Gatsby Burger in Bremen

One of the best burgers I've ever had. The tables are very close together, making it quite noisy. The wait for the food and bill is long, but overall it's worth it because the taste is simply amazing!

We spontaneously requested a table for four by phone and received confirmation, so we headed straight in. However, we received a very unfriendly welcome, saying there was only one seat left at the bar or a small table for three. Added to that was the uninviting notice that the restaurant would be closing in an hour anyway. Since we were already hungry, we had no choice but to accept the table for three – as a group of four. What was incomprehensible was that there was a free table for six right next to us with a "reserved" sign. Perhaps that would have been our seat, but after the reception, we didn't want to pursue it any further. The waiter brought us the menu and returned after just two minutes to take our order – completely rushed and impatient. This is definitely not how you imagine a Saturday night in a restaurant. The food was tasty, the burgers were delicious, but a bit small for the price. The service, on the other hand, was by far some of the worst we've ever experienced. Even when clearing the table and paying, we felt like we weren't welcome as guests. If they had told us honestly on the phone that there were no more tables available, everything would have been fine. As it was, it was just unpleasant – a real shame.

Absolutely brilliant burger joint! The veggie burgers and buns are absolutely delicious and the homemade sauces make every bite a delight. The side dishes, especially the crispy fries and delicious dips, are another highlight. Added to this is friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere – simply the best burger joint around! Never disappointed. Gatsby forever!

Went there, but unfortunately there were no burgers, new coals come on the grill from 4-4:45 p.m. But then there isn't much left to eat in a burger joint. And there wasn't all of that either. Really really bad.

After a long day of shopping in the city, we were on the way back in the car when I saw the outdoor advertising out of the corner of my eye. Since we were hungry, we quickly turned around, looked for a parking space and visited the restaurant. Very friendly reception, quick order acceptance. The drinks were brought to the table quickly. The burger menus we ordered were very tasty and tasty. Likewise the frieze. We are very enthusiastic about the quality and the ambience. Great attention. Thanks. We will come again.

Delivery time was stated as 60 minutes and required 120 minutes. Nobody could be reached by phone either. In addition, a drink was not delivered as ordered.

The fries were tasty, but unfortunately the burger didn't taste good, the cheese tasted like plastic and the sauce was way too smokey, without you asking for it. Not worth the money. All the service staff were very nice.

The store has a really nice atmosphere, even if you don't expect it from the outside. Had castles and cocktails, both were really tasty and absolutely reasonable in terms of price.

In my opinion the best burger restaurant I have visited so far! The burgers taste something very special - every ingredient harmonizes perfectly with each other. The meat in particular has an intense, smoky aroma thanks to the charcoal grill, which takes the taste to a new level. You can literally taste the quality and careful preparation. The fries are also excellent and round the whole thing off perfectly. Until recently I was here almost every weekend, but unfortunately that is no longer possible due to moving. Nevertheless, it remains my favorite restaurant and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Absolutely recommended!

Brilliant burger shop not far from Bremen city center. Both the vegan/vegetarian selection and the meat burgers are impressive. Otherwise, fast and friendly service and super spicy and tasty burgers. Good to know, every burger on the menu can also be ordered with a Beyond Meat patty.

Had top fries with a burger on the side. It was delicious, you have to like the special smoky note in the patty.

A burger you have to try! The burger has a unique touch thanks to a special oven in which it is grilled with charcoal. Slightly smoky, with hot aromas. The food was very good. The ambience is convincing. The name of the store can be found in the decorative elements everywhere. Lots of attention to detail and everything is high quality. My equipment highlight: The audio book “The Great Gatsby” is playing on the toilet. We only have to make compromises in the service. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately not quick. Although only about 1/4 of the tables were occupied at lunchtime, the service couldn't keep up. As we all know, things have to be done quickly at lunchtime. The burger and fries were therefore already slightly cold when they arrived at the table. Conclusion: Worth a visit for burger fans!

You wouldn't expect a restaurant like this in this location, so we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was very quick and friendly and the burger was very tasty. The fries were first class. Gladly again.

Best burger shop, cool atmosphere, nice, helpful operator but above all the burgers are awesome. We were there today with three adults and 6 children, the food came quickly and at the same time. All burgers were well made and very, very tasty. We can recommend the store with a clear conscience

We spontaneously visited the Gatsby Burger 🍔 with 4 people 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 and they were able to assign us a great place 🍽️ straight away. The atmosphere is really appealing and cozy ☺️. The service was always friendly👋. The drinks 🍻 as well as the rest of the menu 🔪 were served quickly⏰. The burgers 🍔 simply taste sensationally good😋. This cannot in any way be compared to McDonald's or Burger King. In terms of taste, this is a completely different level and level 💪. The smoky 🔥 note 🎶 comes through excellently 😀. Price-wise, completely okay. With around 20€ 💸💸💸 in the menu (burger 🍔, fries 🍟 and soft drinks/small beer 🍺) per person 😀 you are there.

