We discovered by chance through our landlady that they also owned this restaurant and made a reservation directly. Great welcome, super friendly staff, very nice atmosphere and really great food.

There were 7 of us, there twice. The food was first class, the service was top notch and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much for the 2 lovely evenings with you.

Rustic-modern shop We had the pleasure of dining at this rustic-modern restaurant and I can safely say it was a thoroughly positive experience. With a group of nine people of different ages, we were all more than happy with the food - a real feat! I chose a burger which was simply fantastic. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare and juicy, which is an absolute must for me. A small downside was the sauce, which was made with a whiskey base - perhaps a bit too much for my personal taste, but I generally eat sauce in a more minimalist way ;) It was definitely delicious and one of the best burgers in a long time. Schnitzel and currywurst were also perfectly done. The price-performance ratio is really great here! Totally justified for the quality of the food and the service we received. The waiter, who appears to be new to the team, still needed some time to get used to the system, but his passion and friendliness more than made up for it. You can tell that he is motivated and enjoys working in the store. At the end he even organized soft ice cream for us. Overall, we can only recommend this restaurant! It offers a great atmosphere, great food and dedicated service. We will definitely come back on the next motorcycle tour!

I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. The service was very friendly and we were seated spontaneously. On Sunday evening the selection was no longer quite as extensive, some ingredients or dishes were no longer available and delivery was expected for the next day. But I think the food will taste good, it certainly looked delicious. We only had drinks and each had an ice cream (which isn't on the menu, but if you ask you get an ice cream sundae).

We sat in front of the store for 20 minutes and didn't even get a card. We got the card ourselves. We ended up going to another store.

On the first day it was super tasty. The second time we ate there it wasn't as tasty anymore. The fries tasted old, the rest of the food had a bit too much salt.

We had dinner there one evening on vacation, so make sure to reserve in advance. Waitress very friendly, despite high stress. Burgers and fries were good. The children's portion was very generous.

We really enjoyed having a delicious meal outside on a sunny day. I really enjoyed the (vegan) Fallafel Bowl. Big hunger, little hunger and thirst - everything is taken care of! Very friendly and courteous service despite the large rush.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is absolutely amazing and really cozy and beautiful. We only drank a cocktail outside that had a pretty high price and a pretty high water content from those ice cubes. So we didn't think it was all that justified, but of course it's just a tourist thing. We were a little outraged that dogs were allowed into the store, even though people also ate food there. From a legal point of view, however, it is apparently completely fine and every shop owner can decide this for themselves.

If you don't know where to eat then definitely go here. We went there for dinner last night. And what can I say 5 * +++++. The restaurant is totally decorated. Despite the lack of staff, the staff were in a great mood and very attentive. Well, and the food first... It's been ages since I ate so well. All I can say is keep it up. Great praise. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be there.

Really cozy restaurant with the option of sitting both outside and inside. We had pizza and sweet potato fries with aioli. Really delicious food and good service. NOTE: It is currently closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ordered burger with fries. Bun was so hard you couldn't cut it. Definitely not worth €21. The fries, however, were very good. Nothing more than a “hmm” came from the waiter.

We were very impressed by the visual impression and were looking forward to our evening at 1894. The staff and the furnishings were really great. But: Currywurst would still have been possible. My hamburger petti was still very pink. It looked bloody because of the tomatoes. Unfortunately, the eye eats too. Unfortunately we weren't that impressed with the food.

There were two of us here. First of all: the employees were nice and friendly and the table reservation worked perfectly. When the weather was good, we also sat comfortably in the winter garden. So far everything is good. What was bad, however, was the salad. It had probably been sitting in the fridge for a day and had a very mushy consistency. We also found a piece of old bread at the bottom of the salad bowl that didn't belong there. There shouldn't be any croutons and the piece was too big and alone for that. We asked the waiter about it, but since the amount wasn't taken off the bill and no other compensation was offered, I reduced the tip accordingly. It's a shame, but I really hate doing that. Otherwise we had a burger which was good and also aioli bread without any complaints.

Really great atmosphere. Super Service. I suspect that price performance should go to upscale restaurants. Aperol 8€ and 5m further 5€. Don't know if that appeals to the masses. Burger for 20€ Sour cream instead of mayo costs extra? Hmm. Steakhouse fries very floury. Sweet potato fries are super tasty but of course they cost extra. Overall, very nice if the euro doesn't matter. If you look at the gastronomy and tourism in the Harz, I think it's brave. But Hahnenklee definitely does it better than Goslar or Clausthal Zellerfeld, at least that's my impression.

Nice atmosphere and nice staff. The house beer is very tasty, as are the cheese spaetzle (fried onions would be great). Unfortunately my salad was still sandy. Since we waited a little longer and I was very hungry by now, I didn't let my plate go back and ate it anyway. Hopefully that was just an oversight. The prices are okay, but more in the upper segment. But overall good.

