I can understand the negative reviews after the 4 of us ate with the gourmet block at Stivale today. As soon as we ordered, the boss approached us in an annoyed manner. The cutlery was presented carelessly (even forgotten at the neighboring table) and the dishes were rather below average. I had gratinated eggplant (more appetizer size), where the cheese smelled very unpleasant and strong, so I considered mixing the dish at all. When I told the boss at the end, the explanation was that solid sheep's cheese was used, which they always use for the dish. My sons' portions were rather small, so they weren't full. In the end it was not possible to pay by card. I'm not sure if the star average of 3.9 is because the previous owner's 5 star reviews are included. It's a shame, unfortunately the evening wasn't a culinary delight for any of us.
