Tolles Restaurant! Maria, unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hatte uns immer im Blick. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

A great experience! Very suitable for allergy sufferers! The restaurant has a nice, slightly rustic atmosphere in beautiful light. Everything seems very lovingly designed. We were there as a group. There are very good tasting drinks and I would particularly like to highlight the milkshakes. It's worth trying one. There are different variations of fries, all gluten-free, which I found very impressive and it's worth ordering the special varieties here. Personally, the burgers had a bit of a lot of sauce on them, but the overall taste was very good! If I remember correctly, there are also 2 vegan options. As my group ate dessert (see photo) (there is still no gluten-free option here), I was informed that the dessert was not gluten-free, which I found very thoughtful. Gladly again!

Simply delicious, delicious, delicious! This burger joint is a true paradise for all burger lovers. Here you can enjoy unlimited burgers, and every bite is a taste experience. The variety of burgers is impressive, and the super tasty sauces round the whole thing off perfectly. The team is friendly and always ready to make recommendations or fulfill individual requests. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back again and again and can only warmly recommend this burger place!

Really good burger for a fair price. The waitress was a little unclear.

At 1885 The Citizens there was a pleasant, great atmosphere, dimmed light, small battery-operated lamps on the tables, so you almost felt like you were at home. For dinner I had a Pastrami Burger with fresh rocket mustard and 1885 Burger sauce, onions, beefsteak tomatoes and gherkin and brioche bun and the Buffalo B! Citizen with Italian water buffalo meat from the Almalfi Coast and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana D.O.P, this citizen also has a homemade brioche bun, with fresh beef tomatoes, onions, crisp lettuce and a fruity tomato-basil sauce. I also had a portion of fries with cheese sauce dip. The meat was juicy and not too dry and the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. Before the meal I had a small snack until my meal was ready: nacho chips with a bruschetta version as a dip from the restaurant. And for dinner I chose a beer, the BalzBraeu 1885 Bürger Ale, which tasted really good. After the meal, I had a cocktail, the Long Island Iced Tea, which was good and strong. It wasn't too loud either, although there was also a fireplace on a television. The staff was very attentive and asked whether it was tasty or whether you had anything else you would like. When I asked if I could take a bottle of the beer I had with dinner to collect for home again, I was specifically asked, but it wasn't a problem, thanks again to my nice waitress (Maria). With the bill there was a small sweet, a little Trolli Bürger, which I thought was a fitting end to the great meal when I left, there was also a friendly farewell, I'm more than satisfied, very great Bürger Restaurant keeps it up, I'll be happy to come back.

The food was amazing. But if you seat outside you might wait longer then expected. They dont really check on you much.

We had a lovely dinner here. The real surprise was the crumble for dessert: absolutely delicious! And our waitress, Zoe, was warm, friendly, and made the evening even better.

Excellent burger restaurant. The price-performance ratio is great here. We got a large burger with fries and a drink for lunch for just under €19. Compared to “Hans im Glück” or “Peter Pane” here with a much more pleasant atmosphere, very nice and personal service and excellent taste and quality. We'll definitely be back!

The hamburger was very delicious, we preferred cheeseburger. We asked if there was pork in the burgers and the waiter said beef. When ordering, we asked for it to be well-cooked, and they took it into consideration that it was really well-cooked. We paid 32.30 euros for two people, two beers and two hamburgers.

We had a pleasant evening. The food was good, the service was attentive, and my wife was completely satisfied. Everything would have been fine. But that night our daughter vomited incessantly for hours. Maybe it was an unfortunate coincidence, maybe it was the court's fault. We don't know. But what remains is a bad aftertaste. Three stars because the moment was right, but the night overshadowed everything.

Nice restaurant with nice staff. The restaurant has plenty of gluten-free options that may not appear directly on the menu when searching. All burgers are available with gluten-free bread, great for a gluten-allergic person who is hungry.

This was absolutely the best burger I have ever eaten! Juicy meat, perfectly fried egg, crispy bacon and melted cheese - all rounded off with incredibly delicious sauces that perfectly combine all the flavors. Every bite was a pure pleasure! Plus fries – golden brown, crispy, exactly how they should be. The interior of the restaurant is impressive - modern, but with an atmosphere that immediately puts you in a good mood. Great music, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere make this place unforgettable. If you love burgers – you have to come here. A real taste experience and heaven on the tongue!

It was our first time there, almost by chance, but it won't be the last time. The food, the service and the rooms were simply great.

