If I write that the bread was the best part of a very boring salad, then that says something about the quality! If I write that €8 is charged here for an insignificant bottle of water, then that says something about the price! If I write that with a turnover of €270 (6p) there isn't even a "thank you" shot from the grumpy boss, then that says something about the service! --- Now that I've read through her pitiful response to my review, I can't help but ask myself: "Why did I tip €12?" Probably because (at that point) I just “felt like it”? You have understood nothing, absolutely nothing (!), of what I have written and what you want to achieve with an objective criticism!? Service = 0 (zero) stars! Although the trend is (perceived?) increasing, it is still the absolute majority of restaurants and pubs that are quite capable of conjuring up a delicious and sophisticated dish (even with "what the market has to offer"!)! Otherwise we would really have a “serious” catering problem! In the past I would have been extremely annoyed by someone like you, but today I just go where people still value each other! arrivederci per semper!
