Die besten Restaurants mit Restaurant Essen in Neustadt an der Orla

This time I ended up in the Altstadtklause in Neustadt an der Orla & I have to say that it was pretty good in itself. The solyanka tasted really good, the spiced meat also looked great, my cordon bleu was also delicious, the portion was really big and the price was absolutely justified. The landlord and waitress were very friendly, even if it sometimes took a while for supplies to arrive. I ordered an extra sauce with my dish and actually only received the purest warmed cream, which I personally didn't like at all. In addition, it all came in one, the sauce was already on the plate and not “extra” as I ordered it. This ensured that everything that would have been crispy became mushy and creamy from the sauce. The ambience is getting a bit old, but everything is still well-kept, but for me it's a bit too rustic. Price/performance is really ok I wish the entire Altstadtklause team all the best and a Merry Christmas & remain, Best regards

Super tasty food, great service, very good price-performance ratio and very nice hosts. Anke only gets angry when there are special requests... Of course the last sentence wasn't meant seriously. Gladly again

The rooms were clean, a bit older but in good shape. The breakfast food was good. You could also order some dishes in the beer garden

We had ordered a table for 6 people, unfortunately the table was only set for 4. The service was alone and visibly overwhelmed; cutlery was only handed out when asked. The food was good, except for the spaghetti carbonara, which tasted sweet. Several people tried it and we sent the food back and refrained from ordering a replacement. The waitress said they tried it in the kitchen and added more salt to the food, then it no longer tasted sweet. For me, the maestro in the kitchen confused the salt with sugar... the food was still on the bill.

Very nice museum run with a lot of commitment. Unfortunately it has to close, but I really hope that it can reopen after the State Garden Show or that another location can be found. Well done, respect!!!!