We've been there many times and the food is really excellent, so we keep coming back. But today (January 2nd, 2025) we were there and the service was extremely objectionable. The waitress sat down at the table with the customers and talked to them for over 35 minutes - our waitress was neglected. The other waitress (female) was very friendly but was slightly overwhelmed by the situation. We were missing cutlery, asked for more drinks and further questions about whether the food was tasty or something similar. But the food was again super tasty LH

Bit expensive. Hamburger wasn't completely cooked through, which is probably intentional, but I don't like raw meat (didn't know you had to say that beforehand). I find €2 for 3cl mayonnaise with a bit of fried onions on top really cheeky (otherwise the normal mayonnaise is available on the tables for free). Food was ok and service was very good. All other guests were happy with their burger.

The two of us were there on a Wednesday around pm. There was no reservation which wasn't a problem given that. We both ordered bugers with sweet potato fries and a Coke Zero. The food came to the table very quickly and tasted good too. For the price I would have liked a slightly larger portion. Probably one of the conditions was new because it seemed a little awkward, but everyone was nice and quick. There is only a deduction for the location itself. In my opinion, the issue was not fully followed through and the toilets need to be cleaner. Conclusion: If you want a delicious burger you can try Gatsby Burger. At a later hour I would recommend making a reservation, even during the week!

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for two years, appreciating the decent food and fair prices. However, during our recent visit, we felt rushed to pay and leave at 22:15, even though we hadn't finished our drinks. On Google it indicates 00:00, so we never expected this treatment at 22:15. Honestly it left us feeling undervalued as customers. A bit more attention to customer care would go a long way. That's really a pity

Me and my friends reserved a table for 9 people online on a Saturday afternoon. We also received an email shortly before the reservation and were informed of a coal change, which would delay the orders. When we all arrived with gifts in hand, the waitress was very surprised because she apparently didn't know about a reservation for 9 people. The waitress then seemed rather uncomprehending and offered us a table for just one hour with ordering time. We decided against it straight away and left. We then had to spend 3 hours searching for a birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, our evening and the celebration were ruined. We were really sad because we were actually very happy with the food and were looking forward to the visit.

Unfortunately the visit was disappointing, there was a lack of service orientation and customer-friendly behavior. Friendliness, a central soft skill in the catering sector, was hardly noticeable. There were also clear deficits in reliability: important requests were ignored or not taken into account at all, there was no willingness to make alternative suggestions through self-screwed behavior, nor any kind of apology, which affected the overall quality of service. Such deficiencies in the service mentality are unfortunate and leave a negative overall impression, despite the fact that this store has potential visually.

We were there recently with a bachelor party and were unanimously thrilled. The service was friendly and competent, the place seemed clean and attractively decorated and most importantly: the food was great. The burgers taste slightly smoky without being overpowering, the food was hot enough, the bread was perfect (neither soggy nor too crispy) and the fries were also very good. Clear recommendation. I've rarely seen everyone in a large group agree about a restaurant.

Our dinner at Gatsby Burger was a completely successful experience that was convincing in every respect. The store impresses with its atmospheric 1920s-style interior, which creates a unique atmosphere with the large bar counter full of different spirits. The stylish and at the same time warm, slightly dark lighting reinforced the feeling of being welcome and immediately feeling at home. The cleanliness was also remarkable, especially in the toilets, which are also decorated in a nostalgic style. The women's toilet was humorously designed, which made us smile - there is obviously an emphasis on charming details. About the food: My wife chose the "Brooklyn" burger and I chose the "Monami". The meat was cooked perfectly medium and had an intense, juicy flavor that was simply great. The bun was also fluffy and pleasant to eat. The burgers were excellently topped and offered a real taste experience. The fries served with it were nice and crispy, not too greasy and mine had a delicious parmesan topping as a special extra. Overall, the meal was a real delight. We were completely satisfied with both the service and the cuisine – we would be happy to come back!

It was very easy to reserve a table and we were shown to our table by a friendly young man. This man asked us after a few minutes if we were ready to order, but we weren't. After a short while a very unfriendly lady came over to ask if we were ready to order and we said no. We then received an unfriendly look and she said in a disrespectful tone that she would be back shortly. The brioche bread was very dry and the parmesan fries are not recommended. All in all a bad experience.

Classic burger shop, which doesn't have a chip shop atmosphere, but looks a little more refined. The burgers were delicious and you could taste the charcoal grill aroma. The selection is really diverse. Selection of buns, patties and extras are completely sufficient. Unfortunately, the coleslaw didn't taste that good, it was just a bucket without any special kick. In terms of price, the burgers were on the higher side, so value for money was a little worse. The service was nice and relaxed.

We love your burgers. We wanted to come and eat with you yesterday after the Muhabbet show. Your opening hours are declared until 00:00. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. When an employee saw us, he preferred to go in quickly instead of telling us nicely that the restaurant had to close for whatever reason. What a shame!!

Very very tasty burger with fries. For us, by far the best burger shop in the region. Both the chicken, beef and the vegan burgers are great. Classic fries and sweet potato fries are both good 🍟 only point of improvement: the portion of fries could be a little larger. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation, have been there (too) often 😂😻🍟

I can't say enough good things about Gatsby Burger! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a friendly team who immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The burgers are simply fantastic! I tried the monami and it was cooked perfectly - juicy meat, fresh ingredients and the right amount of spices. The rolls were fresh and slightly crispy, just the way I like them. The side dishes, especially the sweet potato fries, were also to die for! The selection of drinks and dips is also impressive. I ordered the lemon iced tea with it and it completed the whole experience. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the quick service made my visit even more pleasant. I highly recommend Gatsby Burger to any burger lover! I'll definitely be back!