The burger was great and unbeatable. Really very good. One star less because a side salad or some cole slaw would have been nice. But that's really a tiny whine. Sorry

What can I say…premium burger? Visually awesome, but not really convincing in terms of taste. Patty was totally dry and the bun wasn't soft either. Since there are several stores in Bremen, I think the 5 stars come from somewhere else. The food came quickly, but the waitresses were only bare minimum nice. We won't eat there again.

A very tasty burger! You can either choose a burger from the menu or build one yourself using the construction kit. A gluten-free bun is available for an additional €2. The vegan patties and all sauces and fries are also gluten-free! The service is super friendly & the food arrived quickly. There was just a bit too much sauce on mine, but I think that's a matter of taste.

We sat outside. The lovely Jasmin served us attentively and humorously. Food was good and plentiful and the posing drivers made the ambience perfect :-)

Very nice and cozy atmosphere in the middle of the city of Bremen. Jasmin’s service was friendly and attentive 😉 The food was incredibly good, I've rarely had such good burgers and fries. The burgers were enough to fill you up and were fresh. Homemade broich buns and sauce and the selection of sauces is also huge and you can order many extras with the burger, such as cheese, bacon, fried eggs, etc. All in all, highly recommended 🫶🏻

The burgers are really tasty and we obviously looked very hungry because the perfect sweet potato fries and burgers were at the table just a few minutes after ordering. Very attentive and really nice service. Everything fits here!

The food was very tasty. We were forgotten in the corner by the waitress for over half an hour before she came to us to take our drinks and food. Then she brought us the wrong food. When we wanted to pay, it took another 20 minutes.

Experience report based on a person suffering from celiac disease: Absolutely clear recommendation! The service staff was very friendly and gave competent advice. We were served by Madlen, who exuded an extra sense of calm, so that eating out suddenly felt unexpectedly uncomplicated. The burgers are served with a gluten-free brioche bun, which tasted really great. The food was also very tasty. The fries are fried separately and can also be ordered without hesitation. For the lemonades, care was taken to ensure that a cardboard straw was used instead of a pasta straw when ordering "celiac disease". I was also impressed by the fact that there was also a good range of vegetarian/vegan options. Everything was perfect from start to finish! :-)

It was a delicious burger, we didn't have a reservation because we decided to go suddenly and I couldn't eat it because it was full. We made a reservation at that time and waited from 18.30 to 20, but it was worth it. The hamburger patties were very delicious, we preferred truffle smash and cheeseburger smash, the homemade lemonade was also successful, thank you also to Jenny who took care of us, the hamburger jelly bean given during payment was very cute.

We were guests here on a Saturday evening. The Salomon Burger was very tasty. Staff was very nice. Unfortunately the toilets were broken. Unfortunately the house beer brand was empty. But still gladly again Reservation recommended

First of all, for those who don't want to use a dictionary when ordering: “Bun” means roll in German and “Patty” is a meatball. “Asia” translates as Asian, which brings me to my “Asia Style Burger”: I have never been served such a bad burger. Do yourself a favor and try the vegetarian burger in the market hall. I had to give yours back after 3 bites. And then the bun started to crumble. And: now all the anglicisms on German menus are just laughable.

I came here because I heard it was an old hamburger restaurant and it was so delicious. The atmosphere was good too. Korean BBQ chicken doesn't taste as good as we're used to and it tastes very salty, so I wouldn't recommend it. However, there are many types of burgers to choose from, so I recommend coming and eating them. (When I made my own burger, I chose the Crispy Chicken and it was said to be really delicious.) I am not writing a recommendation because I received the jelly service.🤣

I absolutely loved my visit! The burgers were incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the homemade roll – fluffy, slightly crispy and simply delicious. The side dishes such as fries and onion rings were also great: crispy, hot and not too greasy. The staff was super friendly and attentive, the service was quick and professional. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and cozy - ideal for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner for two. I'll definitely come back. If you love really good burgers, this is the place for you!

Everything looks ok inside, you need to reserve a table in advance. The fries and hashbrown fries were delicious! The portion is large, I really liked it. They give you a complimentary plate of Nacho. The menu includes banana beer, which is rarely found anywhere. It was delicious for me. But the burgers we came for turned out to be so-so. The medium cutlet was too undercooked. The second BBQ burger was very salty and had a lot of sauce. In general, we won't come here for burgers. +The dog is confusing, even if he is kind, some people have phobias from one type, plus, according to sanitation standards, it is possible to have a dog in a public catering facility - I don’t know.
