Everything is fresh, from the vegetables to the meat, and the portions are really satisfying. I especially loved their signature sauce – perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Plus, the interior is modern and cozy, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommended!

You really can’t taste the difference — that was my first impression after the visit. I ordered a chili burger, chili cheese fries, and a beer. The fries were the highlight of the evening: spectacular, flavorful, pleasantly spicy, and overall extremely well executed. Crispy, bold, and easily the strongest part of the meal. The burger, however, left much to be desired. Simply changing the sauce and cheese doesn’t magically create ten different burgers, and the overall composition lacked depth. The bun was fine, and the toppings were fresh, but the excessive amount of sauce overwhelmed the patty’s flavor. Despite the visually impressive flame grill sessions, my companion and I both felt that they contributed more to atmosphere than to taste — a lot of show, but not much impact. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and fast. Nothing to complain about here. The atmosphere, on the other hand, needs improvement. We were seated directly under a ventilation unit and ended up feeling noticeably cold. The air also had a heavy, oily quality, suggesting the filters weren’t doing their job properly. Fixing the airflow and temperature would significantly enhance the dining experience. Overall: Outstanding fries, a good but uninspired burger, great service, and an atmosphere that could use some attention. A solid visit with clear room for improvement.

Great atmosphere and delicious burger

With all due respect, I don't understand the people who complain about the prices here. Burgers always taste great! If you don't like the price, Bremen has plenty of cheap burgers with a 100% toilet visit afterwards.

Best burger in Bremen. Taste-wise, it's on a whole other level. Whenever we eat burgers out, we always compare them to Gatsby, only to say, "You can't compare anything to Gatsby." The place is nicely decorated, too. I just don't understand the two toilets in the women's restroom, as if you'd want to shake hands while using them 😅 but the place and the burgers are top-notch.

The friends were especially interested in my order, the atmosphere and service were very good, thank you to everyone.

Nice place with good food. There were four of us, and we had called ahead and made a reservation. Our waiter was generally very friendly and took good care of us. However, a few small items were missing, but they were promptly brought to us when we asked. The food was really delicious, and they even accommodated special requests. The burger and dessert were the highlights, while the chicken nuggets were just okay. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but there was a bit of a draft at our table, and the overall noise level was too high for our liking. All in all, though, it was a lovely evening and a good restaurant that's definitely worth a visit.

The burger and fries were so awesome, I've never had such a good burger. I don't know what you put in the fries, but they were so crispy and just 🤌🏼 The blonde waitress was also really sweet, just sugar.

I was very surprised; I've never had a burger that was actually grilled over charcoal in a restaurant before. The meat had a wonderful smoky flavor, but unfortunately, it was a bit overdone. The rest of the burger was also very good; you could choose between two types of bun, and the fries were nice and crispy, though they were lacking salt.

Unfortunately the experience is getting worse. They started anticipating the closure time without updating Google and now around 9pm they already put pressure to order the last round of drink. Please, revert this trend because in the past was one of the best places in Bremen.

The burgers were delicious. I especially liked the fact that you could upgrade the menus. Instead of a regular soft drink, for example, you could choose a beer and only pay the surcharge for the soft drink.

Very friendly service, helpful, gives advice, recommends alternatives. Quickly asks if everything is okay. Attentive but not intrusive. Served on high-quality china. Highly recommended. We had the Classic Burger as a set meal, with homemade sauce. The patty was medium, as we ordered it, juicy yet crispy. Fresh ingredients. The homemade lemonades are amazing. All in all, I've rarely eaten such good burgers in such a pleasant location. An all-around successful evening.

The food was delicious but unfortunately also very expensive. We sat outside, right next to a busy street, which wasn't the best atmosphere.

Arrived Saturday at 9:55pm with 4p and the chef/bartender said "takeaway only" - sounded more like "we want to finish early" than "we're open until 10:15pm and we're a bar." They should update their actual opening hours.

Industrial style meets character and charm. The friendly staff, especially Özgür, has a keen sense for their guests, whether male or female. The burgers are all homemade and have an unforgettable taste that even blows me away, even though I'm not a fan of burgers. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended. For me, this is my absolute number one place for burgers.

First, my order was mixed up. Honestly, I didn't accept the giant bag full of burgers. I didn't even get a thank you; instead, I had to wait almost an hour for my burger and was even physically threatened when I complained. NEVER AGAIN!!! P.S. Even McDonald's has better burgers.

The Harlem Cheeseburger (one of a constantly changing special burger menu) was delicious. The fries, however, were absolutely amazing! They were perfectly crispy. Amazing. There are plenty of seats, either in the front facing the street or in the back. There's also a patio in front. Parking is extremely difficult to find. The prices are perfectly reasonable considering the quality. The service is very fast, courteous, and very friendly.

We always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The staff is very friendly. Orders were taken quickly, and the food was delicious. The burger was juicy with crispy bacon. You can choose between brioche and ciabatta bread. I recommend ordering from the set menu. The interior is very cozy, and Gatsby music plays in the restroom. It would be nice if you offered more desserts and made sure that homeless people couldn't bother the guests sitting outside.

