pastis is in the top league without being too abstract - as is unfortunately the case with many star restaurants. Absolute recommendation!

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a fantastic meal. And I would mention that we Know Pastis from the time when we had a flat around a corner and now traveling some km to revisit them on special occasions for dining. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed. Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! I tried surprise menu, and it was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight! Overall, Pastis exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for romantic dinner with reasonable price and a great ambiance, this is the place to be!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day at Pastis yesterday! There was a set menu which was VERY tasty. It was varied, every single course was beautifully prepared, of excellent quality and perfectly seasoned! In addition to the great cuisine, we would also like to highlight Marie's wonderful service! She served us cheerfully all evening, always with a smile and very nice sayings. You can tell that she loves her job. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, like in France and even though the restaurant was fully booked, it was still personal and you didn't have to “yell at each other” to understand each other. Simply a great evening for us, hosted by a GREAT team! A visit to Pastis is worth it!!!

We were here at the beginning of February 25th. The food was excellent. Unfortunately a bit expensive… At a price of €7.50 for a bottle of water, we would have liked the bottle to be opened at the table…

My recommendation is as it was a few years ago: Pastis is a top restaurant. Very French and highly recommended. Actually between a bistro and a restaurant. The food is excellent, and if you love Bordeaux wines, this is the place for you. Employees very nice and service-oriented. The Pastis is suitable for private meals, but also for business events. Small personal mini-points deduction: It can get very loud there when it's full. Some people don't like it that way. But other than that it's great.

A little piece of France in Berlin. Excellent service and sensational food. It's difficult for me to put the culinary delights into words. My expectations were exceeded. Amuse bouche, the greeting from the kitchen with pumpkin and goat cheese opened the 4-course menu. Followed by tuna (mega), then lobster in bouillabaisse stock, then a beef tournedo, goose liver and truffle jus, and finally a cheese plate. The menu was accompanied by a sensational red wine. Any time again and unconditional recommendation.

Olalà - what fish soup! Ich bestelle sie immer and sie ist immer wieder perfekt und selbstgenügsam, dass ich weder fromage noch die rouille or croutons (which I find too fatty) brauche. Followed by a delicious rosé chop on a bed of Sardinian frégole and broccoli… Von französischen Weinen I don't really know. However, we both appreciated and loved the white muscadet and the chardonnay, which were among the open ones….

Es tut mir sehr leid, hier nicht die volle Punktzahl geben zu können, da ich das Pastis (noch aus Zeiten der Weddinger Filiale) und seine Küche schon sehr lange kenne und mich durchaus als Stammgast -wenn auch nicht als oft-Gast :-)- bezeichnen würde und die hohe Qualität seiner Küche schätze. Was mich bei meinem letzten Besuch -an meinem Geburtstag- am meisten ärgerte: obwohl bei der Reservierung ausdrücklich erwähnt, gab es dafür keine Aufmerksamkeit vom Haus -weder einen Drink noch ein Stück Kuchen o.ä. Und das beim hohen Preisniveau des Pastis: kleines (200-250gr.) Entrecôte, zwar nicht perfekt (nicht gleichmäßig) geschnitten, aber sehr guter Fleischqualität und korrekt (deutsch medium) gebraten, mit TK-Pommes für 32 Euro (auf der Internetseite eigentlich "nur" 29...), Blutwurst (nicht hausgemacht) für 26 Euro... Auch der Wein ist teuer: 9,50 für ein Glas Burgunder (0,2) ist schon exklusiv. Das Interieur ist ansprechend und gemütlich, im französischen Bistro-Stil. Man muss aber auch wissen, dass das Lokal sehr beliebt ist und eigentlich immer voll, mit entsprechendem Geräuschpegel. Reservierung also unerlässlich. Personal ist aber geschult und sehr aufmerksam, so dass es auch bei starkem Betrieb alles im Blick hat. Übrigens: bitte nicht mit dem Auto kommen: es gibt im ganzen Viertel dort keine Parkplätze, die Polizei macht dort sogar nachts Jagd auf Falschparker!

