We ordered delivery yesterday for almost 60 euros. The delivery time was exceeded by quite a bit, which would have been bearable. Unfortunately, the order was not at all what we expected. We ordered rice and received fries with a note saying that it was unfortunately out of stock. The shop had just opened, and you wonder why important ingredients were missing. Furthermore, the chicken strips were completely over-fried, bone-dry, and almost black. The chicken in one main course was barely seasoned and cooked through but not really grilled. The beef in the other main course tasted far too much of cinnamon and was tough. The Lebanese bread, unfortunately, was also not as fresh and sticky. All in all, only the tabbouleh was as expected and edible. Because we were so disappointed, we called the shop to complain why they hadn't at least called us about the rice and to complain that the chicken strips were burnt. We had to listen to the following excuses: "We ordered when it was closed" (that's called a pre-order) "They didn't have credit to contact us" (So the store doesn't have a phone?) "The chicken strips have to be like this, otherwise they're not cooked through" (black, rock-hard, and dry; is the new fresh and crispy version?) When we asked if they would replace the items we were complaining about, we were told that this wasn't possible because they didn't have their own drivers. Dear business owners, this isn't my problem as a customer! When we asked about a refund, we were told to contact Lieferando, and they would then approve it. A blatant lie; the email with the rejection just arrived. Food worth a lot of money wasted, and we'd already lost our appetite for the salad. Thanks for nothing!