We spontaneously went there for dinner today. All the waitresses we came into contact with were very friendly and interested in a pleasant stay for everyone. We had already read in the reviews that there were vegan dishes. It is very positive that there is also something for children: vegan nuggets (also optionally with vegan mayo). According to the menu, gluten-free+vegan was difficult. The bistro was very flexible and you could order a vegan baked potato with hummus and salad. All around great service. The food was very tasty! The portions are quite large. Even after the bike tour with Biobike from Goslar, not everything fit. Getting the leftovers packed up was easy. The homemade lemonades really look and taste great. We would like to come again!

Everything has become even more expensive with a new owner. I was very disappointed with the asparagus cream soup for €8.90. Tasted more like water with too much lemon. Paying €19.90 for a hamburger with fries is beyond outrageous. Staff, as before, very nice and attentive. We're curious to see how long the new owner will stick with the prices.

What happened to us in this restaurant last weekend cannot be described in simple words. I was out with my daughter and my little grandson (1.5 years old). We were surprised by a heavy rain shower. So my daughter came along The little one sat at a bar table in the winter garden. This was open to the terrace and offered protection from the storm. I wanted to order 3 bratwursts at the kiosk. The lady denied my request (it would take too long) and directed me in a whisper to the nearby sizzling room. What kind of attitude towards your own business? So I ordered 2 cokes and a waffle for 9.40 euros. Even before we received the waffle, the lady kicked us out of the winter garden. The things we bought were only intended for consumption on the terrace. The umbrellas there offered no protection from the rain. What a terrible experience and with a small child. We will definitely not go there again

Massively overcrowded, so even with a reservation we still had to wait a good half hour, topped off by extremely rude staff and poor service. At least the food was ok, but not worth visiting

We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. When we came in there was also a large table at the window at the front marked with a reservation sign for 7:30 p.m. But we were seated in the middle at a table for two that was anything but inviting. I would have understood this procedure since there were only two of us, but during the hour we waited for our burgers, no one was allowed to sit at this table or the other table that was also free. Because we found the place very uncomfortable for our last evening, we asked if we could take the burgers with us. These were anything but tasty. The fries were not included at all. All in all, this bistro is overpriced and so confident in itself that no other opinions will be accepted. When I read the owner's comments, I wonder why he spends so much time condemning the people who "have the presumption" to write bad reviews about the bistro instead of checking to see if there's anything wrong with the service and above all could improve the quality of the food.

So this restaurant was the best in a long time! Both the small kiosk and the restaurant. The waitresses were very humorous and very attentive! The nice lady at the kiosk was great. Thank you for the story about the gold from Bocksberg! Dealing with children at mini golf is also very child-friendly! The ambience fits the area perfectly! The food was very good and the kitchen works very quickly. The possibilities of a whiskey, gin or beer tasting are unique! So if you don't stop here, it's your own fault!

The food was delicious, but really very spicy (Spaghetti Aglio&Olio). Prices too high in my opinion. Example: An extra €1 is charged for mayonnaise. Overall ok due to the fairly good location and the friendly service.

It's been a long time since I've eaten something so incredibly good. My husband treated himself to the rump steak and I had the tomato mozzarella pinsa. At the end we shared the super delicious Kaiserschmarren. We will definitely come back again. Thanks for the great service!!!

We spent our family reunion here with grandparents, parents and children. We are very excited! Everything is very tasty with nice portions, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very nice. There were no long waiting times and there was always a service to take our orders. The happy hour was also very worth it with such a large group. There is hardly a restaurant that has been furnished and decorated with so much attention to detail. Great atmosphere inside & outside! We were in the restaurant today on March 17th, 2024 and we were served very nicely. Above all, the service was very flexible. There were no ice cream sundaes. Our wish was still fulfilled. We were able to order it individually and then mixed it together ourselves. We also asked several times whether everything was OK or whether we wanted to order something else. Front with a smile and very nice and chatty. Something like this only happens very rarely. That's why we wanted to share this.

The food from me and my partner was excellent and very tasty. The selection of food and drinks is also very good. The outdoor area and winter garden are also very beautiful and cozy. Outside there is a very nice mini golf course with beautiful holes. All in all, definitely worth a visit. I will gladly come again.

It was actually a really nice evening, good beer, great ambience, the food was also very good, but unfortunately one of my children ordered a kind of pizza with salami and we agreed at the table that the salami smelled and tasted strange! We found this restaurant by chance. Reserved two places and regretted nothing! Great restaurant, the rustic charm is very homely. Despite the full house, the team is very friendly, responds well to requests and requests and also knows how to have fun 🌝 The food is incredibly tasty and also pleasing to the eye and lovingly prepared.