When you're invited to dinner, you're usually in a good mood. In this case, it improved significantly after entering the restaurant: the unconventional atmosphere with aged but well-kept furniture gave hope for good things. Friendly, unconventional service with a wonderful French accent, good advice and even the French-style black pudding gave the palate hope. And he wasn't disappointed. All four meals were enjoyed by those involved. The dessert variations and the cheese for dessert were also wonderful. The liveliness of the front of the bar may not be for everyone, but there is also a back section and reservations always seem to make sense here. As an invitee, I am not in a position to judge the value for money - but the invitation was a generous gift...

We came for the lunch menu. The place is dark and shabby & we were put in a tiny corner. Soup was not properly warm & too rich of heavy cream. The main, a dry piece of poultry, I could hardly swallow & a decent Tart Tatin to finish. In one word: Disappointing!

I find the treatment of guests very arrogant. Makes guests wait 10 minutes until they are graciously "seated". So the soup was good and expensive, The handling reduces the desire to go there again. Il faut faire des efforts!

Years ago I had an offshoot in Wedding: the atmosphere was very similar: unfortunately it was closed then! Today we spontaneously went to Rüdesheimer Platz and the place was packed (lunch!) on Tuesdays? But even without a reservation there was still a table: And the food: balm for the soul, perfectly cooked and seasoned in the right portion for lunch… dessert also delicious 😋…. Make a reservation and take some time with you (the food is freshly cooked here)...PS I haven't eaten better in Paris...

One of the highly recommended French people in Berlin. Very unpretentious in Wilmersdorf, right next to the Rüdesheimer Platz subway. Food excellent service excellent ambience is fine. Absolutely recommended.

Auf Grund von Empfehlungen in der Tagespresse haben wir das Restaurant für ein Mittagsessen besucht und waren enttäuscht. Das 3-Gangmenü war einfallslos, hatte nichts mit dem französischen Anspruch des Restaurants gemeinsam und war damit auch den Preis kaum wert. Das Ambiente und der Service waren nett, aber das reicht eben nicht.

Our first visit to this restaurant can be described in one word: perfect! The highlight was certainly the food, the rack of lamb was buttery soft and à point, as was the beef. The salad with salmon is well seasoned and prepared. In general, people here seem to be resisting the trend towards less and less seasoning, and that's a good thing. And finally the coffee comes with dessert again and is hot. We were even asked if we wanted it with or separately, so great service - we'll be back.

Dear, good Pastis, we haven't been here for a while, spontaneously today at lunchtime and that was a very good idea. Excellent food on the beautiful terrace. Nowhere else around here is the cooking as good as this. Absolutely recommended, no matter what you like, everything is excellent. Vincent and his wife are charming hosts. We received a friendly welcome...we wanted to sit at a larger table, but that wasn't possible because there were only two of us instead of four, although there were enough tables...so we didn't have to hear the conversation from the neighbor...ordered drinks and they arrived at some point (€9.50 Aperol Spritz/€8.00 wine spritzer!!!😳)....Oysters good quality....Swordfish roasted-tomato risotto and tapenade €35.00, needs to be described better because the tapenade is on the fish The crust was 😁.. Entrecôte was ok, there could have been a little more fries €29.00 and pepper from the mill would have been good... Salad and Bordelaise sauce were an extra €4.00 each, you should think about it... so €37.00 €😂...had to wait a long time for the food 40 minutes😒..... Conclusion>free choice of seating/portions can be a little larger/food should be served more quickly...still room for improvement 🛗

Nach längerer Zeit sind wir nochmal dort gewesen und stellten fest : Die Speisen waren gut, der Service freundlich und sehr bemüht. Doch leider wurde die Flasche Sancerre (49.00 €) mit Zimmertemperatur serviert und musste anschließend im Weinkühler stehen. So waren am Ende des Hauptgerichts noch zwei Drittel des Weins übrig. Bisher bekamen wir immer am Ende des Menüs einen Digestif vom Haus. Dieses Mal fehlte er - Sparmaßnahmen? Er war schon besser und wir haben uns schon wohler gefühlt.

