The food was very tasty, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. Anyone who likes good home-style food will be happy to find what they are looking for here; with a large selection of dishes, there is something for everyone. Ideal after a nice walk in the forest to end the day. Price performance is top and the toilets are clean and well maintained. It was our first but definitely not our last visit.

The best chicken in Saarland can only be found here. The manager of the house is super nice. Children's wishes are taken into account here.

I only had a few cents with me and I was so hungry. He just made me food anyway. I've never met a person as nice as him.

Yesterday (01/19/25) I was invited to the buffet. "In the Reimsbacher Hof". What was noticed negatively: The guests were so greedy, e.g. A man plucked the last two slices of sausage from his fork even though his plate was overflowing. Cutlery in the salad, touched several times, lay with the handle in the bowl and was used again and again. (and much more)... Then, in the presence of the staff, guests with their cutlery (forks) plucked schnitzel from the serving plate as they passed by. Which completely ruined my appetite... Even though I hadn't eaten anything, we had to pay for two meals. I advise against visiting this food temple. Especially at the buffet. My friend wrote to the innkeeper and hasn't received an answer yet.... Thanks 0 points
