Today our Santa Claus dinner with 8 people. Food was good, the waiter was super nice and attentive👍. The hammer came when paying (other waiter): We wanted to pay by card in pairs. Answer: ...that's not possible, only cash payment. A couple had a voucher, it was accepted but the entire sum of €90 was deducted from the total.. that doesn't work at all!!!! EXTREMELY NAUGHTY!!! So one person had to take over the entire bill with a card 🙈... And everyone somehow scrapes together the remaining balance with the voucher and gives it back to the couple. If this is normal procedure in your restaurant, please do your guests a favor by posting this on your homepage. We came from Hennef/Sieg, for example, and don't know anything like this in the catering sector😪
