Very tasty and freshly prepared food. We were registered as a group of 10 and had different dishes. It was all very tasty.

I would have given the restaurant 2-3 stars because it is in the lower middle range in terms of ambience and food. However, the service is not a customer-oriented service, but rather very much in the background and with a few words. After the gourmet hike, it is understandable that many people go out to eat afterwards. There are also waiting times to be expected. But here a restaurateur should and must also be able to communicate with guests. There were 10 of us and the wait for drinks was quite long, even though not many came after us. The food order could not be taken at the same time and we had to ask twice when we could order the food. We would not be told how long we would have to wait for the food. And after almost 1.5 hours of waiting, we remembered that two children at the table had been waiting for a very long time. The adults finally received their food after almost 2 hours. As I said, not many guests came after us. Waiting times are ok if they are humane and in the case of longer waiting times you also expect this to be communicated. There was never an apology. There is no need to expect compensation/goodwill. Since the service was almost non-existent and there is no service thought, I can only give this rating. To be fair, I announced this on site and gave the restaurant the opportunity to respond. The portions of the food are not too big, especially not the Bolognese schnitzel, which is in a small baking dish, is quite thin and not that big either. For three guests, the noodles varied in terms of bite, sometimes almost soft, sometimes too firm. It was my first time there and there is no temptation to repeat the experience.
