We were at the Matchpoint clubhouse this evening. We were looking forward to a tasty meal prepared by the Italian chef and according to the pictures of the food and reviews on the internet. Our pizza was neither on the bottom nor was the edge crispy. Our salad wasn't fresh. The brown edges on the sections testified to this. I asked politely whether the salad was always delivered to the guest like this. The waiter said everything was freshly bought by him. I dare say it was store-bought salad mix from a bag. Embellished with three black olives from the jar, some sliced ​​cucumber and tomato and very, very little yogurt dressing, natural without herbs. Whoever prepared the food this evening: It wasn't the Italian chef, especially since he had already left the house, which the waiter confirmed to us. I wrote an email to the Matchpoint clubhouse and received the advice in response. We didn't have to eat the food and get our money back. We certainly wouldn't have been hungry!!!!! How do you respond to a tip like that??!! For us it wasn't about money, but about what the guest was expected to do. Not a word of apology.

The food is delicious! The staff are also very friendly. I can highly recommend Il Monte.

El trato recibido ha sido magnífico. Muy profesional. Fuimos a comer un grupo de 9 personas a las 3:15h de la tarde y nos atendieron de lujo. El carpaccio riquísimo, las pizzas y la pasta también. Además una de las personas es celíaca y le prepararon varios platos especiales para ella. Muy bien decorado , baños muy limpios. Merece la pena si se está por mitte leipziger strasse.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr ausgeleiert und das Essen nicht ausreichend. Wir wollten zusammen einen schönen Abend haben ,da wir aus Neapel kommen und italienisch lieben. Dieses Restaurant aber nicht. Nicht auf den "Punkt" gebracht. Die Mitarbeiter in Il Punto wirkten überfordert und gereizt.

A very original-looking Italian restaurant, run by Italians. Great food, great meat quality, nice atmosphere. I wouldn't go there with children or even strollers, it's cramped. But otherwise great!
