So far the best tasting kebab in the whole city but also pizza, pasta and salads are great there
Extra requests are implemented and the price is fair
Location is great in the city.
The staff is super nice and happy to talk to you.
There is a waiting time to set up but if you want delicious food you should accept this.
Unfortunately, the ambience is rather run down
Stale.
Modernization would be highly recommended here
I drove there last week and everything was covered but there was no sign about what was going on.
So if it's being renovated, which would be great, or it's been closed, which would be sad.
If you want to eat quickly, go to Rewe and get a jam sandwich, but here you will be served with food, which takes time but is always a very good taste experience. mfg
I like eating here. The Döner is really good. The service is also good and the waiting time is not so bad. Finding a parking space is not so easy. If you have luck, then you will find one before the shop.
Unfortunately very disappointed. When you come in you are greeted unfriendly and annoyed and the food is bland and thrown away. The meat was pink and raw and full of fat, which was unfortunately inedible and I didn't eat it. The vegetables and sauces didn't taste fresh either. I had diarrhea and nausea the next day. Unfortunately a very bad experience...
I also had 10 fries on my plate. For €10 it's a pretty inedible rip-off with hardly any stuff on it.
My first vacation in Berlin. Less than 200 m from my hotel there is a cozy, rustic kebab shop with very friendly service. The prices are absolutely right and we can't even manage to get it right. And for the money you get an absolute taste experience. The food was very tasty and can be recommended, very large selection and good dishes
We have ordered there several times now and this is the second time that we both feel incredibly sick after eating. The meat was very gristly and simply not tasty. It's a shame because we were relatively satisfied the other times. Nevertheless, such slip-ups are not possible!
Update:
It has improved a lot now but portions are sometimes good, sometimes smaller.
At the opening and for a few months afterwards, the quality of the food was unbeatably good. Even among friends, people only went to König because they had the best kebab/yuvka, pide, etc. Prices were fair compared to the region as the portions were always very sufficient and were almost 50 cents below the average in the region. If there were longer waiting times or if you came more often, you were regularly offered tea.
But then something happened behind the scenes, after Corona there was an almost weekly price race upwards and the quality is constantly getting worse to this day.
The point of inedibility has almost been reached!
Both types of meat are cut from the spit just barely cooked, lukewarm and without any roasted aroma. Sometimes you have to be afraid that it is still raw.
Tea is no longer offered and the door is always completely open so that the cool air from outside flows directly to the seats. There have also been open spots on the ceiling for about a year from which the heating company is dripping into the guest room.
It's gone from 4-5 stars to a good-natured 2 stars in one or two years and there's no sign of improvement in sight... it's a shame that the store has been allowed to deteriorate so much and doesn't seem to give any thought to improving it even though hardly anyone goes there anymore compared to before. There is enough choice in Wendlingen and the other kebabs will be happy to welcome more König customers again.
Was there today and had a very bad experience. When I politely asked if I could get fresh meat, the owner became extremely rude and rude. In the end he even told me not to come back - that's not how you treat customers!
I'm not reviewing the restaurant here, but rather the owner. Disturbing the peace seems foreign to him. Every weekend we have to call the police so that we can have at least half a night of peace. The guy is incorrigible.