We had on July 10th. Ordered the lunch menu (veal schnitzel and steak). The veal schnitzel with the Lyonnaise potatoes was dried out. The steak was well done even though it was ordered "sanglant". Apparently the waitress misunderstood it. If this is supposed to be French cuisine, then thank you very much. We won't be coming back for a while.

The entrecote, an expensive piece of meat full of tendons and unimaginatively served with only fries. It couldn't be worse.

The real French restaurant impresses above all with its cuisine and a medium selection of good wines. Guests can expect a higher price level. There are drawbacks to be made in the ambience (too loud pee music, unfortunately only a small terrace with [too] cramped seating) and in the service (we had a somewhat grumpy young man). Nevertheless: our neighborhood has been incredibly enriched by the "Pastis" - and afterwards a quick stop at the wine fountain: great!

A lovely French eatery with excellent food and great service

Yesterday we went to Pastis again for a cozy evening for two and, like every time, had a fantastic meal! In addition to the classics such as tarte flambée and fish soup, you can eat small dishes with a nice glass of wine, but also a sumptuous five courses. Since I don't eat meat, I was torn between the wonderful fish options (zander, monkfish or eaglefish) and the fresh pumpkin ravioli with goat cheese. I had the monkfish in a light, creamy saffronized aioli with a fresh orange note - delicious! Before that there were six huge, delicious Breton oysters and for dessert the divine dessert variation with a small coffee. The cuisine and service are excellent, typically French with a lot of love, inspiration and style without being uptight. You always feel very welcome at Pastis and it's worth the price! Merci les gars!!

A real Frenchman with authentic French cuisine, the entrecote is terrific, all the dishes are excellent, classic and not nouvelle cuisine. Very good price-performance ratio, attentive service, cozy bistro atmosphere, usually fully booked by 7 p.m.!

Foie grois was ice cold. Steak fries were terrible, tough, fries weak and without salt. The boss was arrogant and unfriendly, poor service. I have a migration background myself, or was there for the first time, so not a regular guest. I do not have another explanation.

This is the best French restaurant in Berlin, located in a very nice area. I love the lunch menu, a fantastic value for money. The food is of great quality. The menu in the evening is extraordinary but obviously higher priced. This is the place to be, if you like French food/restaurants.

Das Restaurant findet man inmitten einer gutbürgerlichen Wohngegend direkt gegenüber dem Ausgang des U-Bahnhofs Rüdesheimer Platz auf der Linie 3, die von hier stadtauswärts zum Ausflugs- und Badesee Krumme Lanke weiterfährt, den schon vor fast hundert Jahren der Berliner Kabarettist Fredy Sieg und fünf Jahrzehnte später das Spaßmacher-Quartett Insterburg & Co. so eindrücklich besungen haben. Rein zufällig kommt man hier kaum vorbei; ich folgte dem Rat eines ausgewiesenen ortskundigen Feinschmeckers, der mich darauf hinwies, daß Restaurants mit französischer Küche in Berlin zwar qualitativ gut, aber auch exorbitant teuer seien, dieses hier aber bei gleicher Qualität wenigstens ein paar Euro günstiger. Das Pastis ist durchaus gemütlich, aber sehr unbequem -- es beschränkt sich auf einen einzigen Raum mit wenigen, sehr eng stehenden kleinen Tischen für jeweils zwei Gäste. Im Sommer steht wenigstens noch eine Außenterrasse zur Verfügung. Man muß also wegen der Platznot unbedingt rechtzeitig vorher reservieren, wenn man hier essen möchte. Das tat ich und wurde sogleich herzlich, fast familiär empfangen, auch sonst war der Service sehr angenehm und zugewandt. Hier essen auch viele französischsprachige Menschen, die Konversation ist vorrangig in dieser Sprache, aber auch in fließendem deutsch mit stark französischem Akzent. Frisches, noch warmes Baguette eröffnete den Abend. Ich hatte zunächst eine Fischsuppe Marseille mit Rouille, geriebenem Käse und getoastetem Knoblauchbrot bestellt und war sogleich begeistert von der außerordentlich hohen Qualität derselben: fein pürierter Fisch mit einer so raffiniert wie köstlich sich präsentierenden Geschmacksnote, deren Bestandteile ich gar nicht so ohne weiteres bestimmen konnte. Ein meisterlicher Hochgenuß war danach auch die französische Blutwurst, die ich so auch woanders schon probiert hatte: Diese Würste sind kleiner als die deutscher Metzger, enorm interessant würzig und vollmundig, dazu gab es karamelisierte Apfelteilchen und Kartoffelstampf. Schon die Suppe zuvor hätte ich am liebsten immer weiter gegessen, obwohl die Portion nicht klein war. Desgleichen mein Hauptgericht: ein Festmahl für den Gaumen, und das sage ich nach vielfältigen Erfahrungen mit französischen Mahlzeiten auch in unserem Nachbarland gewiß nicht leichtfertig daher. Die Auswahl auf der festen Karte ist übrigens überschaubar, weil es darüber hinaus eine ebenso große Tageskarte gibt, die naturgemäß ständig wechselt und für manche Überraschung gut ist.

