Wonderful, relaxed place with nice people. Great atmosphere, especially inside, but also a nice, small courtyard, drinks are self-service, but the food is then brought to you. Very tasty, homemade cider and game specialties. Clear recommendation, but you should make a reservation!

We had a reservation at 12 noon on a Sunday. Our order was taken at 12:30 p.m., a small salad arrived at 1:40 (!), and a children's schnitzel at 2 p.m., with the food arriving around 2:20 p.m. (almost two hours after ordering). Cautious criticism was followed by a sharp rebuke that we hadn't ordered so late: If you don't accept card payments, some of the group will have to drive to the nearest bank... The food was like a classic country inn; the garden was lovely—but we can't recommend it. A missed opportunity—this meal deserved better service.

This venue is perfect for intimate gatherings! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding. We hosted our wedding here in August with around 40 guests, and everyone was thrilled with the beautiful setting, exceptional service, and amazing food. It truly made our special day unforgettable!

Best pizza ordered so far in Pfungstadt, from dough to taste. Unfortunately the waiting times are too long and the pizzas are 30cm, it was 26cm.

Service really bad. We waited forever to order and then had to go in for the bill. Food super tasty. Had pizza & schnitzel. So price-performance is okay. It's a shame, we would have drunk a lot more and eaten dessert. Nice terrace to stay longer.

Been a regular customer for Giesela and Max for years... I've been there 2-3 times since the change of tenant. Positively surprised and thrilled with the food, everything was delicious, a nice selection. You can also get the burger as a vegetarian alternative to beef or chicken. Nice fresh beer or cider on tap. Wasn't there last time, would love to come back.