In my opinion, this is the best burger restaurant I've ever visited! The burgers taste truly exceptional. The meat, in particular, has an intense, smoky flavor thanks to the charcoal grill. The fries are also particularly delicious and perfectly round off the whole experience. Until recently, I used to come here almost every weekend, but unfortunately, I'm no longer able to due to a move. Summary: Our visit to Gatsby Burger was unfortunately disappointing overall, which is why we don't plan on returning again. In detail: The service was okay – neither particularly friendly nor noticeably bad. However, glasses were missing for the drinks, and neither knives nor forks were provided for the food, which gave the impression of negligence. The burgers themselves didn't taste good at all. They were relatively small and unpleasantly smoky for our taste – an impression that lingered even hours later when we burped them. The texture was rather greasy, and they lacked any creative side dish or special touch. Overall, these were probably the most disappointing burgers we've ever eaten. The price is, in our opinion, significantly too high: A menu price of just under €19 per person + dip might be justified if the quality and presentation of the food matched that – but that wasn't the case here. The fries also didn't score highly: They were extremely salty and had an unpleasant aftertaste, presumably due to the frying oil used, although we couldn't quite identify the flavor. The dip (in our case, chili cheese) cost an extra €2, but was served in a very small bowl and tasted neither fresh nor what we expected. Regarding the atmosphere, even at half capacity, the restaurant was quite loud. We found it particularly unpleasant that a reservation sign for the next hour had already been placed on our table during our visit – it gave the impression that we should leave as soon as possible. In conclusion, it's certainly nice to hear that other guests have had good experiences – but unfortunately, our personal impression was quite different. Gatsby Burger didn't impress us in terms of taste or value for money.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. After I complained about my order because the meat wasn't cooked through (I had previously requested this) and the fries were soggy, I was offered a free delivery of the same meal. I received it a week later. But they made exactly the same mistakes. I complained and never received a response. It's a shame.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. The meat is 100% beef and they grill it over charcoal. It's true that the burger alone isn't that cheap, but the menu includes fries and a drink for less than €20. I'll definitely go back.

We arrived at 6:45 p.m. The restaurant was quite full, but we still managed to get a seat. We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, and then another hour for an order to arrive. Unfortunately, it was incorrect; instead of Beyond Meat, they brought a meat burger. They then asked us again what we had ordered, and one burger was correct, while the other wasn't. What was annoying, besides the long wait and the incorrect order, was that two tables that arrived after us had almost finished their food. It was also extremely loud and hectic, and at times a strong smell of smoke wafted into the dining area, which meant they only briefly aired the place out. We couldn't comment on the food and left because we were too hungry to wait that long again. Truly disappointing.

We waited 15 mins just for menus. Beer took another 15 mins. They brought 3/4 burgers and left the last person waiting for another 15 mins. (We finished eating by the time they brought it.) Food was okay, althought the burgers are quite small. Place looks nice.

This restaurant is located in Bremen and close to the city center. Parking is a bit difficult, but that's just how it is in the city. They offer a wide selection of burgers, whether vegetarian or chicken. A wide selection of sauces, and mayonnaise and ketchup are served at your table. The sweet potato fries were very good, as was the hamburger. You can choose between two different types of bread. The food came super quickly, and the service was also extremely friendly. A definite recommendation!

The charcoal grill makes the burgers really special - and all the ingredients are just good - from sauce to bun. Service also very nice and accommodating and also a great bar. Really good coffee and also good cocktails. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but absolutely suits the store.

I thought my burger (New York style) was okay, but not exciting. The meat tasted very neutral and apart from the goat cheese I hardly tasted anything special. I didn't even taste the mango chutney. Conclusion: I didn't think the burger was great, but not bad either and gave it three good stars.

I ordered the Turkey Bacon Burger as a menu and was very impressed. The meat has a strong smoky aroma and is very juicy. But the fries were somehow even better than the burger. I have no idea why, but the fries were nice and crispy on the outside and like mashed potatoes on the inside. I had only ever heard on the internet that this is what the perfect fries taste like and here I found them.

We spontaneously requested a table for four people by phone and received confirmation - so we set off straight away. However, we were greeted very unfriendly on site and told that there was only one place at the bar or a narrow table for three people. There was also the uninviting notice that the restaurant was closing in an hour anyway. Since we were already hungry, we had to accept the table of three - as a group of four. What was incomprehensible was that there was a free table for 6 with a “Reserved” sign right next to us. Maybe that would have been our place, but given the nature of the reception we didn't want to pursue it any further. The waiter brought us the menu and came back after just two minutes to take the order - completely rushed and impatient. This is really not how you imagine a Saturday evening in a restaurant to be. The food tasted good, the burgers were tasty, but a bit small for the price. The service, on the other hand, was by far one of the worst we have ever experienced. Even when clearing up and paying, we had the feeling that we weren't welcome there as guests. If we had been honestly told on the phone that there were no more tables available, everything would have been fine. So it was just unpleasant – a real shame.

Absolutely brilliant burger joint! The veggie burgers and buns are absolutely delicious and the homemade sauces make every bite a delight. The side dishes, especially the crispy fries and delicious dips, are another highlight. Added to this is friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere – simply the best burger joint around! Brilliant burger shop not far from Bremen city center. Both the vegan/vegetarian selection and the meat burgers are impressive. Otherwise, fast and friendly service and super spicy and tasty burgers. Good to know, every burger on the menu can also be ordered with a Beyond Meat patty.