gestern haben wir unseren Hochzeitstag im Pastis gefeiert. Von A-Z alles perfekt. Herzlichen Empfang, der Mantel wird einem abgenommen. Ein schöner Platz zugewiesen und der gesamte Abend wurde von der sehr sympathischen Bedienung begleitet ( mit netten Empfehlungen, guten Ratschlägen und guten Gesprächen ) Grimbergen blanche vom Faß ein absoluter Genuss ( und ja auch die Belgier machen sehr gute Biere ) Astern perfekt, frisch und gut geöffnet. Die Echalotten vinaigrette war sehr gut ( hätte hier gerne den Namen vom Essig - Himbeere oder Erdbeere von einen ausgezeichneten Qualität ) Apero gourmand sehr gut, nur etwas zuviel Trüffelöl in dem Artischockensalat ). Jacobsmuschel mit Blumenkohlcevice ausgezeichnet ( kann man nicht besser machen - Chapeau an den Koch ). Mein Tatar mit Steichholzkartoffeln sehr gut. Hier kam der Koch persönlich an den Tisch und hat nach der Zutatenwahl gefragt, bzw. auch die Zutaten präsentiert. Das ist ein Topservice und lockert den Abend schön auf. Der Chip dazu schmeckte mir nicht, war auch schwer definierbar. Beim Pichet Rosé für 14,-- ( guter Preis, aber für das Menu etwas schwach auf der Brust ( das war aber unser Fehler ). Danach Rohmilchkäseplatte auch hier vom Küchenchef pers. präsentiert war sehr gut. Dessert Variation war etwas durchwachsen, tw. zu süß und zu trocken ( Gebäck ) Mini creme brulée sehr gut. Möchte am Ende nochmal den tollen Service der Dame aus Toulouse unterstreichen, das macht für uns einen guten Restaurantbesuch aus, auch ein bisschen Show und Unterhaltung gehört für uns zu einen schönen Abend einfach dazu. A bientôt .

I don't understand the good reviews. The food was ok, but nothing more. The service was a disaster - everything took a terribly long time. I wouldn't go there a second time. The food was really ok, but the rest of it didn't fit at all, it seemed like the waiters weren't quite fit.

Klein, aber oho! Das Pastis kann, seit Jahren, seinen sehr guten Standard halten. Man sitzt zuweilen zwar ein klein wenig beengt, aber das Interieur, mit bordeauxfarbenen Wänden und Sitzbezügen, in Kombination mit dunklem Holz, schaffen ein behagliches Ambiente. Ich freue mich, im Restaurant, dem Klang der französische Sprache lauschen zu können. Die Bedienung und die Patronin sind charmant, aufmerksam und ausnahmslos Franzosen. Vorweg gab es einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche. Das viergängige Menue hat unseren Gaumen vollkommen zufrieden gestellt. Bravo! Kreatives Küche auf einem sehr ansprechenden Niveau. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Sehr gerne wieder.

