It's amazing how small the normal burger is, the taste was ok but it wasn't a normal burger but more of an XS burger. Even at Megges the portions are larger and the fries were as if they had been thawed in the microwave.

Good food and fair price. Salad buffet included. Friendly staff despite a full house. I'd love to come back when I'm nearby.

We go to Bad Buchau for a week every year. A great area for hiking - for example in the Wackelwald - or simply unwinding - on the great footbridge out into the Federsee. Well, you can also take care of your physical well-being, in Bad Buchau I recommend the cozy Gasthaus zum Hecht (located on the way from the Federseesteg to the city center). The innkeepers are friendly, there is good music and the food, whether meat or fish, tastes excellent and is served beautifully. We especially enjoy fish dishes there, Croatian-spicy and served with fries that are just right crispy and never dripping with fat. The salads have never disappointed us either. We have enjoyed coming here for years and will be back in 2025. If the sky doesn't fall on our heads first. 🤗😉
