We had already visited the restaurant two months ago and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly service. Since we were the only guests at that time, around 3 p.m., we struck up a conversation with the owner. He recommended some specialties based on some video recordings on his phone, among which the salt-crusted sea bass particularly appealed to us. Here, the owner recommended the wild-caught sea bass, saying it was incomparably delicious. We decided to order this dish overnight and received confirmation the next day that the fresh fish had been delivered by the supplier. We were very pleased. When we arrived at the restaurant around 2 p.m., we were again the only guests. We ordered a bottle of Turkish white wine and a bottle of mineral water. Unfortunately, there was no wine cooler! We also missed fish cutlery! In addition to the standard cutlery, we were served a very simple paper napkin. The sea bass was a normal size and very tasty in its salt crust. The side dishes were modest, especially the vegetables. We then ordered dessert, which was also delicious. When we received the bill, our good mood took a severe hit. The sea bass cost €100, while the menu listed it at around €32 for the frozen version. It would have been appropriate for the owner to point out to the guest when ordering that the prices for wild-caught fish are currently out of control, and the price is accordingly high! By the way, there's no courtesy of the house when paying here either. We won't be visiting this restaurant again!