Ich habe gestern meinen Geburtstag mit meiner Familie (10 Personen) hier gefeiert. Schon im Vorfeld bin ich gut betreut worden und die Speisen a' la Cart waren diesen Besuch wieder mehr als Wert. Der Service war hervorragend, unaufdringlich und dezent. Auf alle unsere Wünsche wurde, ohne das wir es gemerkt haben, rücksichtsvoll eingegangen. Hier kann jeder immer wieder gerne zurückkehren. Ein kleines Stück Frankreich am Rüdesheimer Platz. Danke für diesen schönen Abend.

Wir haben leider Anfang September keinen guten Abend erwischt. Der Service war an diesem Abend leider schlecht. Es lief sehr viel falsch und für ein Restaurant dieser Preisklasse nicht gebührend. Ich möchte dies hier gar nicht weiter ausführen ,da ich danach zweimal eine Mail geschickt habe und unseren Unmut kundgetan habe. Es kam leider keine Antwort. Daraufhin habe ich meine Beschwerde Mail ausgedruckt und bin persönlich in das Pastis gefahren um diese da abzugeben und ein weiteres Mal um eine Stellungnahme gebeten. Leider ist bis heute keinerlei Antwort erfolgt. Dieser Umgang mit Kunden, die viel Geld im Restaurant Pastis lassen, ist leider nicht zu akzeptieren. Sehr schade !!

Man kann nur mit Karte bezahlen..find ich schade

Direkt am Ausgang des U-Bahnhofs Rüdesheimer Platz. Parken meist mit Suche verbunden. Terrasse mit ca 8 Tischen. Bei schönem Wetter nur mit Reservierung zu Bekommen. Essen eigentlich ausnahmslos gut oder sehr gut. Mittagessen zu moderaten Preisen an Wochentagen. Dazu sind Vor- und Nachspeisen wählbar. Nachtisch ist von hauseigenen Patissier und immer fantastisch. Tagsüber auch (eingeschränkt) Essen à la Carte. Abends verschiedene Menues bestellbar. Einigem, wie das „Hummer-Menue“ müssen im Voraus bestellt werden. Das Essen ist in der Regel eine echte Freude; ein Erlebnis. Zu Allen Aspekten jedoch nur 4 Sterne von mir, weil die Bedienung manchmal nicht so gut war, wie es möglich ist- ; weil mitgenommene Gerichte kleiner waren, als angemessen; weil die Weine, die im Glas verkauft werden, besser ausgesucht sein könnten. - Kritik auf hohen Niveau,- aber man kann dieser Perle von Restaurant noch besser machen…!

2 Stunden auf Hauptspeisen gewartet, 1 Stunde auf den Vorspeisensalat, Rotwein kam mit ca. 20 Grad Temperatur, Entrecote und Vorspeisensalat mittemäßig, Trüffelpasta wirklich gut.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen, nur der Mousse au chocolat entsprach nicht ganz den Erwartungen. Gerne wieder!

Süßes kleines Bistro mit sehr guter Küche. Pasta und Mandeltarte von der Mittagskarze waren ein Genuss. Die Tische stehen sehr eng. Der Service ist schnell und authentisch französisch.

Ich habe eine negative Kritik geschrieben, die wurde aber hier nicht veröffentlicht.Ich fühle mich doppelt unangebracht behandelt. Ich wurde sehr unfreundlich, überheblich und genervt behandelt,als ich einen Zweiertisch zu meinem Geburtstag reservieren wollte. Ich hoffe meine Rezension wird gerechtigkeits halber noch veröffentlicht.

Wir waren seit sehr langer Zeit mal wieder hier. Es war noch genauso gut wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten. In Berlin sicher einer der besten Orte für französische Küche. Dabei ein passender lockerer Service der perfekt funktioniert. Immer wieder gerne

Wir waren nach längerer Pause in der letzten Woche wieder mal im Pastis. Eine angenehme Atmosphäre empfing uns. Das Restaurant schien am Sonntag Abend ausgebucht. Vorspeise Weinbergschnecken 1 Dz., (wo werden die sonst noch heute angeboten?), dann ein Entrecote (einen super Fleischqualität), zum Abschluß Käse. Ein gelungener Abend, danke an die netten und aufmerksamen Kellner.
